This film is based on the ''Manga/{{Naruto}}'' manga by Creator/MasashiKishimoto, and is set in the same world as ''Dragon Ball Evolution''. This is the second film in the ''Shōnen Jump Cinematic Universe'', a complete ripoff of the ''Franchise/MarvelCinematicUniverse''.

9	Long ago, a man named Minotaur Namikaze defeated a nine tailed fox that threatened the Earth. After doing so, he feasted on its chakra meat and gained great power, which he used to create five hidden ninja villages. Many years have passed, but ninja still live in these villages and train in the ways of Minotaur.
