!!Movie
* Delbert and Sarah's friendship, especially when he encourages her to let Jim go on the voyage.
** When Sarah's inn burns down, Delbert doesn't hesitate for a second before taking Sarah and Jim to the university and helping them however he can.
* The entire [[GoodTimesMontage montage]] of Jim's growth and the development of his relationship with Silver, intercut with flashbacks of his father abandoning him to show Silver as his [[ParentalSubstitute father-figure]]. Also set to the lovely "[[SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic I'm Still Here]]" by John Rzeznik.
* "Now you listen to me, ''James Hawkins''. You've got the makings of greatness in ya, but ya gotta take the helm and chart your own course. Stick to it, no matter the squalls! And when the time comes, you get the chance to really test the cut of your sails, and show what you're made of! ...Well, I hope I'm there, catchin' some of the light comin' off ya that day..."
** And he was. (In a BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor kind of way.)
** Jim's response to this is to adorably lean his head against Silver's belly for comfort. Silver has to take a moment to make sure none of his crew is watching, before allowing himself to hug Jim back and tell him it's alright.
** And the soundtrack accompanying the scene? [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gd8W9ibw4Es "Silver Comforts Jim"]].
** At the end, Jim turns back to Silver and, for the first time, gives him [[WhenHeSmiles a soft, genuine smile.]] That was exactly what he needed to hear.
** Silver (after Jim saves them all): "DIDN'T I SAY THE LAD HAD GREATNESS IN 'IM!?"
** When Silver is leaving, he enthusiastically offers Jim to come with him. Jim replies that his old self would have jumped at the opportunity, but thanks to Silver's encouraging words from before, he's going to create his own path instead. Silver asks Jim what he sees, from that bow of his, and Jim's response is "A future.", an inverted CallBack of the "What future?" line from the beginning of the film. Silver remarks that Jim is glowing "like a solar fire", like he knew he someday would. The two share a tearful goodbye hug, that Silver initiates no less.
* And for the cherry on the icing on the cake, "Always Know Where You Are" playing over the credits.
* Silver sacrificing the treasure in order to save Jim. And then as he's leaving, he tosses some treasure from his pocket (which was most likely the only treasure he managed to get) so Sarah could rebuild the Benbow Inn.
** Considering, Silver was the one (along with the other pirates) who burned it down, this is kind of a roundabout way for Silver to make up for his past misdeed. The fact that he specifically says the gold is for the inn practically confirms it.
** The line Silver gives after saving Jim says it all:
-->''' ''' "Just a lifelong obsession, Jim. I'll get over it."
** This comment on the scene by [=YouTube=]-user DA [=MotoNeko=] that is so good it has to be recorded here:
-->'''DA [=MotoNeko=]:''' Jesus allmighty christ. Forget Disney Princesses. We need more like Silver. Disney Father-figures.
* Two things in particular: At the end, Jim looking up at the sky and seeing a [[SkyFace cloud-form Silver smiling down]] (complete with a star for [[ElectronicEyes his eye]]), and this dialogue:
-->'''Silver:''' What say you ship out with us, lad? You and me, Hawkins and Silver, full of ourselves and no ties to anyone!\
'''Jim:''' You know... when I got on this boat, I would've taken you up on that offer in a second. But, uh, I met this old cyborg, and he taught me that I could chart my own course. That's what I'm gonna do.\
'''Silver:''' And what do you see, off that bow of yours?\
'''Jim:''' A future.\
'''Silver:''' Why, look at you! Glowin' like a solar fire. You're somethin' special, Jim. You're gonna rattle the stars, you are!
* When the map seemingly fails, the crew then talk about killing Jim. [[FreezeFrameBonus Blink and you'll miss it]], but Silver actually looks pretty worried about him [[PapaWolf and ready to protect him from angry pirates.]]
* After Jim saves the crew, he flies past Silver on his solar surfer and high-fives him, leading to a SoProudOfYou moment. It is precious; even the crew happily cheers for Jim despite their Jackass behavior towards him earlier.
** Even better, he high-fives Silver's cybernetic hand seemingly without thinking, which he'd refused to touch the whole film.
* Silver giving his beloved Morph to Jim. Which lends some heartwarming to Sarah at the end; her son really did come home smiling with a new pet.
* Doppler and Amelia's growing, if subtle, relationship throughout the movie:
** The moment after escaping Treasure Planet's destruction via a portal back to the Spaceport, Doppler and Amelia hug in joy... then after a few seconds, they look at each other... and smile.
** A few scenes later we find out that they are HappilyMarried with four kids: Three girls who look like their mom and one boy who's the carbon copy of his father.
** Amelia: "Doctor... you have ''wonderful'' eyes".
* A little moment during the supernova scene, as they ride the last wave out of the dying star: Jim is pressed against the mast and his lifeline, scared to death, and Silver has both his cyborg arm and his whole body around Jim, protecting him from whatever goes flying past them.
* The immediate aftermath of the black hole scene, before the horrible MoodWhiplash. Amelia compliments Jim on successfully securing the lifelines, and he looks up at Silver for approval almost shyly. Silver nudges him proudly, and Jim smirks playfully; the whole thing is indescribably adorable.
** Right after saving everyone's lives from Treasure Planet exploding, Amelia proudly commends Jim for his heroic actions, even going so far as to recommend him to the Interstellar Academy. Seeing that we see Jim return in the end proudly wearing his uniform, he took her up on that offer.
* "Jim, I don't want to lose you." "Mom... you won't. I'll make you proud."
* The scenes where Silver [[PetTheDog dotes on Morph]] are quite adorable.
* Scatterbrained and [[TheLoad largely unhelpful]] he might be, but B.E.N.'s loyalty to Jim is rather sweet.
** Especially when the end reveals him happily employed at the Benbow.
* Practically every moment between Sarah and Jim at the end, especially when he returns home and they hug, then share a dance at the DancePartyEnding.
** Overlapping with Funny Moments, when the door slams open and brings the party to a screeching halt as the two police robots stand ominously in the doorway... Followed immediately by them standing aside in unison to reveal Jim in his spiffy new academy uniform, lighting the party back up and causing Sarah to give a massive proud smile, even the same Robot Police that presumably are the ones who arrested him at the beginning, shake his hand and salute him too.
* Amelia's kind words in honor of the deceased Mr Arrow. There is no doubt she truly cared for him as an officer and a friend.
* The junior novelization, Jim's journal, gives some more details and insight into certain characters and moments. For instance, Jim actually felt terrified when Scroop was pinning him against the mast, to the point he was shaking. Silver saving him meant a lot to him.
** Silver apparently tells bad pirate jokes to pass the time, and Jim finds them hilarious.
** Silver taught Jim a spacer song at one point.
** Jim's last line in the journal? "It never would have happened if it weren't for that old pirate who helped me find the real treasure -- the one inside myself!"
