* Do well in Factory Driver missions, and your fellow Porsche Test Team staff will commend you for being part of your team.
* Rolf, the Chief Test Driver of the team, acts as your guide. He welcomes you to the team, warms you up and encourages you to not just excel in the future tests, but to also have fun. If you fail in the early stages, Rolf will tell you to keep on practicing and never give up until you get it right.

[[AC:[[VideoGame/NeedForSpeedHotPursuit Hot Pursuit (2010)]]]]
* A small one. As a cop, the female dispatch voice will always maintain a professional tone, but being hit by an EMP will have dispatch show genuine concern in her voice.
-->'''Dispatch''': Monitoring a system overload, ''are you okay?!''

[[AC:[[VideoGame/NeedForSpeedTheRun The Run]]]]
* Similarly, at the end of Stage 8 in ''[[VideoGame/NeedForSpeedTheRun The Run]]'', after Jack narrowly escapes the mob by [[CarFu hurling his car off a ramp into the mobsters' helicopter]], [[MissionControl Sam]] calls him with obvious worry for him conveyed in her voice:
-->'''Sam Harper''': Jack, talk to me! ''What's going on?!''
* The ending. [[spoiler: Jack wins The Run, his debt settled with the mob and his prize money waiting to be claimed. [[EarnYourHappyEnding Jack finally deserves the break after going through hell]].]]

[[AC:[[VideoGame/NeedForSpeed2015 2015 reboot]]]]
* The [[VideoGame/NeedForSpeed2015 2015 reboot]] came out noticeably LighterAndSofter compared to ''[[VideoGame/NeedForSpeedRivals Rivals]]'' - which is to this point the darkest entry in the series.
** The way UI is placed encourages you to pay the fine you incurred during a police pursuit. It's nice to see the series that was mainly about speeding and breaking the rules actually pays respect to the law and real-world driving safety for once, even if it's only temporary.
** The Outlaw story arc is quite noticeably the shortest one in the game, and the majority of the live-action scenes have the characters sternly point out the dangers and just general stupidity of cop baiting for excitement.
** Unlike previous underground-themed entries where edgy racers are vying against each other, here we see ''friends'' generally ''having fun''.
