1	* [[JeanneDArchetype Wazzer]] speaks with the voice of the Duchess, and [[spoiler:bids all the generals to return to their homes, and rebuild their country -- and she returns their kiss of service]].
2	* Polly, afraid for her brother's life, finally finds him in the custody of Vimes; she sees that someone had given him a box of colored chalk and he was happy as can be, drawing birds. Buggy's buzzard is even perched there for reference.
3	* Wazzer/[[spoiler:Alice]]'s happy ending: [[spoiler:She gets her own room at the Palace, knows the Duchess has blessed her, and she's never beaten again.]] And that was all she ever wanted.
4	* Lofty makes an inspiring [[BandOfBrothers Band of Sisters]] speech, without saying a word.
5	* Blink and you'll miss it, but when the roof of the tribunal falls in, everyone hits the deck--except Igorina, who instead throws herself over the unconscious Wazzer. Igors [[note]] Igorth?[[/note]] take their responsibilities to their patients seriously.
6	* Jackrum's Last Stand. [[spoiler:He reunites with the son that he gave up for adoption many years ago, but rather than reveal his old gender tells him that he is his long-lost father. Jackrum sends Polly a picture of the former with his proud son, happy daughter-in-law and four grandchildren, along with [[PassingTheTorch his sabres]].]]
7	* When the regiment [[spoiler: of women trying to pass themselves off as men in a sexist nation/army]] get to meet Angua from the Watch. They stare at her in awe [[spoiler: performing as Vimes' trusted lieutenant with no one batting an eye at her being a woman.]]
8	* Lofty and Tonker go off together and [[spoiler: burn down the Girl's Working School.]]
9	* Maladict [[spoiler: also known as Maladicta]] is the only one of the regiment (besides Polly) to return to military life at the end of the novel, indicating that despite her cynical personality, she still wants to work for the ideals set out by Wazzer. Also, whether you see her and Polly's relationship as friendship or something else, it seems that reuniting with Pol was also part of Mal's motivation.
10	** WordOfGod is that Mal did indeed return out of love for Polly.
11	* Blouse, after a little bit of surprise, is not remotely bothered when the squad reveals that they're all female. Instead, he just refers to classical examples of legendary women warriors, including the Discworld's equivalent of Amazons, noting how men "couldn't handle fighting women." He also stands up for the squad and rather curtly tells both Lord Rust and a representative of the Borogravian top brass that they're his soldiers and he's going to stick by them. Indeed, rather than be feted as a hero, he chooses to stick his neck out alongside them, no matter the consequences.
12	* Jackrum [[spoiler: ran away to join the army in order to be with her sweetheart, and from the limited account we get, they seemed to make it work and be very happy together - right up until he got killed [[TearJerker right next to her.]] ]]
13	* Polly at the end of the book, to the two new recruits: "You are my little lads - or not, as the case may be - and ''I'' will look after ''you''."
14	* Carborundum/Jade the troll and her beau get engaged/married.
15	* Shufti and her child, who she names after Jackrum, lived in Perks' family inn along Paul and Old Perks. Shufti becomes a happy cook at the inn, and it's mentioned gentle Paul dotes on baby Jack.
