* "Day of the Dumpster" has a brief bit where Kimberly hugs Alpha after he goes nuts trying to comprehend her joke about not joining the team.
** Jason also turns out to be a very encouraging teacher during his martial arts class, complimenting Billy and declining Bulk and Skull's request to learn how to "beat people up." Martial arts were not designed to harm others.
-->'''Jason:''' Can anyone tell me the six tenets of Martial Arts?
-->''(Billy raises his hand)''
-->'''Jason:''' Billy?
-->'''Billy:''' Courage, kindness, integrity, fitness, loyalty, and discipline.
-->'''Jason:''' Very good! You memorized that very quickly.
-->''(Billy smiles)''
* "Different Drum" - it turns out Kimberly knows sign language and uses it to help her friend Melissa, who's deaf, take part in her dance class. When Melissa is feeling down about bumping into another girl because Kimberly forgot to sign the next step, Kim reassures her that she's a great dancer. She may seem like a superficial ValleyGirl sometimes, but Kim has a heart of gold.
** Although it's at Billy's expense, Kim shows Melissa that even hearing people can make mistakes in dance, and the two girls share a cute laugh.
** And later, the girl who got mad when Melissa bumped into her apologises and Melissa forgives her.
* "Big Sisters" has a bit of Fridge Heartwarming. The Rangers summon the Megazord in order to save a little girl from being dropped to her doom by the MonsterOfTheWeek. Said monster is still human sized, mind you. One of Zordon's rules is that you can't escalate a fight unless Rita forces you to. Saving a little girl is equally important to the Rangers as stopping a monster from destroying the city.
* A subtle one in ''Dark Warrior", Rita is seen hitting her henchmen over the head for drinking unlabeled formulas. While it looks like typical BadBoss comedic villainous abuse, it's done to discourage them from doing something stupid like that again. She wouldn't have been this upset if she wasn't concerned about the safety of Squatt and Baboo and wanted to drill the message home. It's the first subtle sign that she has some goodness in her heart.
* The end of [[ChristmasEpisode "I'm Dreaming of a White Ranger"]], in which Rito has a surprise for Goldar.
-->'''Goldar:''' So, what are ya hiding?
-->'''Rito:''' Well, in keeping with the holiday spirit, I want you to have this. ''(hands Goldar a present)''
-->'''Goldar:''' Uh, you mean this is for me?
-->'''Rito:''' Goldar, happy holidays, ya big lug!
** In the original VHS version, before heading for the North Pole, the Rangers receive a message from Kat, [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYDk4ADpP5o who is visiting her family in Australia for the holidays.]]
** The little girl's father actually being able to see her during the children's performance.
*** This comes soon after she asked Bulk (who was being Santa Claus for the party) if he could make it so her father could be there. When she thanks him he's genuinely touched.
** Right at the end the cast break character as they address the audience and wish us all a merry Christmas.
* "Green with Evil":
** All the Rangers, with the exception of Jason, are prepared to quit after having suffered a string of defeats at the hands of Rita and her new Green Ranger. When they discover the Green Ranger is a brainwashed Tommy, their desire to fight is renewed by a determination to save their friend. This not only saves Tommy from Rita's control but it also begins Tommy's long history as a hero in the PR universe. Even in ''Series/PowerRangersDinoThunder'', Tommy still credits his friends as the reason he is the hero we know and love him as today.
** Jason stepping up to reassure Tommy after they've freed him from Rita's control. Tommy is aghast at the chaos and destruction he's wrought, but Jason assures him it isn't his fault. "What you did, you did under Rita's influence. You own the Power now. We need you." And as the six of them morph together for the first time, they forge a friendship that will last to their dying days.
** Upon their return to the Command Centre, the team all express relief that Zordon is back, and Zordon in turn assures them all that they acted like true heroes despite the challenges they faced. Trini notes that they owe it all to Alpha, and Zordon notes that he is very proud of Alpha's exceptional leadership in his absence.
* In "The Wedding," Rita uses a LovePotion on Zedd. Goldar can't believe that Zedd would actually fall for Rita and eventually, in "The Potion Notion" learns about it. He hits Zedd with a counter-potion... that has absolutely no effect on Zedd. Turns out, old Ed really loves her. It probably helps that Zedd had realized by that time that he was having as much trouble getting rid of the Rangers as Rita had in season 1, and thus really had no justification in banishing her back to the dumpster in the first place.
** Also, Rita originally gave Zedd the potion to eventually overthrow him. But somewhere along the line, up into that point, [[BecomingTheMask she comes to truly love him.]]
** It's also implied that Zedd may have subconsciously had feelings for Rita long before the two got married since in the episode "Beauty and the Beast", after having Goldar kidnap Kimberly, he tries to turn her into his bride. So who does Kimberly end up resembling during the attempted brainwashing? Rita. Meaning that Rita is Zedd's ideal girl.
** Finally it's implied that, while they may [[CardCarryingVillain both be unabashedly evil people]] the love that the two have for each other is genuine and one of their few redeeming qualities [[spoiler:as Rita and Zedd are two of the few villains who were purified due to the Zordon's energy wave at the end of [[Series/PowerRangersInSpace In Space]].]]
* In "The Spit Flower", Tommy rebuilding the float design for Kimberly, after it was destroyed by a group of Putties can be seen as really sweet.
* In "Return of an Old Friend- Part 2", when Tommy's operating on the assumption that this will be his last stand as the Green Ranger, once he regains the Dragon Dagger, he talks warmly to the Dragonzord as though it's a fully sentient being, asking his "old friend" for "one more time" to fight together.
* Tommy's letter to the team (and Jason, particularly) in "Missing Green". He misses the other Rangers. He tells Jason it's not his fault for losing Tommy's power and doesn't blame him for it; he never had. Jason was able to finally get over his guilt, and when he wins the tournament, he holds the trophy up and shouts "This is for you, Tommy!"
* "White Light":
** Upon learning that Alpha and Zordon were creating a new Ranger, the five veterans were somewhat disappointed that Tommy might be replaced, but Jason and Billy knew that with a more formidable villain to face, they needed this new Ranger regardless of whomever it was.
** It's not so much the Rangers' reaction to TheReveal of Tommy as the White Ranger as much as it is Zordon's reaction to their reaction. While everyone (except Kimberly, who's passed out on the floor) is celebrating and welcoming Tommy back, Zordon smiles(!) and chuckles like a father watching his child's reaction to seeing a new bicycle underneath the tree on Christmas morning.
** Doubles as a SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome. After disposing of Nimrod, the Red Dragon Thunderzord walks across the field and grasps the hand of the Mega Tigerzord and gives him a thumbs up and they nod before striking a pose. While they often do this in later episodes as well, on this one its as if the Rangers are telling Tommy 'welcome back' and Tommy saying 'it's good to be back'.
* In "Ninja Quest," Bulk and Skull graduate from the Junior Police Academy and the Power Rangers and Ernie attend the ceremony to applaud them for all their hard work.
* In season 3, episode 30 "Master Vile and the Metallic Armor". A very heartwarming moment when Tommy attempts taking the Zeo Crystal, protected against evil (implied to be responsible for Lord Zedd's appearance !) and requiring Incorruptible Pure Pureness : He gets a very serious warning that with his past as the evil Green Ranger, there is no way his heart can be pure enough to claim the Zeo Crystal. He ignores the warning and does it anyway, going through a painful seizure as his past evil deeds flash back in his mind. Even so, he overcomes it all and succeeds in taking the McGuffin for his team.
* In "Potion Notion", the monster of the day has been putting people under love spells using the same potion Rita used on Zedd, Kimberly gets hit with it and falls in love with Skull, asking him to the dance instead of Tommy and spends the whole episode swooning over him. Skull, who has had a crush on Kimberly since day 1, is enjoying the attention he receives from her. Of course an antidote is released before the dance and a shocked Kimberly ends up ditching Skull, leaving him disheartend. The crowning moment of heartwarming comes at the end of the episode where at the dance, Kimberly realizes how bad she had unintentionally hurt Skull, who is sitting at a table by himself, and goes up to ask him to dance. And considering how much the show treated Skull like a buffoon and a joke character it was nice to see them treat him as an actual person with feelings.
** Skull himself is surprised when she says that they are friends, but is nonetheless happy to that Kimberly now sees him in a different light.
** In fact, that was the moment that B&S stopped being down right antagonistic towards the Rangers. They still bantered back and forth, but from Potion Notion on you could sense it was more friendly banter than hateful.
** It's even more Heartwarming if you believe the [[EpilepticTrees theory]] that Kimberly is [[Series/PowerRangersSamurai Spike's]] mother.
* In "The Ninja Encounter, Part 1", Bulk and Skull try to save the runaway baby, only for Kimberly and Aisha to beat them to it. Though they do get to babysit when Jacob's dad was kidnapped by Goldar.
* The ending of "Doomsday, Part 2". The people cheer for the Power Rangers saving them once again. The music and the fact that it was intended to be the GrandFinale helps.
** Tommy was there cheering for them as well, and the Rangers were happy to see him.
* There's something very sweet about the fact that the Rangers become [[FriendlyEnemy genuinely fond of Bulk and Skull]] over time and even trust them to do the right/responsible thing when it comes down to it.
* Zordon's unflinching faith in the teens under his command is this on general principle.
-->'''Zordon''': [[SoProudOfYou The world is very lucky to have you...and so am I. May the power protect you, always]].
* In "The Power Transfer, Part 2", even though [[RealLifeWritesThePlot Austin St. John, Thuy Trang and Walter Jones had walked off set and the Power Transfer was essential]], after a formidable encounter with Serpentera, Trini briefly felt that they couldn't leave for the Peace Conference.
* Hearing Zordon in their heads after Jason destroyed the Crystal of Nightmares seems like this:
-->"''Power Rangers, you destroyed the Crystal of Nightmares and broken Rita's spell. You've regained your self-confidence. May the power protect you.''"
* Its a small moment, but after Finster helps restore Rita to normal size, she immediately hugs him and calls him "my little dingbat" in an affectionate manner. It goes to show that for all of her BadBoss tendencies, Rita is capable of genuine appreciation.
* A subtle one for the baddies in "Fourth Down and Long", where Lord Zedd, Goldar, and Rito are playing a game of football. After all their Villain Decay and repeated failure to take over the world, seeing the three of them just hanging out like normal friends was oddly cute.
* The Aquatian Rangers get one by their mere ''presence'': the Earth's environment is completely inhospitable to them (due to being from a planet covered entirely in water) and ''actively killing them'' just by being there, forcing them to near constantly rehydrate themselves just to ''survive'' there (and even then Earth water has significant differences from their homeworld's and doesn't do the job nearly as well). They're willing to risk it to protect people they barely know, because [[TheCape that's just what Power Rangers do]]. The Earth Rangers and Zordon get one in return by making it a point of always putting the Aquatian Rangers' health and well being first and foremost.
* RealLife examples:
** [[https://ew.com/tv/2018/12/03/yellow-power-ranger-thuy-trang-dead-remembered-cast/ The original cast pay tribute to the late Thuy Trang]]. TrueCompanions indeed.
** At [=C2E2=] 2013, Creator/JasonDavidFrank appeared for a panel & fan Q&A. Amongst the questions asked were if he would return for the [[Series/PowerRangersMegaforce 20th Anniversary season]] to which he asserted that he'd do it for $1, but nothing could top his answer to the first question: if he had ever felt ashamed over his ties to the show.
-->Visiting kids in the hospital who has a dying wish to see you? No way, man. To experience that – forget cameras, fame, forget all that. I've never been ashamed of it. For 20 years I’ve been promoting it and I'm still doing it. It’s part of who I am.
** Apart from Creator/JasonDavidFrank, none of the MMPR rangers appeared in ''Series/PowerRangersMegaforce'' (at least not helmet-less). Creator/DavidYost's reason for not appearing was that he should have at least received an apology for the gay-bashing he received. Creator/WalterEmanuelJones declined to appear in support of Yost.
** At the 2021 Awesome Con [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VH3QhenxRKw panel]], one fan burst into tears thanking both Karan Ashley and Walter Jones for what it meant for her to see African-American superheroes on a television show as a child.
** Although Steve Cardenas, Johnny Yong Bosch and Karan Ashley came onto the show to replace Jason, Zack and Trini, none of the cast members they replaced felt any ill will towards them and became good friends later in life - appearing at many convention panels together. Karan Ashley even says she wishes they all could have worked together.
** On the ''Power Rangers Playback'' channel, Katherine Sutherland and Nakia Burrise hosted an interview with Angela Rockwood - a close friend of Creator/ThuyTrang who was actually with her in the same car accident she died in. One fan asked Angela how Thuy would feel to know the enduring popularity of the show and her character. Angela excitedly replied that she would love it.
** At a 2014 convention panel, Austin St John was asked who his favorite Ranger was. He smiled and replied "Trini". He and Thuy Trang were very close, and in the same interview he spoke about how the two would often spend ages hugging on set to keep warm between takes.
