* Jesus killing Hank in ''Consternation''. The episode began with Hank suffering a very much UnwantedRevival, and when Jesus stabs him, unlike with Tricky at the end of ''Depredation'', he doesn't even try to fight it. Both of them seem to think it's the best thing to do, and that moment seals the fact they see the other as a FriendlyEnemy.
-->'''Jesus:''' Good night, Hank.
** Similarly, Hank flies into a rage when he sees that Tricky has killed Jesus in ''Depredation''.
* At the end of ''Inundation'', Jesus' HeroicSacrifice to destroy the primary Improbability Drive. [[KilledOffForReal His death is final this time]], but of all his deaths, this final one is where the Savior sacrifices himself to save humanity. It's how he'd want to go.
* Besides being funny, some of the little nuances of Sanford and Deimos's interactions are this. They check if each other is alright when they first wake up in 5.5, Sanford bandages Deimos's head for him in between fights, Deimos helps Sanford up after the latter is shot and continues to protect him until he patches himself up, and they help each other pick out clothes.
** At one point in ''ANAMNESIS.fla'', Deimos is ForcedToWatch Sanford be murdered by ATP Soldat as part of a punishment in the Hell dimension. When the exact same scenario happens, he is able to save Sanford in time, killing the Soldat with extreme prejudice. While the Sanford being fake all along and is just another projection to further torment Deimos is NightmareFuel more than anything, Deimos doesn't fight back, he merely falls back and cowers in shock and horror. Real or not, [[TrueCompanions Deimos would never think of hurting Sanford]].
** Hell, their introductions were made of heartwarming. Near the end of ''Depredation'', we see Sanford and Deimos ride up in their car, and without even prompting they begin to give Hank new weaponry before getting thrown under a building. It shows, for the first time, that [[YouAreNotAlone there are people on Hank's side willing to fight for him and support him]].
* At the end of ''Abrogation'', as the Auditor starts to break down, Hank realizes they need to get out of there immediately. The first thing he does is grab Sanford and pull him close, and the next thing he does is start climbing down the platform. Especially notable because at this point, Hank has been mutated into MAG form and his intelligence is supposed to be lowered.
* There's a brief moment in the latter half of ''Expurgation'' where Hank pushes Sanford behind him and takes on some enemies himself. While you might say Hank was just being his usual BloodKnight self, the gesture still seems rather protective and thoughtful considering Sanford was unarmed at the time and has been visibly wearing out throughout the episode.
* The way Hank gets so visibly excited in ''Incident:001A'' over a huge blender like he's a kid in a candy shop is oddly adorable. Somewhat mitigated that his first idea is to throw in as many AAHW agents as he can to find out if they blend, though.
* ''Incident:101A'' looks to be a case of MundaneMadeAwesome by having a courier deliver to an AAHW complex. It turns out to be a SurpriseParty for the courier, complete with cake. It's nice to see the literal faceless Grunts being treated as people with relationships and happiness in mundane joys. Unfortunately for them, [[JumpingOutOfACake the cake contains a clown]]. [[BirthdayPartyGoesWrong There is only one clown in Nevada]].
