* Why was the possibility of just capturing Abu Ahmed never discussed? As he was the only contact between Osama and the rest of the world, removing him would force Osama to take action and reveal himself.
** If Abu Ahmed was captured, Osama would run, rather than stay in a fixed location. If Osama clears out of there, he would have pre-prepared escape routes and would likely be aided by Pakistani military/intelligence services. There's a good chance he would elude observation and capture, and the hunt begins again. Better to let him stay in place, so they can plan and launch an attack at a fixed target instead of playing the hunting game again.
* What are the SOAR operators (pilots if you aren't familiar with the term) doing after they crash-land? They can't be raiding the compound with the commandos, right?
** They likely just took cover and waited for the rest of the raid to be completed and boarded the extraction helicopter.
* When the SEAL operators are collecting all the digital evidence after Geronimo, they're chucking optical and hard disks in trash bags rather haphazardly. Granted they're under extreme time pressure due to the Pakistani air force being inbound (but note that this was apparently a creative license employed by the writers) but aren't they worried about impact damage for the aforementioned vulnerable media? Do real life operators act this way under similar circumstances?
** Hard drives are generally tough enough to handle some rough treatment like that. As long as they're not doing something like crushing them under the wheels of a truck or dumping them in salt water, they should hold up reasonably well.
** What about the optical media? Those [=CDs=] and [=DVDs=] could get scratched to hell or crushed between the hard drives.
