3	*** Maybe he was planning to use their magic in a world-conquering scheme. But alas, because of Miyamoto and his "no stories in Mario games, ever" clause...we won't know the truth.
4	** A certain youtuber came up with a [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGUaaE4Z8dc pretty believable and well-thought out theory]]. The short-answer: In order to build more castles, Bowser chose to kidnap the Sprixie Princessess. This is why some of Bowser's locations look different.
5	* What was with the 8-Bit Luigis?
6	** Advertising/TheYearOfLuigi.
7	* Other than a desire for visual variety out-of-universe, why and how do [[Videogame/SuperMario3DWorld Motley Bossblob]]'s colors change for each encounter? Does he just like to "express himself"? Or are there multiple Motley Bossblobs?
8	* [[WhatHappenedToTheMouse What happened to]] [[spoiler:Meowser's clones]] after the final battle? Did they actually get ''killed'' by [[spoiler:the giant POW block]]?
9	** Probably. ''Your'' clones get killed all the time when using that power-up, after all.
10	* Are the Sprixies [[AlwaysFemale all girls]]?
11	** Probably. No males have been discovered, but people may sometimes wonder, how do the Sprixies propagate?
12	*** My guess? Just like everyone else, Baby Sprixies [[VideoGame/YoshisIsland are delivered by storks]]. That or magical asexual reproduction, and they don't actually have a sex.
13	* How does anything survive in Lake Lapcat between being submerged in that black rage goop, being underwater, and Fury Bowser traveling around submerged?
14	** Back in Mario Sunshine the black goop did the same stuff, reshaping reality and submerging living Piantas and Nokis until Mario freed them. Its Magic Goop, We Don't Have to Explain It. And Bowser is only visiting, the place is probably a paradise otherwise.
15	* Is self-bubbling a canon ability?
16	* This is a very minor headscratcher, but what is up with the red and green hammers that are owned by the Mario Bros.? Appearance wise, they're the same type of hammers wielded by the Sprixie Princesses. Are they special in some way?
