[[AC:Advertising]]
* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kcMeTFHT78Q The Famous Grouse adverts]]. There's just something great about their simplicity.
* Also, for a bit of nostalgia: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZi2og1YQJA&ibss=1 this.]] I never grew up with these commercials, but at the same time, I did. Farfel is adorable, Jimmy Nelson is truly the Dean of American Ventriloquists, and yes, Nestle makes the very best. (CHAWWW-KIT! *snap*)
** [[http://jimmydannyfarfel.com/clips.html And now there's a whole slew of them!]] And they are AWESOME!
* Advertising/{{Volvic}}: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vaaxtxkJqKg HELLO, TYRANNOSAURUS ALAN!]] [[LargeHam I'M FILLING MY WATER WITH VOLCANICITYYY!!!]] I honestly love the George Volcano and Tyrannosaurus Alan Volvic ads. They're just so dang wacky and hilarious. I can still remember the lines perfectly - and frankly, I think it says something about their memorability and effectiveness as ads.

[[AC:Asian Animation]]
* ''Animation/HappyHeroes'' is a charming and silly Chinese animated series that's really worth checking out! You can watch one of the [[UnfinishedDub short-lived]] English dubs on Website/YouTube. The English dub has some flaws, but it's still pretty funny.
* ''Animation/{{Lamput}}'', a dialogue-less series about a shapeshifting blob that EscapedFromTheLab and is on the run from a FatAndSkinny scientist duo, is not well-known in certain places outside of India, particularly the United States. It's a shame, as it's got some simple but charming characters and great animation.
* ''Animation/PleasantGoatAndBigBigWolf'' is also pretty good. It's great how they've improved the animation over time and added in new ideas and stories.

[[AC:Automobiles]]
* The Mitsubishi ASX, launched in 2010. Sure, it looks like an oversized hatchback and [[WordOfGod Mitsubishi say it's a crossover SUV]], but it's tough, resilient, and can take whatever you throw at it. Some people claim it's from Mitsubishi's AudienceAlienatingEra but ignore the claims that Mitsubishis are [[TheAllegedCar unreliable Japanese cars that are dull]]... British owners can attest to this.
* Ford Telstar, 1982-1999, Japanese-Australian-New Zealand built sedan [[IdenticalStranger that's basically a badge-engineered Mazda 626]]. Safe and reliable, and the 2.5 V6 engine is ''good''. The best model: 2.0 GLX sedan, 1993 edition, with the "sun" wheel covers.
* Fiat Regata, 1983-1989. Sure, it's boxy and looks rather dull, but owners have said it ''lasts'', but it's cheap to buy and run, and 1.5 and 1.6 are decent enough. Maroon, blue or black paint suit it well.

[[AC:Eastern Animation]]
* ''Animation/TreasureIsland1988'' might have undergone MemeticMutation in the early 2020's mostly due to the character of [[MemeticBadass Dr. Livesey]], but the two-parter is so much more than a meme. This adaptation of the novel among many manages to stand out thanks to its more comedic tone that still respects the source material, unique reinterpretations of familiar characters that are (mostly) given the AdaptationalBadass treatment, memorable vocal performances from pretty much the entire cast, catchy original music, and most of all its frequently brilliant sequences of animation that warp perspectives in ways not often seen in 2D.

[[AC:Magazines & E-Zines]]
* Ever since ''Cracked'' picked up David Wong as editor, they've gone from a cheap ''Mad'' clone into a genuinely interesting satire site, the sadly-rare form of satire that has something to ''say'', rather than just attacking (or just referencing) everything in sight.
** And Wong's own articles... well, [[http://www.cracked.com/article_15231_7-reasons-21st-century-making-you-miserable.html just]] [[http://www.cracked.com/article_14990_what-monkeysphere.html read]] [[http://www.cracked.com/article_16196_7-commandments-all-video-games-should-obey.html for]] [[http://www.cracked.com/article_16656_6-brainwashing-techniques-theyre-using-on-you-right-now.html yourself]].
** You left out [[http://www.cracked.com/article_15759_10-things-christians-atheists-can-and-must-agree-on.html this one]]. It's an uncommonly well-balanced article on that issue that actually tries to explain what each side is about, rather than trying to convince either one that they're wrong and need to convert to the other.
** ''Cracked'' is an excellent site... I wish more e-zines like that in my country!
* ''Mad'' itself, particularly older iterations. As a history buff, old Mad magazines have taught me lots about the recent past through a satiric lens. Seriously.
* Magazine/NintendoPower is the greatest magazine in existence. Just look at [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GbaFAF7iME this old commercial]] and tell me it's not awesome. Go ahead, I dare you.
* The Style Invitational humorous competition from the Washington Post makes me crack up every time.
* ''Magazine/AmigaPower'' is one of the most entertaining magazines ever made, with its quirky style and refusal to fall into the FourPointScale.
* [[http://www.badassoftheweek.com Badass of the Week]]. Simply the e-zine that saved my life. So full of awesome stories about guys that... well, check for yourself.

[[AC:{{Visual Novel}}s]]
* Anything and everything by [[Franchise/{{Nasuverse}} Kinoko Nasu]], but especially ''VisualNovel/FateStayNight''. Yes, all you do is read, but I DARE YOU not to cry in any of the three routes. There are, on average, three bawling scenes per route, and at least one heartwarming scene. Let's not even start on the crowning moments, as well as the music, of awesome.
* ''VisualNovel/{{Tsukihime}}''. Five routes, amounting to both five different stories, and five different aspects of the overall story, each character-driven and brilliantly reflected by the particular heroine they focus on. The protagonist is profoundly likable and human. Even the much-maligned sex scenes aren't really that bad, viewed from a relationship-building rather than erotic perspective, and the music that accompanies them is nothing short of lovely. Oh, and speaking of, the soundtrack overall is very simple but perfectly atmospheric. Overall, the game's just a wonderful read.
* Oh, gods, ''VisualNovel/KatawaShoujo''. Who could've thought that the brainchild of [[Website/FourChan that image board]], and an {{Eroge}} no less, could be something so... so beautiful. Seriously. [[http://katawa-shoujo.com/download.php Go play it.]]
* ''VisualNovel/NineHoursNinePersonsNineDoors'' most definitely deserves a mention with its interesting puzzles, great characters who all have HiddenDepths, and its extremely twisty plot, comparable to ''VisualNovel/{{Ever17}}'' but without all the fluff.
* Anything from [[Franchise/WhenTheyCry Ryuu]][[Manga/TheUnforgivingFlowersBlossomInTheDeadOfNight Kishi 07]]. His works are scary, cerebral, and overall just highly entertaining.
* If you have to play one VisualNovel, this must be ''VisualNovel/HatofulBoyfriend''. It revolves around pigeon-dating. And it is an awesome game with a full cast of awesome characters. And, as if the very fact that a pigeon-dating simulator exists is not awesome enough on its own, it actually has a story. And a very good story, at that. Prepare to be shocked, amused, scared, and touched - often at the same time.

* [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=at_f98qOGY0&feature=fvw The World Is Just Awesome!]]
* [=TVTropes=].org, I salute you. You are an invaluable and vital resource to my life, you're making me a better writer, and gosh-darn it, you're a hell of a lot of fun, as well.
** The FlameBait revamp has brought back my faith in Website/TVTropes. Everyone who helped at it deserves a badge.
** If TV Tropes was a person, I would trust him as much as I trust my father, maybe more, and I love my dad to bits. Actually, I already ''do'' trust TV Tropes that much, even though it's a wiki. I love you guys; I don't know how I lived without this website, and I only first stumbled upon it five months ago!
*** If TV Tropes was a person, and was female ([[IfItsYouItsOkay okay, even if it were male]]), I'd be totally, completely in love with them and ''definitely'' considering marriage. ♥ I spend way too much time here now and I don't think I've ever been happier with a wiki (sorry, Website/{{Wikipedia}}). Just... every little geeky thing I'm into, you're into it too; you're cool and inviting, as opposed to Wikipedia's increasing uptightness; and you're ''fun''. I love you all. * hugs*
*** If TV Tropes were a person and I weren't asexual I'd do naughty sex-related things to it. If it were a person, I might do that anyway.
*** It's been well over a decade since I wrote the first entry on this bullet, and while there's been a lot of ups and downs, I still love TVT as much as I did in 2008-2010. Thanks to everyone who's kept the wiki going all these years!
** Ladies and gentlemen, may I introduce you to JustForFun/TropeTan?
** Even if [[JustForFun/TVTropesWillRuinYourLife TV Tropes does ruin my life]] and contribute to my falling behind on homework, I still love it anyway.
** The very last words on the home page? Go on, have fun!
** Whenever tropers get so excited about a quote that they PotHole every single line, dissecting it piece by piece, it gives me life.
* I love everyone. Even all the raging nerds on Administrivia/ComplainingAboutShowsYouDontLike.
** If you know where to look, you can actually learn a bit from there. Like stuff about Hideaki Anno too touchy for the main wiki...
** Even if I sorta like WesternAnimation/AvatarTheLastAirbender, it feels good to hear dissenting opinions about it for some reason.
*** Maybe 'cause it assures you that your positive opinion of it is genuine, and not the result of some kind of HiveMind?
** ''EMBRACE MANKIND! LOVE ALL THAT HAS LIFE!''
* If I may point to one page in particular: ''TabletopGame/{{Warhammer 40000}}'': So incredibly good I bought the Fifth Edition rulebook just so that I would be up to date and accurate when editing the article.
** [[TabletopGame/{{Warhammer}} Warhammer Fantasy]], equally as awesome as its sci-fi spin-off. A shame doesn't get as much love on TV Tropes.
* [[http://www.wimp.com/breathtakingballet/ This video]] made this male troper nearly cry. He finally understood what ballet was so popular for. Beauty from grace, Elegance from courage, Awe from passion.
* Lamb of God is by far my favorite band. With every album, they just keep getting better and better. Every member of LoG is very talented with their instruments and they know exactly how to make songs sound brutal yet aesthetically pleasing. They are original, talented, and most importantly, they sound great. They are the exact opposite of everything I hate about the music industry today. Lamb of God Forever!!!
* The Internet. ''Everything'' about it. Sometimes I fantasize about being able to speak to a person 30 years ago just so that I can tell him every single thing that is awesome about the Internet.
* [[http://awesomepeoplehangingouttogether.tumblr.com/ Awesome People Hanging Out Together]].

[[AC:Games]]
* ''TabletopGame/KillerBunniesAndTheQuestForTheMagicCarrot''. I could play it all night. My family could play it all night. My ''extended'' family could play it all night. It never gets boring, the game is never the same twice, and even when you feel like it might you have the option to completely change the game around with an expansion pack or even your own imagination. It quenches my thirst for the arbitrary so I have the time to make the rest of my life a bit more orderly and sensible. In a nutshell, it keeps me from driving everyone around me to insanity.
* Freeze tag. 'Nuff said.

[[AC:Toys]]
* The Jazwares Sonic line. They paid attention to every single detail of the characters. They are even doing Mighty the Armadillo, a character who has not been seen in over a decade.
* Franchise/{{LEGO}}'s Toys/{{Bionicle}} line. It has an incredibly complex backstory that literally cannot be placed within a single genre, characters that leap out at you, whether in plastic, written words, comic book pages, or tv screens, and a head-writer (Greg Farshtey) who is unbelievably devoted to his work.
** Plus the toys are just amazing to collect and build. Seriously, they were like the best franchise LEGO ever made.
* LEGO's [[Toys/LEGOMinifigures Minifigures]] line is a treasure trove of unique figures that work great alone or as inspiration for bigger projects.
* Hasbro's Franchise/MarvelUniverse line of 3.75-inch figures. They're on the same scale as the Franchise/GIJoe figures, meaning that you can get some of the [[RuleOfCool craziest crossovers yet]]. Wanna see ComicBook/CaptainAmerica and Snake-Eyes teaming up against Cobra and the Red Skull? Now you most certainly can.
* No love for transformers? D:
* Novi Stars. It is a very unique line (at least as far as the basic concept goes, because there's not that many doll lines with a premise like that of Novi Stars), and the characters' themes/designs are interesting, visually appealing, and absolutely adorable. Not to mention the characters themselves are all cute in their own ways.
* Toys/MonsterHigh and Toys/EverAfterHigh are surprisingly high-quality toys, with great articulation, detailed designs, and concepts that frequently [[ShownTheirWork show their work]], and very likable characters. In the case of the former, the toy challenges typical gender roles by successfully selling freaky monsters to girls, and in the latter, the themes of the plot are heavy and intelligent.
* Folkmanis puppets have been around for a while, and they're always great. The materials used are high quality, and the puppets' designs are very charming while often quite realistic. Many of them have clever features to manipulate as well.
* Hasbro's Star Wars Black Series figures, which have excellent articulation and molding, and ever-improving sculpts and paint jobs that make them accessible toys but also highly displayable nerd-shrine collector's pieces.

%% No, seriously, this bit below is MUCH funnier with nothing else added. Trust us on this.

[[AC:Meta]]
* This page is awesome. ''This'' is what I like to think of when I think of [[Website/TVTropes this wiki]] - people coming together to celebrate their superlative shows, not bitch about them endlessly.
* Since this is the SugarWiki/SugarWiki, the COLOR PINK, [[RealMenWearPink it's so freaking manly!]]

[[AC:Meta Meta]]
** ''That comment'' is awesome.

[[AC:Meta Meta Meta]]
*** No, ''you're'' awesome. You're ''all'' awesome. Let's hug! This bit makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

%% That's enough on the Meta's. The comedy rhythm is good, more will wreck it. RuleOfThree
%%
%% No seriously, good effort, but this is still better.
%% Then again, everyone loves a good OverlyLongGag.
