2	* Why did Shizuko, the railway ghost, end up sparing Momoko? In the original she was pretty much set of killing Momoko out of spite despite everyone's pleas until Leo apologies and takes responsibility for disturbing her (offering to take all her grudges). Afterwards she chooses to teleport Leo and Momoko to the side of the tracks so they wouldn't get run over. When Momoko recounts the story of why the ring was in the taxi, she notes that Shizuko was nearly dead (implying she might've been saved with urgent care) except the Taxi driver saw her injuries and became afraid of taking responsibility. Leo's offer to take her wrath and accept justice for disturbing her (since it was really him who was at fault not Momoko) probably inspired the ghost to punish the person who actually harmed her, not just random taxi drivers like in the beginning.

4	* Whatever happened to the one shot ghost victims we see during the prologue sequences, or sometimes in the middle of the episode? Sure we are told a few times that someone got sick or was too scared to say anything. But come to think of it, we never really SEE them again, and quite a few times, it seems VERY unlikely that the victim actually survived. Made even scarier by the fact that nobody seems to care too much. Lampshaded in the Dub with Hajime offhandedly saying Keita (the victim of the week) died and it not being brought up again.
5	** Turns out not to be the case with Keita specifically. He's seen again in the finale along with a lot of other one shot characters, thus confirming his (at least in the original version) survival.
6	* In Episode 11, Hajime does a SuperWindowJump to save Satsuki from [[CreepyDoll Merry Mary]]...[[TheCavalryArrivesLate after the doll has spared Satsuki's life and left.]] His head then starts bleeding because he [[AmusingInjuries crashed through glass.]] It's PlayedForLaughs...but if he had dove in a few minutes earlier, he would be bleeding profusely ''and'' powerless to stop the dolls from ripping his friend to shreds.
7	* In Episode 13, once the Da Vinci ghost finishes a painting, the girl he paints is sucked into his painting forever. Amanojaku states outright that the victims ''never'' come back. Sure enough, we never see any of the half-a-dozen victims freed. Even the gag dub can't get around how insane a power that is.
8	** To be fair though, it's possible that when Da Vinci was banished in the original timeline (before Satsuki and Hajime time travelled), the spirits were freed from the paintings. We do see as Da Vinci is defeated in the episode some sort of spiritual energy attaches from him to his paintings (including the one he made of Momoko).
9	** Also, also Momoko better avoid allowing herself to be painted apparently because that will unleash a ghost.
10	* In Episode 17, Yuki's death by drowning occurred because she spent a lot of time by the lake waiting for her mother (who abandoned her) to come back. However, no one actually saw her drown and she doesn't really describe how she fell in, focusing instead on her bitter feelings of loneliness as she died. It's a stretch, but it's possible she jumped in on purpose in hopes of getting attention from someone. Momoko comments in the original that it seems like "quite some time passed before Yuki was found in the lake", implying she was waiting for a while
11	** Also the translation of the headline for the article for Yuki's death says "Another Tragedy At Vacation Spot", implying Yuki wasn't even the first person who died there. So maybe she did actually fall in because safety precautions weren't all there.
12	** It’s also ambiguous whether or not Yuki came back because of her own bitterness/regret or whether or not it’s a property of the lake. Yuki explains in the original that the legend goes those who die in that lake are said to wish to come back to take another with then. Although she is an UnreliableNarrator, she’s not the only one who calls it the Bloodstained lake since Miyuki uses that term too. Then again, it’s still unclear if the lake was haunted before Yuki died or not
