2* When they were spacewalking along a rotating strut outside their ship it seemed like they should be flung off into space due to centrifugal effects, or at least be holding on much harder. Fridge Brilliance is the realization that they were actually on the non-rotating portion of the ship with the antennas and solar panels, the only part of the ship that could get the wide angle shots shown would be the cameras mounted on the arm holding the crew section which was spun up at the time, making it look like the astronauts were on the spinning section from the cameras point of view.

5It's hard to notice at first, but the BittersweetEnding is more terrifying when you realize that the in-universe makers of the film ''intentionally'' made sure to edit it to have an uplifting ending. [[spoiler: A bunch of people died and the financiers of the mission want you to feel good about it the next time they ask for money.]]
