* You may have noticed that Drew is going prematurely bald despite his age. Why is this? Well, not only is it possibly hereditary due to Grandpa Lou's current state of affairs, but look at who his daughter ''is''. Is it any wonder why he took to the sidelines and let Charlotte take things over in terms of raising their daughter, barely saying a word?
* Tommy's an aspiring filmmaker, and Stu comments he had been using cameras since a very early age. This is actually a clever CallBack to the Rugrats' second Christmas special, 'Babies in Toyland', where Tommy's gift (that he receives from Angelica of all people) is precisely a small camera that really works.
** The film competition episode also shows snippets from home movies Tommy made when he was a toddler as well. Perhaps it's the same camera?
** One who is familiar with the series might note as well that while Tommy is usually the leader while they were babies, much of his ideas and preconceptions came from movies he had seen, from Reptar to "Okey Dokey Jones" and the like? Even from a very young age, movies have been an inspiration to him!
* Another clever CallBack is in the episode, "Real, or Robots?". Tommy is convinced that his dad is a robot, when he's actually sleepwalking from the stress of working too much. Well, the ''All Grown Up'' episode, "Thief Encounter", shows that sleepwalking apparently runs in the Pickles family as Tommy himself is shown to be sleepwalking later in his life whilst under stress.
** Adding to that, in the ''All Grown Up'' episode, "River Rats", Tommy is revealed to be aquaphobic. Well, when you look at episodes like "Down the Drain", "The Big Flush", and to an extent, "Beach Blanket Babies", and "Sand Ho!" from the previous series, it's no wonder he'd develop a fear with all the bad experiences he's had around a body of water!
* Another case of a personality change is with Lil. Unlike her brother, who could be regarded as the only character to have changed the least out of the group over time, always tried to assert her independence. There were hints of this in the ''Rugrats'' series.
** "Twins' Pique" portrayed Lil as the one who was bothered most by their parents not being able to tell them apart, and going so far as to steal their dad's calculator and throw it in the mud in a desperate attempt for individuality. While she ''was'' acting like Angelica, she made it clear that she was doing this for ''that'' reason and ''not'' because it was something anyone expected Angelica to do.
** There's also the episode "The Perfect Twins", which shows their relatives, Smedley and Hedley, acting prim, proper, and all around "perfect". While Phil states that he doesn't want to be "perfect" and would rather remain his usual messy and disorderly self, it's Lil that wants to be different.
* Why are so many characters, especially Tommy's, personalities drastically different between this, ''Rugrats'', and ''All Growed Up''? Most people aren't the same as age 1 as they are at 11. People mature and experience new things. ''All Growed Up'' was in the babies' imaginations and what they wanted to be as kids. While it's sad to see Tommy go from being so bold and adventurous to being, well, 'normal' it makes sense.
** To be fair though, it makes sense to why he wants to be a film maker; he's STILL imaginative, but he's just more mature and is able to put his imagination to good use instead of getting into more potential problems with it. Plus as mentioned above, he's always been a movie buff since he was a toddler.
* When Chuckie is caught eavesdropping on Z and his dad about the "hopefully the cops won't show", neither of the latter two takes it badly. A hint that what they're doing isn't illegal and therefore nothing they wouldn't want to be overheard talking about.
** It's later said that Z likes cultivating a bad boy image because he's shy about his intelligence and sensitivity. It's possible he speaks in code like that for fun. After all, he is 11.
* Angelica is an advice columnist, which is perfectly in line with her ''Rugrats'' self. She always tried to boss the babies around, and liked playing the 'wise older kid' figure in her own way.

* "Susie Sings The Blues". Susie gets conned out of $1000, but rather than immediately head home, she sits there alone on the park bench until night falls, all the while wearing something that is pretty revealing by itself. Did it ever occur to her what could have happened while she was there all alone?
** That's pretty much what Alisa says.
--> "A lot worse could have happened to you than simply losing $1000. Think about it."
* Z turned out to be a nice guy after all at the end of "Bad Kimi", but what if he ''wasn't?'' Keep in mind that Kimi was accompanying him at night, possibly way after curfew, and quite possibly without permission or knowledge about it from her parents.
** She did say they should trust her judgment. Presumably, she knows the difference between real bad boys and those who are just playing the part.
** Plus she got to know him during school before she went anywhere at night with him.
** The reason her parents didn't know was because they were prejudiced against Z without bothering to find anything else about him.
** And she was hardly going anywhere alone with him. His dad was there too, along with a bunch of other charity workers. Maybe Z's dad called Chaz or Kira (who seems like she'd be more reasonable) to say that Kimi wanted to help out. When she comes into the coffee house, she says she'll be helping a friend with something later, and Chaz doesn't object. Chuckie pointedly doesn't check with his parents before jumping the gun.
* The episode where Dil gets a tape of an Alien Autopsy. He steals it from a tenth-grader, who visits him at the end of the episode to beat ''Tommy'' in his place. What's more, Grandpa Lou and Boris [[PapaWolf come out to confront the bully]], who not only is not intimidated by them, but is actually preparing to ''[[WouldHarmASenior beat them up too]].'' He only backs off when they gross him out to scare him away. Clearly unhinged, violent, AND he knows where Dil and Tommy lives. What's to say he won't pay them a visit again soon once Lou and Boris have left?
* When Charlotte is bemoaning being kicked out of her company, one thing she says is “I know where the bodies are buried!” Let's hope she was being metaphorical.
