7	''Maximum Overdrive'' is a 1986 horror film written and directed by Creator/StephenKing, based on his short story "Literature/{{Trucks}}" from the ''Literature/NightShift'' collection (other stories from which were adapted into ''Film/CatsEye'', which was also produced by Creator/DinoDeLaurentiis). The same short story was later adapted into a MadeForTVMovie in 1997.
