* [[MeanBoss Director Ton]] from ''Anime/{{Aggretsuko}}'' is a fat, sexist pig ([[VisualPun literally]]) who goes out of his way to bully Retsuko while she's at work. [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold He does have a soft side]] that comes up in moments of stress or drunkenness, but most of the time Ton revels in his status as TheBully and makes sure everyone under him knows it.
* The giants from ''Manga/AttackOnTitan'' often show a predisposition towards being fairly pudgy, including at least one who may be wider than it is tall (and that's [[AttackOfTheFiftyFootWhatever saying something]]).
** Also the nobleman who was playing chess with Dot Pixis, and demanded that he make preparations to defend his lands rather than go to the front, saying that it was the job of the troops to be killed distracting the Titans.
** And the merchant who holds up the evacuation of Trost by demanding that a cart that was too wide for the gate should be given priority over the people. [[spoiler: Subverted during the Royal Government arc, where he defects to the Scouts, at the cost of his own life. His son, who is similarly pudgy, continues to help and manages to survive.]]
* Nakai in ''Manga/{{Bakuman}}'' used to be sympathetic despite being overweight. But then he TookALevelInJerkAss and starts being manipulative once success starts going to his head, which disgusts the woman he viewed as his love interest. He ultimately gets PutOnABus and moves back home with his mother. [[spoiler:By the time he returns from his bus trip, he's even more overweight, has an even more repulsive personality and is currently working with the current antagonist of the series.]]
* In ''BambiAndHerPinkGun'', King Grabba is a grotesquely fat…rock star with hordes of screaming female fans who carry signs to his concerts that say things like "Rape me." To help you figure him out, he's an evil version of Elvis Presley at the height of his decline, and he savagely beats the women who come to see him backstage, instead of, you know, having sex with them. Oh, and when fans tell them they love him, he responds with "I love me, too!"
* Taikon from the fourth ''Manga/{{Bleach}}'' movie.
* ''Anime/CaptainHarlock'': Mayu's SadistTeacher is a FatBitch who regularly torments her over her association with Captain Harlock. To get her to contact Harlock and demand he return to Earth, she has Mayu mop the floors of St. Giovanna's, and to break her further, has the other kids deliberately dirty them. Mayu doesn't give up, making her very angry.
* ''Manga/CaseClosed''
** In a filler episode in there's a fat bitch named Michie Uemori. She's a famous chef who crapped '''big''' time on four of her disciples [[note]](stole her childhood friend's boyfriend and married him without second thoughts; refused to help her daughter-in-law when she was a victim of DomesticAbuse; stole her best female pupil's recipes and made them pass as her own; denied economic support to her best male student)[[/note]] and still treats them all like shit. [[spoiler: And usurprisingly, she becomes the AssholeVictim.]]
** Akira Sumida from the "Timeless Sakura Love" was a fat pawn shop owner, feared and hated for also doubling as a completely heartless and selfish LoanShark, willing to do things like [[spoiler: stealing a valious ring that someone pawned when in a desperate situation and then lie about having sold it ''while she's wearing it'']], [[spoiler: trick another person into buying an antique plate in 500.000 yens when in reality it's just a cat's plate worth less than 1000]], and [[spoiler: trying to force a person in debt to sign a life insurance policy so she'd kill him and get money from it]]. [[spoiler:And then, [[KarmicDeath the last one]] [[AssholeVictim backfired TERRIBLY]].]]
* ''Manga/CrazyFoodTruck'': [[FromCamouflageToCriminal Colonel Diego]], whose men have taken over Blue Lake City, is a very fat man and a cruel overlord.
* Subverted with the Millennium Earl in ''Manga/DGrayMan'', he's slim underneath the suit he wears.
* In ''Manga/DeathNote'', there's Demegawa, the corrupt TV producer and presenter. His greed and corruptness make one of Light's plans fail. Moreover, as Kira grows in power and influence, he throws himself wholeheartedly into the role of ProfessionalButtKisser when it becomes clear who's in charge.
* ''Manga/{{Doraemon}}''
** Gian from the main cast can fall under this trope ''depending'' on the medium. In the original manga he's Nobita's class bully who delights in stealing toys, picking on his fellow classmates (even his so-called "best friend" Suneo, who follows Gian around due to being a suck-up), and more than once beats up Nobita for "looking at him the wrong way". And it's not just limited to physical beatings - an issue have Gian getting angry at Nobita and deciding to ''forbid anyone else from making friends'' with the latter, or suffer a beatdown. Much of the original series revolves around Gian getting into increasingly humiliating situations as result of his bullying ways as a KarmicButtMonkey. Later adaptations like the 2005 reboot and ''Manga/DoraemonsLongTales'' would instead give Gian some AdaptationalNiceGuy treatment, where he's a huge guy with a hot temper but at least he won't actively pick on the other kids, is rather chummy with his pals when in a good mood and mostly depicted as a BoisterousBruiser.
** From outside the TV series:
*** ''Anime/DoraemonNobitasDinosaur'': Dolmanstein, the futuristic billionaire running the [[EvilPoacher Dinosaur Hunters]] and a RichJerk who's obsessed with collecting taxidermized dinosaurs. When he had his sights on Nobita's pet ''Futubasaurus'', Piisuke, he doesn't even hesitate sending his mooks to menace the gang.
*** ''Anime/DoraemonTheRecordOfNobitaSpaceblazer'': Borgant, the overweight CorruptCorporateExecutive running the Gartite Mining Corporation, who bullies the citizens of Planet Koya Koya into surrendering their land to him, and even attempts blowing up the whole planet leading to untold amounts of collateral damage while enriching himself in the process. Much of the entire movie have Doraemon and Nobita - after becoming friends with the citizens of Koya Koya - trying to stop Borgant's operations.
*** ''Anime/DoraemonNobitaAndTheHauntsOfEvil'' (and it's remake) has Chancellor Daburanda of Bauwan (a kingdom of sentient dog-people), a BullyBulldog who [[TheUsurper usurps the throne]] and had their lawful prince, Kuntakku, captured alive, sealed into a casket and thrown into the Zambezi River, before enforcing an atrocious rule on the kingdom and forcing their citizens to re-construct the forbidden war machines of ancient Bauwan to wage war on the outside world. Kuntakku eventually made it to Japan, gets adopted by Nobita (who mistook Kuntakku to be a real dog) and later the gang goes on an adventure to help Kuntakku overthrow Daburanda. The film's remake notably have Daburanda being jeered by hundreds and hundreds of angry citizens and released slaves in the final scene.
*** ''Anime/DoraemonNobitaAndTheIslandOfMiraclesAnimalAdventure'' have Sherman, another overweight futuristic billionaire and RichJerk running a group of {{Evil Poacher}}s (and a SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute to Dolmanstein above), who wants to hijack the exotic prehistoric life on the island for himself. He's also a BadBoss who berates his mooks for ''fleeing from a saber-toothed tiger'' and a gigantic {{Manchild}} who's portrayed to be far less likeable than Dolmanstein.
* ''Franchise/DragonBall'':
** Fat Buu from ''Anime/DragonBallZ'' is an inversion; while [[PsychopathicManchild fat and childish]], [[ObliviouslyEvil he is not intentionally cruel]] and, in the end, winds up [[HeelFaceTurn as one of the good guys]]. But on the way there he becomes steadily more evil, and at the same time less fat; first, when his BerserkButton is pressed, the evil side of him manifests in a gaunt form that literally consumes the original, which then becomes the trim-but-buff Super Buu, evil but with a sense of purpose and a tiny germ of honor, which eventually becomes half-pint Kid Buu, who's just an OmnicidalManiac going on pure instinct, when Fat Buu is ripped from Super Buu's being.
** Dodoria is a straight example, being a morbidly obese and disgusting psychopath who seems to be one of Frieza's cruelest soldiers. He takes a lot of sadistic glee out of killing Namekians while hunting for their Dragon Balls, and is all too happy to murder children as well.
** Champa, Universe 6's God of Destruction from ''Anime/DragonBallSuper'' is the obese brother of the LeanAndMean Beerus of Universe 7, and is every bit as petty, gluttonous, and childish as he is. In a twist of fate he's actually a lot more polite and less prone to destroying worlds for the smallest offenses, but he still has his nasty moments here and there: a standout example being him attempting to kill his entire team as punishment for losing to Universe 7's team after a tournament with a wicked grin on his face, only to be stopped by the timely arrival of [[TheDreaded Zeno]].
** Universe 10's God of Destruction [[CruelElephant Rumsshi]] has a prominent gut, and is a massive asshole. Whether he's being rude to his Kai Gowasu, showing no gratitude for Goku and Beerus saving his life, or smacking his warriors around for losing in the Tournament of Power, he's definitely among the more unpleasant gods in the series.
* Averted with Kurita from ''Manga/{{Eyeshield 21}}'', who is both one of the heaviest characters in the series and [[GentleGiant one of the nicest]]. This aversion only strengthens as the series goes on, where Kurita proves to everyone that he's also one of the TOUGHEST, most respected linemen in the whole world.
* Count Borghen in ''Manga/FinalFantasyLostStranger'' is a portly and power-hungry Mysidian noble who only looks out for himself. He has no qualms with using slave labor for his own ends and supports terrorists' efforts to topple the Mysidian royal family to install himself in a position of power. So no one mourns when Cindy plucks out his eyes and nearly kills him to gain access to Holy and avenge herself and her sisters, and he's only saved by Sharuru's compassion and timely healing.
* ''Manga/FistOfTheNorthStar'' had a lot of fat characters, but several truly stand out. The most famous of them is Mr. Heart, who is ten feet tall, and so fat that if you punch him 'your fist gets stuck up to the elbow.' He is famous for being the first villain to present a challenge and actually do damage to the main hero. Then there's Galf, who looks like an evil version of Mr. Weatherbee from Archie comics, who is obsessed with his dogs. The second series includes Geira, an obese Jabba the Hutt-esque man who hypnotizes people, and Gyoko, a man so fat that he sinks into the ground when he walks.
* Haruka Nishiharu from ''Manga/GirlsSaurus'', until she's forced go through a miracle diet. She still remains a pretty violent {{Tsundere}} afterwards.
* The Major from ''Manga/{{Hellsing}}'' is more chubby than obese, but he's still very much a bastard.
* [[DepravedHomosexual Captain Continental]] in ''Anime/LegendOfTheBlueWolves''.
* Averted in ''Manga/TheLuciferAndBiscuitHammer''. While Shimaki is fat, he is very smart, competent, and probably the most valuable member of the group he's in. The fact that he is fat is barely even addressed in the series since it's just a physical characteristic and not part of his personality.
* [[GeneralRipper General Regius Gaiz]] of ''Anime/MagicalGirlLyricalNanohaStrikers'', though his portrayed evil traits of power-hungriness and petty jealousy turned out to have stemmed from [[WellIntentionedExtremist well-intentioned reasons that sort of got overblown]] when he rose in power and got manipulated [[OmniscientCouncilOfVagueness by the people who saw him as a useful puppet]]. One [[http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z45/thekrazycow/StrikerS_nano/strikers_nano161.png 4koma strip]], based around the scene at the end of Episode 23 when Zest confronts him with a picture of the two and asks what happened to the justice he hoped to pursue, has Zest also ask what happened to his muscles.
* ''Anime/HelloSandybell'': Eva Longwood knows Sandybell is an orphan but still treats her poorly. She also takes advantage of the fact that her mother shares her disdain for Sandybell and they work together to make her life a living hell. She's the Fat to Sandybell's [[FatAndSkinny skinny]].
* Somewhat subverted in ''Manga/NausicaaOfTheValleyOfTheWind'', with the males of the Torumekian royal family. They're all grotesquely fat and initially somewhat villainous, but all of them show themselves capable of goodness near the end of the story, except for the one who got eaten by a giant bug before he had the chance to be redeemed like the others.
* ''Manga/OnePiece'':
** One of these was a Commodore of the Marines and a Filler Villain in the Dragon Filler Arc, who was so morbidly obese that he could hardly move on his own. So far, he's been the only high-ranking Marine officer to not have [[AsskickingLeadsToLeadership asskicking skills to back up his rank]] (though he did, at least, have the intelligence…well, at least as far as catching pirates goes). And he was constantly shown eating huge piece of meat after huge piece of meat.
** Alvida described herself as the most beautiful marauder on the ocean, in spite of being roughly spherical and having a terrible attitude. But she only fits this for her first appearance; the next time we see her, not only has she mellowed out, she's eaten the Sube Sube no Mi (Smooth-Smooth Fruit, which removes all friction from the consumer's skin so that weapons, projectiles, and hands slide right off of them; the effects apparently also extend to fat), and has consequently lost so much weight that she's not even recognizable as the same character any longer; she [[SuspiciouslySpecificDenial goes out of her way]] to mention that the only difference in her appearance since Luffy last met her is that her acne has cleared up.
** Wapol may be the best example of this in the series. His father was the king of Drum Kingdom, and was a benevolent ruler. And as much as he was benevolent, Wapol was proud, ruthless, selfish, a downright {{Jerkass}}, and above all, gluttonous to the extent of being an ExtremeOmnivore, due to his Baku Baku no Mi (Munch-Munch Fruit) powers. One of his most notable acts during his rule was to ban all doctors from the country—which was ''renowned'' for its excellent medical experts—except for 20 that served him exclusively; his subjects would have to grovel at his feet to get medical care. Ah, yes, and when pirates attacked his island, instead of attempting to defend them, he, his CoDragons, and his servants fled the island. He came back a year later…only to become a TwinkleInTheSky thanks to Luffy.
** Yama from the Skypiea arc is the highest ranking man in Enel's army aside from his [[CoDragons four priests]]. Extremely fat, extremely sadistic, and extremely nimble; he fights by throwing his weight around on his foes, and it proves very effective.
*** Satori to a lesser extent. He's fat, he's sadistic, he's antagonistic towards the Straw Hats, and he even gets the upper hand on them for a while, but as soon as he accidentally lets his guard down, he's taken out in one shot. The same goes for his younger brothers, Hotori and Kotori, who attempt to avenge his defeat against some of the other Straw Hats.
** Machvise of the Donquixote Pirates. He was bulky several years before canon began, but in the Dressrosa arc, he fits this to a T. Cruel and merciless in combat, and empowered with the Ton-Ton Fruit besides; he's basically a much more threatening version of Yama.
* Subverted in ''Anime/{{Paprika}}'' The enormously fat Tokita is suggested to be something of a ManChild, as well as a comically ridiculous overeater who gets stuck in narrow passageways. However, he's also brilliant and, unusually enough, [[spoiler: gets the girl.]]
* ''Anime/PrimitiveBoyRyu'': [[TheDreaded Tyranno]] a bit on the tubby side, which looks comical despite the fact that he's a TerrifyingTyrannosaur whi murdered Ryu's adoptive mother and exterminated all of Kiba's clan.
* ''Manga/SPYxFAMILY'': Murdoch Swan is a large man and very unpleasant to be around, treating people like dirt and makes sweet little Anya cry just for the pleasure of it.
* Few would argue that anyone in the ''Franchise/YuGiOh'' franchise qualifies for this Trope more than Takasu, the corpulent prison warden from ''Anime/YuGiOh5Ds'' and one of the sleaziest characters in the show. Among the unpleasant tropes that could be applied to him were TheBully, PoliticallyIncorrectVillain, BadLiar, SoreLoser, and CheatersNeverProsper. (''And'' he has a bad habit of picking his nose, one of the few things American fans did ''not'' mind the dub editing out.) In fact, he was such scum [[spoiler: that his boss (Rex Godwin, the BigBad of the first season), was disgusted with him, and fired him after his brutal treatment of inmates became known.]]
