20	* Comments: Excellently well-written, and the characters are true to the original film. The plot is nicely paced, and it's interesting to see the one emotion Jack knows about yet doesn't seem to feel in the movie -- fear -- used without overdoing it. One of my favorites! Completed fic.

DarkerAndEdgier then the movie, yet done right. Oh, and [[Film/ReturnToOz Mombi]] is a villain alongside Oogie Boogie. The author also has some really good fan art to check out as well. Unfortunately, this seems to be a DeadFic.

The characterzation is spot-on for the canonial characters and well-written for the new ones. This fic is only one of the few to explore how the other holiday leaders would react to Jack's Christmas fiasco, and the author handles the holiday leaders' mistrust of Jack well.

They're not even ''supposed'' to be out this Halloween as a punishment for a prank that went too far, and it's their antics being blamed on the Scarecrow (who has his own scheme) that kicks off the plot, and eventually brings the Master of Fright in confrontation to the Master of Fear. Well worth a read.
