Also included is the Aftermath show, hosted by two contestants that didn't make the cut for the season, and even there, drama is present. Alejandro, Amy, B, Beardo, Beth, Bridgette, Dawn, DJ, Geoff, Jo, Lightning, Sammy, Scarlett, Shawn, Sierra, and Topher compete this season, while Sam and Dakota host the Aftermath.

The season also contains shuffled mixes of songs featured in the canon season, and original songs written by the author. Three teams are made, one contestant quits under unusual circumstances, and more love triangles emerge. The Aftermath also reappears, and Blaineley is around to cause trouble.

The campers compete in dangerous challenges while avoiding the island's mutated wildlife. One camper gets involved in a conflict with the mutant shark named Fang, two campers express interest in each other, and three campers look to take the competition by storm. Contestants from the first three seasons also appear in cameos.
