6	The first story in the series, A New Chance at Life, was started in Feb. 16th 2010 and completed on May 26th 2011. The story starts at the end of [[Anime/PokemonHeroes Movie #5]], where [[OlympusMons Latios']] HeroicSacrifice is averted, so now the dragon is very much alive. Out of gratitude and a desire for adventure, Latios and his sister Latias decide to join Ash on his adventure. The story covers the remainder of Ash's journey's through the Johto Region (based on the author's [[WildMassGuessing belief regarding the location of Alto Mare]]), up until the conclusion of the Silver Conference and its immediate aftermath. It ends with a SequelHook leading up to our heroes' adventures in the Hoenn Region. The author has since rewritten chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 24 in order to improve the quality of writing within those chapters.

To put that in perspective, Giovanni is more afraid of dealing with a kid ''not thirteen years of age'' then with infiltrating another criminal enterprise.

Narrative-wise, this is evidenly done to give Latios a chance to shine and prove he's nearly a GameBreaker for the unprepared. YMMV on whether this is a good thing or not.
