This time around, Bakugo could not care less about his schooling and cares much more about his friendship with Deku. As a result, his relationship with other people at his middle school is much worse. He is bullied, many kids think he and Deku are dating and call them homophobic slurs, and the teachers are convinced Bakugo will become a villain because he is a "problem child". It's so bad that many are glad when "that villain" tests out and insult him for it, infuriating Midoriya.

16	** Bakugo purposely trains with Midoriya in places Eraserhead frequents so they meet Aizawa when they are eight. He sees the potential in both of them and agrees to train them to become heroes.

He still wakes up only two weeks later in time for the sports festival. Somewhat subverted as he struggles to walk and needs Tensei’s help to get to U.A and after a couple of hours he has to rest to recover his energy.

Midoriya calls Aizawa and Aizawa finds Bakugo on the edge of a building. Aizawa thinks he was about to jump, but in reality Bakugo went there to think and began crying when he realized he never got to marry Kirishima and would never get the chance.
81	* MustMakeAmends: After The Sports Festival Midnight resigns from her position as a hero and a teacher and plans to retake the necessary exams since she feels as though she doesn’t deserve to be a hero in the state she is in now.

And I don’t want it to seem like the only reason I’m facing consequences is that I’m being forced to. I’m resigning, as a teacher and as a hero. 122	* WhenSheSmiles: Being surrounded by all of his friends after they cheered him on during the obstacle race causes Todoroki to break out a small rare smile, making his friends do a double take
123	* YourApprovalFillsMeWithShame: After Midnight uses her quirk to sedate Katsuki and ties him to the pole for the award ceremony of the Sports Festival the general public is split on whether this is the right choice of action. The people that are on Midnight’s side are also calling for Katsuki’s expulsion and placing the entirety of the blame on him. Which is something Midnight can’t get behind as even she knows she was at least partially in the wrong.
