''Toon City, Oklahoma'' is a Fanfic Series by [[https://www.fanfiction.net/u/6046326/ Mitchell Movie Productions]], AKA: [[https://www.deviantart.com/bearquarter2008 Bearquarter2008]]. Who is well known on Deviantart for his work on the "Bearquarter's Toy Story" trilogy.

The author combines the universes of Creator/CartoonNetwork, Creator/DisneyXD, [[SaturdayMorningCartoon some Saturday Morning Cartoons we grew up with,]] Creator/DreamWorksAnimation and Creator/{{Nickelodeon}} as well as a few other outside sources and original material, and places them in a town called Toon City, a fictional small Oklahoma town, and places the main kids in either everyday situations, or in situations in which one wouldn't normally see them in in their original shows, for example, [[WesternAnimation/TheAdventuresOfJimmyNeutronBoyGenius Jimmy Neutron]] [[https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13472491/1/Death-of-an-Idol-Impact-of-a-Legacy taking up Superman's mantle to honor]] his late idol's legacy, or [[WesternAnimation/Beetlejuice Lydia Deetz]] dealing with and living with a bunch of clones of herself, no thanks to Beetlejuice. Either way, the characters hang out with each other and go off on either realistic adventures or whacky and zany adventures. While some of the cast remains more or less the same as their original counterparts, some characters were given added depth to their personalities to the author's liking.

The author came up with this while making a parody of the Spongebob episode, "Band Geeks", which can be read [[https://www.deviantart.com/bearquarter2008/art/Band-Geeks-565679571 here]]. Since then, he's been trying to start up his series, and after a while, he was able to get started with the series, which is slowly getting viewers.

!!''Toon City, Oklahoma'' provides examples of:

* AdaptationalBadass: Danny Phantom in this fanfic series has gone from "Spider-Man but with Ghosts" to being more or less similar to Batman, sporting a different suit, and being able to take down criminals with or without his ghost powers.
* AdaptationalBackstoryChange: This applies to two different heroes:
** Jimmy Neutron: He invents because he wants to be like his idol, ComicBook/{{Superman}}, he wants to use his gifted intelligence and inventing skills for the greater good. But when Doomsday and Superman fight and die, Jimmy feels that he needs to honor Superman's legacy.
** Danny Phantom: While Danny gets his powers in a different way, once he loses his friends and parents due to his enemy killing them, Danny becomes more vigilant, violent and vengeful.
* AdaptationalHeroism: As stated above, the characters are either changed slightly or significantly from the characters we all have seen on television or streaming services. One example is Jimmy Neutron, due to the fact that we never had a backstory on why he invents. In this world, Jimmy looks up to Superman and Jimmy uses his inventions to try to help the world so he could be a hero like him when he grows up. He starts to feel silly about his dreams when he screws up whenever it comes to inventing, feeling inadequate to his idols. But once he feels the need to take up the mantle of the Man of Steel, he tries to do the best he can to be a hero, so no one forgets what Superman represented even after his battle with Doomsday.
* AdaptationalVillainy: This may be applied to for ''WesternAnimation/XiaolinShowdown Jack Spicer'' when the Author decided to have Jack Spicer more villainous and threatening than his ''LighterandSofter Light-hearted'' Counterpart.
* BigBrotherInstinct: After the above-mentioned villain killed Sam and Tucker, this is the reason why Danny Phantom doesn't let her little sister, Danielle, help with crime-fighting, fearing she may be killed if she wasn't careful.
* MassiveMultiplayerCrossover: In case you've forgotten already, read above.
* OtherMeAnnoysMe: This is applied towards Lydia's Clones in "Splitting Lyds". They behave more energetic and more childlike that Lydia, much to her annoyance.
* {{Parody}}: The series will have one shot shorts that parody other shows as well.
* RelatedInTheAdaptation:
** Penny Peterson and Cindy Vortex were from two different films/shows, and the author decided to make them sisters, meaning that Cindy's actual parents from the Jimmy Neutron universe are, in this reality, her Aunt and Uncle.
** It has been hinted by the author that Lydia is the niece of Doctor Strange.
** A [[VideoGame/BackyardSports certain pair of twins]] has been hinted at being related to Iron Man as his nieces.
** The author has revealed that Jimmy's mom will be the sister of Lyle Lanley.
* ReimaginingTheArtifact: This is applied to Adam and Barbara Maitland, who were seen in the 1988 ''Film/{{Beetlejuice}}'' movie, but were absent in the ''WesternAnimation/{{Beetlejuice}}'' animated SpinOff. They make their debut in the test episode "Splitting Lyds", and the Author explains that Adam will have a bigger role in a story arc during the series.
* ShipTease: The author is hinting at a possible shipping between Lydia Deetz and Jimmy Neutron as a story arc.
* TakeThat!: There will be several of these.
** The Second Episode does this in its flashback sequence when Jack Spicer, after kidnapping Danny's Family and friends while taking a concert audience hostage, says this:
-->'''Jack Spicer:''' I know it's frustrating to have this rock show preempted, but look what you're getting instead: A whole truckload of mindless violence and property damage, everything that makes TV better than puppy love high school drama and over-the-top football-related story arcs on that [[Series/FridayNightLights NBC trash show.]]
