Sadly, on January 25, 2021, the original Spacebattles thread was closed by a moderator due to [[WhyFandomCantHaveNiceThings several people writing posts insulting each other or the author and telling them to kill themselves]]. Fortunately, on February 2, 2021, the thread was reopened.

!!The Little Foreigner contains examples of:
* AccidentalMurder: [[spoiler:Abigail kills Oni Lee when she uses a portal to send him to a cell just as he was about to throw a grenade, causing him to get caught in the explosion. She was horrified and said she didn't know that would happen.]]
* AlternateSelf: [[spoiler:Earth Bet has a native Shirou Emiya who can create objects, but used his abilities to become a doctor.]]
* AndShowItToYou: [[spoiler:Eidolon suffers this courtesy of Endbringer!Gilgamesh.]]
* AssimilationBackfire: [[spoiler:Echidna briefly absorbs Abigail and tries to create a clone of her, but since she cannot be completely analyzed, the clone comes out brain dead.]]
* BadassAdorable:
** Abigail Williams is incredibly earnest and sweet while still being a powerhouse.
** Vista/Missy as well, though the adorable part grates on her.
* BigDamnHeroes:
** [[spoiler:When Endbringer!Gilgamesh attempts to carpetbomb the entire city, EMIYA uses Rho Aias to block the attacks.]]
** [[spoiler:Abigail kills Endbringer!Gilgamesh, but his Ea goes off. Abigail holds it straight up so the beam will go into space and not the city, but she starts to run out of strength. A recovered Vista shows up and helps her hold it up until the beam ends.]]
* CivvieSpandex: Abigail's costume as a Ward is her normal dress with the pants and shoes replaced with a leotard and combat boots. She figures that the former would also go well with her [[{{Stripperiffic}} Witch of Salem]] [[AgeInappropriateDress "outfit"]] if she ever transforms.
* CodeName: Abigail chooses Silver Key for her Cape name.
* ComboPlatterPowers: Abby has a number of abilities that belie the fact that she isn't like Earth Bet's capes. The PRT are under the impression that she's an unusually powerful Trump and the upper limits of her powers have yet to be determined (the Cosmic Traveling Gentlemen from the Salem Singularity says that she could, with practice, eventually use her powers to fight the Outer Gods).
* DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu: [[spoiler:Abigail uses her Noble Phantasm, Qliphoth Rhizome, on Endbringer!Gilgamesh, which disintegrates him.]]
* DramaticIrony: When Abigail attempts to murder [[spoiler:Echinda/Noelle for seemingly getting Vista killed]], the other Wards tell her to stop because [[ThouShaltNotKill heroes don't kill]]. Abigail points out many famous heroes like Achilles, Heracles, and David have killed. The Wards get confused and say those characters are just stories, not real. Abigail realizes they are ignorant, since she met those heroes before.
* HumanityEnsues: [[spoiler:Simurgh was turned into a human woman named Sera. She really enjoys her new freedom and being able to experience human emotions.]]
* ImprovisedWeapon: Abby still uses her teddy bear Hugo to smack people.
* LosingYourHead: [[spoiler:Endbringer!Gilgamesh gets his head destroyed by Eidolon, but he does not stop moving and pours a healing potion from the Gate of Babylon on the stump to grow a new head.]]
* MistakenIdentity: [[spoiler:When Tattletale reads Abigail and recites her past failures in an attempt to break her spirit, Abigail mistakes her for Raum, since he is pretty much the only being who would know about that.]]
* MuggingTheMonster:
** Shadow Stalker is dismissive of Silver Key, which lasts until a whack from Hugo throws her across the training room.
** [[spoiler:Tattletale does her cold-reading shtick on Silver Key. This completely backfires on her with the emergence of the Witch of Salem.]]
* NotSoDifferentRemark: [[spoiler:Simurgh/Sera says to EMIYA that they are alike, as they were both slaves who were compelled to slaughter countless people.]]
* OffTheRails: As soon as Abby arrives on Earth Bet, Yog-Sothoth convinces Scion to do ''something'' and the Simurgh disappears.
* PortalCut: Abby can do this with her gates and uses it to take the tail off of one of Rachel's dogs.
* PowerNullifier: [[spoiler:The Chains of Heaven nullify the powers of those caught in them, allowing Endbringer!Gilgamesh to kill people like Alabaster and Eidolon.]]
* ReluctantWarrior: Abigail doesn't like to fight, but she can defend herself and others if necessary.
* {{Retcon}}: The original version of Chapter Remnants 1.7, the bank job, had the battle between the Undersiders and the Wards interrupted by the surprise appearance of [[Literature/FateZero Hassan of the Hundred Faces]], who quickly incapacitates the Wards except for Abigail. The chapter ended on a cliffhanger as Abigail prepared to face him. Unfortunately, the chapter received negative reviews with many complaining that adding more Servants was completely unnecessary and the fic was in danger of JumpingTheShark. The author quickly altered the chapter to remove the Assassin and instead had Abigail confront Skitter and Tattletale.
* TakingTheBullet: [[spoiler:When Endbringer!Gilgamesh tries to kill Echidna, Trickster teleports in and intercepts the sword with his body. Fortunately, Clockblocker is able to freeze him before he bleeds out.]]
* TeleFrag: Abigail defeats Lung by opening a portal inside his body and sticking her keyblade inside it, tearing his torso apart. He survives this.
* TraumaticSuperpowerAwakening: [[spoiler:The PRT and the Wards are under the impression that Abby underwent a second trigger when Tattletale pushed her buttons during the bank job. She didn't. She just channeled more of her powers to lash out at Tattletale, who she thought was Raum, causing the latter to undergo the actual second trigger when Abby nearly hit her on the head with her giant key. Tattletale gained the new ability to create split personalities at will to help ease her mental burdens and can merge her personalities at will too.]]
* UnskilledButStrong: Abigail. Being a Servant-like vessel meant to host an Outer God, she has a stat line usually enjoyed by old and powerful heroes (like Gilgamesh and Herakles) and has the aforementioned god's powers to wield. That said, she's both new to fighting and reluctant to do it, not to mention she's still early in her journey to learn how her abilities work.
* WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes: Abby does not like dogs, which naturally becomes a problem when facing Hellhound.
* WhamEpisode:
** Chapter Atonement 2.b(lades). [[spoiler:After Simurgh was turned into the human woman Sera, she summons Archer EMIYA and explains that her new master assigned her to watch over Abigail. She asks him to help her with this and offers to free him from his contract with Alaya, from being a Counter Guardian. The two pretend to be a married couple and offer to adopt Abigail, plus they take out a few villains like Bakuda behind the scenes.]]
** Chapter Atonement 2.c(alamity). [[spoiler:Leviathan and Behemoth surface at the same time. Then Scion creates an EvilKnockoff of Gilgamesh from Yog-Sothoth's notes, complete with Gate of Babylon, and turns it into the King of the Endbringers.]]
** Chapter Devotion 3.a(pex) [[spoiler:Eidolon goes mano-a-mano with Endbringer!Gilgamesh, and gets his heart torn out.]]
** Chapter Devotion 3.5 [[spoiler:After Echidna absorbed Vista and then was injured by Endbringer!Gilgamesh, she sadly says she thinks Vista is dead. Enraged, Abigail lets the Witch take over and is ready to kill her.]]
* WhamLine: At the end of Chapter Atonement 2.5, [[spoiler: hinting at the identity of Abby's new foster father.]]
-->“I’ll take Abby back now, and we can discuss future meetings over the phone. Are you okay with driving home by yourself, [[spoiler:Mrs. Emiya?]]”
