-->-- June, DarthWiki/{{Circles}}

A work of supposed literary fiction and perhaps even a failed attempt at a thriller. David is an OrdinaryHighSchoolStudent who gets by as himself, even though it seems as if he's drifting away from his friends. And then one day Cato brings in a new girl, June, and she tells him something that he can't believe.

"We're in Hell."

And thus begins a novel in two parts: stories of paranoia, betrayal, revelations, pushing the boundaries of friendship and trust, and motives that don't even seem to make sense at all. In the end, maybe there are just really too many circles, but how do you break them?

!!This unpublished work contains examples of:

%%* AnyoneCanDie: [[spoiler:Yes, even the narrators.]]
%%* DistinguishingMark: How [[spoiler:June finds out that Lizzie's soul has transferred into the body of her newborn sister.]]
* GreenEyedMonster: June of Lizzie, because Cato likes her, and she likes him. [[spoiler:This leads to June killing her.]]
* MeaningfulName:
** Biblically: Jon is the shortened form of Jonathan, who was King David's closest companion or best friend. Sarah means "mother of many", and it could symbolize the fact that she's the motherly leader of the group.
** [[spoiler:Cato means wise. It symbolizes the fact that he knows more than June, and that he's actually the one who's known everything all along. June means "younger ones", and it symbolizes the fact that she knows things, yes, but she's inexperienced and not as wise as Cato. Also, she was named after Juno, a jealous goddess...]]
%%* ScarsAreForever: Apparently, they sometimes last into the next cycle.
* StartsWithASuicide: The novel itself doesn't begin with a suicide, but [[spoiler:Jon's suicide starts the whole paranoia and betrayal thing, following several sparks of accusation and uncontrollable anger from the cast.]]
