{{Crossover}}s in live-action TV.

----
!!Series that have their own {{Crossover}} subpages:
[[index]]
* ''Crossover/ToeiTokusatsu''
** ''Crossover/KamenRider''
** ''Crossover/SuperSentai''
[[/index]]
!!Series that don't:
* Jack Webb's triumvirate of ''Series/Adam12'', ''Franchise/{{Dragnet}}'', and ''Series/{{Emergency}}'' featured several crossovers among the three.
* ''Series/AgentsOfSHIELD'':
** The first crossover, with ''Film/ThorTheDarkWorld'', was heavily promoted, only to turn out to be a RedSkiesCrossover. While it dealt with Asgardians, it was completely unconnected to the movie except for a single scene at the beginning.
** The second crossover involved a cameo from Lady Sif. It wasn't advertised as a direct crossover like the previous episode, but the plot was still slightly more connected to the movie.
** The crossover with ''Film/CaptainAmericaTheWinterSoldier'' was also heavily advertised, but by this point the audience wasn't expecting anything special. Turns out they were wrong -- the movie has '''massive''' effects on the show, involving a complete ReTool following [[spoiler:S.H.I.E.L.D.'s fall in the movie]], and spending the next season and a half dealing with the fallout from the events. The show made excellent use of its lower-tier nature to address the issues that the movie didn't have time for.
* ''Series/AllMyChildren'', ''Series/OneLifeToLive'', and the defunct ''Series/{{Loving}}'' were all created by Agnes Nixon and share a universe. Numerous crossovers have occurred over the years, particularly in late 1992, concluding with several ''AMC'' characters being permanently transferred to ''Loving'', and in 2004, when AMC and OLTL launched an ambitious crossover storyline in which a baby from ''All My Children'' was kidnapped to ''One Life to Live''. The story lasted several months. Traditionally, ABC considered all of their soaps to share a universe, which allowed for the 1999 story (essentially a ratings stunt) in which Linda Dano's ''One Life to Live'' character traveled to ''All My Children'', ''Series/PortCharles'', and ''Series/GeneralHospital'' searching for her long-lost daughter, who turned out to be a fellow soap-hopping character, Skye Chandler (who started on ''AMC'', then turned up on ''OLTL'', then on ''GH''.).
** Especially between ''Port Charles'' and ''General Hospital'', which were set in the same town and hospital (the former show was a SpinOff of the latter) . Characters from one show frequently appeared on the other, and major eye-candy events like the annual Nurses Ball would start on ''Port Charles'' and finish on ''General Hospital''. Only when ''Port Charles'' took on a more supernatural tone did the crossovers stop.
* Similarly, on CBS, ''Series/TheYoungAndTheRestless'' and ''Series/TheBoldAndTheBeautiful'' were created by William Bell, leading to many crossovers and shared storylines, the best example being the former show's resident psycho, Sheila Carter, being presumed dead and thus a KarmaHoudini for her various crimes turning up on the latter show to wreak much of the same havoc. However, there have been occasional glitches when actors who played one character on one show turn up as a completely different character on the other.
* Other soap examples have even crossed networks. ''Series/AsTheWorldTurns'' and ''Series/AnotherWorld'' were on CBS and NBC, respectively, but when the latter show was canceled, a handful of its favorite characters were brought to ''ATWT'' for several years.
* Two Creator/DavidEKelley series, ''Series/AllyMcBeal'' and ''Series/ThePractice'', had a 1998 crossover storyline that encompassed episodes of both shows.
* Episode 991 of the Indian children's series ''Series/BaalVeer'' is a crossover with ''WesternAnimation/TheAngryBirdsMovie''. In the episode, Tauba-Tauba brings the Angry Birds into the real world while the kids are watching the film, and Baal Veer has to get them back to their world.
* ''Series/Batman1966'' had a two-part episode where ''Series/TheGreenHornet'' and Kato arrive in Gotham.
* Chi [=McBride's=] character from ''Series/BostonPublic'' also crossed over into an episode of ''Series/BostonLegal''.
** The continuity was thrown for a loop when Peter [=MacNicol=] played a one-off character on ''Boston Legal'', a spin-off of ''The Practice'', [[YouLookFamiliar after having played a lead character]] on ''Ally [=McBeal=]''.
*** And for another loop when the appearance of Bill Smitrovich as a guest star on ''Series/BostonLegal'', in a different role from the cranky, vindictive D.A. he played on ''The Practice''.
*** The role was not that different at all. The main difference was that his ''Boston Legal'' character worked in a state where Death Penalty was applicable.
*** The most baffling loop-thrower has to be John Larroquette, who had a notable guest appearance as a devious client on ''Series/ThePractice'' before showing up as regular character Carl Sack in ''Boston Legal'''s fourth season.
* Mikey and Paul Jr. from ''Series/AmericanChopper'' head down to Baton Rouge to hang out with the guys from ''Series/SonsOfGuns''.
* A 1968 Thanksgiving episode of ''Series/TheBeverlyHillbillies'' had that show's characters traveling to Hooterville, leading to a three-way crossover among ''The Beverly Hillbillies'', ''Series/PetticoatJunction'' and ''Series/GreenAcres''. Earlier episodes of ''Green Acres'' had shown Hootervillians ''watching the fictional Clampetts on TV'' and even producing an amateur play based on ''The Beverly Hillbillies'' TV show.
* ''Series/BreakoutKings'': In the third episode of the first season, ''Series/PrisonBreak'''s T-Bag....breaks out from a prison. An unprecedented case of a character crossing over to a show on a completely different network but not so surprising considering both show have the same producers (and an obvious common theme).
* ''Series/BuffyTheVampireSlayer''[=/=]''Series/{{Angel}}'':
** Naturally, the shows did it several times, especially in Season 4 of ''Buffy''[=/=]Season 1 of ''Angel''. However, this did not happen during season 6/3, when Buffy's ChannelHop made it a lot harder and they were essentially banned. Then the ban was lifted, and crossovers happened again.
** One interesting example was the ''Buffy'' episode "[[{{Recap/BuffyTheVampireSlayerS5E7FoolForLove}} Fool For Love]]", and the immediately following Angel episode "[[{{Recap/AngelS02E07Darla}} Darla]]", which didn't share an A Plot, but were linked together by a series of flashbacks filling in Darla's, Angel's, Drusilla's, and Spike's backstories (including one flashback shown first from Spike's perspective in "Fool for Love", and then OnceMoreWithClarity from Darla's perspective in "Darla").
** In the Season 8 comics there is a crossover with {{ComicBook/Fray}} in ''Time of Your Life''. Future Willow transports Buffy to the future.
* ''Series/{{Casualty}}'' and its spin-off ''Series/HolbyCity'' have had four crossovers titled ''Casualty@Holby City'' (although they were given a special title, they ran as two-parters in the usual slots): two {{Christmas episode}}s, one HalloweenEpisode, and a {{Very Special|Episode}} Organ Donation Awareness Week episode. The first episode of Season Two of ''Series/HolbyBlue'' was a direct continuation of that week's ''Series/HolbyCity'', both of which featured the medics and the cops. This wasn't enough to save ''[=HolbyBlue=]'', which didn't get a third season. A MilestoneCelebration for ''Holby'''s 20th anniversary was also a two-parter running between the two, but didn't use the ''Casualty@Holby City'' name.[[note]]You might expect two shows set in the same hospital to cross over all the time, but in fact they're not even filmed in the same location (''Casualty'' is at Roath Lock studios in Cardiff; ''Holby'' at Elstree in Hertefordshire), so it's quite difficult to organise.[[/note]]
* The cast of ''Series/ElChavoDelOcho'' met ''Series/ElChapulinColorado'' in episodes ''Todo queda en familia'' and ''Blanca Nieves y los 7 Churín Churín Fun Flais'', Kiko also makes a cameo in Chapulin's episode ''Los bebés ya no vienen de París'' and ''El disfraz, el antifaz y algo más'', the latter by-the-way was a massive crossover episode with several characters from the Series/{{Chespirito}} franchise showing up.
* ''Series/{{Community}}'' has a great [[Recap/CommunityS2E19CriticalFilmStudies episode]] with one, involving ''Series/CougarTown''. Abed mentions that [[AscendedFanboy he was allowed on the set of Cougar Town as an extra,]] and [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cWfJYJMrYa0 that episode actually exists!]]
* In 2010, ''Series/CoronationStreet'' [[DuellingShows and]] ''Series/EastEnders'' had a very well-received crossover to raise money for Children in Need.
* ''Series/{{CSI}}'' has crossed over with both other shows within the CSI franchise, ''Series/{{CSINY}}'',''Series/CSIMiami'', as well as ''Series/WithoutATrace''. ''Miami'', meanwhile, has crossed over twice with ''CSI NY'', and New York once also did so with ''Series/ColdCase'', and the three core CSI programs have crossed over with a three-part story featuring Ray Langston. All five are produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and air on CBS, so bringing them together is less complicated than most.
* Due to the extra time created by the 2008 [[UsefulNotes/TVStrikes Writer's Strike]], even some LateNightTalkShows got in on the action. While ''Series/TheDailyShow'' and ''Series/TheColbertReport'' often have crossovers (as Colbert's character originated on Stewart's show), what makes this special is the addition of Conan of ''Late Night with Creator/ConanOBrien.'' The three wound up having a mock feud over then-Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee, culminating in a MeleeATrois on Conan's show.
** Colbert and Jimmy Fallon each had the other crossover in the promotion of a fundraiser competition. It culminated in a performance of Rebecca Black's "Friday" that contained nearly the legal limit of awesome.
* ''Series/{{Dallas}}''[=/=]''Series/KnotsLanding''
** Crossovers happened fairly often in Seasons 3 to 6 of ''Dallas'' and Seasons 1 to 4 of ''Knots Landing''. They tended to involve the BlackSheep Gary Ewing (and sometimes his wife Valene) visiting his childhood home of Southfork or other Ewings such as J.R., Bobby and Lucy visiting them in California. Sue Ellen's sister Kristin Shepard also turned up in ''Knots Landing'' on one occasion after she [[spoiler:shot J.R.]]. After Season 9 of ''Dallas'' was revealed to be AllJustADream and Bobby came BackFromTheDead, the two series severed ties as several events in Season 7 of ''Knots Landing'' depended on Bobby's death i.e. Gary struggling to accept that his brother was dead and Valene naming her infant son after him. Gary and Valene did appear in the SeriesFinale of ''Dallas'' but in an alternate reality in which J.R. was never born.
** In 2013, Gary and Valene appeared in three episodes and one episode respectively of the revived ''Dallas''. They had seemingly learned of Bobby's resurrection in the meantime.
* Creator/DisneyChannel and Creator/DisneyXD shows are set in a loose SharedUniverse. Characters from previous shows occasionally make cameos, and they have common {{Bland Name Product}}s. There have also been several direct crossovers. In order:
** ''[[Series/ThatsSoRaven That's So]] [[Series/TheSuiteLifeOfZackAndCody Suite Life of]] Series/HannahMontana'' (2006)
** "Take This Job and Love It": a Season Two episode of ''Series/HannahMontana'' guest starring characters from ''Series/CoryInTheHouse''. (2007)
** ''[[Series/WizardsOfWaverlyPlace Wizards]] [[Series/TheSuiteLifeOnDeck on Deck]] with Series/HannahMontana'' (2009)
** ''[[Series/ImInTheBand Weasels]] [[Series/TheSuiteLifeOnDeck on Deck]]'' (2010)
** ''[[Series/GoodLuckCharlie Charlie]] [[Series/ShakeItUp Shakes It Up]]'' (2011)
** ''[[Series/AustinAndAlly Austin &]] Series/{{Jessie}} [[Series/AustinAndAlly & Ally]]: All Star New Year'' (2012)
** ''[[Series/GoodLuckCharlie Good Luck]] Series/{{Jessie}}: NYC Christmas'' (2013)
** ''Series/{{Jessie}}'s Aloha-Holidays with [[Series/LivAndMaddie Parker and Joey]]'' (2014)
** ''Series/LabRats Vs. Series/MightyMed'' (2015)
** ''[[Series/RavensHome Raven About]] ''Series/{{Bunkd}}'' (2020)
* ''Series/TheDefenders2017'' is a crossover of all four previous ''Franchise/MarvelCinematicUniverse'' Netflix series, featuring main and supporting characters from each and antagonists from a few of them: ''Series/{{Daredevil|2015}}'', ''{{Series/Jessica Jones|2015}}'', ''{{Series/Luke Cage|2016}}'', and ''{{Series/Iron Fist|2017}}''.
* The character of Captain Jack Harkness first appeared in ''Series/DoctorWho'' near the end of the 2005 series. At its finale, he was left behind by the Doctor, and was next seen in 2006 starring in his own spinoff, ''Series/{{Torchwood}}''. ''Torchwood'' ended its first series with Jack running away to rejoin the Doctor, which occurred near the end of ''Doctor Who's'' 2007 series in the three-part finale, after which Jack headed back to his team for ''Torchwood's'' second series.
** Jack returns for the series 4 finale, along with Ianto and Gwen. The episode crosses over even ''further'' with the return of Sarah Jane -- accompanied by her adopted son from [[Series/TheSarahJaneAdventures her own spinoff series]].
** Likewise, the Doctor has had a guest appearance in ''Series/TheSarahJaneAdventures'', as has the Brigadier (making him the first Classic Who character to appear in a Nu-Who spinoff, but not Nu-Who itself). Another SJA crossover aired, with Eleven and Jo Jones.
** ''Doctor Who'' also crossed over with ''[=EastEnders=]'' in the 1993 special "[[Recap/DoctorWho30thASDimensionsInTime Dimensions in Time]]". Later developments in both shows would retcon them as having a MutuallyFictional situation.
* The Creator/{{Netflix}} Spanish and South African teen dramas ''Series/{{Elite|2018}}'' and ''Series/BloodAndWater'' canonically take place in the same universe. Fikile appears in ''Elite'' season 7, while Iván appears in ''Blood & Water'' season 4.
* ''Series/{{ER}}'' crossed over with ''Series/ThirdWatch''. Unsurprising, as they were both created by John Wells and have similar subject matter. Unfortunately, it ended up negating a throwaway line in which a ''Third Watch'' character mentioned ''watching'' ''ER'' on television (obviously a ShoutOut, but it would mean that the two shows ''didn't'' have a SharedUniverse).
* The Australian series ''Series/EscapeOfTheArtfulDodger'', which centered around the Artful Dodger after he's been sent to a penal colony in Australia, also featured fellow Dickens characters [[Literature/DavidCopperfield Mr. Micawber and Uriah Heep]] in supporting roles.
* ''Series/{{Eureka}}'' and ''Series/{{Warehouse 13}}'' have a pair of crossover episodes, where Fargo upgrades the Warehouse's computer system and Claudia visits Eureka. [[ButtMonkey Fargo]] even managed to MacGyvering a ''lightsaber'' with a laser pointer and an artifact. Creator/{{Syfy}} even used these episodes for a ''canon'' crossover ship. Claudia/Fargo. ''Series/{{Alphas}}'' was also given a crossover with ''Warehouse 13'', although no character in ''Alphas'' has yet appeared in either of the others.
* ''Series/EverybodyLovesRaymond'', ''Series/TheKingOfQueens'', and ''Series/TheNanny'' also exist in the same universe and have been known to cross over.
* In the early 1990s, an episode of ''Series/FamilyFeud'' had some cast members of ''Series/ThePriceIsRight'' compete on a CelebrityEdition (namely then-host Bob Barker, then-announcer Rod Roddy, and three of the models). The first episode of the week was treated as a crossover, with ''Feud'' announcer Gene Wood telling Bob and co. to "come on down" as if they were ''Price'' contestants (the shows taped in the same studio at the time).
* Apparently among Mr. Roark's ''Series/FantasyIsland'' magical, mystical abilities is the [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n_g_4C7-2Dg power to CrossOver with other AaronSpelling series]].
* The Fox show ''Series/TheFinder'', besides having been given a BackDoorPilot from ''Series/{{Bones}}'', later had a crossover from the same when [[TheProfiler Sweets]] popped up to do a psychological evaluation of [[ShellshockedVeteran Walter]]. Dr. Jack Hodgins appeared in an episode of ''The Finder''.
* [[RequiredSpinoffCrossover Multiple characters]] from ''Series/{{Cheers}}'' dropped by on ''Series/{{Frasier}}''. The producers said the they moved Frasier to Seattle to avoid this, but couldn't hold out forever. The only character who did not appear on ''Frasier'' was Rebecca Howe and this was due to actress Kirstie Alley's refusal to participate on the grounds that her religion (Scientology) looks down on psychiatry.
** Lilith was the first and one of only two to recur. {{Justified|Trope}} in that Lilith was the mother of Frasier's son, and therefore more a part of the Frasier-verse than the Cheers gang.
** Frasier's son Frederick appeared about once a year, played by [[TheOtherDarrin two different actors]], neither of them the "Frederick" from ''Cheers''.
** Sam Malone (Season 2)
** Diane Chambers (As a dream in season 2 and 9, and for real in a season 3 episode with RealitySubtext - Shelley Long and Kelsey Grammer had an on-set rivalry on ''Cheers'', but they made up in the course of filming the episode.)
** Woody Boyd (Season 6)
** Cliff, Norm, Carla, and a bunch of the Cheers regulars (Season 9, "Cheerful Goodbyes").
** Loose crossovers with ''Series/CarolineInTheCity'' and ''The John Larroquette Show''.
** Frasier's mother appeared once on ''Cheers'', and in death several times on ''Frasier''.
** In one episode the gang go on ''Series/AntiquesRoadshow''.
* ''Series/{{Friends}}'' with ''Series/MadAboutYou'', somewhat, as in a few eps Ursula can be found as the Buchmans' regular waitress, much to their dismay.
** There was an actual crossover when the MAY characters appeared in the coffee shop, mistook Phoebe for Ursula, and, assuming Ursula had been (rightly) fired there and hired here, tried to order coffee from her.
** There was also at least one with ''The Single Guy''.
** A more straight example would be the crossover with ''Series/CarolineInTheCity'' in the episode "The One with the Baby on the Bus". Caroline meets Chandler and Joey on the street and [[MistakenForGay mistakes them for a gay couple]]. The same night that episode aired, Chandler appeared in an episode of ''Caroline''.
** Then there was NBC's "Blackout Thursday," in which the characters on ''Mad About You'' caused a citywide blackout, followed by the characters on ''Friends'' and ''Madman of the People'' dealing with the aftermath. Notably, ''Seinfeld'' didn't join in as its script for the week had been written long before.
* Since all of ABC's Friday night shows were in the same universe, they have had a few crossovers:
** ''Series/FamilyMatters'' spun off from ''Series/PerfectStrangers''; Harriet Winslow worked as an elevator operator at the newspaper where Larry worked.
** Steve Urkel was a part of several:
*** He appeared on an episode of ''Series/FullHouse'' to help Stephanie get over he dislike of wearing glasses.
*** Another episode of ''Family Matters'' ended with Urkel blasting off, and winds up crash landing into the first scene of ''Series/StepByStep''. He spends the rest of the episode helping Al get over a breakup.
*** He was also Cory's pen-pal in ''Series/BoyMeetsWorld'' (though he didn't actually appear).
** Cooper guest-taught at Michelle's school in an episode of ''Series/HanginWithMrCooper''.
* ''Series/TheFreshPrinceOfBelAir'' once crossed paths with ''Series/TheJeffersons''.
* ''Series/TheGoldenGirls'', ''Series/EmptyNest'', and ''Nurses'' were all made by the same production company and all shared the same Miami setting, so there was predictably a fair amount of crossover among them.
* Shonda Rhimes' ''Series/GreysAnatomy'' and ''Series/PrivatePractice'' have crossovers seemingly every five episodes or so.
* ''Series/HappyDays'' and ''Series/LaverneAndShirley'' had characters appearing on each other's shows fairly regularly, and there was one true crossover storyline that spanned episodes of both series -- which was only reasonable, since ''Laverne and Shirley'' was a SpinOff of ''Happy Days''. And just to add a little weirdness to the mix, ''Series/MorkAndMindy'' was ''also'' a ''Happy Days'' spinoff...
* For one UsefulNotes/ComicRelief event, British {{panel game}}s ''Series/HaveIGotNewsForYou'', ''Series/NeverMindTheBuzzcocks'', and ''Series/TheyThinkItsAllOver'' crossed over. The product was titled ''Have I Got Buzzcocks All Over''.
** An earlier UsefulNotes/ComicRelief had ''Have I Got ''Series/AQuestionOfSport'' For You''.
* In a desperate attempt to prop up the ratings of its woebegone late '70s sitcom ''Series/HelloLarry'', Creator/{{NBC}} had the cast make numerous crossover visits to the popular ''Series/DiffrentStrokes''.
* ''Series/TheFactsOfLife'' occasionally crossed over with ''Series/DiffrentStrokes''; the character of Mrs. Garrett worked as the Drummond's housekeeper.
* ''Series/HerculesTheLegendaryJourneys'' and ''Series/XenaWarriorPrincess''. ''Xena'' even had the BigBad [[spoiler:''defeated in the other show'']]. And Kevin Sorbo's last appearance as Herc was on the spinoff rather than on his own show.
* ''Series/{{Hoarders}}'': Mark Hall-Patton, one of the experts who regularly shows up on ''Series/PawnStars'', comes to evaluate the authenticity of some of the items in Lonnie's (S9 E1) hoard.
* Game shows ''Series/{{Jeopardy}}'' and ''Series/WheelOfFortune'' air back to back in syndication. On April Fool's Day 1997, hosts Creator/AlexTrebek and Pat Sajak hosted each other's shows. The ''Wheel'' episode was a gag episode in which Pat and Vanna were "contestants"; the ''Jeopardy!'' episode, on the other hand, was a legitimate episode which just happened to have Sajak guest-hosting instead of Trebek. Sajak even won praise for his hosting skills.
* ''Series/LasVegas'' and ''Series/CrossingJordan'' crossed over with one another on a regular basis.
* Not only did ''Series/LabRats'' and ''Series/MightyMed'' have a crossover in 2015, but both shows would be followed by an entire crossover ''series'' in ''Series/LabRatsEliteForce''.
* The episodes of ''Series/LawAndOrderSpecialVictimsUnit'' and ''Series/LawAndOrderTrialByJury'' titled "Night" and "Day," respectively, were crossovers of each other on the same night. The major characters from each series appeared on both episodes, which dealt with a rapist. ''SVU'' focused on the investigation and arrest of the rapist, while ''Trial by Jury'' focused on the trial. (There was some discontinuity here. At the end of ''SVU'', the case was declared a slamdunk. At the beginning of ''TBJ'', the case became a sure loser.)
** ''[[Series/LawAndOrderSpecialVictimsUnit Law And Order: SVU]]'' did this years ago with a 2-part event, "Entitled," the second half of which took place on the original ''Series/LawAndOrder''. However, this plays havoc with syndication, because the shows are rerun on different networks in America; the ''SVU'' episode leaves the viewer hanging without the second half and the mothership episode confuses those who didn't see the first and wondering why it seems to be starting InMediasRes.
** ''Series/LawAndOrder'' also crossed over with ''[[Series/HomicideLifeOnTheStreet Homicide]]'' in what was originally a two-parter. While working together on a single case, the two squads had personality clashes, and normally-infallible characters faltered in unfamiliar settings. In a good move, when this episode is rerun TNT will show both the ''L&O'' and ''Homicide'' episodes back-to-back, even though they don't usually show ''Homicide'' at all.
*** This also happened when Creator/Channel5 in the UK - which didn't screen ''Homicide'' - ran that particular ''L&O'' episode... unfortunately this practice is the exception rather than the rule in Britain, meaning numerous crossovers of this ilk are either left hanging (like the ''Series/AllyMcBeal''/''Series/ThePractice'' crossover -- or, more germanely to Channel Five, the ''Series/MartialLaw''/''Series/WalkerTexasRanger'' one[[note]]Five screened Sammo's adventures, but not Cordell's[[/note]]) or shown waaaaaaay apart, like the ''Series/MagnumPI''/''Series/SimonAndSimon'' one. However, [[Creator/{{Sky}} Sky One]] did run the ''Series/NCISLosAngeles''/''Series/HawaiiFive0'' crossover thanks to their airing both series.
*** Victor Erhlich and Roxanne Turner from ''Series/StElsewhere'' also appeared on ''Homicide'' in two separate episodes. Private contractor Weigert, which had featured prominently on ''St. Elsewhere'''s final season, and ''[[ShowWithinAShow Mrs. Sally's Schoolyard]]'', from ''Homicide'', were prominently featured in ''Series/{{Oz}}''. John Munch also made cameos on ''Series/TheXFiles'' and ''Series/TheWire''.
** ''Law and Order: SVU'' also had a brief crossover from the cast of Law and Order: Los Angeles.
** At one point, TPTB wanted the L&O/Homicide crossover to include ''Series/{{ER}}'', but ''ER''[='=]s producers either declined outright or couldn't find a way to work it into the storyline.
* In May of 2016 the daytime version of ''Series/LetsMakeADeal'' crossed over with ''Series/ThePriceIsRight'' for one week. Both shows featured respective games from each other, contestants on "Let's Make a Deal" were called to "Come on down!" and losing prizes on the Price is Right were reffered to as "Zonks".
* Characters from ''Series/TheLoveBoat'' guest-starred in episodes of ''Series/CharliesAngels'' and ''Series/{{Martin}}''.
* ''Series/MagnumPI'' had crossovers with ''Series/MurderSheWrote'' and ''Series/SimonAndSimon''.
* In ''Series/TheManFromUNCLE'''s heyday an episode of ''Please Don't Eat The Daisies'' had the children believing their father was a spy after seeing him pass a matchbook to [[Series/TheManFromUNCLE Illya Kuryakin]] in an innocuous (or was it?) encounter. Hilarity ensues until, in the show's concluding scene, someone is brought in to convince the children that they've jumped to a foolish conclusion. It is Robert [=Vaughn=] whom the kids recognize instantly as [[Series/TheManFromUNCLE Napoleon Solo]].
** There was also an episode featuring ''Series/TheGirlFromUNCLE'', April Dancer.
* ''Series/MartialLaw'' has the appearance of Creator/ChuckNorris' character for a couple of episodes. In fact, for that case, you have to watch the continuation of the case in ''Series/WalkerTexasRanger'' if you want to know how it is resolved.
* In Australia, the top nine players on 'The Mole' had to play an episode of 'The Weakest Link'.
* TV commercial example involving ''Series/{{Monk}}''[='=]s Adrian Monk and ''Series/TheDeadZone''[='=]s Johnny Smith: Three versions of the promos have them avoiding touching other people[=/=]things ([[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j-lgJCtcAIA at a detectives association meeting]]) and exhibiting their BlessedWithSuck[=/=]CursedWithAwesome (Monk's [=OCD=] demonstrated on [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f50yHDekFfg corn counting]] and Smith's psychic ability with [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ac5x9NSkW0Y a punch bowl]]). The Creator/USANetwork aired both of their shows at the same time.
* USA Network had a set of commercials crossing over their various shows; [[Series/{{Monk}} Adrian Monk]] and [[Series/TheDeadZone Johnny Smith]] are each thankful the other doesn't want to shake hands; Johnny and [[Series/{{Psych}} Shawn Spencer]] debate who has the worse past; until they notice Monk counting his food; etc.
** Back when USA Network showed Lorenzo Lamas in Renegade and Highlander The Series, a carefully filmed Duncan Macleod and Reno Raines exchanged quips about their situations; Duncan is 400 years old, Reno has some socks that are over 20 - till it ends with Duncan's katana slashing the front wheel on Raines' motorcycle.
* ''Series/TheMuppetShow'' crossed over with ''Franchise/StarWars''. Luke declares the Earth a "comedy variety show planet."
* ''Series/MythBusters'' brought the TVN Dominator and Tornado Intercept Vehicle 2 from fellow Creator/DiscoveryChannel series ''Series/StormChasers'' on for an episode to test the two armored trucks' ability to withstand high-velocity impacts.
* Creator/{{CBC}} time-twisting crossover: The ''Series/MurdochMysteries'' episode "Republic of Murdoch" features a 19th century "Jacob Doyle". And the the ''Series/RepublicOfDoyle'' episode "If the Shoe Fits" features a 21st century "Bill Murdoch".
** Not as far into the future, ''Frankie Drake Mysteries'' has featured guest appearances from aged members of the ''Murdoch'' cast.
* Kensi from ''Series/NCISLosAngeles'' made a guest appearance on the revival of ''Series/HawaiiFive0''. And then ''Series/NCISLosAngeles'' and ''Series/HawaiiFive0'' did a two-way crossover where Callen and Sam came to Hawaii to prevent a black-market bioweapons buy, then Danno and Chin Ho went to L.A. to stop one of the involved parties from unleashing the bioweapon in question.
* Abby Scuito from the parent series ''Series/{{NCIS}}'' appeared in an episode of ''Series/NCISLosAngeles''.
* Pride, [=LaSalle=], Brody, and Percy appear in the first part of the ''Series/{{NCIS}}''/ ''Series/{{NCISNewOrleans}}'' two-part crossover event "Sister City" and Gibbs, Ducky, Palmer, Abby, and Bishop appeared in the second part.
* And Bud Roberts from NCIS' parent series ''Series/{{JAG}}'' appeared in one episode in the first season.
** Retired Rear Admiral A.J. Chegwidden is Gibbs's lawyer in the ''Series/{{NCIS}}'' Season 10 finale.
* ''Series/TheNeighbors'' crossed over with ''[[Series/DragonsDen Shark Tank]]'', to kick off a story arc featuring one of the Sharks investing in Debbie's quest to go to business school.
* A rather famous "Night of Elizabeth Taylor" also tied ''Series/TheNanny'' to the other shows on the network that night, ''Can't Hurry Love,'' ''Series/MurphyBrown,'' and ''High Society.''
* ''Franchise/PowerRangers'' usually has the trend to have the previous team appear for a crossover special. This first appeared on ''Series/PowerRangersZeo'', in which the Alien Rangers teamed up with the Zeo Rangers, but more or less became regular 3 seasons later, during ''Series/PowerRangersLostGalaxy''. Other notable crossovers include:
** The ''Series/MightyMorphinPowerRangers'' three-part episode "A Friend in Need" featured the main character of the ''Series/MaskedRider'' series. Interestingly enough, the original Japanese franchise Super Sentai and Kamen Rider, which Power Rangers and Masked Rider are based on, never crossed over until 14 years later in 2009, when Kamen Rider Decade crosses over with Samurai Sentai Shinkenger.
** ''Series/PowerRangersInSpace'' had a few crossover episodes.
*** The episodes "Save Our Ship" and "Shell Shocked" crossed over with ''Series/NinjaTurtlesTheNextMutation''.
*** "Always a Chance" has Adam from ''Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers'' assist the team.
*** Justin from ''Series/PowerRangersTurbo'' also becomes an ally to the team in "True Blue to the Rescue".
** The ''Series/PowerRangersWildForce'' episode "Forever Red" features all previous red rangers from prior seasons of the franchise. This episode was made to celebrate ten years of Power Rangers.
** In an example similar to Forever Red, ''Series/PowerRangersOperationOverdrive'' has Once a Ranger, which featured a team of previous rangers led by Adam. This was made for the franchises 15th anniversary.
** ''Series/PowerRangersMegaforce'' was a 20th anniversary MilestoneCelebration. In the latter half of the season, the Rangers gained the ability to use the powers of past teams, and characters from ''[[Series/PowerRangersSamurai Samurai]]'' and ''[[Series/PowerRangersJungleFury Jungle Fury]]'' had guest spots. In the ''Megaforce'' finale, every Ranger ever appeared for the final battle.
** The MilestoneCelebration for the 25th Anniversary saw the current team, ''Series/PowerRangersNinjaSteel'', meeting with ten other Rangers from past seasons -- [[Series/PowerRangersZeo Tommy]], [[Series/MightyMorphinPowerRangers Rocky]], [[Series/PowerRangersTurbo Katherine]], [[Series/PowerRangersInSpace TJ]], [[Series/PowerRangersTimeForce Wes]], [[Series/PowerRangersDinoThunder Trent]], [[Series/PowerRangersRPM Gemma]], [[Series/PowerRangersSamurai Antonio]], [[Series/PowerRangersMegaforce Gia]], and [[Series/PowerRangersDinoCharge Koda]].
** Until it had the team's Red make a guest appearance in the aforementioned ''Megaforce'', ''Jungle Fury'' was notable for being the ''only'' series not to have a direct crossover of any kind, and is currently the only one with no crossover with either it's predecessor (''Operation Overdrive'') or it's successor (''RPM'')[[note]]due to Disney taking over from Saban midway through ''Wild Force'', there was no crossover between it and ''Series/PowerRangersNinjaStorm'', although the latter did have a crossover with ''Dino Thunder''; and not counting ''Once A Ranger'', the closest ''Series/PowerRangersMysticForce'' got to a crossover with ''Series/PowerRangersSPD'' was Piggy from the latter making a cameo in the former's season[[/note]].
* The fourth season of ''Series/OnceUponATime'' is one [[StoryArc lengthy]] crossover with ''WesternAnimation/Frozen2013''. Though the very nature of the show itself is one between almost every popular fairy tale that Disney had explored.
* In May 2016 ''Series/ThePriceIsRight'' had three prime time specials where it crossed over with ''Series/{{Survivor}}'', ''Series/BigBrother'', and ''Series/TheAmazingRace''.
* WordOfGod says that if ''Series/{{Psych}}'' hadn't made ''Series/{{Leverage}}'' a fictional show within Psych's universe, ''Leverage's Eliot would have had an uncle named Henry.
* '''"[[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X-Cops_(The_X-Files) X-Cops]]"''' is the 12th episode of the 7th season of ''Series/TheXFiles'' which made a brilliant crossover with ''[[Series/CoPs COPS]]''. Shot in the standard ''COPS'' RealTime-documentary format, the episode follows Mulder and Scully collaborating with [=LAPD=] as they track down an entity that takes the form of your greatest fear.
* A ''Series/SaturdayNightLive'' sketch from 1999 involved a [[WeirdCrossover humorous crossover]] between ''Series/{{Seinfeld}}'' and ''Series/{{Oz}}'', in which Creator/JerrySeinfeld is incarcerated at Oswald State Correctional Facility, where he [[SeinfeldianConversation casually chats]] about prison life with Tobias Beecher, Vernon Schillinger, Ryan O'Reilly, and Augustus Hill.
* ''Series/{{Seinfeld}}'' and ''Series/MadAboutYou'' crossed over at least once, which generated FridgeLogic when in an episode of the former two characters were seen watching the latter.
* There hasn't been a direct crossover between ''Series/TheShield'' and ''Series/SonsOfAnarchy'', but a gang called the One-Niners, based in Los Angeles, has appeared in both shows, indicating that the shows share a continuity. Considering that one of ''Series/SonsOfAnarchy'''s producers was a writer on ''Series/TheShield'', it's not surprising.
** And you can tack on ''Series/TheUnit'' to that as well, which also shared a producer with ''The Shield'' and had a gang in common, in this case the Byz-Lats.
** Detective Billings from ''The Shield'' popped up in an episode of ''Series/SWAT2017'' as well.
* ''Series/TheSixMillionDollarMan'' and ''Series/TheBionicWoman'' had regular crossovers, with two-part and three-part stories involving both shows (most notably "Kill Oscar," which had parts 1 and 3 on Jaime Sommers' show with the middle part on Steve Austin's). Curiously, although both series aired on Creator/{{ITV}} in Britain, the crossover episodes weren't treated as such: all three parts of "Kill Oscar" and both parts of "Welcome Home, Jaime" were aired as episodes of ''The Bionic Woman,'' while both parts of "The Return Of Bigfoot" were shown via ''The Six Million Dollar Man''.
* ''Series/StargateSG1'' and ''Series/StargateAtlantis'' have had several instances of crossovers. Among the most notable are the characters Rodney [=McKay=] and Elizabeth Weir, who were introduced as secondary characters in ''SG-1'' and became two of the first regular characters on ''Atlantis'' (later joined by other ''SG-1'' {{transplant}}s.) Often times, things that happen in one series have an impact on the other, such as the recovery of a ZPM by SG-1 helping to defend Atlantis during its siege.
** There was a dedicated episode where SG-1 goes to Atlantis to find out the secrets of the DeusExMachina that'll save the galaxy, in the process both teams save the other one from disaster by the series' two {{Big Bad}}s. Additionally, several episodes of ''Atlantis'' have included scenes set in the SGC.
* The various ''Franchise/StarTrek'' series saw many of these, beginning with ''Series/StarTrekTheNextGeneration'', although events in one series rarely affected the others. The crossovers became more frequent in later years.
** [=DeForest=] Kelley appeared as an old version of Doctor [=McCoy=] in the ''Next Generation'' pilot, "[[Recap/StarTrekTheNextGenerationS1E1EncounterAtFarpoint Encounter at Farpoint]]".
** Mark Lenard reprised the role of Spock's father in "[[Recap/StarTrekTheNextGenerationS3E23Sarek Sarek]]", then again, in the "[[Recap/StarTrekTheNextGenerationS5E7Unification1 Unification]]" two-parter. Leonard Nimoy also appeared as a special guest star, as Spock, in [[Recap/StarTrekTheNextGenerationS5E8Unification2 the latter]].
** James Doohan (Scotty) reprised his part in "[[Recap/StarTrekTheNextGenerationS6E4Relics Relics]]".
** The ''Enterprise'' visited Deep Space Nine in the two-parter "[[Recap/StarTrekTheNextGenerationS6E15Birthright Birthright]]". Alexander Siddig (Doctor Bashir) reprised his role from the latter series.
** Quark (Armin Shimerman) from [=DS9=] appeared in a cameo in "Firstborn".
** A major part of Sisko's backstory in ''Series/StarTrekDeepSpaceNine'' was the death of his wife Jennifer during the Battle of Wolf 359, which occurred in TNG's "The Best of Both Worlds". The subsequent Borg attack on Section 001, which occurred in ''Film/StarTrekFirstContact'', is mentioned occasionally in [=DS9=], while [=DS9's=] Dominion War is mentioned in ''Voyager'''s "Message in a Bottle", ''Film/StarTrekInsurrection'' and ''Film/StarTrekNemesis''.
** Patrick Stewart appeared as Picard / Locutus of Borg in the ''Deep Space Nine'' pilot, "Emissary".
** John Colicos (Kor), William Campbell (Koloth), and Michael Ansara (Kang) reprised their famous Klingon roles from ''The Original Series'' in the episode "Blood Oath".
** The only storyline to play a major role in all three "Next Gen" series was the rise and fall of the Maquis. The reason behind their existence (the creation of the DMZ) was established in Season Seven; the Maquis were introduced in [=DS9=] Season Two ("The Maquis") before turning up again in "Defiant" (Jonathan Frakes guest-stars as Will Riker's rebellious clone from TNG, Tom Riker) and several episodes following that, and formed a major part of the backstory of Chakotay and B'Elanna in ''Series/StarTrekVoyager''. The destruction of the Maquis by the Dominion in [=DS9=] Season Five ("Blaze of Glory") comes back to haunt Chakotay and B'Elanna in ''Voyager'' Season Four when the ship finally makes contact with the Alpha Quadrant.
** Probably the most ambitious crossover in ''Star Trek'' history was "Trials and Tribble-ations", in which the ''Deep Space Nine'' crew travel back in time to a rather famous episode of ''The Original Series'', and literally meet Captain Kirk and his crew, ''Film/ForrestGump''-like visual effects making that possible.
** Robert Picardo, The Doctor from ''Voyager'', guest starred in the episode "Doctor Bashir, I Presume", playing the The Doctor's creator, Doctor Lewis Zimmerman.
** No less than Creator/GeorgeTakei took part in VOY's ''Flashback'', which builds on Tuvok's service onboard the ''U.S.S. Excelsior'' under Sulu's command. Tuvok also appeared in a {{mirror universe}} episode and interacted with the [=DS9=] principles for a scene.
--->'''[[http://docohobigfinish.blogspot.co.uk/2012/03/deep-space-nine-season-three.html Joe Ford]]''': Whilst is nice to see a crossover of [=DS9=] and Voyager, the only actor who isn’t let off the reins in ''Through the Looking Glass'' is Tim Russ, which figures given the show he has been leased from. This is the dull old Tuvok [[TheComplainerIsAlwaysWrong that sours the sister show.]]
** The events of ''First Contact'' formed the basis for a ''Series/StarTrekEnterprise'' episode, "Regeneration", which ties neatly ([[ContinuitySnarl sort of]]) into the Borg's first appearance in TNG's "Q Who".
* ''Series/{{Tinsel}}'' was [[{{Pun}} crossed over]] by ''Jacob's Cross'' during the brief engagement between Phillip Ade-Williams and Chi-Chi Nwachukwu-Abayomi.
* ''Series/TopGear'' crossed over with ''Series/GroundForce'' for [[UsefulNotes/ComicRelief Sport Relief]] calling the one-off ''Top Ground Gear Force''. They ended up destroying Sir Steve Redgrave's garden in typical Top Gear fashion.
* ''Franchise/ToeiTokusatsu'':
** ''Series/MetalHeroes''
*** The first three series, ''[[Series/SpaceSheriffGavan Gavan]]'', ''[[Series/SpaceSheriffSharivan Sharivan]]'' and ''[[Series/SpaceSheriffShaider Shaider]]'' formed the Space Sheriff trilogy. Sharivan was introduced in the final episodes of ''Gavan'', characters introduced in ''Gavan'' became recurring characters in ''Sharivan'', and the three Space Sheriffs united in the finale of ''Shaider''.
*** The thirty-first episode of ''Series/KidouKeijiJiban'' was a SidelinedProtagonistCrossover with the previous series, ''Series/SekaiNinjaSenJiraiya'', featuring Jiban teaming-up with supporting character Manabu Yamaji.
*** The Rescue Police trilogy was formed by ''Series/TokkeiWinspector'', ''Series/TokkyuuShireiSolbrain'', ''Series/TokusouExceedraft''. ''Solbrain'' retained [[TheMentor Shunsuke Masaki]] and had an arc featuring the return of the ''Winspector'' team, after which [[TheHero Ryouma Kagawa]] stayed on as [[SixthRanger Knight Fire]]. Though the connection is downplayed in ''Exceedraft'', Masaki returns in its final episodes.
*** The two-part finale of ''Series/JuukouBFighter'' was a crossover with ''Series/TokusouRoboJanperson'' and ''Series/BlueSWAT''.
*** ''Juukou B-Fighter'' was immediately followed by a sequel series, ''Series/BFighterKabuto'', with characters from the first series resurfacing as recurring characters.
* The ''Franchise/UltraSeries'' tends to see the heroes (and monsters) of the various series cross-over with each other, especially in the movies.
** ''Series/{{Ultraman}}'' and [[Series/KamenRider the original]] ''Franchise/KamenRider'' had a crossover short in the early '90s, unexpected considering each series is from a [[Creator/TsuburayaProductions different]] [[Creator/{{Toei|Company}} company]].
** The 40th anniversary series, ''Series/UltramanMebius'' had many crossovers with the Showa Ultra series throughout its run, be it from classic monsters to the older heroes showing up for a team-up. TheMovie, ''Film/UltramanMebiusAndTheUltraBrothers'' takes this up to eleven. Justified by the fact that the series takes place in the Showa universe 25 years afterwards.
** The 2010s Ultra Series feature these as one of the main attractions of their movies, but ''Series/UltramanX'' is more notable in that it featured in-series crossovers with ''Series/UltramanMax'', ''Series/UltramanNexus'', and ''Series/UltramanGinga S'', all as part of the storyline.
** As mentioned earlier monsters from earlier shows tend to appear frequently in later ones, but the biggest examples asides from ''Mebius'' above are ''Series/UltramanMax'' and ''Series/UltraGalaxyMegaMonsterBattle''.
* ''Series/TwoAndAHalfMen'' with the ''Series/CSIVerse'' franchise, on the episodes "Fish in a Drawer" and "Two and a Half Deaths," where each show's writing team wrote the other show's episode.
* ''Series/TwoPintsOfLagerAndAPacketOfCrisps'' is crossed over with fellow BBC Three shows ''Grownups'' (which also stars Sheridan Smith, who plays Janet in ''Two Pints'') and ''Series/ComingOfAge'' for the show's UsefulNotes/ComicRelief special.
* Creator/TheWB once had a night dedicated to crossing over their shows. A character from one show would pop up in another, mostly for laughs and night contribute much to episode's plot. It was parodied in that night's episode of ''Series/UnhappilyEverAfter'', wherein [[Series/SisterSister Jackee Harry]] and hinted that Series/TheWayansBros were "waiting in the car".
* UsefulNotes/ComicRelief did a crossover short between ''Series/TheVicarOfDibley'' and ''Series/{{Ballykissangel}}'' called "Ballykissdibley".
* The Polish CrimeAndPunishmentSeries ''W-11'' and ''Detektywi'' made at least one such crossover: an episode on ''Detektywi'' was the first part, depicting the eponymous detectives investigating a case; then, for the second part, the policemen of ''W-11'' took over.
* ''8 Out of 10 Cats'' does ''Series/{{Countdown}}'' (twice) and ''Series/DealOrNoDeal'' (once -- and it's the first [=DoND=] UK episode not hosted by Noel Edmonds).
* The "Tommy Westphall Universe" (or, alternatively, "The JustForFun/JohnMunch Principle") ties dozens of television series from the 1960s to the present through the characters of Tommy Westphall from ''Series/StElsewhere'' (who is revealed to have imagined the entire series in the final scene of the final episode "The Last One") and JustForFun/JohnMunch, the Baltimore detective who has made crossover appearances in many television series (including the ''Franchise/LawAndOrder'' canon, ''Series/TheXFiles'' and ''Series/HomicideLifeOnTheStreet''). Thanks to Munch's crossovers and cameos, as well as shared elements and names that occur between different franchises and series, a theorem was developed showcasing the connections. More than ''90%'' of all television shows are connected via crossover, including the entire ''Series/AllInTheFamily'' franchise, ''Series/TheWire'', the entire ''Franchise/LawAndOrder'' franchise, every major medical drama made in the '90s and '00s, and many more. As of Creator/DisneyChannel's 2015 Monstober event, the Franchise/DisneyChannelLiveActionUniverse is the newest inclusion to this hypothesis, via ''Series/GirlMeetsWorld'' (a spinoff of ''Series/BoyMeetsWorld'', one of the shows said to be linked via the hypothesis) being one of the shows to cross over with other Disney shows.
* Cannon (from the detective show of the same name) guest starred in the pilot for ''Series/BarnabyJones'' - the two series later had a two-part crossover in "The Deadly Conspiracy", which began on ''Barnaby Jones'' and finished on ''Cannon''.
* On a flashback episode of ''Series/GreenAcres'' set during UsefulNotes/WorldWarII, Eddie Albert's character, about to be sent as an operative behind enemy lines, is told, if he fears capture, to seek out Stalag 13 and be rescued by ''Series/HogansHeroes''.
* And now ''Series/{{Bones}}'' appears to take place in the same 'verse as ''Series/SleepyHollow'', meaning viewers have to be doubly worried about long-dead bodies having a chance of suddenly getting up and walking. Oh, and that one time Booth thought he saw a ghost can now be seen in a new light. To be fair, though, the ''Bones'' side of the crossover had nothing supernatural, you know, besides the presence of a man who was born centuries ago.
* A crossover links ''Series/{{Arrow}}'' (and, by extension, ''Series/TheFlash2014'', ''WesternAnimation/{{Vixen}}'', and ''Series/LegendsOfTomorrow'') with ''Series/{{Constantine}}''. And now Constantine suddenly shows up in ''Legends of Tomorrow'', just as the show starts to get ridiculously magic-heavy.
* The first season of ''Series/{{Supergirl 2015}}'' featured a crossover with ''Series/{{The Flash|2014}}'', (and by extension, ''Series/{{Arrow}}'', ''WesternAnimation/{{Vixen}}'', ''Series/{{Constantine}}'', and ''Series/LegendsOfTomorrow''). This was foreshadowed by a vision of Supergirl in an episode of ''The Flash'', when Barry's is crossing from Earth 1 to Earth 2. In the crossover episode, Barry accidentally ends up in Supergirl's world, after attempting dimensional travel again. One of the themes of the episode is his attempt to find a way home to his own world, while helping out Supergirl battle her enemies. After first encountering her, Barry drops the names of several heroes and villains (including Green Arrow, Firestorm, and Zoom) and is dismayed to find out that no one on this world has ever heard of either them or him. He himself is amazed to discover that aliens are real. He ends up helping to retrofit the city's prison, allowing it to contain individuals with superpowers. He then has Supergirl help him reach the necessary speed to perform a dimensional jump and then throw him through the breach (which he knew thanks to previously helping Eobard Thawne return to his own time).
* ''Series/SeventySevenSunsetStrip'' frequently had crossovers with spinoff shows ''Series/Surfside6,'' ''Series/HawaiianEye'' and ''Series/BourbonStreetBeat'' Shooting all four shows simultaneously on the Creator/WarnerBros lot made it quite easy.
* ''Series/{{Scandal}}'' and ''Series/HowToGetAwayWithMurder'' --the former created by Creator/ShondaRhimes and the latter produced by her-- crossed over for a storyline in early 2018, which hadn't been established as existing within the same fictional universe until that point. They did share a programming block on Thursday nights, however.
* Discovery Communications seems to have a bit of a thing for having people featured on their programs consult with one another.
** In celebration of his thirtieth birthday, [[Series/JonAndKatePlusEight Jon Gosselin]] fixed up a bike with some help from the guys from ''Series/AmericanChopper'' (although Creator/{{TLC}} wouldn't let him keep the bike);
** On more than one occasion, [[Series/NineteenKidsAndCounting the Duggars]] have consulted with the team from ''Series/SayYesToTheDress'';
** An episode of ''Series/CakeBoss'' sees Lisa doing the same when she and Buddy prepare to renew their wedding vows.
** An episode of ''Garage Rehab'' had Richard make an offer to the owners of one garage to fix it up, only to be rejected. While he and his crew are wondering what they're going to do to fill time, they get a call from ''Street Outlaws''' Farmtruck and Azn about helping a garage in Oklahoma City.
* While at the beach, Logan and Carlos of ''Series/BigTimeRush'' meet up with Patchy the Pirate of ''WesternAnimation/SpongeBobSquarePants''.
** Series/MarvinMarvin met up with the ''Big Time Rush'' cast in "[[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin Big Time Marvin]]".
* Series/CaptainKangaroo and {{Series/Mister Rogers|Neighborhood}} made appearances on each other's shows.
** Likewise, Fred Rogers appeared on ''Series/SesameStreet'', and Big Bird appeared on Rogers' show in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe.
** Likewise, Creator/LeVarBurton from ''Series/ReadingRainbow'' and ''Series/BillNyeTheScienceGuy'' also made appearances with Mr. Rogers.
* ''Series/ICarly'' had the crossover episodes "iParty With Series/{{Victorious}}" and "iMeet Series/{{Fred}}."
** In "iStart a Fanwar", Eric, Craig, and Gavin from ''Series/DrakeAndJosh'' make an appearance, along with Stacey Dilsen from ''Series/{{Zoey101}}''.
** And ''Series/SamAndCat'' had appearances by characters from ''[=iCarly=]'' and ''Victorious'' (Freddie and Gibby from the former, and Robbie, Jade and Sikowitz from the latter).
* Not only did ''Series/LabRats'' and ''Series/MightyMed'' have a crossover in 2015, but both shows would be followed by an entire crossover ''series'' in ''Series/LabRatsEliteForce''.
* ''Series/ReadingRainbow'''s episode "The Bionic Bunny Show" took us behind the scenes of ''Series/StarTrekTheNextGeneration'', on which host Creator/LeVarBurton played Geordi La Forge. Notably, it included the only official HilariousOuttakes of TNG released for over a decade. TNG later completed the crossover by including this episode of ''Reading Rainbow'' as a bonus feature on the Blu-Ray of the second season.
* Before the DCLAU, there were the TGIF full-night crossovers on ABC. For example, there was one such event in 1996 with ''Series/SabrinaTheTeenageWitch'', ''Series/BoyMeetsWorld'', ''Series/TeenAngel'', and ''YouWish'' where the wise cracking wizard-turned-cat Salem uses a [[TimeyWimeyBall temporal]] [[http://www.poobala.com/timeball.html ball]] and starts some shear fun.
* Pat Tuesday and George Frankly from ''Series/SquareOneTV'''s Mathnet appeared in the ''Series/WhereInTheWorldIsCarmenSandiego'' episode "Minnehaha: The Filching of the Falls" to provide a clue.
* In the early years of ''Series/TheSunnySideUpShow'', characters from Creator/{{Sprout}} shows and blocks often made guest appearances. This was downplayed when the block moved to 30 Rockefeller Center in New York in 2014, as it focused more on [[SesameStreetCred featuring celebrity guests]].
* When relations between the Soviet Block and the West were warming up, the Soviet (now Russian) puppet show ''Good Night, Little Ones!'' (Спокойной ночи, малыши!) had crossovers with both ''Series/MisterRogersNeighborhood'' and ''Franchise/TheMuppets'' in 1988.
