[=Zero9teen=] (often abbreviated to "019") is a Lets Player who joined Platform/YouTube on August 4, 2006.

His first videos, filmed using the early and crude "camera in front of the television method", involved the demo of the then-upcoming ''VideoGame/DeadRising'', and were based around exploring the demo, screwing around, and generally just having fun with the game. Later videos began branching out into other games such as ''VideoGame/MegaManZX'', ''VideoGame/SonicTheHedgehog2006'', and ''VideoGame/BulletWitch'', with his first "true" Let's Play videos (dubbed "019 Plays") being of one of his favorite games of all time, ''VideoGame/Sonic3AndKnuckles''.

Unlike other Let's Players like WebVideo/{{Markiplier}} and WebVideo/PewDiePie who are very hyperactive, [=Zero9teen=] is much more laid back and relaxed. His videos often involve him pulling off difficult and awesome feats such as obtaining all Chaos Emeralds and Super Emeralds in ''Sonic 3 & Knuckles'', and some witty snarking and quips, with the occasional spectacular EpicFail.

During his time on [=YouTube=], there would be long periods of time when [=Zero9teen=] would go on hiatus lasting at least a year, with the main reason being changes to his lifestyle. He has since gone on to mainly and regularly making Let's Play videos on Platform/{{Twitch}}, occasionally uploading the streams to his [=YouTube=] channel.

!![=Zero9teen=] and his videos provide examples of:

* AbortedArc: Subverted in regards to his Let's Play of ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaOcarinaOfTime''. It only lasted two videos on [=YouTube=] utilizing an emulator and ROM of the original Nintendo 64 game, but he would eventually revisit the game on Twitch using the Gamecube version.
* AmericanKirbyIsHardcore: Discussed in his video on ''VideoGame/KirbyAirRide''. He notes that, when he first bought the game, his friend's dad made fun of him for it since he thought the game cover looked "kiddy". A freeze frame of the cover then pops up with [=Zero9teen=] noting how angry Kirby looks on the cover.
* {{Angrish}}: Completely averted with [=Zero9teen=]'s more relaxed style of videos. Notably, in his Let's Play of ''VideoGame/SonicTheHedgehog2006'' (a game of which many Let's Plays involve the players getting angry), he never once gets angry or upset.
* AuthorAppeal: He's very much a fan of ''Sonic the Hedgehog'', with his collection sometimes showing up in videos.
* BadassBoast: [[VideoGame/{{Stranglehold}} "What's up, man, what's up?! Yeah! I can take bullets too!"]]
* BreatherEpisode: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7I6K9e_h39o&t=49s 019 Goes for a Drive.]]
* CausticCritic: Usually averted. The closest he ever gets to this trope are his Let's Plays of ''VideoGame/ShadowTheHedgehog'' (which is filled with constant snarking at the game's expense in regards to it blatantly being DarkerAndEdgier) and ''[[VideoGame/SonicBoom Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric]]'' (where he makes his dislike of the game very clear).
* MediaNotes/ConsoleWars: Discussed and rejected in An Evening With [=Zero9teen=], where he states that all consoles have their advantages and disadvantages, and defends the [=PlayStation=] 3 when noting that people were mad at him for buying one.
* DeadpanSnarker: His videos are plentiful with witty commentary, or at least attempts at such.
** His Twitch Let's Play videos on the 3D Sonic games. Despite being a huge ''Franchise/SonicTheHedgehog'' fan, he's more than willing to poke fun at the games' flaws. His ''VideoGame/ShadowTheHedgehog'' Let's Play is especially notable for making fun of the game's attempts at being DarkerAndEdgier.
* EarlyInstallmentWeirdness: Being a ''very'' early Let's Player from 2006, some of his videos use the "camera in front of the television" method, which can be hard to get used to for those used to modern Let's Play videos. His videos eventually started using a capture card, and he nowadays streams videos on Twitch.
* EpicFail: Despite being very good at the games he plays, these moments still crop up, and are utterly hilarious when they do.
** During his video on ''VideoGame/SpiderMan3'' for the Xbox 360, he decides to go web-swinging while playing "Leave You Far Behind" as background music... only for Spider-Man to die by landing flat onto an unseen building before any web-swinging can commence.
** When he gets to the Rambi Rumble level of ''VideoGame/DonkeyKongCountry2DiddysKongQuest'', his first attempt at the level sees him get caught by the giant bee chasing Rambi. His second attempt is more successful... but starts out by running in the wrong direction into the giant bee.
** Part of the enjoyment of his first two Let's Play videos on ''VideoGame/SuperMonkeyBall'', due to his many attempts at shortcuts resulting in failure.
* TheFaceless: He's almost never shown his entire face on-camera, with the most ever shown being his chin and a couple glimpses in An Evening With [=Zero9teen=]. While initially unintentional, [[ThrowItIn he decided to simply go along with this trope]] after fans began asking him to reveal his face.
* GenreSavvy: He notes in his Let's Play of ''VideoGame/Kirby64TheCrystalShards'' that it's a good idea in platforming games to go backwards, since there's a chance that the developers could have hid something behind you.
* HeroOnHiatus: Took year-long hiatuses during his tenure on [=YouTube=], with only occasional update videos. Averted after moving to Twitch, as he's started streaming with regularity.
* {{Improv}}: Sometimes improvs lyrics to in-game music, such as this example from his ''VideoGame/Sonic3AndKnuckles'' Let's Play during one of the Special Stages...
-->Going after the blue spheres is really tricky business.\
Gonna hit this orange one now, I'm hopping through the air like that.
-->Collecting rings is my favorite thing,
-->and I have no idea where I'm going.
-->Look for the 13 remaining blue spheres,
-->and you will get the Super Emerald!
* OhCrap: The chase segment with the giant bee in [[VideoGame/DonkeyKongCountry2DiddysKongQuest Rambi Rumble]], the music of which he compares to the Sonic drowning music.
* OrphanedSeries: The Let's Play of ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaOcarinaOfTime'', at least until he revisited the game on Twitch.
* PrecisionFStrike: While he's not adverse to the occasional heavy cursing or even dropping the F-bomb, his videos usually involve light cursing at best, making it more notable when he does drop the F-bomb.
* RunningGag: Dubbing any advanced techniques as "Wave X" (i.e. "Wave Dashing", "Wave Holding", etc.)
** Referring to [[VideoGame/SonicTheHedgehog2006 Blaze the Cat]] as the "420 Blaze It the Cat".
* SickEpisode: For a brief period of time, his ankle was broken and had to be put into a cast. He still streamed on Twitch, during which he had a camera showing off his ankle, dubbed either the "Bionic Ankle Cam" or "Speed Shoe Cam".
* SelfDeprecation: Sometimes. A few of his Twitch videos in particular have him refer to himself as "[=WashedUp19=]".
* ShipperOnDeck: His Let's Play of ''VideoGame/SonicAdventure [[UpdatedRerelease DX: Director's Cut]]'' has him stating that Tails' story is about his [[HeroWorship huge crush on Sonic]].
* TakeThat: While utilizing the infinite jump glitch with Knuckles in the overworld in ''Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric'', [=Zero9teen=] gets a good view of the lackluster background scenery beyond the explorable game world, and uses it to deliver a subtle, yet scathing jab towards Sega and Big Red Button.
-->Let's check out the world of ''Sonic Boom''. Look at all the [[BlatantLies rich detail they put into the background]]. Let's compare this to the likes of ''VideoGame/SonicUnleashed''. Remember Spagonia? Remember Apotos? Remember any freakin' level from ''Sonic Unleashed'' with the Hedgehog Engine? And look at what we're getting now, look at this over here. We have freakin' cardboard cutout backgrounds... look at that flat cliffside. We've got sprites, we've got flat imagery. This is what came out ''years'' after ''Sonic Unleashed'', you guys. This is ''years'' after ''Sonic Unleashed'', on newer hardware, and this is what we come up with. Thank you, Big Red Button for all your hard work. Thank you, Sega for your great decision-making.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Admits to loving spicy foods and covering almost anything he eats with Frank's Red Hot Sauce.
* WhatCouldHaveBeen: When discussing ''VideoGame/SonicUnleashed'', he argued that the game, which mixes together fast-paced platforming stages with slower beat-em-up stages, could have very easily been another ''[[VideoGame/Sonic3AndKnuckles Sonic & Knuckles]]'' game, with Knuckles standing in for Sonic the Werehog.
