3	Walter Jack Gotell (March 15, 1924 – May 5, 1997) was a German actor.

5	A refugee from UsefulNotes/NaziGermany, Gotell went into acting soon after his arrival in England in the 1940s, beginning a long and prolific career as a character actor.

7	FakeRussian ''par excellence'' with many such roles to his name, most notably his role as General Anatol Gogol in the Film/JamesBond films from ''Film/TheSpyWhoLovedMe'' to ''Film/TheLivingDaylights''[[note]]His role in the last of these was a one-scene cameo; due to ill-health, his intended role in the story was filled by SuspiciouslySimilarSubstitute General Pushkin (Creator/JohnRhysDavies)[[/note]].
