LOGO is a LGBT-themed cable channel launched in 2005 out of the ruins of the MusicVideo channel Creator/VH1 Mega Hits (which seemed to solely exist to air Music/Nickelback and Music/MatchboxTwenty videos on a never-ending loop), outlasting the similarly themed Q Network that came out (pardon the pun) around the same time. The channel features a varied line up, including news and original programming, though travelogues, talk shows and stand-up and sketch comedy seem to beare significant parts of the schedule.

The most successful show on the channel is Series/RuPaulsDragRace, a RealityShow where drag legend [=RuPaul=] crowns "America's Next Queen Superstar". Drag Race is responsible for saving Logo from NetworkDecay, as it revitalized interest in the channel after the cancellation of WesternAnimation/RickAndSteveTheHappiestGayCoupleInAllTheWorld (a raunchy cartoon animated with Playmobil) and Series/NoahsArc (a soap opera featuring primarily gay men of color).

The channel also includes repeats of shows LGBTFanbase popular with the LGBT crowd, such as Series/BuffyTheVampireSlayer, Series/Roseanne, and Series/TheGoldenGirls. Logo also owns several websites, including NewNowNext.

From 2016 to 2018, LOGO was the US broadcaster of the Series/EurovisionSongContest airing the final but skipping the semis, featuring original commentary from LOGO personalities Michelle Collins and Carson Kressley in 2016, Ross Matthews and Michele Visage in 2017 but without voting (or participation) privileges, as LOGO isn't a member of the Eurovision Broadcasting UnionWhich has several US broadcasters as associate members (but not Viacom, LOGO's parent company). Creator/Netflix gained the U.S. rights in 2019 in preparation for the release of its film Film/EurovisionSongContestTheStoryOfFireSaga the following year.

In 2017, premieres of [=RuPaul=]'s Drag Race moved to Creator/VH1. Logo still airs repeats, but much of the programming on the network belongs to sitcom repeats (some of which have nothing or nearly nothing to do with their target demographic, such as Series/MarriedWithChildren), along with sprinklings of their original programming. The network hasn't been completely forgotten about however, as premieres of [=RuPaul=]'s Drag Race UK were shown on Logo exclusively in the U.S. in 2019. However, most of the network’s original output is regulated to the digital space, such as their website and social media accounts.
