| !![[VideoGame/Persona5 More tropes? For real?]] |
| * AlliterativeName: '''M'''ax '''M'''ittelman. [[SubvertedTrope Subverted]] with his full name, however. |
| * MemeAcknowledgement: He seems to be aware of the jokes surrounding both [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_BCGVQJUcTc Leo and tomatoes, and Gray's "Shut up, Tobin" line]]. |
| * PigeonholedVoiceActor: A large majority of his roles are either an OrdinaryHighSchoolStudent or a BadassNormal. |
| ** His video game repertoire seems to focus on {{Agent Peacock}}s. |
| * PlayingAgainstType: As Inaho Kaizuka from ''Aldnoah.Zero''. |
| ** Also as [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold Leo]] in ''Fire Emblem Fates''. He used a more mature and older sounding voice to distinguish him from the younger sounding Kaden and Forrest. |
| ** He also voices Albert in ''VideoGame/{{Shadowverse}}'', who spots a deep LargeHam voice. |
| ** [=McBurn=] in ''VideoGame/TheLegendOfHeroesTrailsOfColdSteel'' is another BaritoneOfStrength, but this time an outright growler who's BrilliantButLazy to the extreme. |
| ** As Troy Calypso in ''Borderlands 3'', a villanous livestreamer and the ChessmasterSidekick of the Children of the Vault. |
| ** He also plays the BigBad [[Manga/HunterXHunter Meruem]]. |
| * StarMakingRole: While his role as Sewashi (Soby) from ''Doraemon'' is what got him a lot of recognition and popularity within the anime fandom, he would go on a big break as an anime voice actor with his roles as Hikari Sakishima in ''Anime/NagiAsuALullInTheSea'', Inaho Kaizuka in ''Anime/AldnoahZero'' and Kousei Arima in ''Manga/YourLieInApril''. Saitama from ''Webcomic/OnePunchMan'' helped to solidify his stardom. And ''then'' he voiced Ryuji Sakamoto in ''VideoGame/Persona5'', with his performance there making him a (comparative) household name. |
