Claude Ernest Bertrand (March 24, 1919 - December 14, 1986) was a French actor and voice actor.

As with many French voice actors of the older generations, he started off on stage. He made his film debut in Jean Delannoy's ''Mayerling's Secret'' in 1948, then kept appearing as {{bit character}}s on film and television (such as in ''[[Series/ArseneLupin1971 Arsène Lupin]]''). He often played in televised stage plays in the show ''Au théâtre ce soir'' ("At the Theatre Tonight") such as ''Theatre/ArsenicAndOldLace''.

He dubbed some roles of Creator/JohnWayne (the few that Creator/RaymondLoyer didn't dub), as well as a number of roles of Creator/BurtLancaster, Creator/BudSpencer, Creator/RogerMoore (''Series/TheSaint'', ''Series/ThePersuaders'' and all of his ''Film/JamesBond'' films, most famously), Creator/CharlesBronson and Creator/EliWallach (such as Tuco in ''Film/TheGoodTheBadAndTheUgly''). He could greatly modify his range, going from "tough no-nonsense BaritoneOfStrength" for Wayne, Lancaster, Spencer and Bronson to a much smoother and gentlemanly tone with Moore.

Animation-wise, he dubbed characters in Creator/{{Disney}} productions such as Jasper in ''WesternAnimation/OneHundredAndOneDalmatians'', Baloo in ''WesternAnimation/{{The Jungle Book|1967}}'', Thomas O'Malley in ''WesternAnimation/TheAristocats'', King Leonidas in ''Film/BedknobsAndBroomsticks'' and Little John in ''WesternAnimation/{{Robin Hood|1973}}'', as well as Captain Haddock in the Belvision era ''Franchise/{{Tintin}}'' animated films, several characters in Creator/HannaBarbera series and Dr. Zero in ''[[Anime/CaptainHarlock Space Pirate Captain Harlock]]''.
