3Vincent Ropion (born January 16, 1962) is a French actor and voice actor.

5Ropion made his voice acting debut in 1976; some of his earlier roles in the field included Franchise/{{Tarzan}}'s son Boy, Anthony Brown in ''Manga/CandyCandy'', Haruo Shusho ("Salta") in ''Anime/UFORoboGrendizer'' and Flip Phillips in ''Series/HappyDays''.

7French folks who grew up in the latter part of TheEighties and in TheNineties know him best as the voice of Ryo Saeba ([[DubNameChange "Nicky Larson"]] in French [[note]] with the exception of the movies, specials and the AlternateUniverse spinoff ''Manga/AngelHeart'' where he retains his original Japanese name though Ropion still voiced him in those [[/note]]) in ''Manga/CityHunter'', Tatewaki Kuno ("Julian Storm") in ''Manga/RanmaOneHalf'', Roberto Hongo in ''Manga/CaptainTsubasa'', Rei in ''High School! Kimengumi'', Pierrot in ''WesternAnimation/IlEtaitUneFois'', Raphael in the first two seasons of the 1987 ''WesternAnimation/{{Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles|1987}}'' series, and ComicBook/{{Spirou|AndFantasio}} in the 1992 series. More recently, he has voiced Jaskier/Dandelion in the ''[[Franchise/TheWitcher Witcher]]'' games starting with ''VideoGame/TheWitcher2AssassinsOfKings'', François in ''ComicBook/{{Titeuf}}'', and Gyro Gearloose in the new ''WesternAnimation/{{DuckTales|2017}}''.

9He regularly dubs Creator/DominicMonaghan (most famously Merry Brandybuck in ''Film/TheLordOfTheRings''), Creator/GarretDillahunt, Creator/RogerBart and Creator/NeilPatrickHarris.

11He was married to voice actress Catherine Privat, with whom he had two daughters, Joséphine and Ophélie. He has since remarried to voice actress Delphine Braillon, with whom he had another daughter, Lana.
