5	Robert Paul "Tad" Williams (born March 14, 1957 in San Jose, California) is a popular {{Fantasy}} and SpeculativeFiction author of the late 20th century, known for [[{{Doorstopper}} long epic stories]] with numerous characters. He's also known for [[SubvertedTrope subverting]] and [[DeconstructedTrope deconstructing]] many tropes of these genres, with particular focus on things like PropheticFallacy and EarnYourHappyEnding.
