5He was a familiar face in British cinema for three decades, mostly playing small parts such as Cockneys, workers, porters, clerks, or cab drivers in films such as ''Film/PassportToPimlico'', ''Film/DoctorInTheHouse1954'', ''I'm All Right Jack'', ''Film/CarryOnNurse'', ''The Amorous Prawn'', ''The Early Bird'', ''Film/{{Alfie}}'', and ''Film/TalesFromTheCrypt''

7Locke also appeared in numerous roles on TV, making guest appearances in ''Series/DixonOfDockGreen'', ''Series/HancocksHalfHour'', ''Series/ZCars'', and ''Series/RandallAndHopkirkDeceased''. His final acting role was that of a gardener in a 1977 episode of ''Just William''.
