''Bad Kids Go to Hell'' was a 2009 four-issue horror comic mini-series from Creator/AntarcticPress, written by Matthew Spradlin and Barry Wernick, with artwork by Anthony Vargas. It's a horror story described as "''Film/TheBreakfastClub'' meets ''Film/TheGrudge''". The story is set at Crestview Academy, a prep school for the town's social elite (i.e., rich kids). Six of the kids are given detention for varying reasons and forced to come to school that following Saturday to serve it. When the pipes burst in the classroom, they're moved into the recently built library of the school. As they talk, the conversation moves into the history of the land the school is built on, which is supposedly haunted. Bored and having nothing else to do, the group decide to hold a seance to call upon the spirits...and it pretty much goes downhill from there.

!!Tropes:
* AirVentPassageway: Matt attempts to use the ducts to escape the library, but they collapse under his weight. The lighter Tarvek is later able to use them to actually get outside. For all the good that does him.
* BetterManhandleTheMurderWeapon: Just before the police arrive, [[spoiler:Dr. Day]] throws the fire axe to Matt, who instinctively catches it; thereby ensuring that his fingerprints are on the murder weapon.
* BucketBoobyTrap: Craig rigs a bowl punch to the curtain mechanism on the stage so it will fall on Tricia when the curtains are opened.
* CosmicPlaything: Matt Clark; it's even lampshaded.
* ContrivedCoincidence[=/=]DisproportionateRetribution: Pretty much anything that happens to Matt during his flashbacks of his encounters with the others in detention.
* DeusAxMachina: There is a fire axe inside the new library. Matt smashes the glass and grabs it in an attempt to break down the doors, but Tarek says it won't work as the doors are steel-cored (raising the question of why the axe is there at all). As the situation gets worse, the axe is fought over by various characters. [[spoiler:Dr. Day]] eventually sinks into the head of [[spoiler:Veronica]].
* DownerEnding: [[spoiler: Matt is set up to be framed for killing the detention kids, but the vengeful spirits finally act and take out the planner of the scheme. Unfortunately, the cops burst in with Matt, the sole survivor, standing there with axe in hand. He tries to tell them what really happened but is hauled off to the loony bin.]]
* DrivenToSuicide: [[spoiler: Tricia when the supposed supernatural elements get to her and she kills herself with a nail gun.]]
* ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice: Following a StaircaseTumble, [[spoiler:Craig]] is impaled upon a crutch with enough force that his heart is stuck on the end of his crutch outside his body.
* {{Jerkass}}: Pretty much every character save for Matt, who's mostly rough around the edges.
* LaxativePrank: Veronica spikes Dr. Day's coffee with eye drops. While this is supposed to give him diarrhea, it actually makes him puke his guts out.
* MistakenForMasturbating: When Megan is doing her striptease, Matt is trying to close his zipper, which is stuck because of the wet paint that got spilled on it. However, his frantic tugging at his crotch makes it looks like he is doing something else; especially to Principal Nash.
* NailEm: A nail gun left behind by the construction crew is used by Matt to kill [[spoiler:Tarek]], and by [[spoiler:Tricia]] to commit suicide.
* OffWithHisHead: [[spoiler:Dr. Day]] is decapitated by the tomahawk on the sculpture of the Indian battling the serpent.
* ScoobyDooHoax: [[spoiler: One that actually works, but greed and real supernatural elements prevent the bad guys from getting away.]]
* ScrewTheRulesIHaveMoney
* ShoutOut: To bands Music/BlackSabbath and Music/{{Wasp}}.
* ShovelStrike: [[spoiler:Dr. Day]] smacks Tarvek with a shovel when he emerges from the vents.
* StaircaseTumble: Craig tumbles down the library stairs after being hit in the face by Tricia [[spoiler:and winds up being fatally impaled on one of his crutches]].
* ThrowTheBookAtThem: Tricia hits Craig in the face with a hardcover book, resulting in a [[spoiler:fatal]] StaircaseTumble.
