1	The characters present in the Jamaican reggae/dancehall series ''Stir It Up,'' done by the Music/TwinOfTwins duo (Patrick and Paul Gaynor). Nearly all of the voices are done by the Twins, and most of the characters are {{Exp\|y}}ies of the real-life persons they are intended to portray.

5	!!Ian Lyad
6	One of the two main hosts of the show, and supposedly the more educated and cultured of the two. He is based on real-life Jamaican journalist and sometime pastor Ian Boyne; this fact was [[LampshadeHanging lampshaded]] when the Twins appeared as guests on Mr. Boyne's television programme ''Religious Hard Talk.'' Mr. Boyne himself was quite amused at the Twins' portrayal of him via Ian Lyad.

9	** "Being very intelligent..." or some variation thereof. In fact, he uses it so often that he actually gets upset when Beenie Man attempts to use it to rebuff Bounty Killa.

11	* EveryoneHasStandards: In Volume 3, despite the fact that he doesn't like how the guest characters have invited themselves into his home, Ian is outraged at Bob's suspicion that he, Ian, would conspire with his maid to poison their dinner.

13	* MistakenForGay: During Volumes 2 and 3, Bob and Bounty Killa take some of Ian's statements out of context, resulting in this, and they threaten to kill him for it.

15	* OnlySaneMan: He certainly believes so. Considering the wacky cast that he has to put up with, one can hardly blame him.

18	The other of the show's two main hosts, he is rude, confrontational, profane and very direct. He's not afraid to let his opinion be known, and will often take verbal pot-shots at guests and occasionally at Ian. He is based on the real-life Rastafarian poet, Mutabaruka.

43	A [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin pastor]] and a frequent guest on the show, he opposes Muta on theological grounds and dispenses advice to callers. Based on Jamaican Baptist pastor and advice columnist Reverend Aaron Dumas, who is well-known for his "Tell Me Pastor" newspaper column and his "Dear Pastor" night-time radio call-in show.

48	A very controversial cop who uses less than legal methods to do his job. Based on Renato Adams, a former senior superintendent of Jamaica's police force, who gained notoriety for the March 2001 killing of seven youths in an alleged shootout in Braeton, Kingston, and for his involvement in a flare-up of violence that took place in West Kingston between July 7-10 later that same year.

68	An African couple who are introduced in Volume 7. Amuro Abugane is a university professor, and Adube is his neglected and ''very'' frustrated wife.
69	* BrokenPedestal: Professor Abugane becomes this for Muta.
70	* EstablishingCharacterMoment: Adube storms into the studio moments after her husband has left her alone in the car. This sets the stage for the listener to find out about the antagonistic relationship they have.
71	* HenpeckedHusband: Amuro eventually breaks down and offers to become this to Adube in an effort to convince her not to leave him. [[BrokenPedestal It disappoints Muta]].
72	* HypocriticalHumor: Professor Abugane brags that in Africa, if a woman cheats on her husband, he can be authorized to kill her for her infidelity, whereas a man can cheat on his wife without fear of repercussion. When Adube reveals that she's cheated on him and threatens to leave him, however, he breaks down in tears and begs her to stay, even offering to let her "rule over his head"...much to [[{{Fanboy}} Muta's]] utter disappointment.
73	* LastNameBasis: Amuro Abugane is referred to as "Abugane" by nearly all the other characters, and only his wife Adube calls him by his first name.

76	A major character introduced in Volume 10, and the VillainProtagonist of Volume 11.
77	* AbusiveParents: At one point he shouts at his own daughter and makes her cry [[DisproportionateRetribution just because he sees her as needlessly interrupting his conversation with Bingie Roy]].
78	* CainAndAbel: He is the Cain, while his cousin Bingie Roy is the Abel. [[spoiler:True to the trope, after Bingie Roy calls Big Wayne out for his lack of ambition, Big Wayne sets him up to be killed]].
79	* HateSink: He is the single most despicable character in the story arc that is started in Volume 10. Even fellow douchebag Ankle Socks has some redeeming moments (however few those may be) compared to him.
80	* ManipulativeBastard: Makes use of the ManipulativeEditing trope to try setting different persons up to kill each other or frame them for things they didn't say or do, and threatens lackeys into doing whatever he wants them to do.
81	* NeverMyFault: He refuses to even consider or remember that the reason he is still in poverty is that Bingie Roy had offered him a partnership in a snack-selling enterprise to make money for themselves, only for Wayne to turn up his nose at it because he didn't see the value of using the venture to save money over a period of time.
82	* TheResenter: Hatefully envious toward his cousin Bingie Roy for the latter's rising success and wealth from building on his entrepreneurial selling of banana chips, as well as angry at Bingie Roy for calling out his own lack of ambition to better himself.
