->''"And for what reason did you call upon me?"''

Before reviewing [[WebAnimation/PonyDotMov PONY.MOV]], Z Squared made the, as he quotes, HORRIBLE mistake of bringing his brother back from hibernation. This knight's motive is to stop [[GreaterScopeVillain "a great evil"]] by preserving films. To do this he has taken, by forced contract, 10 pop culture characters to {{review}} said films. He does some reviewing himself, but only on youtube. He is the most powerful member of the team, being able to use magic and withstand just about anything. However, this is starting to change as time goes on. And something about him feels a bit...[[TookALevelInJerkass off...]]

Post-reboot and, as of Season 4, it's revealed he's in a long-running battle with his brother, the Great Evil known as Ahnil. Currently, he's been reduced to his orb form thanks to one of Bagan's attacks.

* AccidentalHero: His portals do have a tendency to cause good, as [[Fanfic/EdEddNEddyDevilmanCrybaby one fanfic shows.]]
* AIIsACrapshoot: Occasional, his creations will fail in disastrous ways.
* AllAPartOfTheJob: He really enjoys his work and...well, it seems to be his only job.
* AntiAntichrist: Dedicated to good, despite being Nyarlathotep's spawn.
* AmbiguouslyEvil: If his actions as of late are anything to go by, he's slowly slipping into this.
* AuthorAvatar: He's actually one of the anonymous creators of the series.
** SelfDeprecation: If that's the case (and given how the story and the characters treat him), then this was apparently in mind.
* BadBoss: Or at least an incompetent one. From [[CaptiveAudience holding a bunch of characters against their will]] [[BenevolentBoss (to be fair, the payment is good)]] to, during the [[Fanfic/TheRiseOfGolus Golus arc]], not helping due to him having to finish his pizza bagels. It is no question [[LaserGuidedKarma that he was beaten up for that latter bit.]]
** Seems to be getting more pronounced as time goes on, with him acting stupider or a bit less lenient. The Portal Incident is a major example that affects the whole series, simply because he refused to take Twilight's advice.
* BerserkButton: Don't show him 2 Girls 1 Cup anytime soon...
** Or try to prove he's wrong when he tries to convince you his toys are cool.
* BewareTheNiceOnes / BewareTheSillyOnes
* BigFun: Can be this.
* {{BFS}}: He actually manages to wield one against Sin to okay effect. Other than that, it rarely comes out.
* CainAndAbel: So far, he's winding up to the be the Cain to Z-Squared's Abel, albeit of the more idiotic and kinda harmless variation. So far, at least.
** As well as Z-Squared, he's apparently the Abel to Ahnil's Cain. This is more pronounced, as they want to kill each-other due to their goals.
* TheCaptain
* CaptainErsatz: Gee, looking at his armor, [[SarcasmMode I wonder]] [[VideoGame/FinalFantasyIV where he got it.]]
** The Necrosan arc poster even [[SelfDeprecation pokes fun at it]].
* CharacterAsHimself
* CharacterizationMarchesOn: He's MUCH more incompetent in the reboot and later works, to the point of almost looking like he's doing it on purpose.
* CheatersNeverProsper: Loses against Azazel despite cheating.
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: "Good news! I caught a Plankton!" and he just kept going from there (and a bit before).
* CoolSword: Not that he sues it often.
* DarkIsNotEvil: He might look menacing, but he's as nice as the next guy.
** And a bit of an idiot.
* DealWithTheDevil: He once did this unintentionally.
* DirtyCoward: Several moments. One particular instance is when he retreats when Sin unleashes his full power and decimates the team.
* EccentricMentor
* EldritchAbomination: Really, what he is, along with Z-Squared and Ahnil, being the spawn of Nyarlathotep.
* FairWeatherFriend: Quite a few occasions have this. He gets punished for it, though.
* FoolishSiblingResponsibleSibling: The foolish one compared to Z-Squared. And he's supposed to be the older brother.
* IdiotHero: Shows signs of this. On more than one occasion.
* IncorruptiblePurePureness: This is slowly fading away as time goes on.
* {{Leitmotif}}: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ExYuyguAE3o Knight of the wind]] from VideoGame/SonicAndTheBlackKnight.
* MagicKnight
* MysteriousPast: A lot of it.
* NewPowersAsThePlotDemands: In any given situation, he's managed to pull this off.
** Thankfully, this has lessened.
* NighInvulnerability: As of now, NO-THING can at the very least put a dent in him. Godzilla didn't even get a chance to fight him before having second thoughts.
** This trope, however, is becoming [[SubvertedTrope moot]] as he was reduced to floating around in his orb form when his members beat him up for understandable reasons. Also, [[spoiler: Snippit showed us when he impaled his helmet, the same thing would happen.]]
** As of the re-writes, it's pretty much gone.
* NobodyCallsMeChicken: With Necrosan, but this has been lessening.
* NotSoStoic: Sometimes in his reviews, he'll freak out at the imagery before him. Outside of the reviews, he's less hard to shake.
** But as the fanfics progress, he's becoming a bit more looney.
* SkewedPriorities: Whenever there are pizza bagels, expect this to happen.
** And don't get us started on the Alternate Equestria incident...
* ShockAndAwe: He can summon lightning from his fingertips.
* SmallRoleBigImpact: During the 'War is Magic' arc, he's only got a few lines, though he is shown prominently at the very start. What does he do? Convince Twilight to go through with her personal portal project and, for [[NothingIsTheSameAnymore the series as a whole,]] cause the whole portal crisis that spans for the rest of the series and even way back!
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Pizza Bagels, oh so much.
** So much so that's it's becoming problematic.
* TookALevelInDumbass: The reboot. Dear god. Everyone notices this, thankfully.
** TookALevelInJerkass: Same.
* UselessProtagonist: So far, he has had no victories at all. Lampshaded, of course.
* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: Played with during the 'War is Magic' arc. On one hand, he's an idiot and he simply didn't think ahead when he caused a portal maelstrom to occur all over the multiverse. On the other hand, he refused to listen to reason outright. So...hmmmm...
* VocalEvolution: During his Frankenstein (1910) review, his voice got deeper and better to understand. All it took was a glass of water, though.
** Later, it sounded like Z-Squared. That isn't his real voice, though.
** Finally, in his review of 'White Zombie' (1932), he went right back to the deep voice.
* TheWorfEffect: Despite being able to manhandle Godzilla in the first episode, he's shown to be incredibly weak against other enemies. It comes to a head in the fourth season, where Bagan's breath attack destroys his armor for good.

->''[[CatchPhrase "Sup guys, this is Z-Squared"]]''

Z-Squared is Sir Cinemacus' younger brother and, essentially, the main character. He is almost the polar opposite of his sibling. Unlike Sir, Z is more sarcastic and isn't as prone to using formal speech. He personally thinks his brother is completely insane, and he finds his little Review Team thing to be equally as crazy. Nevertheless, he's a part of it, and he isn't too proud to admit it. He's mellowed out as time went on.

------

* AffectionateNickname: For Marceline, it's "Marce".
* AmazonChaser: If the [[ShipTease interactions]] between him and [[WesternAnimation/AdventureTime Marceline]] are any indication.
* AntiAntichrist: Much like Sir, he's the son of Nyarlathotep, but he's nothing like his old man at all.
* ArchEnemy: Necrosan, due to the dragon's obsession with his death. They even have a final fight before Z-Squared dies!
* BeautyEqualsGoodness: Averted. He's quite...deformed looking. Still, he's one of the most heroic of the original main cast. Massively averted with his true form which, while not exactly the worst-looking, is demonic but benevolent.
* BerserkButton: Anything that has to do with [[WesternAnimation/SpongebobSquarepants modern Spongebob episodes]] or [[WebAnimation/DoubleRainboom Double Rainboom]] will set him off for sure. This has been dialed back a notch to the point where it never comes up again.
** Hurting his allies is also a sure-fire way to get wrecked.
* BigNo: Near the end of his [[Film/BioDome Biodome]] review.
* BloodFromTheMouth: How he figures out he's going to die by degeneration in Season 4. It happens occasionally to hammer it in.
* ButtMonkey: Powerful or not, nothing goes his way. Well, sorta. He's gotten better...until, during Season 4, when he learned he was DYING. Oh, and he actually does die eventually.
* CausticCritic: He slips into this at times, but he has the will to find the good in bad things as well. As of late, he's stopped reviewing all-together.
* CharacterAsHimself
* CoolSword
* DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu: Earned the ire of Necrosan this way. And there's a chance he's going up the ladder...
* DuetBonding: He and Marceline do this with the song 'Just a Friend' for the fun of it.
* EldritchAbomination: Since Shadow-Squared is his true form, coupled with his mysterious past...turns out, he's the son of Nyarlathotep. Yeah. THAT one.
* EnlightenmentSuperpowers: His greatest source of power is when he meditates and focuses his rage. Forming that balance gives him greater control and, eventually, access to his true form.
%%* EnragedByIdiocy: Sometimes.
* EveryoneCanSeeIt: His budding relationship with Marceline was this, no matter how they wished to deny it.
%%* HeroesPreferSwords
* JustFriends: With Marceline. He's mature in this department. Of course, this is starting to slip. Eventually, they become an OfficialCouple...kinda.
* KilledOffForReal: Finally dies due to his degeneration in Episode 93, but not without a final fight with Ahnil and Necrosan.
* LastRequest: Writes a bucket list before he dies that he and the team manage to finish.
** LastDance: He and Marceline have this, with him transforming into Shadow-Squared in the process.
* {{Leitmotif}}: [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dpdrQNeeypA Rebellion]] from VideoGame/BlazBlue.
* MysteriousPast: He's lived through history, 1000 years of it, but his own past is all a blur.
** Eventually, in Season 4, he's revealed to be a spawn of Nyarlathotep. The youngest even, considering his brothers are thousands of years old.
* NewSuperPower: This came up as a major plot point in Season 2. It eventually led to him unlocking his true form.
* NiceGuy: Despite his powers and such, he's quite humble and a great ally.
* NonStandardCharacterDesign: He sticks out like a sore thumb, even after the art reboot.
* OneTrueThreesome: She and Marceline are together in Season 4, but she's in a committed relationship with Princess Bubblegum. Thankfully, they've worked around this.
* OnlySaneMan: He's shaping out to be this in the fanfics.
* PutOnABus: Before Season 3 gets into its first arc, him becoming Shadow Squared a second time puts him in a coma that lasts for the rest of the season. It's stated at the ending arc that he'll soon recover for Season 4. Sure enough, he does, [[YourDaysAreNumbered but...]]
* RedScare: During [[UsefulNotes/HistoryOfTheColdWar the Cold War era]], he fashioned a noise-proof helmet to block out Communist messages that might have turned up.
* SanitySlippage: This happens in his Little Cars review. And don't get us started on how he handles the non-logic in the second arc.
* ShipTease: He's treated to this with [[WesternAnimation/AdventureTime Marceline.]] As of now, they're officially dating to see where it goes.
** He's now officially the third wheel in Marceline and Bubblegum's relationship. So, it's now OfficialCouple...sorta.
* SpartanSibling: Downplayed a ton, as he still fights to protect him, but he does find some catharsis in seeing Sir get his due.
* StylisticSuck: In every drawing he's in, he's poorly drawn in comparison to everyone else. We have a series with advanced-looking creature and people of various animations styles. This guy now sticks out like a sore thumb among them all. Averted with his true form, which is drawn to the same standards as the series proper.
* SuperMode: Shadow-Squared, though it's really his true form.
* UnstoppableRage: Come Season 2 and he appears to go into this, causing his power to spike up. However, in the reboot, he meditates to better control this.
** And then he achieves a super form. However, this only achieved through achieving a balance between rage and peace.
* YourDaysAreNumbered: In Season 4, he starts to degenerate, leading to this.

!!Shadow-Squared
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/shadow_squared__personification_of_rage_and_peace_by_masterofnintendo_dcgjnwc.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:350:Remember. He's still the good guy.]]

->''"I may look scary and imposing now...But I'm going to do what you won't. Be a friend. You got yourself a heaping ton of power, but that's not satisfying, is it? You just will continue to take and take until life itself loses all meaning to you. Me? I'll focus on helping people smile. To imagine a brighter day. To give hope."

Z-Squared's true form. After episode upon episode of holding it all back, the death of Tafeli triggers this mighty transformation. One that can be seen beyond the milky way. A string of good events happen on Earth as a response. It is this form that allows Sin to be pummeled into submission. However, the form is taxing, so it's recommended this be for only last resort moments.

------

* BadassBoast: He doesn't like these, but occasionally slips into ones that could count as such.
* BewareMyStingerTail
* BigRedDevil: Comes off looking like this.
* BlasphemousBoast: Let's be fair here. He was going into this territory.
* BurningWithAnger: Check out those wings!
* CombatTentacles: His lower pair of arms are literally made out of black tentacles that can morph into anything they choose.
* DangerousForbiddenTechnique: This form is taxing on Z-Squared and could kill him if used for too long. Heck, the second time he uses it, he's in a coma. He seems to master it in Season 4, but that doesn't change the fact that it's caused him to undergo degeneration!
* DarkIsNotEvil: Despite his menacing appearance, he's one of the good guys.
* DudeLooksLikeALady: Sin got a kick out of this.
** Might also explain why [[LesYay Marceline thinks this form is actually really hot.]]
** Changed in the redesign, where he looks far more masculine.
* EldritchAbomination: Oh, YES. Look at him!
* EnergyWeapon: He can make a sword out of this that explodes on contact.
* EnlightenmentSuperpowers: Z-Squared achieved this form through meditating and focusing his rage rather than just letting it fester in him.
* {{Expy}}: Of Diablo from 'Diablo 3' and Cooler's Fifth form from 'Cooler's Revenge'. His redesign looks much more original, though.
* HotWings: What did we just say?
* KiManipulation: Capable of these.
* {{Leitmotif}}: Several. To be generous.
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Os2Uvu2K1s The Transformation theme. Though, cranked up to 50+ pitch.]]
** [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HPyWjxNjmhw When he emerges and his main theme.]]
* MaskPower
* MegatonPunch: "SUPERDUPERMEGAULTRAHYPERWATCHEMACALLIT...PUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNCCCCHHHHHHH!"
* MultiArmedAndDangerous
* NewPowersAsThePlotDemands: After defeating A.P.E.X, he manages to fix Kenya and resurrect the Ice King, but that puts him into a coma.
* ReadingsAreOffTheScale: Even Discord tries to admit nobody can have as much power as he does.
* RedEyesTakeWarning
* SuperMode
* UnstoppableRage: He is a manifestation of this.
* WithGreatPowerComesGreatInsanity: Despite being a good guy, he's a bit more savage and even a bit mocking in battle. In the reboot, however, he's much more calm and soft-spoken, though this can change.
* WorfHadTheFlu: During his battle with the Court of Ahnil, Bagan manages to tank his attacks and fight him to a stand-still. He was degenerating during then.

!!Godzilla 2000

Hailing from the Toho universe, this rather grumpy kaiju is like the other members. Namely, he didn't ask to be here and be shrunk down most of the time, but the food he gets paid is nice. It is likely he serves as the main character, aside from Z-Squared, due to how much screen-time he gets. The incarnation used is his millennium one, with major changes to his timeline as well.

------

* ADayInTheLimelight: He's got two arcs dedicated to he and his co-stars.
* AdaptationalHeroism: His film incarnation was a definite WildCard. Here, he takes after his 'Unleashed' counterpart as a protector of the Earth. Even then, he's fairly apathetic to humanity. That said, he's been known to go on rampages. Something that he's not proud of, but still pretty apathetic to.
* AntiHero: A bit more on the heroic side this time, but he still fits the bill.
* BareHandedBladeBlock: Pulls this one Destroyah in the sixth arc. He goes further by ''breaking it off.''
* BehemothBattle: Occasionally, when he's allowed to return to his full size.
* BerserkButton: Birds, considering his hatred of Giant Condors. Doubles as a MythologyGag.
* BreathWeapon: But, of course.
* BrokenAce: Only against Destroyah, which, for a while, acts as a living TraumaButton. Considering that he was the kaiju that KILLED him to begin with...
* BirdsOfAFeather: He and Heart, considering they're both adoptive single fathers, value strength, and (most of all) have a HUGE beef with Destroyah. They even look a bit alike.
* BootstrappedLeitmotif: Surprisingly, his classic theme is used sparingly.
* CanonCharacterAllAlong: Sure, Godzilla 2000 is canon, but this one is actually Godzilla Jr. Just grown up and with all the trauma that came involving Destroyah.
* CompositeCharacter: He shares many traits with Showa Godzilla, down to a few moves and having a son in Minya, as well as being Godzilla Jr. himself.
** Heck, when battling Megalon during the sixth arc, he even does the infamous flying kick move!
* DeclarationOfProtection: When Destroyah menaces he and all the rest of Egg Island, he strives to prevent anyone from suffering his pain.
* DidntWantAnAdventure: Especially in his own arc. He would rather laze away than have to put up with the Review Team's antics.
** RefusalOfTheCall: Somewhat.
* DramaticEntrance: He makes a point to do these while giant.
* EvenBadMenLoveTheirMamas: He's more morally ambiguous, but he truly does love his adoptive human mother, Gojo. When they reunite (long story), he's crying tears of joy.
* ExplosiveOverclocking: He can use the nuclear pulse move, but he's not a fan of it.
* FireForgedFriends: Aside from his fellow kaijus (especially Anguirus and Rodan), he becomes this with [[Anime/YouAreUmasou Heart]] during the sixth arc.
* {{Kaiju}}: Kaiju Alpha, that is.
* MyGreatestFailure: He's not over his loss to Destroyah, which kinda resulted in his father's death. He gets over it after the evil kaiju is defeated.
* NighInvulnerable: Averted for the most part. He can take a lot of damage, but he's not invincible.
* NightmareFace: [[https://images-wixmp-ed30a86b8c4ca887773594c2.wixmp.com/intermediary/f/4f2199e4-76a2-4819-8d49-dc6d3b32a0ba/dbhik19-4d15a081-0397-42e6-8037-cacc81a57b11.jpg/v1/fill/w_696,h_1148,q_70,strp/rt_ep__63__legend_of_kaiju_pt__5_by_masterofnintendo_dbhik19-pre.jpg YIKES.]]
* PowerGlows: Seeing his spines glow is a surefire sign to run.
* RedBaron: King of the Monsters, Kaiju Alpha, and so forth.
* SeenItAll: Sometimes, he has this sediment, such as when he walks through Tokyo. He's used to the opposition and terror. By the end of Season 3, this applies to his portal adventures.
* ShipTease: With Mothra.
** InterspeciesRomance
* SinkOrSwimFatherhood: Due to Minya's unexpected arrival, he's mostly resorted to this.
* SuperMode: When the Legendary Kaiju sacrificed themselves, they gave their power to Godzilla in order for him to defeat Bagan. Thus, [[VideoGame/SuperGodzilla Super Godzilla made his debut.]] From the looks of it, he hasn't used this form again.
* SurroundedByIdiots: It lessens as time goes on, but he sometimes feels this way.
* TraumaButton: Destroyah. Enough said. That said, defeating him for real calms him.
* TrueCompanions: Say what you will, but he really does hold his fellow kaiju in high regard. Harming them is a quick way to an early grave.
* UnstoppableRage: Beware if you piss him off enough. In fact, the kaijus in Legend of Kaiju learn this the HARD way after he's had one heck of a bad day.
* TheWorfEffect: Undergoes this at times, usually to show the audience how powerful a new foe is.

[[folder: Twilight Sparkle]]

!!Twilight Sparkle

The studious unicorn protagonist of [[WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic Equestria]]. The one notable thing is that she is in her pre-Season 3 finale appearance, having not become a princess yet. Due to Sir's idiocy, she and her friends often have to deal with their own troubles back at home or even in other universes. She currently has a daughter named Hope, which she sired with Rick.

------

* ActionMom: She's stopping calamity on the regular and still making time to take care of her kid, Hope.
** MamaBear: Don't even think of harming Hope, by extension.
* AlcoholInducedIdiocy: She made a portal machine of her own due to this. It resulted in the War is Magic arc.
* AntiMagic: Her force-fields cancel out most spells.
%%* BadassBookworm
* BadassInDistress: Ends up captured along with many other Equestrians during the Red Planet arc.
* BeamSpam: Her preferred method of magic attacks is to rapid-fire her enemies away.
* BerserkButton: Upon seeing that her alternate counterpart has [[BrotherSisterIncest married her own brother]], she just [[SickAndWrong can't take it.]]
* BewareTheNiceOnes: She's fairly rational, but beware her wrath.
* BornWinner: Being born with massive magical potential? Yep. Even though she's not an alicorn in this continuity, she certainly didn't need that when dealing with what she has to deal with.
* OfficialCouple: With Rick the Chaos Dimensioner.
* CanonDiscontinuity: In this canon, at least. Nothing during and after the Season 3 finale is accounted for. Her appearance remains the same because of it.
* TheChainsOfCommanding: Becomes the leader figure in War is Magic. She manages it quite well.
* FantasticScience: We can now add portal tech to the list, but even she knows that it's quite...unpredictable.
* {{Foil}}: To [[WebVideo/FriendshipIsWitchcraft Alternate Twilight]]. Despite being the same pony and having great power, Twilight humbly uses it to help people. Alternate Twilight is a spoiled bully who would rather destroy everything than be ignored.
* GoodIsNotSoft: Go ahead. Threaten all she holds dear. She won't hold back.
%%* HotLibrarian: Just ask Rick.
* HumbleHero: This trait is played up more. Justified, considering she's a mom now. Being laid back comes with that territory.
* InnocentProdigy: Highly praised by Celestia and destined for greater things, but she's still doing it for others.
%%* TheLeader: Basically for the Mane Six.
%%* LovableNerd
* MinoredInAssKicking: That magic of hers can be put to VERY good use. [[MoreDakka Rapid-fire attacks]] are her favorite.
* MySpeciesDothProtestTooMuch: Or, really, "My Alternate Universe doth protest much about how I'm dating a discriminated species." Specifically, her relationship with Rick is looked down upon in Alternate Ponyville.
* OnlySaneMan: She could count, but especially when she's trying to corral everyone in Ponyville Pandemonium despite the growing chaos.
* PurpleIsPowerful: Combine this with her SuperMode...
* SeenItAll: While it doesn't stop her from being surprised as many turns, she's got combat experience against these threats.
* TheSmartGuy: Serves this role, as well as trying to be the mediator during certain conflicts.
* SquishyWizard: Not too bad, but physical attacks are quite damaging to her.
* SuperMode: Thanks to being blasted with a full dose of Maelstrom energy, she has (or maybe just had) the ability to transform into a draconic creature named Maelstrom Twilight.
%%* TrueCompanions: With the rest of the Mane 6.

[[WesternAnimation/AdventureTime The hero of Ooo.]]

* AnArmAndALeg: Oddly, his robotic arm isn't brought up a lot. Perhaps due to the series being late to the party.
* AwesomeBackpack: Contains a crossbow.
* BadassAdorable / BadassNormal
* BloodKnight: He REALLY enjoys the constant battles that the team gets themselves into.
* ChronicHeroSyndrome: Why he enjoys Sir's employment of him, aside from the above reason.
** ForGreatJustice
* CoolSword / HeroesPreferSwords: A basic one, this time. No wonder he and Z-Squared get along.
* {{Determinator}}
* DemotedToExtra: He's becoming less and less prominent in the fics as time goes on. Gets to a point where he's no longer a member by the start of Season 4!
* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold
* LightningBruiser: Voodoo Justin was the first foe to realize this too late.
* ShipperOnDeck: With Z-Squared and Marceline.

------

* ActionGirl
* AntiAntiChrist: Maybe that's why Dracula and Lucifer weren't fond of her. Her father is essentially the ruler of all evil in her world.
* BattleCouple: Occasionally with Z-Squared.
* BerserkButton: Harm Simon. WE DARE YOU.
* BumblingingDad: When she and her dad hang out in the second arc, she dreads his overly long and boring stories.
* CategoryTraitor: At least, according to Valeena, as she's supposed to be a creature of darkness, therefore evil. Naturally, she doesn't buy it.
* CreepyGood: Serves as this for the team.
* CuteLittleFangs
* DarkIsNotEvil
* FriendlyNeighborhoodVampire
* GirlWithPsychoWeapon: She puts that Axe-Bass to some good use throughout the series.
* HugeGuyTinyGirl: When Z-Squared becomes Shadow-Squared, he towers over her.
* ItsPersonal: Necrosan, for killing Bubblegum and generally being a creep. Also, Micheal Stevens, for killing Simon (temporarily). Thankfully, it isn't consuming, considering she and the team have beaten them into next week.
* LastDance: With Shadow-Squared, when he's on the verge of death.
* LesbianVampire: Unabashedly.
* MasterOfNone: It says something when SNIPPIT manages to take advantage of her invisibility power, which is one of many powers that she barely uses.
* MySpeciesDothProtestTooMuch: We can add CORE Universe vampires to the ones who don't exactly agree with her philosophy. Only Valeena takes issue with that.
* NightmareFace: She's still got it, even in pre-reboot works.
* OurDemonsAreDifferent / OurVampiresAreDifferent
* Really700YearsOld: Much like Z-Squared, she's 1000 years old. Would that make her a CoolOldLady?
* RefusalOfTheCall: Rejects Dracula's offer to join him in glory, though this is actually a good thing.
* SadClown: Several moments in the series show this. Lucifer, anyone?
* ShipTease: A rather gradual and mature one with Z-Squared. It helps that their both immortal. She even brings up the idea of dating him just to see where it goes. Eventually, they (sorta) become an OfficialCouple.
* TankTopTomboy: Several times in the series. Probably a must, considering her lax attitude around the base.
* VoluntaryShapeshifting: Loves taking advantage of this, especially in battle. She can become a [[BatOutOfHell bat]], a [[SavageWolves wolf]], and even a {{Kaiju}} (which actually happened against A.P.E.X when she transformed into a massive [[TentacledTerror tentacle monster]]).
* WhoWantsToLiveForever: This fear is brought up thanks to Lucifer when he shows her a vision of her outliving everyone. Z-Squared helps her out of that funk.

** MamaBear: God help you if you laid a hand on her.
* BackFromTheDead: This is the same Mothra from Tokyo S.O.S, but the Shobijin sacrificed the larvae there to resurrect her for the Final Wars. She wasn't too happy about this.
* BadassAdorable: She may be a giant moth, but she's quite powerful.
* BehemothBattle: Whenever she grows to giant size, she dominates the skies.
* {{Kaiju}}
* BerserkButton: Don't harm her daughter. Please.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: She's very sweet and easily flustered, but she's still a powerful kaiju.
* CallingYourAttacks: As Armor Mothra.
* CompositeCharacter: She has abilities from her Heisei incarnation, but retains her Tokyo S.O.S appearance. She also gains the Armor Mothra form from the Rebirth of Mothra series.
* EnergyWeapon: She can fire these from her antennae.
* GuysSmashGirlsShoot: Averted, as she's willing to barrel-roll her opponents. As Armor Mothra, there is no worse move she can use on you than Transcending Fade.
* LadyOfWar: When she's at her most serious, she gives off this vibe.
* LegacyCharacter: Actually, she's a resurrected Mothra that was brought back through necromancy by the Shobijin. She wasn't happy about that, due to the means (the death of two Mothra larvae).
* MothMenace: To her enemies.
* PhysicalGod
* RageBreakingPoint: In Legends of Kaiju, she...obviously doesn't take it well when she realizes her race was wiped out on the basis of a lie, namely Destiny.
** Much earlier in the series, she utterly snaps at Godzilla for his treatment of Minya.
* ShipTease: With Godzilla.

* TheBrute: His preferred way of fighting.
* ForWantOfANail: What would happen if the dragon from Dragonshy happened to fall in love withe one who calmed him and took action?
* FusionDance: Thanks to Cybertronium, he ends up fusing with Sharko and Predaking into a robotic dragon at the end of the Red Planet arc, only to turn back in the end.
* HeartbrokenBadass: When it seems that Fluttershy died in the Red Planet arc, he's inconsolable until his spirits are lifted up.
** HeroicBsod: Basically this until Predaking snapped him out of it in his own way.
* HeelFaceTurn: Arguably, he was never a bad guy to begin with.
* HugeGuyTinyGirl: He's been de-sized and he still towers over Fluttershy.
* InterspeciesRomance: With Fluttershy.
* ItsPersonal: After what The Director puts him and everybody else through in the Red Planet arc, he's more than a bit pissed.
* MeaningfulName: In Italy, the name Basil means love. In ancient Rome, however, it is associated with hatred, which is what he nearly gave into.
* NiceGuy: All things considered, though he can be fairly belligerent.
* OurDragonsAreDifferent: He's a more traditional looking dragon compared to the many examples of this trope around here, but his claws stand out.

* BadassAdorable: When she does step-up...
** BadassPacifist: She managed to stare down Basil when he was at his worst, for starters.
** BadassInDistress: Surprisingly, when kidnapped by The Director, she takes the first opportunity to derail his plans however she can.
* BeastAndBeauty: Shares this dynamic with Basil, but he's civilized enough.
* BerserkButton: Seeing her alternate self burn bunnies pissed her right the hell off.

** As of the Red Planet arc, he's completed his HeelFaceTurn, but not without reason.
* AliensAreBastards: Downplayed, but still there.
* AllForNothing: As it turns out, his own men are keeping him in the dark that they never got to Earth and have been traveling aimlessly while the Autobots have found a home. He figures out the awful truth in the Red Planet arc and, of course, he doesn't take it well at first.
* AmazonChaser: He was impressed by Tyr'Rhanee's skill in battle and being able to keep up with him.
** LoveAtFirstPunch: Kinda. Their relationship developed from there.
* AmbitionIsEvil: Looking forward to his dreams of conquest, he is.
* ArmCannon / Bfg: You'd be hard-pressed to see him without his fusion cannon.
** BladeBelowTheShoulder: This weapon is also his favorite.
* BerserkButton: Humiliate him in combat or show him anything related to the Micheal Bay movies. Oh, and don't impersonate Optimus Prime. Scourge and M-Optimus learned this the hard way.
* BoxedCrook: Whenever he's around the team. As of now, this is no longer the case.
* BloodKnight: You bet! Even after his HeelFaceTurn, he still hungers for battle.
* CompositeCharacter: Not much, but he does have the "Instruments of Destruction" theme that G1 Megatron had in the movie. Also, him getting put in a diagnostic droid's body [[WesternAnimation/BeastMachines hearkens back to a lesser known series.]]
** Later, his IDW traits and even backstory come into play.
* CoolStarship: The Nemesis.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: Let's just say that Cybertron's caste system did a number on him. Not only that, but he was subject to slight Shadowplay during the war, feeding him delusions that the Decepticons had to work around.
* DeadpanSnarker: Occasionally. He describes Celestia's place as "Quaint".
* DemonicPossession: On the receiving end from the Hands of Fate.
* DoomedHometown: Cybertron, as of The Director, has been destroyed.
* FantasticRacism: After spending time in the Warner Bros. version of Mars, this is dialed down. When he's slightly off his rocker at the start of the Red Planet arc, he thinks of Equestria with nothing but scorn for their pacifistic ways.
* GoKartingWithBowser: Whenever he's acting civil with the heroes.
* HeWhoFightsMonsters: What he amounts to. His interactions with Tyr'Rhanee and his whole standing the Review Team is all paltry compared to his true cause being tainted by his ego and greed. He realizes this when he does a HeelFaceTurn, realizing that he's accomplished nothing at all this way.
* HesBack: Upon recovering from his VillainousBsod, he returns dynamically to the Nemesis, regaining his leadership position with a new lease on life.
* HeelFaceTurn: Fully completes this after the awful truth about his cause is revealed, a little soul-searching, and a call with Tyr'Rhanee.
* HumiliationConga: Needless to say, when Duck Dodgers put him in a diagnostic droid body, his sanity and body was put to the test.
** TraumaCongaLine: The starting parts of the Red Planet arc do NOT go well for him. Cybertron is destroyed and his quest is revealed to be a sham that's already failed.
* KlingonsLoveShakespeare: He sometimes watches Audrey Hepburn material.
* LoveRedeems: Not exactly. It certainly made him more sane, though. His love for Tyr'Rhanee is what brings him out of his funk when he learns his cause was for naught.
* OfficialCouple: With [[WesternAnimation/DuckDodgers Queen Tyr'Rhanee.]]
** BattleCouple / InterspeciesRomance / UnholyMatrimony
* OnlyInItForTheMoney: The only reason Megatron puts up with this Review Team thing is because Sir supplies him with fresh energon. Now, it's to make sure a threat like The Director doesn't happen again.
* ProudWarriorRaceGuy: What appealed him to the Warner Bros. Martians.
* RageBreakingPoint: Duck Dodgers causes him to reach this when he, in the body of a diagnostic droid, labels him a jellybean in the papers. His blow-up is something to behold.
** At the start of Season 4 and around the Red Planet arc, he's hit this already, having grown sick of never progressing in his quest against the Autobots. It goes downhill from there and then uphill.
* ReformedButNotTamed: Despite his full recent HeelFaceTurn, he's still intent on dealing with his foes the old-fashioned brutal way. It's a start, honestly.
* SanitySlippage: During the start of the Red Planet arc, he's hellbent on conquering the universe to regain his pride, damn the consequences. He finally snaps when he realizes the truth of what's become of his cause, descending into a LaughingMad fit and even singing a mangled version of the Transformers theme song.
* SatisfiedStreetRat: He's quite proud to be reminded of his time in the Pits.
* TeethClenchedTeamwork: Working with Discord is something he'd rather not do.
* TranquilFury: During Season 1, some members play a prank on him involving his favorite show. He lets them have it with nary a yell or even a sound...
* TrueCompanions: Of course, with Soundwave. Seeing his friend be so secretive is what clues him in that something's wrong with his cause.
* TheUnfettered: So far, he's shown no remorse for what went down at Cybertron.
** TheFettered: Until he figures out what's become of his cause.
* VillainousBsod: Suffers one after he learns what became of his cause. It's enough to get him to leave the Nemesis and exile himself temporarily.
* VillainousValor: No matter what, he'll never give in, even when nearly deactivated.
* WellIntentionedExtremist: Much like his IDW counterpart, he really wanted the best for Cybertron. He's just...you know. Eventually, he grows into just protecting the universe in his own brutal way.

* NotSoAboveItAll: He actually engages in the temporary team's singing of Fly Me to the Moon. Probably to relieve tension.
* RefusalOfTheCall: He initially blows off Gwonam and Cinemacus until he sees Megatron in danger.
* ScreamsLikeALittleGirl: Occasionally.
* TheStarscream: Despite being the TropeNamer, he goes through Hell to save Megatron, not that he doesn't show some signs of resentment. He also keeps it together (to the bet of his effort) with his temporary team.
** Averted completely in the Red Planet arc. He's loyal to his master no matter what.
* TokenEvilTeammate: Out of all the temporary members during the Golus arc, he is the most sinister. Or, at least, rude.
* UndyingLoyalty: He only joins into this whole farce because his master is trapped by Golus. That loyalty carries over into faking battles against the Autobots when his master demands it.
* WasItReallyWorthIt: When Megatron exiles himself temporarily, he's anything but happy. He wanted to EARN leadership of the Decepticons. Not have it handed over to him! Still, he's happy to give the throne back when Megatron returns.

* BadassNormal: By the end, even before he gains his SuperMode.
* BirdsOfAFeather: He's this with Gwonam, as discussed earlier.
* ButtMonkey: The fourth part illustrates this quite well.
* CombatTentacles: Not so much as his normal form, but Kraken Squidward has some good ones.
* EarlyBirdCameo: He has a minor role in ''Just Sign It''.
* DidntWantAnAdventure: His attitude until his team gets the upper-hand.
* DreadfulMusician: Sadly.
* InterspeciesRomance: Thanks to portal shenanigans, he's in one with a naga-like Milotic named Laura.
* {{Kaiju}}: Kraken Squidward.
* KrakenAndLeviathan: The first one, due to his empowered mode.
* TheLoad: It seems this way for a while.
* MakingASplash: As Kraken Squidward, he has the power of the Titanic Destroyer Wave, which is basically a massive tsunami.
** With some of Gwonam's earlier teachings, he may be able to do this in his normal form eventually.
* OnlySaneMan: Next to a crazed dragon, a supposed joke character, a Decepticon, and three powerful pets, he's this to the brigade.
* SuperMode: Thanks to Gwonam, he transforms into a massive crab/squid/shark creature named Kraken Squidward.
* ThrowTheDogABone: As if him having a girlfriend now wasn't good enough, he's the one to finally defeat Golus for good.
* TookALevelInBadass: Eventually.
* TrueCompanions: With Gwonam, eventually. He's the most seriously affected by his death.

* {{Invisibility}}: One of his powers. Strangely, he doesn't use it that often.

* ServileSnarker: He's not too impressed with Sir's idiocy at times.

* BizarreAlienBiology: Just look at him. There's a picture for you to look at.
* ChickMagnet: Fluttershy and Mothra fawn over him due to how 'cute' he is, much to his embarrassment. They get it together, thankfully.

Built by Sir Cinemacus by use of nanites, this robot was built to be the ultimate fighter and bodyguard of the Review Team. However, Sir made the mistake of bragging about it and saying it was better than [[WesternAnimation/TransformersPrime Megatron.]] Searching for proof, Sir made the mistake of having Azazel, King of Equestria, fight the mech. Needless to say, despite Sir intervening, the machine was obliterated.

* BeamOWar: Uses its [[KillSat Kill Sat]] to do this with [[spoiler: Golden]] Azazel. Guess who wins.
* DeaderThanDead: You have to completely obliterate every last nanobot in order to kill it.
* EyeBeams
* FingerFirearms: The tips of it's fingers are actually giant muskets that can do some serious damage.
* HauntedTechnology: Not really, but it does get possessed by Sir in a bout to save it.
* KilledOffForReal: Vaporized by a massive blast from [[spoiler: Golden]] Azazel.
* KillSat: There's one hidden in the hat. It's the most powerful weapon it has, capable of firing a [[WaveMotionGun massive]] [[DeathRay laser]] [[EnergyWeapon beam.]] Doesn't save it, though.

* BlackAndWhiteMorality: Anything slightly chaotic is enough to set her off.
* DistaffCounterpart: To Robo-Lincoln.
* EnergyWeapon: She can fire these from each point of her crown. Her torch also fires a larger variant.
* {{Foil}}: To Robo-Lincoln. While he was a mindless shell to be controlled by Sir, she has artificial intelligence and goes haywire rather quickly.
* HistoryRepeats: Once again, one of Sir's robotic creations menaces Equestria, but this one is out of his control.
* KilledOffForReal: Rick utterly destroys her to the last nanomachine.
* KnightTemplar: She is designed to destroy evil...a very narrow definition actually.
* {{Nanomachines}}: Destroy her? She's just break apart into a violent mass of these. They can also come together to form shapes like giant fists, as well as superheat themselves for maximum efficiency.
* RasputinianDeath: Rick utterly dismantles her until she's reduced to nanites. Then, he annihilates the rest.

One of the newest members introduced in Season 4...kinda. [[WesternAnimation/FriskyDingo A spoiled and slightly psychotic rich-boy/superhero]], he's currently the ruler of the imperialistic Albinians, where he spends most of his time partying and supplying weapons to the Review Team on the promise on fighting his old nemesis, Killface, once more.

------

* AlienAbduction: Allowed himself to be kidnapped by Killface's people and even managed to become their king...somehow.
* ArmsDealer: Essentially, he's giving Sir Cinemacus new tech for destructive purposes.
* BrilliantButLazy: He's the ruler of an advanced alien race, but he'd rather party than do much of anything.
* {{Jerkass}}: Even with Sir, he's not that curt.

He's not very social, as you might guess.

------

* AdaptationalIntelligence: Thanks to Sir, he has a voice and more ability to show his personality.
* TheAloner: His favorite home at Sir's new home? The Bus Graveyard.
* TheBigGuy: Out of the new Season 4 fighters.
* TheCynic: At his best, arguably.
* DarkIsNotEvil: At least, as of now. He's more than the sum of his crimes, as it turns out.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: Anybody's who's watched his series to the [[BittersweetEnding contentious ending]] will know what's gone down for him. He's feeling obvious guilt for what he's done, too.
* DeathFromAbove: The main strategy of himself.
* DragonTheirFeet: Pun aside, the only reason he agrees to fight Ahnil (aside from being forced to do it) is because of his habit of enslaving others. His mother's goal was to eradicate slavery, so he's going to comply.
* EvenBadMenLoveTheirMamas: Despite his threatening nature and propensity for destruction, he loved his mother unconditionally. Granted, it led to him raining fire down upon King's Landing, which is something not even he enjoyed.
* FishOutOfTemporalWater: He does his best to adjust to a more modern time, growing used to his surroundings rather well. Mainly because he just wants to be alone.
* {{Foil}}: To Basil the dragon. While Basil's arguably on his level of power, if not more, he's a kind and sociable soul. Drogon is far more melancholic and has a bodycount to his name.
** Same goes for Necrosan, who's far more evil and has zero remorse for his actions, unlike Drogon.
* IAmAMonster: His reaction to being praised? Panic and fly away.
* KillItWithFire: No matter what, this is his favorite strategy.
* LastOfHisKind: After the death of his brothers and family, he's basically the last dragon AND Targaryen.
* LightningBruiser: He's quick as the wind in the air, but he's also quicker on his feet than one could realize.
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: He's obviously reeling from the King's Landing incident.
* OddFriendship: He gets along well with Eric Feeble, of all people. Mostly because they've been through a lot, but in differing circumstances. He even lets him ride him, but not without discomfort on both ends.
* PrecisionFStrike: Does this when Necrosan joins the team. F&$@ my life, indeed.
* SuddenlyVoiced: Thanks to Sir Cinemacus, he's voiced by Keith David. Rather fitting, given his large frame.
* SympatheticMurderer: He may have caused many a horrific massacre against his mother's foes and even innocent victims, but he's got nothing but remorse to show, mostly given that it resulted in his mother's death.

------

* ButtMonkey: He's not really regarded as useful in combat (for obvious reasons) and his many torments carry over somewhat.
* CrossPoppingVeins: So far, this hasn't happened to the point where his own stress vein strangles him as usual. Good thing, too...
* {{Determinator}}: Being put through the wringer almost every single day may be upsetting to him, but he's got children to feed! Drogon hears him out on this.
* FailureHero: In terms of battling the forces of evil, yes. However, he does land a lot of good hits with an alien gun against the Cleaner when it arrives.
* LighterAndSofter: His treatment is nowhere near as oppressive as it was in his home series.
* NiceGuy: All in all, there's not a bad bone in his body.
* OddFriendship: With Drogon, as discussed in his bio.
* SeenItAll: After he gets over the weirdness of his situation, he gets used to his surroundings due to a surprise lack of stress that it gives.
* SitcomArchNemesis: Ray Perfect, of course. When he realizes he can get a leg-up on him through the job of saving the world, he joins with new resolve.
* ThrowTheDogABone: After having his ass handed to him in his series ALL THE TIME, he's finally in a position in which people are nice to him and the pay is good.
