19
2010,000 meters above the sea, some people have, against common sense, managed to live on solid clouds (forming the White Sea) and adapted to the oxygen-poor environment. These people, recognizable by the small wings on their back, used to mind their own business in Skypiea. That is, until 400 years ago, half of Jaya, where the Shandians lived, was blown up into the sky, starting a war to defend the homeland for one side, and to exploit the coveted earth (called "vearth") for the others as it is essential for agriculture in the sky. The war actually continued until Eneru and his goons came and usurped the Skypiean throne, only to be shooed away by the Straw Hats.
21
22The Sky People are ignorant about many otherwise common elements (such as rubber), and have developed their own unique culture due to their isolation. However, they make ample use of "Dials", seashell-looking items that can store many things, such as sound, fire, or even impacts.
23
24Skypiea is the most prominent sky island, as it has been visited by the Straw Hat crew, but the lore indicates that there exist other similar places above the clouds.

29[[folder:In General]]
30* MundaneObjectAmazement:
31** Sky People need soil from the Blue Seas to grow food; as it doesn't get sent up into the sky very often, even a handful of (what they call) Vearth is immensely valuable.
32** Additionally, rubber doesn't exist on the Sky Islands; Usopp takes advantage of this and trades some rubber bands for a big sack full of useful Dials.
33* OurAngelsAreDifferent: Their wings are never seen or mentioned to be functional. In fact, the only person who seems to comment at all on their appearance is Sanji, and only with respect to the women. It's not even clear if they're real wings, or just decorations. The fact that the Shandorians seem to have had wings even before they were, ahem, relocated just makes it more peculiar.
34* WingedHumanoid: Skypiea is inhabited by three races of winged people: the Shandians, the Skypieans, and the Birkans. Their wings are purely vestigial, though, and do not provide flight. They do make some of them look like angels, at least.

46A [[WingedHumanoid winged girl]] from Skypiea. She welcomes the Straw Hat and befriends them.
47-----
48* BadassAdorable: She is far tougher than she looks: when a soldier goes to attack her, she reflexively flips her [[{{BFG}} burn bazooka]] and holds it at his torso, point blank.
49-->"Don't come any closer. This is a burn bazooka... ''I'll use it.''"
50* {{BFG}}: She wielded a bazooka during her CMOA.
51* DidYouJustFlipOffCthulhu: To force the other Skypieans to listen to her and begin evacuating, Conis loudly declares that Eneru is no god. Everyone panics expecting Eneru to strike her down on the spot, yet nothing happens due to Eneru being busy. This gets the crowd to finally pay attention.
52* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold: She has blonde hair and is a NiceGirl.
53* HarpOfFemininity: She likes to play a harp in her spare time, and is even known as "the beautiful lady who plays the harp" among the boys of her village.
54* NiceGirl: She's a real sweetheart in both personality and looks.
55* OurAngelsAreDifferent: She isn't technically an angel, but looks a lot like one: her looks (pink dress, long blonde hair, sandals, wings...) lead Sanji to mistake her for an angel when the Straw Hats meet her.
56* PinkMeansFeminine: Wears a pink dress as part of her regular uniform.
57* TookALevelInBadass: And ''how!'' She goes from being too scared of Eneru to rebel against him, to confidently warning everyone about his plan to annihilate Skypiea, while carrying a ''bazooka'' for protection.
58* WingedHumanoid: Like everyone on the Sky Islands, she has white wings.

69Conis's father. He's just as nice as his daughter, but has the curious habit of apologizing very often for various reasons.
70----
71* ApologisesALot: He apologizes ''all the time'', even for things that really aren't his fault.
72* DisneyDeath: Pagaya is seemingly killed by one of Eneru's lightning strikes, but he later turns out to be still alive.
73* EyesAlwaysShut: Pagaya always keeps his eyes closed.
74* HeroicSacrifice: He manages to push his daughter out of the way from one of Eneru's lightning strikes, which seemingly kills him. It's later subverted when he is revealed to have survived.
75* MrExposition: Along with his daughter, he spends a lot of time explaining how things work in Skypiea to the Straw Hats, who have never been on a sky island before.
76* NoMouth: His mouth is hidden by his thick beard. Whenever he talks, the beard itself moves around.
77* NiceGuy: Like his daughter, he's a very friendly guy and is friendly to strangers like the Straw Hats.

87
88A knight who was once "God" of Skypiea, but was dethroned by Eneru. After which he patrols the kingdom as a knight to secure as much of its safety as he can from Eneru's megalomania.
89-----
90* AirJousting: Engages in some against Shura and would likely have won if Shura didn't use invisible strings to tie him down and hold him still.
91* BigDamnHeroes: He regularly saves people during the Skypiea arc. First, he saves the Straw Hats from Wyper when they just arrived at the White Sea, and then he gave them a whistle for emergencies. When Conis was about to be judged by Eneru's El Thor, Gan Fall saves her from it brings her to his secure home. Later, when Chopper blows the emergency whistle, Gan Fall flies as quickly as possible to save him and the Going Merry from Shura, although he loses the battle against the priest.
92* CloakOfDefense: In his fight against Hotori and Kotori, Gan Fall uses his cape to protect himself when one of them emits methane gas with a Flavour Dial which Gan Fall thought it was a [[FireBreathingWeapon Fire Dial.]]
93* CoolOldGuy: Despite being old, he's a strong fighter who can go head-to-head with Wyper. He also saves people regularly during the Skypiea arc.
94* FailureKnight: He became this after he got overthrown by Eneru, trying to keep his subjects safe in his own way.
95* FeeFiFauxPas: Started quite a bit of trouble when he told Wyper that he enjoyed pumpkin juice, as pumpkin can only be grown agriculture, something the Shandians lost to the people of Skypiea.
96* {{Foreshadowing}}: He regularly uses the pronoun "wagahai" in Japanese, cluing the audience early on that he used to be a figure of high authority. Turns out he was the previous "God".
97* InconsistentSpelling: His name has been spelled in a number of ways. Fans aren't sure if it's supposed to be Gan Fall, Gun Fall, or Ganfor. For the record, the official English manga uses "Ganfor", but the Funimation dub and subtitles use "Gan Fall". In Germany, it's spelled "Ganford", with the German dub pronouncing the D as a hard D.
98* KnightInShiningArmor: He's a heroic figure clad in silver armor.
99* JoustingLance: In keeping with his knightly Don Quixotesque appearance, he wields a lance.
100* LovedByAll: By the end of the Skypiea arc, both Skypians and Shandians unanimously agree he's the leader they need.
101* NonSequiturThud: Parodied. He starts explaining Skypiea's history to the Straw Hats out of nowhere, leading to Usopp asking if he hit his head.
102* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: Unlike Eneru, he's aware that "God" is supposed to just be a title for the leader and guardian of Skypiea, has peaceful talks with the Shandian chief, and makes efforts to try and stop the war between their people.
103* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Pumpkin juice. He often serves it to his guests, and he accidentally pissed off Wyper by telling him that he loved it.
104* WhereAreTheyNowEpilogue: From The Decks of the World shows that he continues to passionately grow pumpkins, although now the pumpkin patch is located right next to the Golden Bell. He even keeps good relations with the Shandian chief, even having glasses of pumpkin juice together.

108!!Pierre
109!!!'''Debut:''' Chapter 237 (Manga), Episode 153 (Anime)
110
111Gan Fall's pet bird, who has eaten the Horse-Horse Fruit.
112----
113* BewareTheNiceOnes: He attacks both Usopp and Sanji when they disrespect his master Gan Fall.
114* CoolButInefficient: Pierre has the powers of the Horse-Horse Fruit, which enables it to transform into a {{Pegasus}}, but has no benefits since Pierre is already a giant bird able to carry him with ease. In fact, it prevents Pierre from rescuing Gan Fall from the water when Shura knocks him in the lake, and Pierre is similarly incapacitated when Shura knocks him in, too.
115* GiantFlyer: Even when he's not using his powers, he's still a bird large enough to serve as a mount.
116* {{Pegasus}}: Pierre is a bird who ate the Horse-Horse Fruit (''Uma Uma no Mi'') which allows him to transform into one. It's... actually rather ugly.

127
128[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/eneru_anime.png]]
129
130->''"God does exist in this world... Me."''
131
132The tyrannical "God" of Skypiea. After eating the extremely powerful Rumble-Rumble Fruit (''Goro Goro no Mi''), a Logia-type Fruit that granted Eneru the power to create, control, and become lightning, he began to [[AGodAmI believe that he was literally a god]], and usurped control of Skypiea from its rightful ruler. \
133
134Eneru uses his SinisterSurveillance to smite those who would defy his will, whether they be Skypieans or the Shandians, whose ancestral homeland he made his own. By the time of the Straw Hats' arrival, he's putting his plan of returning Skypiea to nothing before departing for the promised land, "Fairy Vearth", with four other chosen ones into motion.
135-----
136* AccidentalHero: On the moon, he continues his insane rampage by attacking everything in sight including the Space Pirates plundering it and the Automatons, who due to being powered by electricity were only recharged by his powers with them pledging their loyalty to him after he accidentally caused their re-awakening.
137* ArcVillain: Eneru is the main antagonist of the Skypiea arc, as the tyrannical ruler of the island who plans to destroy it. He's one of the most powerful antagonists Luffy faces but he's never appeared in the series since his defeat in his own arc.
138* ArtisticLicensePhysics: While Rubber is indeed an insulator, there is a limit to how much electricity it can take- and several hundred million volts is ''way'' beyond that limit, and the searing heat alone should have left Luffy a charred corpse. In other words, Eneru ''should have won''. The only reason he doesn't win is that Luffy's rubber body [[AcceptableBreaksFromReality isn't just a conventional kind of rubber]], but a strange, Devil Fruit-based super rubber beyond what humans can manufacture, much like Wapol's unique Wapometal. [[spoiler: That ends up being a JustifiedTrope when we learn about the Human-Human Fruit, Model: Nika.]]
139* AttackOfThe50FootWhatever: Can turn into a giant electrical being with the Amaru technique. Sadly for him, it's also a ClippedWingAngel against Luffy, since it just makes him a bigger target.
140* AxCrazy: Casually murders a lot of people, including his [[BadBoss own men]], because he's playing a "Survival Game" of his own invention. In fact, Eneru is probably the most legitimately insane character in the series with only Big Mom as competition: he has a god complex (despite knowing that his powers come from a Devil Fruit), he deems other people "mortals", and his ultimate plan is to destroy Skypiea simply because he finds its floating in the sky too unnatural, while he heads off to the moon because he believes it's his personal Promised Land.
141* BadBoss: Since he considers himself a god, while all the others are mere "mortals", he couldn't care less about them and is not afraid to pull a YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness. Sometimes, he even kills his own men out of pure enjoyment.
142* TheBadGuyWins: Sort of. While he doesn't actually beat Luffy, he does succeed in his goal of going to Fairy Vearth. At the same time, Luffy prevents him from destroying Skypiea, but the latter doesn't have any bearing on the Fairy Vearth goal.
143* BatmanCanBreatheInSpace: He can walk around the moon comfortably without any visible breathing apparatus, likely thanks to his Logia powers.
144* BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor: Downplayed, but once he actually reaches the moon like he wanted, he seemingly spends a ton of time there being bored and lonely until he finally meets the ClockworkCreature race that lives there.
145* BelievingTheirOwnLies: While knowing that, in the Sky Islands, "God" is merely a title for an island's leader, Eneru's [[ShockAndAwe lightning-based Rumble-Rumble Fruit powers]], combined with the near-omnipotence granted by his enhanced mind-reading Mantra ability, convinced him that he truly is divine.
146* BewareTheMindReader: He can use a high-level Mantra ability which, combined with his lightning powers, lets him read other people's thoughts throughout all of Skypiea through electric waves that he spreads around. This alone makes him a fearful figure there -- and that's not counting how he can easily give a BoltOfDivineRetribution from miles away if he decides someone needs smiting, usually from overhearing people's bad thoughts of him.
147* BoltOfDivineRetribution: His most common attack is El Thor ([[AlternateCharacterReading the kanji]] for it reading "God's Judgement"), which he uses to smite any and all who defy him, even at great distance, thanks to his Mantra/Observation Haki that allows him to hear the people's thoughts in a wide range.
148* BornLucky: This guy believes that he's God for a ''reason''. While his past is [[MysteriousPast left ambiguous]], he's implied to have just been an ordinary citizen of Birka who just ''happened'' to eat [[SuperpowerLottery one of the most powerful Devil Fruits in the world]] despite being in the Sky Islands, a land with almost no other Devil Fruits. After eating it, he pretty much gained real God-like powers because of how it worked, found powerful people who could serve him, and [[WhereIWasBornAndRazed destroyed his home land with no effort]]. After that, he and his men effortlessly took over the former God, Gan Fall (and his own men), and [[TyrantTakesTheHelm declared himself the new "God."]] As "God", Enel lived a [[TheHedonist very carefree, indulgent life]] where he enjoyed himself while being pampered by his servants, while his slaves were forced to build a giant flying ship for him and the citizens of Skypiea lived in constant fear of him. No one in the Sky Islands was powerful enough to even ''hurt'' him at all, and anyone who was stronger than him was in the Blue Sea world and therefore didn't know he existed. The first time he ''ever'' got hurt in his six-year reign was when Wyper almost killed him with an impact dial with a Sea Prism Stone in it, but even then, Enel's fruit allowed him to ''restart his heart'' (an ability he didn't even know he had) afterwards and beat Wyper. Luffy was finally able to defeat him once and for all, but even then, he actually achieved his goal of going to the "Endless Vearth", making him one of the only major villains to [[KarmaHoudini get a happy ending]]. Even when going to the Moon, not only does he [[BatmanCanBreatheInSpace somehow breathe just fine despite being in space]] (probably because of hid Logia powers), but when he finds a city of the Moon people and decides to destroy it, that city just ''happened'' to be powered by electricity, meaning that he [[AccidentalHero unintentionally saved them]] and became their "hero" and their new leader, leaving him confused at first but ultimately glad about it afterward.
149* BreakTheHaughty: The realization that Luffy is his ManOfKryptonite and is [[NoSell completely immune to his attacks]] leaves him quite shocked. He recovers pretty fast, as he finds a way to avoid Luffy's advantages.
150* TheChessmaster: He turned a Shandian uprising, and the Straw Hats' adventures, by having his men pounce on both sides into a "Survival Game", predicting the likely outcome in an hour of his enforced big battle to five people standing. Of course, this is all to find people worthy enough to join (or rather, survive) his genocidal campaign against Skypiea aboard [[CoolShip the Maxim]] into Fairy Vearth.
151* ClippedWingAngel: 200 Million Volt Amaru looks impressive, but it only provides Luffy with a bigger target. It's quite telling that a large mass of lightning has to fall back on a now relatively tiny trident to actually do anything.
152* CompressedHair: Has his blond afro tucked under his headband (which is [[AllThereInTheManual only seen in the SBS so far]]).
153* CoolStarship: The Ark Maxim, a giant arc built for him and his four chosen ones to reach Fairy Vearth. [[RuleOfCool It's made of gold and can reach the moon!]] It's also fueled by his own electricity.
154* CombatClairvoyance: His Mantra (actually a form of [[KiManipulation Haki]]) allows him to read opponents' minds and predict their movements; when he combines it with his Devil Fruit's ability to feel the electromagnetic currents in the air, he's effectively omniscient.
155* ConvectionSchmonvection: Zigzagged. He uses the heat created from a continuous surge of lightning to melt and reshape gold, such as his staff and his ark. However, even though Luffy's rubber body doesn't conduct electricity, he still shouldn't come out unscathed from large bursts of lightning that melt holes in walls, though he is burned by the staff and the large golden ball Eneru welds around his arm.
156* CultOfPersonality: Befitting the religious themes of the arc, Eneru essentially leads a cult built around worship of himself.
157* DeathFromAbove: Having his powers be derived from lightning, this is inevitable. His strongest technique, Raigo, can wipe out whole islands in one go.
158* DirtyCoward: A slight variation but after he knocks Luffy off the Maxim in their first fight. He tries all he can to avoid another confrontation with him. Sure he keeps up the arrogant demeanor, but one gets the feeling he's actually ''scared'' of him since it's probably the first time in a while that someone's laid hands on him. When Luffy succeeds in getting back into the air, he quickly goes to his most powerful form to take him out.
159* EvilCannotComprehendGood: He doesn't understand why Wiper, Gan Fall, and the Straw Hats would rather die on their feet than live on their knees, believing that being ruled by fear is the natural way for "mortals" to live.
160* EvilLaugh: "Yahahahaha!"
161* EvilSoundsDeep: One of Morikawa and Tatum's lower voice roles.
162* ExtraOreDinary: With his electric powers, Eneru can superheat gold to its melting point and use electromagnetism to reshape the fluid gold and let it harden into its new shape. He's reformed his staff into a trident and took a portion of a gold wall to trap Luffy's arm in a solid gold sphere.
163* FantasticNuke: Raigo. With his Ark Maxim ship producing an artificial thundercloud, Eneru can supercharge it with his Devil Fruit to create a SphereOfDestruction that can wipe out entire islands.
164* FatalFlaw: His arrogance. It prevents him from focusing on any possible threats to him, which is why Wiper is able to catch him off guard and use his Reject Dial on him, and leads to his surprise that Luffy can actually hurt him.
165* FauxAffablyEvil: Chats calmly with Robin about archaeology and the beauty of Shandora; he also thinks he's a god, and he has a fondness for destroying islands. He also challenges some of his servants to guess how many will be left at the end.
166* GeniusBruiser: Is very knowledgeable about the Blue Sea and knows quite a bit about archeology, metallurgy, and designing and building space ships. And yet oddly, he didn't know rubber exists before encountering Luffy. Even then, once the initial shock wears off, he's quickly able to readjust himself and use his abilities to put up a significant fight against Luffy, despite fighting with a major handicap.
167* GenocideFromTheInside: Destroyed his home and its people after gaining his powers.
168* GetBackHereBoss: Non video game example. After learning Luffy is immune to his attacks and can actually hurt him, Eneru quickly knocks him off the Maxim. The rest of their "fight" consists of Luffy trying to get high enough to hit him.
169* AGodAmI: Played with in that "God" is actually just the title of Skypiea's ruler, but thanks to his powerful Devil Fruit, Eneru thinks he's an actual god, therefore he considers any of his actions justified.
170* HoistByHisOwnPetard: During Luffy's first fight with him, he managed to graft gold into the shape of a ball around Luffy's arm and kicks him off the Maxim to get him out of the way. Luffy however manages to get back in the air and uses said ball to not only stop Eneru's [[ColonyDrop energized death ball]] that would've destroyed all of Skypiea (as the ball acts a conductor taking in all of the electricity and neutralized by Luffy's rubber body), but then deliver a monster of a punch to Eneru, crashing him into the golden bell, both defeating the villain and achieving his goal of ringing it. Probably didn't help that Eneru made himself a bigger target.
171* InconsistentSpelling: Enel vs. Eneru vs. Ener. Supposedly, they're all fine, but Eneru is VIZ's English spelling while Enel is the official transliteration given by Oda. Other localizations like the German one use Enel.
172* InsaneTrollLogic:
173** Since a floating island is ''[[SarcasmMode clearly]]'' the most unnatural thing in this series, it must be vaporized.
174** Also, the goal of his Survival Game was to find the four people most determined to survive, in order for them to accompany him to the moon. He doesn't seem to understand that after everything he put them through, they might not ''want'' to join him. Of the five left standing by the time the Survival Game is about to end (Robin, Zoro, Wiper, Gan Fall, and Nami), four of them decided to make a stand against him right there and then, and the only one who doesn't, Nami, only plays along in hopes of waiting for an opportune moment to attack him, and chooses to try facing him down when she realizes there won't be one.
175* InstantDeathRadius: Thanks to his enhanced Mantra and the nature of his powers, he can attack people '''far''' outside of their range.
176* InvincibleVillain: There is ''no one'', [[ElementalRockPaperScissors save for]] [[RubberMan Luffy]] and really strong Haki users that can challenge him. No one. Robin even stated that his Logia power, the Rumble-Rumble Fruit, is one of the few that truly boasts invincibility.
177* TheJuggernaut: Until he fights Luffy, whose rubber body counters his electric powers, no one is able to slow Eneru down. Every HopeSpot his opponents have is quickly rendered null and void.
178* KarmaHoudini: Despite being one of the most psychotic and unrepentant villains in ''Manga/OnePiece'', Eneru gets away with nothing more than a few bruises from Luffy, actually achieving his original goal following his defeat. By comparison, other {{Big Bad}}s usually had all their evil dreams and goals completely crushed, except for LaughablyEvil Buggy the Clown, who only suffers many [[ButtMonkey comedic humiliations]]. At most, he simply wasn't able to take the Golden Bell with him. However, he's now somewhere where he will likely never bother anyone on the planet ever again: the Moon.
179* KiManipulation: His Mantra (also shared among his priests) was later revealed to be a specialized form of Observation Haki.
180* LackOfEmpathy: Eneru cares only about himself and, believing to be an actual god, everyone else is no different from a common rock as far as he's concerned.
181* LightIsNotGood: The color of Eneru's lightning (yellow in the manga, bluish-white in the anime) are normally good guy colors. He also wears a lot of white and considers himself to be God.
182* LightningBruiser: Pun intended. He's as fast as lightning, can create and launch massive thunderbolts, and is one of the strongest opponents Luffy ever faced. Physically strong as well -- he powered through a ''ton'' of hits from Luffy, including Axe (which put down Arlong plus his whole castle) and Bazooka (which shattered Krieg's armor and sent the likes of Buggy and Wapol into different ''time zones'').
183* MadeOfIron: Even with [[RubberMan Luffy]] [[ElementalRockPaperScissors cancelling out his electric abilities]], he's still a pretty tough guy to keep down. He took a direct hit from a Reject Dial, withstood being viciously beaten by Luffy only to repeatedly retaliate, and was eventually smashed into the solid gold Golden Bell at speeds that broke the sound barrier before being knocked out cold. He soon recuperated afterwards with some bruises and no worse for wear.
184* MagicalDefibrillator: When [[TouchOfDeath a well-placed chest shot from Wiper's Reject Dial]] stops his heart, Eneru automatically uses his own electric powers to restart it.
185* MagicalFloatingShawl: His OneWingedAngel form adds a shawl on top of the Raijin-esque ring of {{Thunder Drum}}s already in his back, making him look more divine.
186* MoralityPet: Rescues a race of cute robots from space pirates during his cover story, and ends up living on the moon with them.
187* NiceJobFixingItVillain: While boasting to Luffy and Nami that nobody will survive his second Raigo, he lets it slip that their comrades are still waiting for them below, which gives Nami the idea to send a message to the others to tilt Giant Jack so Luffy can reach Enel again.
188* NighInvulnerability: Being a Logia made of lightning, he's completely invulnerable to strikes not imbued with [[KiManipulation Haki]]; Luffy's rubber body is the '''one''' exception.
189* NoCelebritiesWereHarmed: His appearance is based off Eminem.
190* NonStandardCharacterDesign: In terms of humanoids, he has enormously elongated earlobes. In terms of Birkans, the race he hails from, he has no wings, just a giant magatama ring sticking out his back where wings would be.
191* OhCrap:
192** Has an absolutely epic one when he realizes that Luffy [[NoSell is immune to his electrical attacks]]. In the manga, the face he made took an ''entire page'', while the anime was a bit more low key about it.
193** He gets another at the end of the same fight when Luffy prepares to finish him off with with a Gum-Gum Rifle, and he is too injured from the Gum-Gum Octopus Fireworks to dodge.
194** Likewise he gets one in his final battle with Luffy who rockets the golden ball straight at him. Eneru knows it's coming but finds it's too fast to dodge or counter against (especially since he ''made himself a bigger target'') before it slams right into his smug face.
195** He gets a less stellar, but still very satisfying, one earlier when he realizes that Wyper is about to use the Reject dial on him.
196* OmnicidalManiac: He tries to destroy Skypiea because he feels a land in the sky is unnatural. Also infamous for obliterating his own sky island before coming to Skypiea.
197* OneManArmy: Not only insanely strong, [[SinisterSurveillance he's able to sense every being in Skypiea]], [[NighInvulnerability phases through most attacks]], [[VillainTeleportation has instantaneous movement over several kilometers]], and [[PersonOfMassDestruction can form attacks powerful enough to leave meteor-sized craters as collateral damage]]. And his Mantra allows him to [[CombatClairvoyance predict an enemy's movement and strategies to beat him before they can even see him]]. He's pretty much invincible, save for his [[WeaksauceWeakness single weakness against rubber]] and lack of experience in dealing with people who can actually hurt him.
198* PersonOfMassDestruction: He has the power to wipe out islands, [[WhereIWasBornAndRazed and has done so]].
199%%* {{Pride}}: Well, you might expect it from a man who consider himself a god.
200* PsychoElectro: Even by the standards of this series, and this trope, Eneru is downright ''insane''.
201* ReligiousAndMythologicalThemeNaming: Almost every attack he has is based on various lightning and thunder deities.
202* RuleOfSymbolism: Eneru's design gathers many elements from multiple deities: his earlobes are stretched like Hindu deities, his blond hair is a sign of divinity in ancient South American civilizations, his ring of drums resembles those worn by Japanese thunder deities, and most of his attack names reference thunder deities in general.
203* ScissorsCutsRock: While Luffy's RubberMan powers make him immune to Eneru's powers, Eneru is able to find ways to hurt Luffy by using electricity indirectly, culminating in his tossing Luffy overboard with a gigantic gold sphere attached to his wrist serving as an anchor.
204* SelfFulfillingProphecy: He makes a prediction about how many people will make it through his "survival game", and when his count is going to be off, Eneru considers it a valid solution to blast a couple of remaining people down to make the numbers match.
205* ShapingYourAttacks: Hino (a bird), Kiten (a wolf), and Lightning Dragon (a dragon).
206* ShockAndAwe: The Rumble-Rumble Fruit makes Eneru an electric man, allowing him to create powerful thunderbolts from miles away, travel at (literally) lightning speed and, combined with his mantra, read the minds of people even far away from him.
207* SinisterSurveillance: His Devil Fruit-enhanced Mantra enables him to keep tabs on every person on Skypiea, allowing him to read the thoughts of his "people". As such, he can deliver divine punishment to whoever speaks badly of him.
208* SmugSnake: Thinks of himself as invincible, and an almighty god. [[StoryBreakerPower Although this is not completely unjustified]] this arrogance is exactly what led to his defeat at the hands of Luffy. He also believes that except for [[RubberMan Luffy]], there is no one in world that could stand against him. Luffy then quickly points out that there are many people in the world who could defeat him.
209* SmugSuper: Thanks to a combination of his incredibly strong Devil Fruit and his god-complex, Eneru is fully confident of his abilities and, when facing Kamakiri, he goes to sleep to prove that he can even beat an opponent with that handicap, and he does as Kamakiri cannot bypass his logia intangibility. Eneru proves to be right in his confidence and Luffy is the only one who stands a chance to beat him only because the Gum-Gum fruit completely negates the Rumble-Rumble fruit.
210* TheSociopath: Going through his personality traits is like reading a sociopath's diagnostic checklist: Incredibly self-centered and arrogant, has an ''astonishing'' LackOfEmpathy for everything around him, manipulates anyone as he pleases, and is driven by a relentless lust for power and control as well as delusions of grandeur.
211* SortingAlgorithmOfEvil: Completely subverted. He is one of the most powerful villains ever introduced in ''One Piece'', easily dispatching every single opponent he went up against with no effort whatsoever, and would have a bounty of 500 million Berries if he were a pirate, more than any other known non-New World pirate (the only one known higher around the time was Ace's bounty of being 550 million.) Given how this is just Eneru who has a good handling of his powers and little else besides a partial understanding of Mantra/Haki, he would even do quite well for himself in the New World as long as he didn't piss off an Emperor or challenged skilled Haki users (at least as he is.) Keep in mind, pirates with a bounty 500 million or more are world-class threats in the One Piece World and defeating one allowed Blackbeard to become a Warlord. The only reason Luffy doesn't die instantly is because he's a RubberMan, and thus immune to Eneru's powers.
212* StoryBreakerPower: Eneru not only can turn into electricity, he's able to sense every being in Skypiea, phases through most attacks, has instantaneous movement over several kilometers, and can form attacks powerful enough to leave meteor-sized craters as collateral damage. And his Mantra allows him to predict an enemy's movement and strategies to beat him before they can even see him. In fact, Eneru was so ridiculously powerful that the story had to let him get away with his master plan to travel to the moon just so he could be PutOnABus (though fortunately his secondary goal to destroy Skypiea on his way out was ultimately foiled.) Had he appeared in the New World, he probably ''still'' would have been a major threat, and given the amount of [[KryptoniteIsEverywhere Haki users running around there]], that really says a lot; as long as he didn't go into the wrong neighborhood with particularly powerful Haki users, attract the anger of an Emperor, get an Admiral sent out to deal with him, or run into Luffy again [[spoiler: who at this point is his ultimate {{Foil}} when we learn of the [[ToonPhysics Human-Human Fruit, Model: Nika]] whose powers is [[{{Irony}} based on an actual god]]]], he probably would have done fairly well for himself.
213* SuperpowerLottery: The Rumble-Rumble Fruit's powers are right alongside the Tremor-Tremor's (Whitebeard's Fruit) in both destructive power and range, and the second fastest Fruit we've seen so far after the [[LightEmUp Glint-Glint Fruit]] (Admiral Kizaru's Fruit). It's even been stated to have a reputation of actual '''invincibility''', as nothing but the [[WeaksauceWeakness Gum-Gum]] [[KryptoniteFactor Fruit]] can survive a face full of ''lightning''.
214* ThunderDrum: Has a ring of drums behind his back, and one of the ways he can channel his powers is to pound on the drums.
215* TookALevelInKindness: Based on the chapter cover stories, telling what happened to him after Skypiea. He gets to his beloved Fairy Vearth, and becomes disillusioned to an extent when he stays there alone for a long while. However, it turns out a race of mustached robots live on the moon, and he defends them for no real benefit from a group of SpacePirates in a fierce battle with their captain. After winning, he then becomes their leader.
216* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Going with his divine motif, Eneru's favorite food are apples, in a nod to the fruit of temptation. He starts eating one right when he debuts, and another while discussing Shandora with Robin later. Some of the video games will have him pull out an apple to eat after winning a fight.
217* UnusualEars: The earlobes have been stretched down to his chest. Luffy doesn't fail to insult him for this.
218* VillainousBreakdown: Has an epic multi-chapter one starting the moment Luffy {{No Sell}}s his lightning. By the time he leaves for the moon after losing to Luffy, it's clear that what little sanity he had to begin with is gone, ranting about how Fairy Vearth is for him alone and nobody else can have it. Morikawa and Tatum's unhinged voice acting (Episode 193 for the curious) really hammers it in.
219* VillainousValor: To Eneru's credit, despite suffering the mother of all {{Oh Crap}}s upon realizing his ShockAndAwe powers can't hurt Luffy, Eneru's first response isn't to run. Instead, he adapts to Luffy's abilities and fighting style, choosing to use his lightning powers less for direct offense and more to [[FlashStep evade]] and enhance his attacks with heat, and turning his staff into a spear under the realization that Luffy is still susceptible to getting stabbed and slashed.
220* WalkingShirtlessScene: Eneru never wears a shirt, similarly to many eastern deites.
221* WeaksauceWeakness: Luffy alone is immune to his electric attacks and can bypass his intangibility. Eneru's reaction after learning this is priceless. He adapt to it quickly however, and is still defeated after a long and exhausting fight.
222* WhereIWasBornAndRazed: Eneru came to Skypiea after destroying his home island of Birka.
223* WouldHitAGirl: [[AGodAmI Considering what he thinks of himself]], it's not surprising he's not above hitting women.
224** Poor Robin! Zoro angrily tells him that, "She's a woman!", shortly after Eneru strikes her down, and he coldly responds that he's aware of the fact. Summed up by this quote:
225-->'''Eneru''': "I despise conniving women." (Chapter 274)
226** A few chapters before this, he fries Raki, telling Wyper that her gender doesn’t matter when she’s still a warrior (she had also technically attacked him first, to no avail).
227** Similarly, he tries to fry Nami once she reveals that she's not going to be his companion to Fairy Vearth or his willing accomplice to him destroying Skypiea. It's to her good fortune that she knows enough about weather manipulation that she can NoSell his attacks with her Clima-Tact until Usopp and Sanji save her.
228* YellowLightningBlueLightning: An interesting case in that it's both: Eneru's lightning powers are colored yellow in the manga and a more realistic bluish-white in the anime.
229* YouHaveOutlivedYourUsefulness: Did this to his own men. Shoot, he did this to ''the entire island of Skypiea''!

232!!!The Four Priests
233
234[[folder:In General]]
235Eneru has gathered around him four unusually strong individuals, all powerful, rather quirky, and above all, dedicated to his cause. Those four warriors, called the four priests, are currently overseeing special "ordeals" meant to test newcomers and see whether those newcomers will go with "God" to the Fairy Vearth. Using unique combat techniques and possessing the "Mantra" giving them a small prediction power in combat, the priests proved to be fearsome opponents for the Straw Hats, at the time not familiar with Haki.\
236
237They are subsequently all defeated by the Shandians and the Straw Hat crew, and exiled on a desert island after Gan Fall becomes, again, the God of Skypiea, save for Gedatsu who has fallen down to the Blue Sea and opened a spring resorts.
238----
239* CoDragons: They are Eneru's strongest and most important followers.
240* CombatClairvoyance: All of them can predict their enemies' actions thanks to Mantra, which is just their term for Observation Haki. They are also the characters who introduce the concept of Haki, albeit under a different name, and this makes them tough foes for the Straw Hats.
241* EliteFour: They fit the bill, since they are the four most powerful fighters under Eneru.
242* TheExile: Save for Gedatsu, after Eneru's defeat they are all exiled in a desert cloud along with Yama.
243* MeaningfulName: Their name come from the concept and terms of Buddhism:
244** Ohm is the holiest syllable in Hinduism, and begins most mantras. [[PunnyName It's also the unit to measure electric resistance]], fitting when you're the priest of a man who has eaten the [[ShockAndAwe Rumble-Rumble Fruit.]]
245** Satori is the Japanese Buddhist term for enlightment.
246** Shura is Japanese for "Carnage".
247** Gedatsu is Japanese for Moksha, the Buddhist term for liberation of the soul.
248* TeethClenchedTeamwork: They despise each other, to the point no one is saddened or angered by Satori's defeat, and work together only because they're all Eneru's subordinates.
249* WingedHumanoid: Being Sky People, they all have a pair of white wings [[WingsDoNothing which do not have any purpose.]] In this case the shape is of the Birkans.

260->''"Men live for prosperity, yet for prosperity they fight and die. Thus, wouldn't it be better if they hadn't done anything to begin with? Why must men contradict themselves with their principles... Oh... The sorrow... Fortunately, there is still one way of salvation. All they need to do is to die!"''
261
262One of Eneru's priests and the one in charge of the Ordeal of Iron, which has a survival rate of 0%. In the ordeal, the victims are trapped in a cage of thorned iron cloud strands. On the ground there are multiple pressure plates that, when stepped on, cause the dials to eject barbed wires of clouds which shred the victims. If the traps don't do the job, Ohm himself deals with the victims.\
263
264He's a calm and serious fighter. He considers life and greed nothing but burdens that cause sorrows, therefore he honestly wants to save people by killing them.\
265
266He's also a strong fighter, as proven by his trial which has a survival rate of zero percent. His weapon, Eisen Whip, is a katana with a cloud blade that can change shape, becoming a fork, a sword, a whip or even a wall. He also owns a giant dog, Holy, which he trained and taught martial arts to, that fights alongside him.
267----
268* BaldOfEvil: He lacks hair and is the most dangerous out of Eneru's priests.
269* TheBeastmaster: He has trained a huge white dog named Holy. Now he can even walk on two legs and box!
270* {{BFS}} His sword is almost as long as he is tall, and he can still swing it like it weighs nothing. Possibly Justified, since it's made of Iron Cloud and not actual iron.
271* BilingualBonus: "Eisen" is German for "Iron", fitting for a sword.
272* CombatCommentator: While fighting during the last part of Eneru's survival game, whenever someone is defeated, he shouts the number of remaining combatants, counting even the animals.
273* CoolShades: Wears a pair of cool sunglasses.
274* ImplausibleFencingPowers: Even counting the ability of change form, one wouldn't expect the katana to cut stone.
275* TheDragon: From all of Eneru's followers, he is the most prominent, dangerous and competent.
276* KatanasAreJustBetter: Of course, his shapeshifting weapon's main form is that of a katana.
277* MorphWeapon: His weapon, Eisen Whip, is a katana which, thanks to its Iron Cloud blade, can turn into a whip, a wall, a trident, and a spear.
278* PreMortemOneLiner: Says to Zoro "Make your last prayer to god, swordman of the Blue Sea" before striking the finishing blow. However, Zoro's ''108 pound cannon'' proves to be stronger.
279* ScaryBlackMan: He has dark skin and is a very dangerous villain.
280* SleevesAreForWimps: Of course, the toughest priest wears only a tanktop on his muscular body.
281* SmugSuper: He's really confident of his ability and looks down on the other fighters. Still, if his ordeal has a survival rate of zero it means he has managed to kill any victim so far.
282* SoulsavingCrusader: What he sees himself as. He believes that, by living, men suffer and are sad, therefore it's better if he kills them.
283* TheStoic: Save for a few tears shed when he explains the burdens of life, he remains calm and collected all the time.
284* StrawNihilist: Thinks that life is full of burdens therefore he claims that by [[SoulsavingCrusader killing people, he saves them.]]
285* SwordBeam: With his katana, he can send slash waves that can destroy multiple stone walls.
286* TenderTears: As proof that he genuine believes in what he does, he cries when talking about his philosophy.
287* ThisCannotBe: He never expects Zoro to slash through his attack and gets caught completely off-guard before being defeated.
288* WellIntentionedExtremist: He ''genuinely'' wants to save everyone... by killing them, so they won't be sad anymore.
289* WhipSword: Eisen Whip can become a whip too (as you might have guessed by the name) though he uses the whip form to shoot projectile-like attacks more than an actual whip.

300->''"For the crime of running away, someone must pay for it with his life as "sacrifice". This is the way of the world."''
301
302One of God Eneru's priests. He runs the Ordeal of String, which has a survival rate of 3%. In his ordeal, the criminals are tied by almost invisible cloud strings placed by the priest and then finished off. He is cruel to every transgressor and believes that for every crime, someone has to pay, regardless if said person committed the crime or not. He's also very confident of his abilities.
303
304He fights using a javelin with a heat dial which allows it to set its targets on fire. He rides a [[GiantFlyer giant sanjonzo]] named Fuza which has a flame dial in his mouth, giving the illusion it can spit fire.
305----
306* AdventurerOutfit: Of the airman kind. His outfit is based on an early 1900s aviator and, although he doesn't have a plane, he rides a giant bird named Fuza.
307* AffablyEvil: After Chopper asks him for mercy and for him not to destroy the ship, he stops and talks with him about his punishment philosophy, only to ultimately declare that [[YankTheDogsChain Chopper has to pay for his friends' crime.]]
308* AirJousting: Engages in some against Gan Fall.
309* CombatPragmatist: His preferred method of fighting is to immobilize his opponents with traps made of strong, yet hard to spot strings, then finish them off. This is how he manages to beat Gan Fall and almost does the same to the Shandians.
310* DirtyCoward: His fighting style shows he doesn't like fighting his opponents head on and prefers to trap his foes in invisible ropes before he strikes them.
311* FatalFlaw: His overconfidence is what causes him to get caught off guard by Wiper, who defeats him with a Reject Dial.
312* GogglesDoNothing: To complete his aviator outfit he has a pair of googles, which are more often than not on his forehead, especially during a fight.
313* JoustingLance: He uses a jousting lance, which is equipped with a heat dial, making a dangerous sky rider.
314* KillItWithFire: Both his main attacks rely on using fire, either with Fuza's (fake) fire-breath or with the heat dial in his lance.
315* KnightTemplar: He blindly follows the Upper Yard's rules and executes them punishing everyone who commits a crime, and, if he doesn't immediately meet the transgressors, even those who don't.
316* MisplacedRetribution: To him, if someone commits a crime, ''someone'' has to pay. Then even those who committed the crime have to be punished to make them realize their mistakes.
317* WeHardlyKnewYe: Non-fatal example, but Shura doesn't get much time to develop a personality before he's taken out early into the survival game.
318* TheWorfEffect: After capturing the Shandia warriors besides Wiper, the latter quickly defeats the priest, making Shura the first to be taken out of the survival game, to show how strong Wiper is.

330
331One of God Eneru's four priests. He runs the Ordeal of Balls, which has a survival rate of 10%. In his ordeals the area is filled with "Surprise Balls" (''Bikkirutama'') which, while all identical, each have a different trap, from an explosion to a giant crab.\
332
333He's a playful and sadistic man who enjoys seeing victims going through his ordeal, but quickly panics when something goes wrong. He mainly fights through the various traps inside his Surprise Balls, but also wears a couple of impact Dials in his gloves. Aside from that, he's probably the weakest priest combat-wise and is the least trained in [[CombatClairvoyance mantra]].\
334
335He has two younger twin brothers, Hotori and Kotori, who look alot like him.
336----
337* {{Acrofatic}}: Despite his round body and short limbs, he can swing in the Upper Yard forest quite easily.
338* AintTooProudToBeg: After bragging about his status as priest and the punishment for beating him, he begs Sanji for mercy right before receiving a kick on the head.
339* AstonishinglyAppropriateAppearance: The guy who runs the "Ordeal of Balls" has a body as round as a ball.
340* AttackReflector: His gloves have a pair of Impact Dials, which absorb and then reflect all damage.
341* BewareTheSillyOnes: Luffy and Sanji underestimate him because of his carefree attitude, and he proves to be a dangerous opponent.
342* FatBastard: He's so fat that he's round, and is quite sadistic.
343* FourEyesZeroSoul: Wears a pair of yellow-shaded glasses and enjoys the sight of the victim fighting to survive his ordeal. It gets broken after Sanji kicks him.
344* {{Gonk}}: Not exactly ugly, but his proprtions are quite odd.
345* HoistByHisOwnPetard: His own explosive Orbs attack redirected against him, although it's not what finishes him.
346* LargeHam: His cheerful and carefree behaviour, combined with his near-constant dancing, make him quite the presence.
347* NonchalantDodge: Thanks to Mantra, he easily dodges multiple attacks from Luffy, even a [[RapidFireFisticuffs Gomu Gomu no Gatling]].
348* OhCrap: He panics once Luffy gets the trick behind his "Tama Dragon", followed by an even bigger one when Luffy stops him and he is about to be defeated by Sanji.
349* PerpetualSmiler: He constantly has a smug and childish smile, [[OhCrap until Luffy catches him.]]
350* PsychopathicManchild: He hops and dances while sadistically enjoying Luffy, Sanji and Usopp fighting for their lives against his traps.
351* ShesAManInJapan: The German dub made Satori and his brother all female. This became a DubInducedPlotHole because of Sanji's refusal to attack women, especially given how Sanji finishes Satori off.
352* SignatureLaugh: Like many characters, he has a unique laughing style: ''Ho, ho hooo!''
353* StrongFamilyResemblance: He has two younger twin brothers, Hotori and Kotori, who basically look more like two clones of him. The only difference between him and them is that he has long red hair and lacks horns (although the latter could have been hidden by said hair).
354* TrapMaster: He doesn't directly fight his enemies, but prefers facing them using his countless Surprise Balls, each with a completely different kind of trap.

366
367One of Eneru's priests. He runs the Ordeal of Swamp, which has a survival rate of 50%, the highest out of all the four ordeals. In his ordeal, there are many sinking clouds and he throws purple clouds on his victims' heads, causing them to drown.\
368
369He has many odd habits that make him one of the quirkiest characters of the series (which says alot), like not knowing how to cross his arms properly, thinking instead of talking, forgetting how to blink or even how to ''eat with his mouth!'' He's not aware of this and has a subordinate that constantly remembers for him. Despite this, he's a serious and ruthless fighter and doesn't care for his subordinates, even when he accidentally attacks them.\
370
371He uses a pair of Milky Dials under his shoes to fly above the sinking clouds, a pair of dials in his sleeves which generate purple clouds to toss against his enemies, and Jet Dials on his left elbow to give strong punches ([[ClothingDamage destroying his suit in the process]]).\
372
373He gets his own Mini-Adventure where, after being defeated by Chopper, he falls onto an island near Alabasta and helps Goro, Kohza's uncle, in building a hot springs resort.
374----
375* AchievementsInIgnorance: He somehow manages to dig standing on a wall completely unassisted in a mini-adventure. It's also implied that he didn't even intend to survive his fall, judging by his shocked expression, as well as him unintentionally building an entire bath-house without even being aware of what he's doing.
376* AnimeHair: His hair is tied in multiple dreadlocks pointed upward.
377* BadassArmfold: Averted. He cannot properly cross his arms, resulting in a quite funny pose. He plays this straight only once, after he becomes the boss of Blue Sea.
378* BadBoss: Gedatsu nearly kills a subordinate of his with his ''Swamp Cloud Burger'' attack out of incompetence, and his only reaction is to mock said subordinate for having his life saved by Chopper. Then, after his subordinate declares he will no longer obey him, Gedatsu doesn't hesitate to punch him.
379* BlankWhiteEyes: Parodied. Like all characters in One Piece, when he gets angry, his eyes become completely white. However, he forgets to roll his eyes back, so he cannot see and thinks the others have become invisible.
380* BunnyEarsLawyer: Despite all his strange habits, he's still a very strong and competent fighter.
381* ClothingDamage: Downplayed. When he uses the Jet Dial on his left elbow, it destroys part of his left sleeve.
382* CloudCuckoolander: Not only he has many absurd habits, but he's also unaware of them and needs someone else to make him realize what he's doing.
383* ADayInTheLimelight: Gets his own mini-adventure: ''Gedatus's Accidental Blue-Sea Life''.
384* DefeatEqualsFriendship: He [[AchievementInIgnorance accidentally]] defeats the Dirt Boss, which helps him to dig a tunnel from Alabasta to the hot springs.
385* TheDitz: With all his strange habits and quirks, he's one of the strangest and hilarious characters. He often doesn't remember how to speak or eat, how to properly cross his arms, thinks the things he wants to say or even forgets ''how to breathe or blink his eyes''.
386* DumbMuscle: Gedatsu can throw out pretty strong punches, but he's very dumb in matters outside of fighting, as demonstrated through his various quirks.
387* EstablishingCharacterMoment: When Chopper asks if he's the priest, he presents himself... [[EpicFail in his thoughts.]] Then a subordinate makes him notice the mistake and he comments that he's been careless.
388* HeelFaceTurn: In his introduction he's one of Eneru's four priests and a BadBoss toward his subordinates but, during his mini-adventure, he helps a guy he just met to build a hot springs resort.
389* HoistByHisOwnPetard: Chopper defeats him by removing one of his shoes and he ultimately sinks in the clouds of his own ordeal. As if that isn't enough, when he tries to free himself with the remaining cloud dial, since he's upside down, he sinks further until he falls from the clouds.
390* IJustShotMarvinInTheFace: When he uses a ''Swamp Cloud Burger'' on Chopper, he accidentally hits his subordinate.
391* LaughablyEvil: It's hard to take seriously an evil priest who tries to speak with his lower lip stuck in his mouth.
392* MadeOfIron: He survives ''falling from the sky!''
393* OhCrap: When he realizes that Chopper has removed one of his shoes.
394* RocketBoots: Has a pair of Milky Dials under his shoes to propel himself and help him avoiding sinking in the clouds.
395* ScaryBlackMan: He's a black guy and an evil priest. [[SubvertedTrope Subverted]] in that he's actually more [[TheDitz goo]][[CloudCuckoolander fy]] than scary.
396* ThinkingOutLoud: Inverted. Sometimes he thinks what he wants to tell.
397* WallCrawl: Somehow, he digs while standing on the wall.
398* WildTake: While not that extreme, he always makes a surprised face when someone makes him realize his strange quirks. Also when he realizes he hasn't become the "Boss-Man" of the Blue Sea like he'd intended, but the "Bath-Man".

411->"''Enough of this nonsense! Don't forget that this is where God resides!''"
412
413The commander of the divine soldiers. He's fanatically devoted to Eneru, even moreso than the four priests, yet, at the same time he has no respect for the world around him, as seen when he fights without caring about the ancient ruins he's destroying.\
414
415Despite his fat build, he's actually really strong, being able to smash even stone ruins with ease, and agile. In fights, he mostly resorts to physical attacks like punches, kicks and belly drops. He also has a belt with ten Axe Dials sewn on it, often used in combination with his belly attacks.
416----
417* {{Acrofatic}}: Despite being ridiculously fat with tiny limbs, he can move around pretty fast.
418* AintTooProudToBeg: Once he's immobilized, he says that he's sorry for having broken Shandora's ruins and asks to be freed. [[RejectedApology Nico Robin replies that what he's done is unforgivable]], so he tries to kill her only to be knocked out by his own Axe Dials.
419* CurbStompBattle: Easily defeats Genbou with his pure physical strength, then he's on the receiving end against Nico Robin, who manages to deal easily with his attacks.
420* TheExile: After Eneru is defeated and is no longer the God of Skypiea, he's exiled on a desert cloud with Satori, Shura and Ohm.
421* FatBastard: His fatness is directly proportional to his level of jerkiness. His fat makes him extremely bad-looking, reflecting his equally bad personality.
422* {{Fingore}}: He really pushed Nico Robin's BerserkButton, as the latter, among other things, breaks his fingers.
423* TheFundamentalist: He's completely devoted to Eneru, to the point of calling out the priests for fighting in his temple.
424* {{Gonk}}: When you're heavily overweight, you cannot exactly be beauty context material.
425* HateSink: There's nothing nice to say about him, making his crushing defeat at the hands of Nico Robin all the more cathartic.
426* HoistByHisOwnPetard: After beating him up, Robin flips his belt and he gets sliced by his own Axe Dials.
427* {{Jerkass}}: He's even nastier than the four priests, and when Nico Robin tells him about the Shandora ruins, he destroys them with no care.
428* LargeAndInCharge: He is really large and stands out when he's among his underlings: the Divine Soldiers.
429* MeaningfulName: Yama means "Mountain" and most of his attacks are named after the word "mountain".
430* MookLieutenant: As the commander of the Divine Soldiers, he basically serves as this.
431* NeckSnap: For destroying part of Shandora's ruins, Nico Robin breaks his spine.
432* RankScalesWithAsskicking: He's the commander of the divine soldiers, and is much stronger than them. At the same time, he doesn't have the same authority of the priests, who are Eneru's strongest servants.
433* RazorWind: The Axe Dials around his belt create cutting wind. he uses them to make his body slam even stronger.
434* SmugSnake: He greatly underestimates the Shandia Warriors and the Straw Hats, to the point that he's persuaded that he and his soldiers should be able to defeat them all without any difficulty, even without the priests' help. He has no idea just how wrong he is...
435* StoutStrength: He is ''really'' fat, even moreso than Satori, who is basically round, but can smash stone with ease or kick back a cannonball.
436* VerbalTic: Just like the mook he controls, he often says "Meh", albeith in an hammier fashion.

447->''"C'mon who's Hotori and who's Kotori? Which hand has what? What will we attack with?"''
448
449Satori's younger twin brothers and the vice commanders of god's militia. In addition being almost identical to their twin brother, they are just as childish and sadistic as he is. However, they do care for Satori, and are angered by his defeat.\
450
451They fight in unison, proving to be a tricky combo for Nami and Gan Fall. Hotori has a Flame Dial and an Axe Dial while Kotori has an Impact Dial and a Flavour Dial. They fight combining their dials and using their identical appearance to confuse their enemies.
452----
453* {{Acrofatic}}: They sure hop around quite easily for having such a fat body.
454* AlwaysIdenticalTwins: There is no physical difference between them and are impossible to distinguish from each other. They exploit this by constantly switching places so their enemies won't know who is who or how each of them will attack. Even their personality is the same.
455* BaldOfEvil: The main difference between them and their brother is that they lack Satori's long red hair. They're just as nasty as him, however.
456* CombinationAttack: Kotori's smelly gas combined with Hotori's flame causes a big explosion.
457* ConfusionFu: Part of their fighting style involves posing as the other twin and tricking their opponents so they don't know what to guard against.
458* TheDividual: They are identical both appearance and personality wise and are always seen together. They take advantage of it in their fighting style, to confuse their enemies.
459* DualBoss: A non videogame example. They fight together using different tactics to confuse their enemies and make combined attacks with their dials. On a related note, they also fight two of the heroes in a two on two battle: Nami and Gan Fall.
460* EliteMook: [[RankScalesWithAsskicking Fitting for their position as vice-commanders]], they are definitely stronger than the common soldiers, but are weaker than the priests.
461* EvenEvilHasLovedOnes: They definitely care for their older brother, and their main motivation for attacking the ''Going Merry'' and the people on board is to avenge him.
462* {{Fartillery}}: Kotori's Flavour Dial emits a fart-like sound and releases a stinky gas that, if set on fire, [[FartsOnFire causes an explosion]].
463* FatBastard: They're as round as Satori and just as sadistic.
464* FireballEyeballs: Hotori has these after his twin brother is defeated just to show how angry he is.
465* FourEyesZeroSoul: Just to be even more similar, they wear the same yellow-shaded glasses of their older brother.
466* {{Gonk}}: They have the same cartoonish proportions as Satori.
467* HornedHumanoid: Just like all the mooks, they have a pair of small horns.
468* KickThemWhileTheyAreDown: To them, it doesn't matter if Sanji and Usopp have been already knocked by Eneru's thunder, they still have to pay and the twins literally kick them while they're unconscious.
469* LargeHam: Clearly the hamminess runs in the family, as they have the same hammy behaviour of their brother.
470* PerpetualSmiler: You wouldn't guess they're angry about Satori's defeat by their constantly happy expressions. [[RoaringRampageOfRevenge Hotori drops his smile when Kotori gets taken out.]]
471* PlayingWithFire: Hotori's left glove has a Flame Dial which does [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin exactly what you would expect from this name]].
472* PsychopathicManchild: Remember how Satori dances and laughs while sadistically watching the victims of his trial? Well, they act the same while personally delivering the punishment to their enemies.
473* RazorWind: Hotori has an axe dial in his right glove which creates cutting wind.
474* {{Revenge}}: They are clearly angry that Satori has been defeated, and want to make Sanji and Usopp pay. When Kotori is defeated, Hotori gets even angrier and swear no mercy to Nami and Gan Fall, going into a full RoaringRampageOfRevenge that doesn't last long as he's quickly defeated by Nami.
475* ShesAManInJapan: Like Satori, the German dub made all brothers female.
476* SignatureLaugh: They have the same distinct laugh as their older brother, Satori: ''Ho, ho hooo!''.
477* SquishyWizard: Their attacks are tricky and put even a strong fighter like Gan Fall on the edge (albeith he's been already injured by his fight with Shura) but once Nami and Gan Fall find an opening to attack, they fall down in one hit each.
478* StrongFamilyResemblance: Admit it, the moment you saw them, you knew they were Satori's brothers. In their own case it's justified, since they are twins.
479* ThisCannotBe: After seeing that Gan Fall has managed to avoid his explosion, Kotori has just enough time to make this reaction before he's defeated in a single attack.
480* ThisIsUnforgivable: After Kotori is defeated, Hotori swears he'll have no mercy on Nami and Gan Fall.
481* {{Troll}}: Kotori often makes his enemies thinks he's Hotori with a Flame Dial only to attack them with a fart from his Flavour Dial.
482* TrashTalk: During their fight, they keep looking down and insulting Nami and Gan Fall when they fall for their tricks.
483* UnderestimatingBadassery: They seriously think Nami and Gan Fall won't see through their tricks, and are ultimately defeated in quick succession.

493Ohm's dog. He's a giant white-yellow dog that the priest trained and even taught him how to walk on two legs and use martial arts. He's so well trained that he obeys anyone, even his enemies.\
494
495He's quite strong, as he defeats multiple Shandia warriors by himself. He fights along his master, Ohm, and assists him in the executions.
496----
497* ActionPet: Not too surprising from a dog the size of a truck. He's a strong fighter and is one of the last combatants defeated.
498* BareFistedMonk: He's really quite skilled with martial arts, being able to even deliver {{Shoryuken}}-like punches.
499* BlindObedience: Exaggerated. While it's not strange for a dog to obey his master, he even obeys Zoro's accidental order to "stay put", this despite Zoro being an opponent. The swordman exploits this ordering Holy to knock himself out.
500* CanineCompanion: He constantly follows Ohm and fights alongside him.
501* CanisMajor: He's so big he can keep Shandian in his mouth and transport Ohm on his head.
502* DogsAreDumb: Sure, he must be smart to be able to learn martial arts, but then he obeys Zoro's order to knock himself out...
503* PerpetualFrowner: Save for a few moments when he fights, he constantly has a frown on his face.

529The primary soldiers of Eneru's army.
530----
531* AnimalMotifs: Their physical appearance (especially their [[HornedHumanoid horns]] and ears) as well as the fact that they are constantly bleating make them look a lot like goats. Luffy even mistakes one of them for an actual goat, and gets disappointed when he realizes he wasn't one.
532* TheDogBitesBack: After being almost killed by his boss Gedatsu, one of the soldiers decides to help Chopper againt him, but he gets quickly defeated.
533* HornedHumanoid: They all have a pair of horns, similar to those of a goat.
534* MookFaceTurn: As mentioned above, a soldier gets saved by Chopper after Gedatsu nearly drowned him with one of his attacks, and subsequently decides to join force with the Straw Hat. Unfortunately, Gedatsu easily defeats him.
535* {{Mooks}}: While they do a fine job at fighting normal Shandians, they are easily defeated when faced against the Straw Hats or the strongest Shandia Warriors.
536* RazorWind: All of them are armed with Axe Dials, whose power is to create cutting wind.

541
542[[folder:In General]]
543[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/shandia.png]]
544
545The Shandians are a tribe native to the island of Jaya. Fiercely protective of their homeland, the Jaya have had a violent history against outsiders and when their homeland was by accident blown up high into the sky, they warred against Skypiea to protect their lands. When Eneru came, they were forced out of Jaya, went into hiding, and began a raiding activity.\
546
547The elite fighters of the Shandia Tribe comprise the Shandia Warriors. They're at war against God Eneru and his army in order to take their land back from the Skypiean.
548----
549* AncestorVeneration: Their culture and beliefs place a lot of importance on respect for one’s ancestors.
550* BadassCreed: "Relight the fire of Shandra!"
551* BadassCrew: They're all formidable fighters who can easily deal with Eneru's mooks.
552* BadassNative: When you have a BadassCrew where the members are based off Native Americans and can hold its own against the likes of Zoro and Luffy, every single one of them is this.
553* BraidsBeadsAndBuckskins: They clearly have a Native-American inspiration. They live in tents just like those of the natives and their clothes and hairstyle mostly follows those of a stereotypical Native-American with a modern touch. Their conflict with the Skypieans over what was originally their land resembles the conflict with Native Americans and European settlers.
554* FantasyCounterPartCulture: Given their history, beliefs, and style of dress they’re evidently based on the Maya.
555* FatalFlaw: Territorialism. As Upper Yard was their ancestors’ former home before they were forcibly evicted by the Sky People, the Shandians are obsessed with trying to reclaim it for themselves, making numerous attacks against Eneru’s forces despite the greater power of him and his priests incurring numerous casualties. It also compels them to come into conflict with the Straw Hats, despite sharing a common enemy in Eneru, simply because as they view any non-Shandian on Upper Yard as trespassers and are quick to [[MurderIsTheBestSolution respond violently]].
556* ProudWarriorRaceGuy: Most of them take pride on being strong warriors.
557* SpellMyNameWithAnS: Some translations refer to them as the "Cyandians."
558* WingedHumanoid: They have the same vestigial wings as the Skypieans. As it happens, they had wings ''before'' the Knock-Up Stream sent them to the sky.

572A Shandian, who are a group of natives from the Blue Sea blasted into Skypiea, fighting to reclaim his homeland for his people who were unjustly ousted from it by the Skypieans.
573-----
574* AntiHero: Acts rather coldly, especially towards strangers, but there's no denying his noble motives.
575* BadassNormal: He fights evenly with Luffy, Zoro, and Eneru himself, and would've actually beaten the latter if not for a DiabolusExMachina. He gets back up from everything anyone throws at him, and when he does finally go down, it's on his own terms, using the Reject Dial a third time to help Luffy.
576* BerserkButton: He gets rather offended when strangers or enemies address him by name.
577* {{BFG}}: His weapon of choice is a Burn Bazooka.
578* BrokeYourArmPunchingOutCthulhu: He defeats Eneru using the Reject Dial, which causes a lot damage to him (considering a double use is normally fatal, he gets away pretty good). However Eneru quickly restarts his heart after their battle, meaning Wyper had almost killed himself for nothing.
579* DangerousForbiddenTechnique: He has a Reject Dial which, like Impact Dials, absorbs attacks, but it fires them back at ''ten times'' the original force. This is known to kill not only the target, but also the user if used twice.
580* {{Determinator}}: The Reject Dial is said to be able to severely harm (if not outright kill) the user when it's used. Dude uses it ''3 times'' trying to defeat Eneru and he still survives, although with almost all of his bones broken.
581* DidntThinkThisThrough: Of the "too angry to be reasonable" variety. When he sees Aisa with Nami, he tries to "save" her from the pirate by firing his Burn Bazooka at Nami. That this would have incinerated Aisa along with Nami is lost on him, but not her.
582* DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu: Manages to actually catch Eneru by surprise and ''kill'' him through the use of the deadly Reject Dial. Unfortunately, Eneru can revive himself using his powers as defibrillator.
583* GenerationXerox: Wyper is described as being very similar to his ancestor and famous Shandian warrior, Calgara.
584* HairTriggerTemper: Wyper goes from calm to extremely angry with minimal provocation and usually deals with it by destroying everything in his path.
585* HotBlooded: Wyper is extremely passionate about his pride, country, ancestry and duty.
586* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: While he may be violent, he cares very much for his people. By the end of the arc, he becomes much more friendly.
587** Notably, one of his few on-page shows of vulnerability is to scream at Eneru that Raki is a noncombatant and should be spared (when Raki is taking ''that exact moment'' to unload her rifle into Eneru's chest). For his part, Eneru promptly fries her and mocks Wiper as a chauvinist.
588* KnightTemplar: He will destroy anyone who stands in his way in order to ring the Bell of Shandora, even those who haven't done anything to him. He gets better after Luffy rings it and defeats Eneru.
589* MadeOfIron: Normally, using the [[DangerousForbiddenTechnique Reject Dial]] two times kills the user. He survives using it ''three times''. He's the first person who survives using the Reject Dial more than two times. He also got fried by Eneru twice.
590* NobleSavage: He might be "The Berserker", but at the end of the day he's just fighting for the well-being of Shandia and, if you're his friend, he's pretty okay outside of fights.
591* PerpetualFrowner: His one major difference from his ancestor Calgara - despite being every bit as violent and suspicious toward outsiders, Wiper takes absolutely ''no'' visible pleasure even in victory, and is overall probably the most humorless ally/semi-ally the Straw Hats have ever met.
592* ProudWarriorRaceGuy: He's a Shandian, so it comes naturally.
593* RedBaron: He's known "Wyper the Berserker" (''Senki no Wyper'') because he can be fierce towards the threats of his land.
594* SmokingIsCool: He's seen smoking a cigarette, and he's the most badass among the Shandians.
595* SpellMyNameWIthAnS: His name is spelled as "Waipa" in some English translations.
596* WaveMotionGun: The Burn Bazooka not only fires cannonballs, but also a large blue flame that looks like a [[EnergyWeapon laser beam]]. Amazing what Dials can do.
597* WhereAreTheyNowEpilogue: From Decks of the World shows he became one of Skypiea's Elite Guard. Not bad, considering his attitude to Skypieans before.
598* WingedHumanoid: A common feature of the Shandians including him.

610
611She is very kind, and has a deep relationship with her cousin Aisa, comparable to that of two sisters. She's also loyal to Wiper and, although she considers him too violent, she understands his good intentions. However, at the same time, she's not afraid to protest his decisions. After Eneru is defeated, she also becomes good friends with Conis and they even open a restaurant together.\
612
613As a Shandia Warrior, she's supposedly quite proficient in battle, and wields a rifle and a small shield.
614----
615* ActionGirl: Well, she's a Shandia Warrior, although she doesn't fight many people herself.
616* CoolBigSis: Raki is really close to Aisa and would do anything to make her happy, even collecting Vearth in the middle of a war.
617* HeterosexualLifePartners: After the grudge between Shandia and Skypiea ends, she becomes close friends with Conis, a Skypiean. After the two years timeskip, they've even opened a restaurant, where Raki cooks while Conis serves the customers.
618* LuckilyMyShieldWillProtectMe: Has a small shield on her left elbow, even though its size doesn't make it very useful.
619* MadeOfIron: Eneru's mighty thunder knocks her out just for a few minutes, after which she's already back standing up.

632One of the Shandia Warriors and among Wiper's most trusted fighters. He's protective of Aisa and Raki, as he warns the former about the danger of the Upper Yard.\
633
634He's one of the strongest Shandians, to the point that even ''Eneru'', of all people, praises him, despite not being even close to his level. His weapons are a simple spear and a Burn Blade, which consists of a flaming sword created by a dial.
635----
636* CoolShades: Has a pair of round red-shaded glasses.
637* CurbstompBattle: The only reason he lasts so long against Eneru is because the latter gives him five minutes to do whatever he wants. After the time is over, Eneru quickly dispatches him.
638* DelinquentHair: Has a mohawk and, along with the other Shandia Warriors, he takes part in a rebellious attempt to take over from god Eneru and conquer the Upper Yard. Eight years before the start of the story, he used to have braids.
639* FlamingSword: Bordering with LaserBlade. His Burn Blade has a Breath Dial that can create, in an istant, a long blade made of super hot fire.
640* MadeOfIron: He survives Eneru's point-blank attack, despite the latter even accidentally taking out multiple mooks, and manages to stay conscious for enough time to warn Raki about Eneru's power.
641* NoShirtLongJacket: After becoming one of God's guards, he wears a long jacket but keeps it open, revealing there's nothing underneath.
642* OhCrap: After pointlessly attacking Eneru for five minutes, he realizes that none of the Shandia warriors would be able to defeat him.
643* PeltsOfTheBarbarian: Wears a sleeveless fur vest, [[WalkingShirtlessScene and nothing else on his chest]]. Even after becoming a God's guard, he still keeps it under his coat.
644* SkySurfing: Unlike the other Shandia Warriors, he doesn't use the Jet Skis, instead flies with a Jet Board propelled by a couple of Breath Dials.
645* WorthyOpponent: Downplayed, since he never consider anyone his equal, but Eneru praises Kamakiri's fighting skills and even gives him five minutes of time to attack him however he wants. [[NoSell Of course, Kamakire cannot hurt Eneru in any way.]]

656
657One of the Shandian Warriors. Braham is a calm and collected individual but also a merciless and pragmatic warrior. He's also quite confident of his abilities, leading him to underestimate his enemies.\
658
659Like most Shandia Warriors, he has a pair of Jet Skys which help him make acrobatic maneuvers in combat, and a pair of guns, each with a Flash Dials. Thanks to the flashes he makes when he shoots, he can dazzle the enemies.
660-----
661* BadassLongcoat: After becoming one of God's guards, he wears one as a uniform.
662* CombatParkour: Thanks to his Jet Skys, he can make some impressive maneuvers to dodge his enemies' attacks or reach a good position to shoot them. He can also kick them if they're close enough.
663* CombatPragmatist: He uses the flashes of his Flash Guns to dazzle his enemies the moment they're about to attack him, so they miss, as seen during the fight with Zoro, where he doesn't allow the swordman to land a strike. He also doesn't hesitate to attack his enemies InTheBack.
664* DefeatMeansFriendship: After the war, he's seen celebrating with Zoro, the one who has defeated him. Justified since, by then, the Shandians and Straw Hats don't have any more reason to fight.
665* EyeObscuringHat: His hat covers the upper part of his face, including his eyes. He's been wearing said hat since childhood.
666* FragileSpeedster: With his agile maneuvers and pragmatic skills, he's quite hard to hit, but once Zoro manages to slash him, Braham goes down with a single strike.
667* GunFu: His gun skills and acrobatic skill combined make him one of Shandia's strongest warriors, to the point of having the edge during his enitre fight with Zoro, except the end.
668* GunsAkimbo: He wields two Flash Guns which have a pair of Flash Dials that allows them to emit a flash of bright light whenever they're shot.
669* TheGunslinger: As you can see from all this tropes, he's quite proficient with his guns, and gives Zoro a run for his money.
670* GunTwirling: During a fight, he sometimes twirls his guns before shooting his enemies.
671* LetsSplitUpGang: He's the one who suggests to his companions that they separate so that they'd be harder to find.
672* PragmaticHero: While he has overall good intentions and wants the best for his tribe, like all Shandia Warriors, he's not above using cheap tricks in combat and shooting without no mercy an enforcer who has surrendered.
673* UnderestimatingBadassery: Subverted. At first he thinks Zoro isn't more than the average mook, but after seeing him endure one of his kicks, he comments that he's actually quite strong. Double subverted later on, as he still thinks a swordman with no dials is inferior to him. This overconfidence gets him defeated.

685One of the strongest Shandian Warriors. Due to his limited screentime, not much is known about his personality, save for the fact he doesn't give up even when the enemy is clearly stronger than he is.\
686
687His weapon is a bazooka that shoots iron balls which, as Yama comments, is a rarity in the sky. However, this isn't enough for him to defeat the commander of God's army.
688----
689* BadassLongcoat: Wears a cool one as a uniform after becoming one of God's guards.
690* {{BFG}}: His main weapon is a large bazooka that shoots iron balls, and iron is a rare material in the sky, this makes his weapon more unique.
691* CurbStompBattle: His battle with Yama ends quickly with his defeat.
692* DefiantToTheEnd: Knowing he won't be able to stop Yama's attack, he stands still and just screams "[[BringIt Bring it on, Yama!]]" before being finished off.
693* FormerlyFat: After the timeskip, he doesn't have the same bulky body as before, even if it's still quite imposing. Either he lost weight, or the coat is really tight
694* HoistByHisOwnPetard: Yama defects back to him one of his iron balls with a kick, rendering Gendou vulnerable for an attack that knocks him out.

711* BoisterousBruiser: Talks loud and really enjoys fighting.

714* CombatPragmatist: Subverts TalkingIsAFreeAction and shanks Noland as he's distracted.
715* EarthyBarefootCharacter: As a BarbarianHero and tribal warrior, Kalgara goes shoeless. His wife and daughter do not.

717* FieryRedhead: Has a mane of wild red hair, matching his fiery spirit.
718* HappilyMarried: To a Shandian named Herb. They had a daughter named Mousse.

721* HotBlooded: In contrast to the calm Noland.
722* LightningBruiser: Fast enough to be compared to a demon, strong enough to swing a giant ball and chain with ease.
723* ManlyTears: As he greets Noland farewell and promise to always ring the bell to guide him.
724* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: After making friends with Noland, he suddenly turned hostile upon finding out that he and his crew cut the holy trees of his people. Then, just as Noland is leaving forever, he learned that those trees were dead and infected with a grave disease that would have destroyed the island. This is his reaction to the news, running towards the beach and mentally apologizing to Noland.
725* OddFriendship: With Montblanc Noland.
726* ProudWarriorRaceGuy: Being a part of the Shandian tribe, who loves hunting and fighting.
727* RedOniBlueOni: The red to Noland's blue. Noland is calmer and wiser while he is HotBlooded.

744A young Shandian girl who was born with a powerful version of Observation Haki, or Mantra. So strong, she doesn't know how to shut it off. As a result, she can tell over a great distance of several miles when people die. She fights with her people to be rid of Eneru and wants peace to come to Skypiea.
745-----
746* BlessedWithSuck: She has Mantra potent enough to sense people dying and Eneru just decides to start a battle royal between the Straw Hats, God's militia and the Shandia warriors. Do the math.
747* TheEmpath: She was born with Mantra, and can sense people's emotions as well as when they are dying.
748* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: She's initially distrustful of people, even the Straw Hats, but she's still a good person overall.
749* KillItWithFire: Her main weapon is a fire axe.
750* SpiderSense: "Mantra", more commonly known in the Blue Sea as Observation Haki.

766A giant snake who used to live in Jaya before the island got knocked into the sky.
767-----
768* ChekhovsGun: While in her stomach, Luffy finds various golden items she swallowed. The Straw Hats go back inside her belly to claim them after defeating Eneru, and the money they get from selling them is used by Franky to buy the Adam Wood for the Thousand Sunny.
769* ExtremeOmnivore: She can swallow almost anything, including buildings. Luffy even finds a bunch of gold inside her belly, which they steal in the aftermath of the Skypiea Arc.
770* GiganticAdultsTinyBabies: As a baby, she was the size of a normal snake, but in present day she's larger than a building.
771* PoisonousPerson: She emits a very dangerous venom from her mouth. [[PoisonIsCorrosive Apparently, it's powerful enough to melt a massive tree.]]
772* Really700YearsOld: She was born more than 400 years before the manga's events and she even met Noland and Calgara when she was still a small snake.
773* RidiculouslyCuteCritter: When she was a baby, she was truly adorable. Even as an adult, [[CuteGiant she can be pretty cute when she's not trying to kill everyone]].
774* SuperToughness: Her scales are incredibly strong, to the point that even Luffy's punches, Zoro's swords and Wiper's Bazooka failed to cause any damage to her. That being said, she still gets taken down easily by Eneru's lightning.
775* SwallowedWhole: She seems to have a tendency to do this with every human she tries to eat, starting with Luffy, and later doing the same to Nami, Aisa, and Gan Fall. Justified since this is how snakes eat their preys. It works in their favor by allowing them to escape detection from Eneru's Mantra.
