[[caption-width-right:1000:The artistic Traveler]]

The protagonist of the game. A first-year art major student at St. Shelter Academia and the author behind the popular manga "In Passing", who drew inspirations from her peculiar dreams. As a special entity called the Traveler, she has the ability to travel to different realities.
----
* ActionGirlfriend: Happens naturally in worlds other than Earth, since her voyage is full of danger and she has to partake in fighting a lot. This is often pointed out.
** In Ayn’s Godheim route, Ayin’s private Inquisitor army treats her as his girlfriend who, as far as they know, defeated several wild animals on her own and killed a bear barehanded.
** In Ayn’s Eden route, the Order goes full ShipperOnDeck when they see how her and Ayn act around each other, with the only thing that stops them from outright referring to her as his girlfriend is Ayn’s temperament.
* TheAgeless: As a Traveler, she will stop aging once she hones her power to a certain point.
* ArtAttacker: Her special ability is to summon Illustra, "spirit of the painting", that do the combat for her. As her powers come from sketching, improving her drawing skills does make her stronger in turn.
* ArtInitiatesLife: With her Illustra power, she can bring characters to life and make them follow her through the universe.
* ArtistsAreAttractive: The male leads all appreciate her artistry and are connected to her in one way or another through her art. Special mention goes to Cael, who inspired her to try out painting in the first place and thus can see the charm of a fellow artist.
* ArtsyBeret: She wears a beret all the time in the Modern World, befitting a SequentialArtist and art major.
* AscendedFangirl: She has been a fangirl of the artist Emerald for a long time and started her painting career because she was inspired by him. Then she finds out Emerald is actually by her side all along as her guardian and tutor Cael. O’Connor, the artist whose artwork inspired her to enroll in St.Shelter Academia, also becomes a teaching assistant in her department, though for him she suffers a mild case of BrokenPedestal.
* BasedOnADream: In-Universe example; She drew "In Passing" entirely based on her dreams, so she doesn’t have much knowledge about Godheim despite being the author of the manga where it is the main setting.
* BadassAdorable: She’s an adorable lady with plenty of quirks on her own. At the same time, she’s a powerful ArtAttacker and her identity as a DimensionalTraveler puts her above human themselves. [[spoiler:Cael]] comments that if trained properly, she has the potential to be a capable destroyer of worlds just like himself.
* BadassBureaucrat:
** At the end of Lars’ Godheim route, for her contributions to Godheim, Lars crowns her a noblewoman and court official, and she acts as an intermediary between him and the people. Her job is made easier when many of them view her as a Goddess who saved their world and are willing to place their trust in her, and she also has no need to hide her Illustra power anymore.
** In a majority of true endings where she [[IChooseToStay stays in Eden]], she becomes the Mistress of Eden and manages the place alongside her chosen love interest. In the ''Eden Reborn'' timeline, she’s the mayor of a huge city which she also names "Eden" in honor of her experience.
* BefriendingTheEnemy: In Alkaid’s Eden route, she agrees to his "Time for Love" idea because it allows her a means to learn about the situation and the Master of Eden himself. [[spoiler:Her love eventually contributes to his HeelFaceTurn, or more accurately, helps him fight back TheCorruption and returns to being a well-meaning person.]]
* BigEater: She has a huge fascination for food and a giant appetite.
* BizarreDreamRationalization: She initially tries to cope with her situation in Godheim by thinking that it’s a bad dream.
* ButNowIMustGo: The routes from Eden onwards give her the option to return to her old life on Earth, while also holding her partner in her heart or occasionally visiting them [[BetterAsFriends as a friend]].
* BreakTheCutie:
** Her first experience in Godheim isn’t exactly kind to her: she’s put on a false pedestal only to be used as a HumanSacrifice in the end, witnesses the horrors the Glacial Butterflies brought to Godheim, has to leave the only person who was kind to her behind in a cruel and crumbling world, and sees said world and its people falling to the EternalWinter. The MC is so shaken by the experience that she feels compelled to make things right, but the journey becomes thornier. In some endings, she can even undergo SanitySlippage.
** She struggles a lot to be familiar with the sheer brutality of Eden. In Ayn’s route, seeing a man being executed by his comrades for reaching his limit gives her nausea, and Ayn has to let her rest for the day.
* ChildOfTwoWorlds: Her unique parentage [[spoiler:as the descendant of a Traveler and an intelligent life form from another world makes her an extraordinary existence of great value to her mother’s civilization, so her mother had to employed several methods to GiveHerANormalLife.]]
* TheChosenOne: As Cael found out, just like Godheim’s Clarence, she is a special existence whose fate cannot be interfered and whose actions cannot be tempered with. When he tried, it always quickly ends with her death and [[ResurrectionDeathLoop the timeline resets instantly]].
* ChronicHeroSyndrome: Although she has been successfully sent back to Earth by Alkaid, she still feels a need to return and help save Godheim, even if it will cost her her life. This resurfaces in Eden, where she quickly accepted the plea for help of a child in her dream and traveled to another world despite being warned not to.
* ClaimedByTheSupernatural: The "Crimson Scars" Ending of Ayn’s Godheim route reveals that the MC has strange red marks on her neck after returning from Godheim, which are described as "as if someone had left a kiss there".
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: Her line of thought when doing Sketches can shift entirely into this category if the player doesn’t connect the Inspirations correctly. For example, for the theme "Mermaid Fairytale", instead of drawing a mermaid, she will draw an actual fish with human legs.
* CoverBlowingSuperpower: There’re times the situation can easily be resolved if the MC simply uses her Illustra power, but her hands are tied because letting the imperial family and the Magi Tower know that she can pose a threat will result in her being locked up in a cage until death.
* CustomUniform: Her outfit resembles none of St. Shelter Academia’s uniforms, and they have ''three''!
* DeadpanSnarker: She has quite a sharp tongue, which she uses to tease the male leads and scoff at situations she finds ridiculous.
* DeathIsCheap: For a DimensionalTraveler like her, death simply means a reset and being sent back to the beginning.
* DesperatelyLookingForAPurposeInLife: Underwent one in her high school years since she was still a grieving EmptyShell, until she discovered Emerald who invoked her love for art.
* {{Determinator}}: She will always push forward no matter how much hardship she undergoes, and persists in fighting against the flow of time with her sheer willpower to save Godheim and her own world. As it turns out, it's her resolute determination that transports her back into the past, and allows her to accumulate experience and strength in combat.
** In Clarence’s Godheim ending, she hones her ability for literal centuries and pushes herself to the limit, just so she can one day [[spoiler:enter the spatio-temporal gap to save Clarence.]]
* DevotedToYou: [[spoiler:Cael is more devoted to her than he’s willing to admit, and after numerous failed attempts to keep her out of danger altogether, he lets himself be trapped in the GroundhogDayLoop she created so that he can observe her growth from afar and intervene when necessary.]]
* DimensionalTraveler: She’s a Traveler, people gifted with the ability to travel between worlds and [[TimeTravel time]].
* DontCallMeSir:
** When she becomes a BadassBureaucrat in Lars’ route, the court officials all refer to her as "Your Majesty" in accordance to her official title by Lars, but she admits that she much prefers simply being called "Miss".
** When she takes over the management of Eden, she doesn’t enjoy being called the "Mistress of Eden", but is unable to convince Eden’s residents otherwise.
* DontYouDarePityMe: Back to when she just lost her mother, she ranted to Cael that she didn’t want to meet anyone she knew because she couldn’t stand it when people looked at her like she was pathetic, and she hated it even more when they asked her how she was doing as a form of empty pleasantries while not actually care about either her or her mom.
* DreamRealityCheck: Being a GenreSavvy SequentialArtist, she immediately tries pinching her cheeks when she finds herself in the setting of her own manga. The result is also stereotypical.
* DreamWeaver: After the ''Book of Tales'' event, she gains control over the dream realm modeled after her childhood imaginations.
* DudeMagnet: While their feelings towards her are not necessarily love and may simply be an interest or admiration, she does attract the attention of various men with her wits, kindness, talents and charms, including the love interests.
* EmptyShell:
** She fell into a depressive state after her mother’s death, was completely unmotivated to do anything, especially going to school, and made many unreasonable requests because she couldn’t be bothered with logical thinking. It required Cael’s unearthly patience and [[AwesomenessByAnalysis analysis]] to catch up with her whims, which embarrasses her when she looks back. This also happened when [[spoiler:Cael tried to monopolize her after losing his control over her in one timeline]], which gradually turned her into a soulless husk until [[spoiler:Cael was unable to see her in that state anymore and set her free again.]]
** In Eden, this happens every time Alkaid erases her memory to keep her by his side. As she spends her days in idle, she loses more and more of her emotion and eventually can only smile like a robot.
* FashionDesigner: In the first Halloween event, she designs and makes the costumes for Ayn, Lars, Alkaid, Clarence and herself for the Halloween festival at school after a request from the Student Council.
* TheGadfly: She isn’t above teasing and poking fun at the love interests for a good laugh.
* GuileHero: She’s a clever and resourceful girl who manages to survive in another world and act out her plans to search for the truth and solution, all while having her hands tied often due to CoverBlowingSuperpower.
* GroundhogPeggySue: After being dragged into Godheim, she is stuck in a GroundhogDayLoop that spans from the day she’s summoned to the Daphnephoria, the day she would be sacrificed, and everything will reset once she dies. In a twist, just saving Godheim doesn’t end the loop; [[spoiler:she has to resolve the roots of the problems by getting an understanding of the truth and helping [[ParadoxPerson Clarence]] establish his existence, and then she will get the right to decide her future.]]
* HairColorDissonance: Her hair color is officially dark grey, but in artworks it can vary between black and dark purple. According to the official artbook, [[InvokedTrope this is actually intentional]], since dark grey can appear as different colors depending on the lighting, conveying the idea of "variability" which matches with the game’s theme of TheMultiverse.
* HandmadeIsBetter: She often makes homemade gifts like a cake or a painting for the love interests.
* HeroicSelfDeprecation: Her low self-esteem surfaces every now and then. She tends to blame herself for bad circumstances she and her companion find themselves in and can be insecure even in daily life, such as when she compares the worth of her artwork with Emerald’s in a call with Cael.
* KindheartedCatLover: She adopts a stray cat when she moves to her off-campus residence on Harp Island. While she’s unfamiliar with raising a cat and there’re plenty of antics happening between them, it’s clear that she really loves her cat and appreciates how it spices up her life.
* IChooseToStay: In the Epilogue of several routes, she mentions that she may never find a way to return to Earth, but is content with leading a new life in another world with her love interest of choice.
* LaserGuidedAmnesia:
** In several endings where she’s forcefully sent back to the Modern World, what happened in Godheim are all wiped off her mind. She’s still aware that [[WistfulAmnesia something is missing]], but never manages to recover any of her lost memories and has to move on with an inexplicable emptiness in her heart.
** [[spoiler:Her mother erased her memories about her family, especially her father, to help her lead a new life unbounded by past traumas.]]
* MacGuffinSuperPerson: [[spoiler:Prefect Luminary is interested in her capabilities and wants to own her for himself.]]
* MoralityChain: She's this to [[spoiler:Cael]]. While he isn’t exactly a good guy and [[BlueAndOrangeMorality his morality doesn’t work the same way as mortals]] , he still applies restrictions to his actions and finds it difficult to do anything morally questionable when it concerns the MC.
--> [[spoiler:'''Cael''']]''':''' Normally I could care less about humans and their so-called "morals", but when it comes to her, it's different.
* MasterActor: In Lars’ Godheim route, she plays the role of an overbearing DarkMistress who happily flaunts her status as TheEmperor’s beloved in order to keep the court under control while Lars is still bedridden from his fever, and even decides to gild the lily with an extra flourish as she exits the room. Her act genuinely surprises Clarence before he plays along with it. She and Lars also put on the act of InsatiableNewlyweds to deter the court from bothering them when what they currently have is just a celibate partnership.
* MundaneUtility: In Clarence’s Godheim epilogue, she uses an entanglement spell to do her braids, which effectively annoys Clarence.
* MyGreatestFailure: Naledi’s death becomes a shadow that haunted the MC for a good part of her journey in Godheim and Eden, and she’s determined to protect Lin to avoid the same tragedy from happening again.
* NiceGirl: She’s kind, sincere, and will always extend her hands to those in need.
* OnlyInItForTheMoney: PlayedForLaughs in the ''Seasonal Hunt'' event, she only agrees to join the Bounty Hunters after they promise to pay her thrice the normal amount.
* ProperTightsWithASkirt: Dresses like this in her default outfit.
* {{Protectorate}}: [[spoiler:Cael sees her as this because of ThePromise he made with her mother, and he has been trying to keep her from acquainting herself with TheMultiverse and getting in the way of his mission for her own safety, to no avail. At first, he simply regards her as his mission, a price his colleague has to pay, and it's his duty to ensure that he fulfills his side of the bargain, but as time goes on he comes to cherish her and protects her on his own will.]]
* RavenHairIvorySkin: She has been said to have a beauty that can sway man and woman alike.
* RealLifeWritesThePlot: ''In Passing'' was initially BasedOnADream, but after her journey in Godheim, it becomes this. It’s most evident in Lars’ White Day stories, where she changes the male lead to the emperor and makes him and the lady the OfficialCouple thanks to experiencing how Lars was in Godheim.
* RetroactivePrecognition: Thanks to TimeTravel, she can predict some future events and act accordingly, as long as the situation resembles what happened in previous loops.
* RetroactivePreparation: Her GroundhogDayLoop in Godheim is a journey of continuous training and learning. After going through multiple timelines, she earns a good understanding of the situation and can prepare so that she will find a way to truly save Godheim and end the loop.
* RippleEffectProofMemory: She remembers what happened in all the loops she went through, which she promptly uses to her advantage.
* SensitiveArtist: She is an emotional person with a vivid mind, and Cael points out that she infuses her artwork with all her sorrow, joy, and understanding of the world. Back to her high school years, as her mental state was unstable, she behaved in an instinctive manner and tended to have emotional outbursts that only Cael could quell.
* SequentialArtist: She’s an up-and-coming comic artist known for the best-seller manga "In Passing".
* SetRightWhatOnceWentWrong: While she has been sent back to the Real World by Alkaid in The Beginning, she goes back to Godheim because she wants to fix the situation, and the routes’ endings notwithstanding, she has failed countless times.
* StrongButUnskilled: Eden’s Clarence comments that while the MC is a capable and skillful combatant, she’s only good at life-or-death situations and is more neglectful when it comes to smaller battles and details even though as a "NEOS", she’s supposed to understand that danger is everywhere and always stay vigilant. The MC can only reply with silent, knowing that he’s spot-on with his observation.
* SuperpowerfulGenetics: She inherited [[spoiler:her [[ArtAttacker Illustra power]] from her mother, a fellow [[DimensionalTraveler Traveler]] with powerful BrownNote ability, and Cael notes that had he fully trained her to follow her mother’s footsteps, she would have received the title of "Prefect" just like her.]]
* SupremeChef: The first Halloween event proves that she’s a talented candy maker, and she has tried her hand in baking in several instances. In Ayn’s Godheim route, she even makes sparkling fruit wine as a gift for his birthday with Godheim’s medieval-level technology.
* TargetedHumanSacrifice: Clarence and Lars want to use explicitly her as a sacrifice for the Descendance Ritual because she is a Traveler who will guide them to the promise land, and the strong emotions she feels as an Otherworlder unjustly killed for a world she has nothing to do with will provide enough power to activate the Descendance Zisurru, which can only be compared by the collective grief and anger of 100,000 desperate people on the verge of death.
* TechnicianVersusPerformer: The Performer to Cael’s Technician in terms of art. To Cael’s admission, at the beginning, she doesn't learn particularly quickly and her skills are amateurish, but her painting skills already far exceed his own because her works contain true feelings and strike at people’s heart with rich and potent emotions.
* TemporalParadox: [[spoiler:In Clarence’s Godheim route, she initially wandered through space and time in search of the Clarence who had already turned into a Glacial Butterfly, but was somehow carried back to his past and unwittingly became an influential figure in his life who guided him, pulled him back whenever he was about to stray, and inspired him to keep living.]]
* TookALevelInBadass: While she’s by no means incompetent in the beginning, the GroundhogDayLoop gives her the chance to practice her Illustra power, helping her go from [[ScrewThisImOuttaHere avoiding]] [[TheArchmage Clarence]] at first sight to fighting him one-on-one and getting a draw out of him. If you follows his route until the finale, she will hone her ability to the point she breaks through the physical limitations of time and transcends the very laws of the universe, just so that she can [[spoiler:enter a spatio-temporal gap and drag Clarence out unscathed.]]
* {{Tsundere}}: {{Downplayed}}; She is normally kind and patient to everyone, even [[TroubledButCute Ayn]], but when talking with Lars she doesn’t bother to hide her exasperation towards his antics. That said, she soon mellows her attitude towards him.
* WentCrazyWhenTheyLeft:
** In the "Embers" Ending of Ayn’s Godheim route, she becomes hysterical when she learns that Ayn was ReassignedToAntarctica and they NeverGotToSayGoodbye, and rushes out to find him without regard to her power being exposed but was promptly stopped by Clarence. Clarence deems her too dangerous and locks her up until the Daphnephoria, so she never gets a chance to know what happened to Ayn.
** In the "Tomorrow" Ending of Alkaid’s Godheim route, when Alkaid was punished because of her, she goes into a depression and suffers from auditory hallucinations that only let her make out Alkaid’s voice and no one’s else. She mindlessly spends her days around his CrystalPrison until the day she’s sacrificed, and even Lars reproaches Clarence for turning her into a lunatic.
* WillfullyWeak: The MC keeps her Illustra power under covers and plays the role of a defenseless damsel most of the time in Godheim due to the risk of CoverBlowingSuperpower.
* YouAreInCommandNow: In Eden, Ayn wants her to join his side in hope that she would inherit his position as the Chief of the Order because [[spoiler:[[YourDaysAreNumbered he doesn’t have long to live]] and his position is holding him back from truly following his desires.]] Later in his route, when he leaves to find the missing members, she takes over the command in a moment of crisis and give orders to the Order to hold their own against the Lost, and at the end, she’s the de-facto Chief whenever Ayn leaves on expeditions.
* YouAreWorthHell: [[spoiler:When she and Clarence are at the entrance to the spatio-temporal gap, he tells her that he saw a future where she would follow him into the gap and reminds her not to do the same. She can reply in a way implying that she’s fine with spending eternity in that futureless void as long as they have each other.]]

!Tropes exclusive to her future selves in Awakening Chapter
!!Starry Sea

----
* TheCaptain: She’s the captain of the 9th Armanda, one of the battleships that protect the human fleet from danger in space.
* FamedInStory: When she visits the mothership, the students treat her like a celebrity and openly express how they admire her and want to join her crew.

!!Dragon City

----
* DragonWithAnAgenda: She works under the Outsiders for three years in order to find and create an opportunity for humanity to strike back.
* FamilialBodySnatcher: She can take over the Puppet and communcate with Ayn face-to-face when the Outsiders don’t supervise her.
* HeroWithBadPublicity: Everything she has done is for the sake of protecting humanity, but in their eyes she betrayed them and sided with the Outsiders to earn the power over the Dragon City. Every time she appears on the screen to announce something, the people all call her with derogatory terms like "fraud", "traitor", "puppet", and "sinner".
* PoliticalHostage: Alien invasion version. She offered herself as a hostage to the Outsiders, who are heavily implied to be the Infinite Empire, in order to keep humanity from being obliterated.
* RobotMaster: She created an [[RobotMe android version of herself]] and gifted it to Ayn under the guise of keeping him company, but its true purpose is to be their exclusive means of communication, away from the Outsiders’ observation.

!!Paradise
* TheGhost: Unlike other routes, the MC’s future version is absent in the entirety of Paradise and only appears briefly in the end.

!!Eternal Night
* TheAloner: She was alone in the barren Earth for years, and talking to her pet robot is the only way to keep her sane.
* FellAsleepCrying: After bringing Clarence to her hideout the first time, she cries in her sleep.
* IChooseToStay: When Clarence asks her why she doesn’t leave Earth despite having the ability to, she replies that Earth is still her home and she doesn’t want human civilization to end here.
--> ''After all, this is my world, my home. It looks barren now but l've seen it in its prime. To me, it is irreplaceable.''
* InsistentTerminology: She refuses to believe that Clarence has any humanity and keeps treating him like an android by using technical terms for his functions. [[spoiler:She’s trying to cope with Clarence’s death and doesn’t want to see the androids made in his likeness as his ReplacementGoldfish.]]
* MyGreatestFailure: She blames herself for being deceived by a false signal and leaving Earth for 100 years instead of staying and defending it with her compatriots.
* StepfordSmiler: Although she shows a cheerful and friendly demeanor, she is deeply affected by the isolation and the loss of her loved ones.
* WrenchWench: Living in a world dominated by robots forced her to become more adept in machinery.

A senior in law major and the student council president’s assistant. The Art Exhibition Promo is handled by him in the Admin Building, and his favorability can also be raised in Academy Reputation.

His Godheim counterpart is Liam.
----
* AffectionateNickname: In the Japanese dub, he calls the MC "Kouhai-chan".
* AnimalsHateHim: Despite being a KindheartedCatLover, the poor guy is despised by cats for no apparent reason. The closest he can get close to them before they run away is 2 meters, though he’s working hard to change this predicament.
* BunnyEarsLawyer: While he is TheGadfly and ButtMonkey, he still accomplishes his job as a member of the student council with perfection. In Clarence’s "Break Time" Illustra story, William displays great professionalism when treating guests who came to Harp Island for a conference, surprising the MC.
* ButtMonkey: If anything funny happens, there’s a high chance William is the butt of the joke. This trait extends to even his more serious counterparts.
** He accidentally reveals to Clarence himself that he has been impersonating the latter for fun, right after he makes the MC promise not to do that.
** He loves cat and even founded a club to adore them, but AnimalsHateHim.
** In his own Affinity events, his attempts to go out with the MC are all thwarted by Clarence, intentionally or not.
** In ''St. Shelter Princess Day'', he’s the only one who got DraggedIntoDrag. Following that, in one Itinerary event that involves having their role in a play decided by luck, William gets a female role. Happens ''again'' in Clarence’s White Day stories.
* DecoyLeader: Played for Laugh in his initial introduction. He acts as if he’s the StudentCouncilPresident while giving the first-years a tour around the school, but he’s actually the president’s ''assistant''. This is done without Clarence’s knowledge and William begs the MC to keep this a secret because he thinks Clarence wouldn’t be happy about it.
* DraggedIntoDrag: O’Connor makes him wear a maid outfit for ''St. Shelter’s Princess Day''. While William is initially baffled and embarrassed by this, he eventually gets into his role. In Clarence’s White Day story, he’s also forced to disguise as Jaclyn to help her escape her fans.
* EndearinglyDorky: His bloopers and antics tend to endear both the MC and the player.
* KindheartedCatLover: William absolutely adores cats: his computer is filled with cute cat videos and pictures, and he is also the founder of the Purrfect Pals Association. In a cruel twist of fate, AnimalsHateHim.
* ProperlyParanoid: The day before the Stellaris Cup, William expresses his worry that there’re too many unusual things revolving this year’s contest, such as the rushed timing and the voices from an empty room, and something doesn’t sit quite right. Come the first performance of the Stellaris Cup, and [[spoiler:the contestant literally dies on stage]].
* RoseHairedSweetie: He’s a cheerful and friendly senior for the MC, with the pink hair to match.
* SayingTooMuch: He accidentally lets it slip that he has been impersonating Clarence to mess with the first-years as he’s scared by Clarence and the MC’s silence after he told them his paranormal encounter. Clarence only replies that [[NothingIsScarier they will talk about it later]].
* SuperGullible: He honestly believe that the LieDetector and MentalPictureProjector he bought from a shady online shop would work, to Clarence’s consternation.
* ThousandYardStare: Played for Laughs. The MC comments that he looks like this after being forced to disguise as Jaclyn and get squarmed by her fans to help the real one escape.
--> ''In one of William's hands feebly holds a wig. His movements appear rigid, and he has a thousand yard stare reminiscent of a shell-shocked soldier returning from a hellish battle.''

The Art teaching assistant at St. Shelter Academia and the former student council president. He first appeared in the 2020 (2023 in Global) Halloween event ''Magical Halloween'' under the disguise of "Masked Tuxedo", and shows up in the academy after ''St. Shelter’s Princess Day'' event.

He has an Eden counterpart with the same name.
----
* BrokenPedestal: The MC is bamboozled that the artist that left a great impression on her and inspired her to enroll in St. Shelter Academia turns out to be the {{Cloudcuckoolander}} who follows her around in the Admin Building, puts up an eyesore of a poster, and greets her by calling her a "princess" and himself her "faithful servant".
--> ''I long wondered about the great artist behind those paintings, and how dignified and cultured he must be... Glancing at the man standing in front of me, I'm starting to understand why they say you should never meet your heroes.''
* BunnyEarsLawyer: O’Connor may appear like an unserious joker, but his skill in art is undeniable.
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: He’s spontaneous, goofy and overall doesn’t care how he’s perceived. This is hinted at in his first appearance, where he wears a huge jack-o-lantern helmet that clashes with his outfit and photobombs the MC and her friends. In "St. Shelter’s Princess Day", he starts the organization of Princess Day without any warning and forces his junior to do all sorts of eccentric things from crossdressing to acting like a servant. When tracking down Ayn, he does a superspy act even though the MC is right next to him, causing her to exasperatedly tell him to stop.
--> ''If this joker is going to be a teaching assistant, God help the art department.''
* CrazyPrepared: He proposed for the organization of Princess Day a year ago before he left office, and Clarence has no way to stop him since the proposal was already passed and the validity period is still in effect.
* EccentricArtist: He’s so deep into the Cloudcuckooland that he makes everyone look normal in return, and he also happens to be the artist who inspired her.
* GoodSamaritan: His motivation for organizing St. Shelter‘s Princess Day? He wants everyone to have a day where they can have fun without thinking by fully immersing themselves in the fantastical atmosphere of a party tailored after the PrincessPhase.
* HotTeacher: He’s the art teaching assistant and a bonafide LongHairedPrettyBoy.
* IKissYourHand: He kisses the MC’s hand in their first formal meeting, which startles her. He then apologizes and defends himself by saying that since he has spent time in many different places, he sometimes confuses one region's greetings for another.
* LargeHam: The entire Princess Day is his "little party to introduce [himself]".
* ManipulativeBastard: PlayedForLaughs since it’s all done for a good and harmless goal, but he did pull some strings to make Princess Day a reality. He prepared all the needed permissions [[CrazyPrepared a whole year prior]] so that Clarence will have no way to stop him, persuades the MC to join the project by dangling the scholarship she needs before her eyes, and makes her invite Ayn, Alkaid and Lars knowing they will not reject her.
* TheNicknamer: He has given Clarence several nickname, from "[[OneLetterName C]]" to "Little Clarence".
* StudentCouncilPresident: He was the former president before Clarence, and unlike his successor, he had a reputation for planning a series of events that caused a lot of trouble for the entire Student Council.

The first friend the MC made in St. Shelter Academia, a fellow first-year in the Dance major.
----
* KilledOffForReal: When the MC returns to the Real World from her first voyage in Godheim, she is treated to the news that Naledi had a cardiac arrest. No matter how many times the MC travels back in time, even as far as the day before the Stellaris Cup, she’s never able to change the events that led to Naledi’s death.
* NiceGirl: She offers to help the MC unpack her luggage thinking the latter is a new resident of the dormitory, and is a kind and helpful girl until the very end.
* SacrificialLamb: Naledi’s SurprisinglySuddenDeath is the [[HumanSacrifice literal catalyst]] to transport the MC from an idly school life in the Real World to the magical and chaotic Godheim, kickstarting the true plot of the game.
* SmallRoleBigImpact: She died early on, but her death still weighs heavily on the MC’s mind as of Eden, which motivates the latter to protect Lin at all costs.
* SurprisinglySuddenDeath: Naledi is minding her performance in the Stellaris Cup, with the weirdest things that happened so far was the mysterious circumstances behind this year’s contest, when she’s literally sacrificed on stage to bring the MC to Godheim. To the people other than the MC, she died of a heart attack, which is equally sudden.
* WeHardlyKnewYe: The MC has only befriended her for some days before she died in the Stellaris Cup.

The Principal of St. Shelter Academia and a professor in the Astronomy department.
----
* AffablyEvil: Even though he’s the one who sent her to Godheim to be used as a sacrifice, he treats the MC amicably when they meet again through the water mirror and is willing to disclose the reason for his actions to her. Later, he still maintains his courtesy while blaming the MC for Amelia’s death.
* AtLeastIAdmitIt: He points out that many criminals expect forgiveness by [[FreudianExcuse telling a sob story]], but on his part, he isn’t defending his actions and simply wants to give the MC a vision on what pushed him to such decisions.
* DespairEventHorizon: His daughter’s death makes him lose any interest in the world around him and he develops a SuicidalCosmicTemperTantrum.
* TheDogWasTheMastermind: He first appeared as a friendly principal of the MC’s school and a friend of her guardian Cael, but Clarence’s Godheim route reveals that Heinrich is the one who orchestrated Naledi’s death and the MC’s current predicament.
* EvilPrincipal: He employs his own students as bodyguards for his unethical underground lab, and has no qualms killing one of his students and getting another TrappedInAnotherWorld to be used as a HumanSacrifice.
* FreudianExcuseIsNoExcuse: The MC acknowledges that his situation is simply tragic, but it doesn’t excuse his attempt to have her sacrificed in another world and destroy Earth.
* GadgeteerGenius: Using modern technology, he can make contact with another world across the sea of stars, and modified the observatory emitter into a spatio-temporal emitter that lets him become a SpaceMaster [[PsychoactivePowers with his emotions]].
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: His own spatio-temporal emitter is what kills him, either because his body couldn't withstand such a vast amount of energy, or his emotions were too erratic for the spatio-temporal resonance.
* KilledOffForReal: Once the MC manages to turn off the emitter, Heinrich also stops breathing due to the strain from operating it with his mind.
* MagicFromTechnology: In an effort to relieve Amelia’s pain, he studied Godheim’s magic with a scientific approach and can replicate the effect of the Magi Tower’s potion using modern technology, allowing him to bring about the apocalypse if he really wants to.
* MirthlessLaughter: The evening he received the news of his daughter’s death, he didn't shed a single tear but instead laughed hysterically all night, until the whole institute thought he was crazy. He admits that he was laughing at himself for realizing too late that [[HeelRealization he’s a horrible father]].
* MyGreatestFailure: His negligence towards his late daughter, and the guilt prompts him to desperately find a chance to amend by protecting Amelia - her Godheim counterpart.
* OutlivingOnesOffspring: His daughter and her classmates were on a spring outing and wandered into a cave, where they got lost and never made it out. Heinrich chose to construct his laboratory in the same spot his daughter died both to honor her memory, and so that he would never forget his past blunder.
* PapaWolf: He will do anything for the safety of Amelia - the Godheim counterpart of his late daughter Emma, from making a deal with Archmage Clarence to transport a student of his to Godheim as a HumanSacrifice, to begging said student to protect Amelia without any regard for his own ego. Needless to say, he goes berserk when Amelia dies.
* ParentalNeglect: Even though he got custody of his daughter after his divorce, he often indulged himself in astronomical research and spent more of his time making observations and running calculations than with her. This caused him great regret when she died in an accident.
--> '''Heinrich:''' My pursuit of the stars and the universe was pompous and self-aggrandizing. In reality, all I was doing was neglecting my daughter, and now I'd paid the ultimate price.
* PsychoactivePowers: The spatio-temporal emitter works by amplifying his intense emotions without limit, and as a result the space-time resonance contains vast amounts of extremely potent energy. His chaotic emotions also cause the forcefield to attack everything blindly.
* SpaceMaster: Via the spatio-temporal emitter, he can produce a force strong enough to alter space and time itself. In his own words, he could crack the skies, tear the earth asunder, and obliterate entire planets, but the only thing he wants to do with this power is to bring Amelia’s corpse back to him.
* SuicidalCosmicTemperTantrum: {{Downplayed}}; Heinrich doesn’t actively seek the destruction of Earth, but his grief is so great that there were days he hoped and prayed for an alien invasion to come and raze Earth to the ground just to put an end to his suffering. He’s also too far gone to care about how he will cause an apocalypse via PsychoactivePowers.
* TragicVillain: All he wants is to see his "daughter" live in peace and nothing else, but Amelia dies the day after the MC promised him to keep her safe and Heinrich loses all that are left of his sanity. Heinrich never set out to harm anyone, and the destruction of the planet is simply a side effect when the emotion that powered the spatio-temporal emitter is the grief of a father who [[OutlivingOnesOffspring lost his daughter the second time]] and is desperately trying to retrieve her corpse from across the universe in a hysteria.
* WalkingSpoiler: His appearance in Clarence’s Godheim route and his motive will clear a lot of questions from the start of the arc.
* WellIntentionedExtremist: Everything Heinrich has done is an effort to make amend for his negligence towards his late daughter by protecting her counterpart in another world. He does not care how his actions affect others because he has nothing else to lose.
--> ''Heinrich never set out to harm anyone. He just used whatever means necessary to research, to learn... to try and save one person.''
* YoungerThanTheyLook: He’s 44, but his wrinkles and greying hair makes him seem much older. It seems to be the stress of losing his daughter getting into him.

* CoolCar: She drives a Phantom, which Lars describes as "darn near the fastest thing on four wheels".
* CutenessProximity: The instant she sees the MC, she gushes over how adorable the girl looks and that she would love to have a little sister like her, completed with sparkling eyes.
--> ''The Headmaster's eyes are filled with adoration. It feels as if she's going to pick me up and smother me with kisses like a little girl does with a kitten.''
* DubNameChange: In the Chinese and Japanese version, her name is "Ann". The Korean version names her "Elysia".
* FashionDesigner: Downplayed. She admits that fashion design is just one of her minors and she wouldn't go so far as to call herself a designer just yet, but her designs occasionally see the light of day because her family owns a clothing factory.
* PuttingThePalInPrincipal: Compared to Heinrich, who appeared like this at first but actually kept a distance from his students, Liore is much more amicable and genuinely passionate about her position.
* RedBaron: For her level of authority in the Moirai Group, the tabloids often refer to her as "Lady Moirai".

* BrattyHalfPint: He tries to flirt with the MC multiple times and weirds her out. It’s soon apparent that he doesn’t have bad intentions, but his sheltered background means he often acts without considering how it may look like from another viewpoint.
* ButtMonkey: Lars finds joy in messing around with Clyde during ''Azure Summer'', one part because [[PrecociousCrush Clyde is competing for the MC’s affection]] and Lars [[SeriousBusiness takes it seriously]].
* {{Determinator}}: In an Illustra story, he’s seen practicing tennis to the point it puts a strain on his body and his coach has to convince him to stop, all because he believes he has to work hard to impress his crush.

* AlwaysIdenticalTwins: They use the same model, and can only be distinguished by their stance on hotpot. Dominic is overjoyed when the MC doesn’t mistake him for Gerald.
* BerserkButton: The twins don’t like to be mistaken as the other one, as they’re very different otherwise.
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: There apparently isn’t anything in Gerald’s head except hotpot.
* DoesNotLikeSpam: Dominic hates hot pot with a passion and even founds a club against hot pot. Though it’s more because he’s fed up with Gerald’s obsession than actual dislike for the dish.
* {{Guyliner}}: As Gym Guy points out, Gerald wears purple eyeliner to complement his style. It can be assumed that Dominic also wears them as they use the same sprite.

The protagonist’s mother, who raised her alone in her memory and died three years ago after leaving her in Cael’s care. Her true identity is a Traveler and a Prefect from the Infinite Empire, whose original goal was to destroy Earth for the sake of her own world.
----
* TheAce: Cael describes her as one of the most powerful individuals in their civilization, and she was slowly but surely ensuring the destruction of Earth, a world of greater scale than Godheim, if not for her encounter with the MC’s father.
* ActionMom: Her murder of her subordinate was not only to [[CrusadingWidow avenge her husband]], but also to protect her daughter and keep her existence from her world’s awareness.
* BelatedLoveEpiphany: She only understood what love was when she found out her husband died protecting their daughter and felt that "her heart had been torn in two".
* BeneathSuspicion: She was careful to keep herself this way by assuming the role of an average person and choosing a quiet town to settle down in, where she would livestream and broadcast her own TV program on local channels to make the problem too small to notice until it was too late. Each of her broadcast never went on too long, and she disappeared before she got too famous. Then she stayed anonymous when spreading her BrownNote recordings and used her unearthly powers to prevent anyone from tracing their source.
* BeautifulSingingVoice: Although she never showed her face on her broadcast, her mellifluous voice garnered a lot of support for her programs, and her singing alone was widespread globally even though no one knew it was her.
* BrownNote: Her voice contained the power of emotional manipulation. Initially, she used livestream and broadcasting as a medium for her power, making those who listened to her program anxious and irritable. After her supposed withdrawal from the public sphere, she continued to make anonymous recordings of her singing and snippets of audio programs that would be uploaded onto the internet, which were dubbed in over a hundred languages, even including those of indigenous tribes, and put out on every frequency. As such, her influence was spread to an unimaginable degree, and untold numbers of people were riddled with crippling anxiety, psychiatric hospitals were overflowing, and violent crime was skyrocketing, steadily bringing Earth to ruin by days.
* TheChessmaster: Her plan for conquering Earth hinged on the brainwashing power of her emotional manipulation. Via her BrownNote power, she induced mental disorders and inclination to crime in society while staying BeneathSuspicion, and everyone chalked it all up to the pressures of modern society.
* CrusadingWidow: She killed her subordinate who murdered her husband after her BelatedLoveEpiphany instilled her with uncontrollable grief and rage.
* DeceasedParentsAreTheBest: Her daughter loves her dearly and fell into a long depression when she died.
* DimensionalTraveler: She was also a Traveler like her daughter and Cael.
* FaustianRebellion: After her civilization sent people to kill her husband, she decided to rebel against them by putting up a PerceptionFilter to prevent them being able to detect Earth, cutting off her connection to them at the cost of her life, and passing down all of her power and knowledge to Cael - her colleague in Project Shelter.
* FlowerMotif: The blue hyacinth is her favorite flower, and a field of such flowers was where she met the MC’s father in the first place. They're one of the oldest known flowers in existence, and they are often used as a symbol of life, paralleling how she gave her daughter a new life by giving up her own. Knowing that, Cael decided to bury her among a hyacinth field.
* GlamorousSingleMother: In the MC’s memory, her mother was a single mom after her father passed away when she was three, but she still managed to be both a loving, attentive mother and a diligent worker with excellent work ethics without any difficulty. Being a godlike entity with peerless manipulation ability may help a lot.
* ILoveYouBecauseICantControlYou: Even though she didn’t realize it, she was attracted by the random doctor’s immunity to her brainwashing and got accustomed to his "love" after spending several years with him as husband and wife in the name of research, until she managed to develop "love" for her husband in return.
* LoveRedeems: Her ([[BelatedLoveEpiphany belated]]) love for her husband and daughter eventually turned her, TheChessmaster who didn’t understand humanity, against her civilization and mission to destroy Earth.
* MamaBear: In order to protect her child from being used by her pragmatic and cruel civilization, she enacted Project Shelter to GiveHerANormalLife and essentially betrayed her own world, threw away everything she had ever done in her life, and doomed herself to a slow and certain death.
--> ''My mother threw away her life and her future without a second thought.''\
''All so she could protect a single life, and allow it to grow up and live a normal happy life.''
* MissingMom: She died when the MC was in high school, which plunged her daughter into a depression.
* NoEyeInMagic: She couldn’t put the MC’s father under her complete control because he always averted his gaze whenever he thought their eye contact was too long to ''her'' liking. [[{{Downplayed}} That said]], it was his love for her that prevented him from succumbing to her power as a whole, since eye contact wasn’t her primary means of manipulation.
* PosthumousCharacter: After cutting off all contact with her civilization for Project Shelter, she died three years ago, and her story is entirely told by Cael.
* UnnamedParent: Despite her importance, her name is never disclosed.
* WalkingSpoiler: Everything about her is relevant to the MC’s past, as well Cael’s identity and motive.
* WhatIsThisThingYouCallLove: The people of her civilization had little to no concept of "love", and she was no exception. Even when she got married and had a child, she was still confused by how her husband managed to be immune to her brainwashing power and couldn’t recognize how she also had "love" in herself [[BelatedLoveEpiphany until it was too late]]. She then went on to explain her understanding of "love" to Cael, who to this day still can’t rationalize her sacrifice for it.
--> '''Cael:''' She said that love makes a person worry, feel pain, and lose their fearlessness... but she would gladly accept all of that in order to experience it herself.
--> '''Cael:''' This emotion was wonderful beyond compare, far greater than any she could use as a weapon to oppress others.

----
* AchievementsInIgnorance: He [[spoiler:bypassed his future wife’s brainwashing power]] simply by behaving like a typical love-struck man.
* DisappearedDad: As far as the MC knows, her father left no impression on her and was never present in her entire life, even though she was old enough to be aware of her own parents’ existence when he died.
* LoveAtFirstSight: He fell for the MC’s mother right in their first meeting in the hyacinth field, and persistently pursued her until she felt compelled to return the sentiments.
* HeroicSacrifice: He died [[spoiler:while protecting his daughter from his wife’s subordinate, who tried to get rid of "disturbances" to her mission.]]

----
* ActionMom: In her final moment, she gave up the queenly act and fought through an army of guards to reach Lars just so she could pressure him into letting Ayn live, knowing that he would prefer a defenseless child to a MasterSwordswoman.
* BlingBlingBang: While the imperial family viewed the Sword of Transcendence as only an OrnamentalWeapon, she actually used it to fight and was annoyed that a blade with such impeccably sharp edge was wasting away in the imperial family’s possession.
* BraidsOfAction: Depiction of her in her youth when she defended Ayn’s father from an assassin shows her with a braid.
* GirlinessUpgrade: After becoming the queen, she never picked up her sword again because it was "unbecoming" for her position. [[MamaBear Until her son’s survival was threatened that is.]]
* HeroicSuicide: She killed herself in front of Lars in exchange for her son’s survival, and Lars honored the request.
* MasterSwordsman: She was the strongest swordsman in Godheim of her time, and one of the only two people who could fight on par with [[spoiler:the Silver Knight.]] Ayn reveals that when she was young, she took down a giant bear with a long sword and defeated countless armored knights.
* RoyalsWhoActuallyDoSomething: In the past, she was one of the few individuals who were actually concerned about the threat the Glacial Butterflies posed.
* WillfullyWeak: She gave up on swordplay to embrace her role as the queen because her husband wanted her to, and refrained from fighting until the last moment.

[[folder:The Former Emperor]]

The former emperor of Godheim and Ayn’s father.
----
* AmazonChaser: He was not at all weirded out by Feina’s strength, and didn’t even take offense when she called him a coward for not using the Sword of Transcendence to fight against an assassin. In fact, he ''gifted'' her the sword on the spot as a recognition of her capability and continued to pursue Feina until she agreed to be his wife.
* CowardlyLion: He has been described as a coward on multiple occasions. He had neither the courage nor strength to face the Glacial Butterfly crisis, and didn’t allow his beloved wife to fight them or leave the Imperial City either out of fear that she would be endangered by leaving the Magi Tower’s protection, even though she was more than a [[MasterSwordsman capable warrior]]. However, his bravery shone through the dignity he displayed during his imprisonment: not once did he struggle when his blood was taken every day, and he managed to commit suicide [[TogetherInDeath out of his love for his wife]] right under the Magi Tower’s strict supervision.
* DrivenToSuicide: After hearing about Queen Feina’s HeroicSuicide, the former emperor found a means to kill himself and be TogetherInDeath with his wife.
* InnocentlyInsensitive: Since he didn’t perceive the Glacial Butterflies as a threat and thought that Silversnow was simply undergoing a long winter, he didn’t send reinforcements and instead invited Philip and his family to the Imperial City to spend their winter in a warmer place, which Philip perceived as an act of hedonism.
* NoNameGiven: Ayn calls him either "the former emperor" or "the crown prince", never his name.
* OrnamentalWeapon: He used to treat the Sword of Transcendence as a purely decorative royal heirloom since he thought its blade was too thin for battle, hence why he didn’t draw it when facing an assassin. Feina had to give him a wake-up call that what he owned was a [[BlingBlingBang perfectly functional saber of great quality]].
* ParentsAsPeople: He was by no means an efficient ruler, to the point both Ayn and Lars described him as a naive, short-sighted coward and the latter even overthrew him, but he tried his best as a family man who gave Ayn a peaceful childhood and tried to cheer Lars up when he thought the boy was simply upset after losing his family.
* ReportsOfMyDeathWereGreatlyExaggerated: When Lars took over the throne, he didn’t actually kill the former emperor like he had everyone believe, but kept the latter imprisoned in secret in the Magi Tower for Clarence to use his blood for creating the Noventrate.
* RoyaltySuperpower: His [[BloodMagic blood]] is a catalyst to create mages.

* InItsHourOfNeed: He’s said to have stayed in Silversnow in its last days and fought against the invading Glacial Butterflies until his final breath.
* LikeFatherLikeSon: He and Lars are both very proactive in the war against Glacial Butterflies and spends their life protecting Godheim, even if it will cost them everything they have such as their honor, glory, and their own survival.
* OnlyFriend: He was the only person Clarence ever regarded as a friend after he became the Archmage.

Alkaid’s younger sister, an accomplished mage on her own who was sacrificed to summon the MC from another world.
----
* TheAce: Ehlonna was a member of the Noventrate - the strongest mages of the Magi Tower, and was hailed as "Saint Ehlonna" for her accomplishments and inventions.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: She and her brother were orphans who lived in the slums, and soon struck up a companionship with Zack. After Alkaid was robbed of the money Zack gave him in order for him to seek apprenticeship and thus a better future for the three of them, he was too ashamed to face Zack and took Ehlonna to ran away from their shared hovel. They were almost frozen to death on the street when they were founded by Clarence, who initially took only Ehlonna with him until he sensed intense desire and potential from Alkaid. And even under Clarence’s wings, they were still no more than weapons to fight the Glacial Butterflies.
* FaceDeathWithDignity: She accepted her role as a HumanSacrifice with no hard feelings and Alkaid recalls that she smiled even in the face of death.
* FlingALightIntoTheFuture: She willingly let herself be sacrificed in hope that her death will put an end to Godheim’s suffering, and left behind the Diadem which can supposedly turn people's fates around and bring them hope for her brother
* GadgeteerGenius: On the magical variety. Her two known creations are the diadem and the water mirror, both possess the potential to transcend worlds.
* HumanSacrifice: She was sacrificed alongside Naledi in order to bring the MC to Godheim. In her case though, she was willing to die.
* PosthumousCharacter: She died when the MC was summoned to Godheim, and from then on she only appears in flashbacks.
* ProneToTears: Ever since she was little, she's been described as an overly sensitive person prone to crying at the slightest provocation. This is why Alkaid finds himself unable to stop Ehlonna from sacrificing herself: although faced with death, she shed no tears and instead was [[FaceDeathWithDignity smiling]], which means she fully welcomed her demise [[HeroicSacrifice in order to bring Godheim hope]].
* SmallRoleBigImpact: Although she died early on, she sowed the seeds of hope that would help the MC save Godheim.
* SupernaturalGoldEyes: Unlike her brother, she has gold eyes which denotes her immese magical ability. While Naledi’s eyes are also gold, Ehlonna’s are of a much paler shade and make her seem more unearthly in comparison.
* TooGoodForThisSinfulEarth: Ehlonna is revered as a saint and has been shown to be nothing but kind and compassionate, but she (and her counterpart) is one of the first casualties in the game.

----
* AttemptedHomewrecker: Although the MC is Lars’ empress and having a mutual relationship with Alkaid, Asmoran is still determined to seduce and "own" her out of pure lust.
* BondCreature: The small snake wrapped around his fingertip is manifestation of his magic.
* ButtMonkey: When he isn’t being a threat, he is treated as this by the narrative, which is most evident in ''Seasonal Hunt''.
* HandsomeLech: He’s a sexual harasser, but still a LongHairedPrettyBoy who has a way with words.
* HateSink: No amount of [[LongHairedPrettyBoy good looks]] can make him more likable, considering how he sexually harassed the MC and almost forced Alkaid into assaulting her.
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: In Clarence’s route, Asmoran declares that since the Magi Tower is a place where mages can indulge fully in their desires, in his case lust, he can have his way with the MC however he wants and no one would stop him, not even Clarence, so long as he has the strength to do so. Once the MC proves herself to be superior in power and proclaims that her desire is to beat him shitless, Clarence just stands there and lets her punch him into unconsciousness, completely ignoring his plea for help because she’s following the same rule as him.
* KarmaHoudini: Despite his horrendous actions being on full display, Asmoran gets no real punishment in Alkaid’s route. He may be beaten and defeated by the MC and Asmoran on separate occasions, but in the end he still gets to be among the mages who die honorably for the survival of Godheim’s people with his crimes never recorded. [[KarmaHoudiniWarranty That said…]]
* KarmaHoudiniWarranty: In Clarence’s route, he [[HoistByHisOwnPetard gets the table turned on him]] and the MC beats him shitless for what he committed both in this route and Alkaid’s route, which she still remembers thanks to RippleEffectProofMemory.
* OhCrap: He loses his nonchalance when he senses that Alkaid is going to use his full capability to stop Asmoran and his fellow mages from pursuing the MC, [[spoiler:even with the risk of turning into a Glacial Butterfly.]]
* MajorInjuryUnderreaction: He seems more excited than bothered when the MC ''plunges a knife into his back''. The MC and Alkaid are understandably disgusted by his reaction.
--> ''This man is utterly depraved. Even at death's door, his mind is preoccupied only with what gives him thrill. Even the prospect of death doesn't dissuade him from his pursuit.''
* ManipulativeBastard: He coerced a maid into giving the MC the cursed tray so that she would fall for his spell, and when Alkaid got cursed in her place, Asmoran still takes it as a chance to remove Alkaid’s protection from the MC and make her vulnerable to his advances.
* MeaningfulName: His name is similar to {{Asmodeus}}, the demon of lust, and he also has ThePowerOfLust.
* PerpetualSmiler: He’s described as always smiling, except when the situation is truly dire.
* ThePowerOfLust: Asmoran’s power revolves around inducing lust in others and taking advantage of that to manipulate their behaviors.
* RapeByProxy: When his attempt to curse the MC failed and Alkaid got cursed in her place, Asmoran incites Alkaid to make his advances on her so that it will break both of them and he can get all that he wants. Thankfully Alkaid is AboveTheInfluence.
* SeriousBusiness: There was an entire meeting regarding what to name his pet snake.
* SnakesAreSinister: He has an evident snake motif and carries a BondCreature in the form of a snake around.

* BadassAdorable: She’s only a child, but also among the strongest mages in Godheim.
* BigEater: A whole banquet used to be her daily breakfast, though she now has to cut down on her food intake to leave room for the Glacial Butterflies.
* ChildrenAreInnocent: She is oblivious to Clarence’s scheme and the severity of her missions, so she only seems preoccupied with the concept of an ostensibly unlimited buffet and can’t understand why Clarence apologizes to her before her SuicideMission. She also genuinely believes that what her father fed her were merely "hard bread" and not ''literal rocks'' because of her unique power.

* {{Blackmail}}: In Ayn’s route, she kills a noble who [[HeKnowsTooMuch accidentally found out that the MC has power]] to make the MC indebted to her, thus pressure her into abiding her request.

* LadyOfBlackMagic: She is a mage of considerable power.

* HeelFaceTurn: He initially tried to assassinate Alkaid, but after learning about Alkaid’s and Ehlonna’s life as imperial mages, he realized that he was never abandoned like he believed and helps the MC and Alkaid when they’re at their lowest.

* StreetUrchin: He used to live on the street with Alkaid and Ehlonna. Not that he has a better life now.

----
* ButtMonkey: He often gets scolded by Anderson for not knowing courtesy or boundaries when talking to the MC, the girlfriend of his boss.
* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: Even though he mainly serves as a ButtMonkey and comedic relief for Ayn’s route, Lee is still a member of the Inquisitors. When Susie is busy [[EvilGloating gloating]] to the MC, he takes the chance to stab her from behind, killing her immediately.

* GoodSamaritan: She founded the NEOS Association out of the pure desire to protect those who don’t deserve to be squandered in this unfair battle royale.
* HeavySleeper: She falls into deep sleep as soon as the sun rises and only wakes up at dusk, though not by choice.

* NiceGirl: She’s nice and sincere to anyone around her, and accepts to shift the blame on herself when told that she will only hold the MC back.
* WhatYouAreInTheDark: As one of the few people who know Clarence and the MC’s hiding spot, she chooses to tell them the situation and helps them escape instead of betraying them for their soul stones while everyone else are out for their blood thanks to the Master of Eden’s command.

A rookie NEOS who has great admiration for Clarence. He only wants to have a normal life by entering Eden, but reality is crueler than he expected.
----
* AutomaticCrossbows: His choice of weapon in combat.
* ButtMonkey: In his debut, he was about to have his bracelet broken by Angelica. In Ayn’s route, other NEOS broke his leg to use him as a bait to lure the MC in their trap, and when it failed, they abandon him. In his terror, he flees from the MC straight into Alkaid’s fog…and the next time we meet him, [[spoiler:he has turned into one of the Lost.]]
* EtTuBrute: [[spoiler:He snitched the location of Clarence and the MC’s hideout to the Order, causing Lin to be captured and used as a hostage to lure them out.]]
* HeroWorshipper: He admits to Clarence that he’s someone he really worships, and is clearly overjoyed to be rescued by Clarence.
* IJustWantToBeNormal: Everything Sean ever wants from Eden is a normal life without the constant fighting and poor living conditions like in the desert. Unfortunately, Eden will give him anything but that.
* IneffectualSympatheticVillain: [[spoiler:He did betray Lin and the MC to the Order in his desperation to live, but he’s too weak and cowardly to admit that to their face. 772* GreenEyedMonster: In his despair in Ayn’s route, he angrily questions the MC why the Chief of the Order chose her and gave her special treatment.
* RewardedAsATraitorDeserves: [[spoiler:Ayn mercilessly [[DoWithHimAsYouWill abandons Sean to the MC’s mercy]] once he sees him as a coward who can’t even admit his wrongdoing. 774* TearsOfFear: The horrific situation in Eden causes Sean to break down and cry often. In Ayn’s route, the MC was haunted by his tearful eyes when he looked back at her on his way to flee from her as he was too terrified and traumatized to listen to reasons, and it allows her to recognize him when [[spoiler:he has turned into one of the Lost.]]
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: [[spoiler:After the MC spares him, he keeps his word and disappears from her sight forever, making his fate ambiguous. The same also can be applied if she breaks his bracelet, albeit we do know he is banished from Eden into the desert.]]
* WoundedGazelleGambit: In Ayn’s route, he was deliberately injured by other NEOS to attract the MC’s attention and catch her off guard, giving them a chance to ambush her.

* AngerBornOfWorry: He becomes indignant towards the MC after Ayn made a contract with her which O’Connor thinks is nothing but disadvantageous for his Chief.
* ButtMonkey: Ayn seems to pick on him to most.
* TheGadfly: He teases Ayn and the MC’s relationship whenever he can as if Ayn wouldn’t burn his hair for it.
* LongHairedPrettyBoy: Curiously, despite living in a post-apocalyptic world, O’Connor still keeps his long hair and takes care of it seriously. Unfortunately for him, Ayn likes to burn his hair as a "punishment".
* NumberTwo: He’s second to Ayn in the organization, though the level of respect he receives from another members goes nowhere close to Ayn’s.
* RealMenWearPink: He loves to read romance novels and his stacks tend to be blamed for the Order’s ShipperOnDeck behaviors.

* BloodKnight: Her first appearance shows her gleefully hunting down newcomers and breaking their bracelets to banish them from Eden.
* DefrostingIceQueen: She’s initially cold and looks down on the MC, but their relationship warms up after several interactions where the MC proves herself to be both capable and pleasantly amusing. 824Clarence’s mentor and the strongest NEOS in the desert, titled "Liore the Shark".
----
* CameBackWrong: Alkaid revives her in Clarence’s route in order to fight her student and break him. At this point, she’s nothing more than a mindless weapon that needs to be put down.
* DyingAsYourself: In her final moments, she suddenly recognized Clarence and dropped her blade when he shot her, allowing him to kill her.
* MentorOccupationalHazard: Once her mind was thoroughly destroyed, Liore had forgotten everything and became one of the Lost that roams the desert. One day, when Clarence approached and merely observed her fighting other NEOS, she attacked him out of instinct and he was forced to do a MutualKill because she was simply too strong, but she recognized him in her last moment and let him kill her.
* TheNoseKnows: She’s mentioned to have an acute sense of smell, befitting her title as "the Shark". Going insane only made her senses sharper, and she could even detect Clarence who was a hundred meters away from the battle at the time and approached him.
* SinkOrSwimMentor: She taught Clarence that he could only survive by proving his worth, and used him as a bait for Sandswimmers.

* LastOfHisKind: He’s the last known surviving Seafarer, as most of them [[spoiler:were mutated into the Lost.]]
* SuperSwimmingSkills: As a Seafarer, he’s more familiar with water than land and can easily navigated the MC through a lake filled with Lost Ones while carrying an unconscious Lars on his back, with the MC even describing his movements as "slicing through the water with remarkable agility".
* WhatYouAreInTheDark: He hesitated before saving the MC and Lars even though he saw how they were overrun by the Lost since the beginning, because [[spoiler:the water-dwelling Lost Ones were once his family and he couldn’t bring himself to attack them.]]

* EmotionlessGirl: Since she’s an android, she lacks emotion. When she does express emotions, [[FamilialBodySnatcher it’s the MC taking over her.]]
* FingerFirearms: Her fingers can transform into guns.
* RobotGirl: She looks just like the MC and can easily pass for a human.

----
* HisNameReallyIsBarkeep: She was meant to have a human name, but Lars decided to name her "Navigator" instead for her role as the one who would guide the lost and weary on their way.
* IChooseToStay: She persistently refuses Lars’ offer to leave New Paradise with him, even when she willingly lets him go. Being an AI, she can’t exactly leave.
* InterfaceWithAFamiliarFace: As she was intentionally designed to have an avatar that Lars would like, she has the same appearance as the MC and would have share her name if Lars didn’t intervene, likely because he didn’t want to view her as the MC’s ReplacementGoldfish.
* MagicalGuide: Her role in New Paradise.
* NoSell: In New Paradise, the pufferfish ignores her entirely while viciously attacking Lars, who is on the same boat as her. It’s because she’s an AI.
* SpaceshipGirl: She’s the AI for the Shipborne System with a humanoid avatar and natural speech patterns for comfort’s sake.
* TheSpock: Being an AI, she acts on logical calculations and doesn’t understand Lars’ spontaneous behaviors nor his yearning for the world beyond New Paradise.
* VirtualSidekick: She accompanies Lars on his expeditions and they often banter back and forth regarding Lars’ aversion to the New Paradise program.

----
* ElderlyImmortal: He is TheMaker of countless planets and has been alive for at least several centuries, but doesn’t retain his youth.
* GodIsNeutral: His code of conduct as a planet cultivator is that he will not intertere with the results of his experiments, no matter what happened and would happen. Even when every fragile new world being cultivated had the potential to grow into a dangerous calamity that could threaten the very existence of the White City, he couldn’t bring himself to destroy any of them.
* TheHermit: He never left his Garden, for the world outside reminded him so vividly that he was the source that would bring about the upcoming fall of the White City.
* TheMaker: He cultivated planets in his garden and released them into the universe so that they could develop into worlds of spiritual and civilizational perfection...or the opposite of that. As it turns out, he was also the one who created the Infinite Empire.
* MyGreatestFailure: He blames himself for [[LoveMakesYouEvil how Darya turned out]] and the fact that the White City would be destroyed by his own creations.
* WellIntentionedExtremist: He initiated the mass EmotionSuppression so that the White City remained untainted by negative emotions and every Traveler would be happy when thinking about their voyage. In the process, the White City became a FalseUtopia that was eventually brought down by EmotionBomb.
* YouRemindMeOfX: The MC reminds him of his daughter Darya, especially when she looks at him the same way and asks him the same questions as Darya did.

An exceedingly powerful Traveler who could create worlds and give birth to life, but fell in love with an ordinary man. She disappeared years ago, but suddenly returned one day, bringing disaster with her to the White City.
----
* ArtReflectsPersonality: The two paintings she made before meeting and after being separated from her lover are described as "two completely opposed extremes". According to the MC, the former was painted in a serene and self-controlled way, while the latter expresses a deeply passionate side to reflect her grief.
* BrokenAce: She’s described as one of the best Travelers in the White City’s history and also gifted in arts and [[TheMaker cultivating planets]], but her love for a doomed mortal man [[LoveMakesYouEvil drove her evil]] ''and'' insane. She then became the destructor of her own home world.
* EmotionBomb: She took all the "cleansed" negative emotions of the Travelers when they enter the White City and spread them all over the city, driving everyone into despair.
* HaveYouSeenMyGod: She cultivated a replica of her lover’s world in hope of bringing him back, but after realizing that the man she revived wasn’t actually him, she fell into despair and abandoned that world as soon as she entered it.
* LoveMakesYouEvil: The death of her lover and the destruction of his world brought her despair, and she disregarded everything to recreate his world in hope that it would revive him. She failed however and went insane, which caused her to bring upon the White City’s destruction.
* MirrorCharacter: Her story mirrors the MC’s mother’s almost perfectly: they’re both Travelers and TheAce of their civilization, but fell for a mortal man that would be beneath them otherwise and went berserk against their own civilization because their lover was dead.
* MysticalWhiteHair: She has striking white hair, which the MC compares to Cael’s, and was as powerful as a PhysicalGod.
* ResurrectedRomance: What she hoped for when trying to resurrect her dead lover. [[AvertedTrope It didn’t happen.]]
* SeeksAnothersResurrection: Heartbroken by her lover’s death, she stole a formula for creating a planet and fled to the depths of the universe to secretly recreate his world and him in turn, but what she received was merely a copy of him. She then went berserk and returned to the White City to demand for the power to go back in time.

The sentient monitor attached to Cael’s body to supervise his emotions and actions, usually appears as a ball of light. However, he has more interest in taking in the beauty of Earth than actually doing his job.
----
* TheBard: Before becoming the Sage, he was a gifted poet who specialized in writing love poems.
* ConnectedAllAlong: The Sage is actually the consciousness of the copy of Darya’s lover, whose physical body was destroyed when the Infinite Empire found no use in his world and whose mind was assimilated into the Center.
* EnergyBeings: He appears as ball of light that floats around freely.
* FlowerMotif: Forget-me-nots, which was planted in his front yard and became his only companion when he was alive and abandoned by his creator. To reflect his world’s approaching demise caused by the Infinite Empire, the forget-me-nots also withered and died in the relentless winter.
* TheGadfly: Once he arrived at Earth, he drops his former solemn demeanor and becomes quite unserious for a component of TheEmpire’s [[HiveMind Center]] by acting as dramatic as a ball of light can and being nosy about the MC and Cael’s romance. He even teases Cael that had he retained his youthful charm, he could steal the MC’s affection from him.
* IllPretendIDidntHearThat: He assures Cael and the MC that his report about them to the Infinite Empire will simply say that he found nothing.
* NoNameGiven: We never learn what his name was, and now he’s only referred to as the Sage.
* TokenGoodTeammate: Although working for the Infinite Empire, he does not care about their cause and protects the MC and Cael from their surveillance.
