On the other hand though the only friends Rei seems to have that are around her own age are the other male Dynamen. She was the only female member of the team and unlike the previous teams the Dynaman didn't have female agents or supporting friends for Rei to hang out with off duty like Peggy Akira and Miki did. So she ends up living with and spending most of her time associating with a bunch of guys and doesn't seem to mind extensively exercising with or sleeping in the same room as them. And said guys laugh at the idea of her becoming someone's wife because she's an "unmarriagable tomboy" and don't seem particularly attracted to her. Most of the show descriptions of this time (which can come off as somewhat dated in the current era) also describe her to have a "Masculine heart"
