!!!Portrayed By: Jerma985

Famous streamer WebVideo/Jerma985, who has just recently moved into his new home in Dollhouse Lane.
----
* BringMyBrownPants: While being attacked by a bear, his already concerningly-high Bathroom stat drops to 0.
* CosmicPlaything: Literally. While he has some autonomy, any time the chat takes a vote, he is automatically compelled to do it. Oftentimes he will be in the middle of doing something else, only for a Chat Vote to send him involuntarily across the room to do another chosen activity. And then sometimes the Chat will actively prevent him from doing something, such as sleeping or going to the bathroom when he really needs to.
* DespairEventHorizon: Whenever chat neglects his stats or forces them to remain in the red, he becomes miserable, in natural The Sims fashion. He's probably at his worst after the bear attack.
* HearingVoices: This is how Jerma explains to his neighbors why his actions are determined by polls and how the Chat holds domain over him.
* InelegantBlubbering: Jerma kicks into this frequently when his Fun bar gets too low.
* ReluctantFanserviceGirl: Invoked. Jerma knows that his Day 2 outfit (shorts, undershirt, gloves and sneakers) leave his arms exposed, and he doesn't want to give the chat the satisfaction of seeing his armpits. He also briefly worries about his nipples showing through his shirt on Day 1.
* StepfordSmiler: As horrible as his life eventually becomes, Jerma is all smiles (or at the very least more chipper) when streaming. He even jokes about the bear attack and losing his new TV even though both emotionally affected him.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Given the command to eat, Jerma's go-to will usually be bread. It's not really because he likes it, but more because it's easy to prepare. For at least a few days he even chews on the same slice of bread. By Day 3 it seems it's switched to Pecan Sandies, which the real life Jerma notably dislikes.
* UnexpectedInheritance: Early in Day 1, Jerma receives a letter stating that his estranged Uncle Ted has died and left him a measly $750 while his mother got the rest of his money (not that he minds, since money is money). Later on, when Ted dies for real, Jerma receives a comparatively larger amount of $2000. If you want to get real technical, Jerma also ended up inheriting Ted's furniture, since the man admitted that a lot of the stuff currently in Jerma's house looks like (is) his own.
* WhatExactlyIsHisJob: Whenever he's set to go to work, it's always offscreen. We're not privy to all of the details of the job at first, but only that he works in an office. On Day 2, he admits that he's still a streamer, but none of the things he says about his office has to do with streaming.

The mysterious, omniscient presence which oversees Jeremy's everyday life and takes care of him, or...well, is supposed to, at least. Its motivations are unknown, but it apparently determines its actions based on a form of voting system, indicating a HiveMind intelligence of some sort.
----
* BlueAndOrangeMorality: Good luck figuring out the Chat's motivations. Much of the time, it seems compelled in just making Jerma suffer, but other times it will genuinely try to help him. The most egregious example would be when the Chat managed to evict Jerma from his home--only to abuse the tenant who took over because he wasn't Jerma.
* DisproportionateRetribution: It often dishes these out whenever Jerma refuses to do something (or even disapproves of its choice). For example, one of the first things Jerma does is remove a soda drinking hat that the Chat chose for him. Chat's response? Starve him and refuse to let him use the restroom.
* HiveMind: Its use of a voting system to determine Jerma's actions indicates this. While many of the votes are unanimous, there are points when the voting decisions are contentious.
* Jerkass: It can be...mean-spirited at times, such as when it refused to let Jerma eat or go to the bathroom after he removed the hat they liked, and when they voted to evict Jerma from his own home...and then proceeded to abuse the person who lived in the house after him.

!Neighbors

!!!Portrayed By: Ludwig Ahgren
* AmbiguousGenderIdentity: Amelia is always referred to with they/them pronouns, and they don't say if they have a gender preference. Later on Amelia is canonized as non-binary, but .
* AscendedExtra: Amelia was just a one-off character when first introduced. Fan response to them was so positive that they kept them in for the rest of the show.
* DisproportionateRetribution: Getting stood up on a planned date is pretty bad, sure, and not being called on for your actual services is also pretty annoying, but none of that really warrants --especially since they weren't even dating. Even they realize that was a pretty overblown reaction.
* WomanScorned: Amelia was initially neutral on Jerma, if not thinking he was kind of weird, but they didn't truly turn on him until [[spoiler:the [=WhooHoo=] incident]]. After that, Amelia makes a point to be cold, rude, and outright spiteful to Jerma, culminating in .

!!!Portrayed By:

----
* CastingGag: Even in a project like this, Kitboga displays some of his trademarked experience with phone scams through Edna, with her on the phone with someone trying to obtain her social security number (and implied to already be familiar with the guy on the phone through similar scams).
* ScatterbrainedSenior: Edna isn't quite all there mentally. Her welcome basket is one that carried one of her relatives as a baby, she's almost insistent on taking Uncle Ted's spoons, and she's regularly vulnerable to phone call scams.
* SupremeChef: Somehow manages to bake a perfect batch of Pecan Sandies (complete with plastic wrapping) just by getting Jerma to chuck vaguely-measured proportions of water and flour into the oven (and not a single pecan).
* UncertainDoom: During a party, Jerma comes across Death and a clown talking about Edna, in which Death claims Edna's not long for this world but refuses to elaborate. Edna's then last seen swimming in the pool, the same pool Jerma drowned in earlier.

!!!Portrayed By: Ludwig Ahgren
* IgnoredEpiphany: When asked to 'Think about Life', Ludwig admits that he didn't need to kick out Jerma and could have allowed him to stay in the house as long as he paid rent--still pretty selfish, but at least he's not homeless. He also admits that pursuing the other house was careless, since he now has two homes to maintain. However, he shrugs, curses Jerma, and is on his way.
* InAnotherMansShoes: Unlike the rest of the neighbors, Ludwig finally has the 'honor' of . Suddenly, he could understand some of the craziness of , just like .

!!!Portrayed By:
* PoliceAreUseless: Andrews can barely be called a competent cop. He allows criminals into Jerma's home, is easily fooled by burglars and scammers, and outright trespasses without a warrant to steal some booze and watch TV. The only time he's properly doing his job is when .

----
* TheAlcoholic: Pretty much the first thing they do when they enter the Dollhouse is raid Jerma's fridge for beer. One of them chugs a whole beer in what Jerma estimates to be about five seconds.
-->"-$20 for clown beer"
* SuddenlyVoiced: The clowns don’t speak during most of their appearances, but Mica does on the final day.

!!!Portrayed By: MiltonTPike1
* DontFearTheReaper: Grim is a pretty amiable guy, all things considered. When he picks up Uncle Ted, the former at first gently tells him he's dead and then plays along as he controls Ted to leave the mortal plane. He's also patient enough to let Jerma flirt with [[spoiler:and [=WhooHoo=]]] him, even offering to take the lead.

* KarmaHoudini: At first, her announcing that she got most of Uncle Ted's money sounds like the logical conclusion after his unfortunate passing, but then the actual Ted shows up and reveals that he had all his furniture and money ripped away from him. Jerma inadvertently sending him to be with the Grim Reaper allowed what remained of Ted's estate to go to her, implying that the whole thing was a setup.
