A list of the characters that appear in ''Fanfic/FateMagnusBellum''. Spoiler warning for those who haven't read ''Literature/FateApocrypha'' and ''[[Anime/FatePrototype Fate/Prototype: Fragments of Sky Silver]]'', as well as the associated Fate entries mentioned on the main page. Certain spoilers up until the story shifts into ACT-2 shall be left unmarked as well.
----
!The Alliance
A group formed through the partnership of the Red and Black Factions of the Great Holy Grail War. It is led by Jeanne d'Arc, the Ruler-Class Servant summoned by the Holy Grail, together with Waver Velvet El-Melloi II and Fiore Forvedge Yggdmillenia.
----
[[folder:Ruler]]
!!Jeanne d'Arc
A Saint who fought against the English and their allies during the Hundred Years War and was burned at the stake. She is a Servant summoned by the Grail to oversee the Holy Grail War and summons Saber in order to help her with said task.
----
* BadassPacifist: Being a standard-bearer, she's never fought much personally. Still doesn't stop her from keeping up with other Servants in combat, even against someone as powerful as Lancelot.
* BarrierWarrior: Like canon, her Noble Phantasm ''Luminosité Éternelle'' creates a magical barrier.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: She's a tender-hearted young woman who cares for everyone. However, she's still a Servant and an excellent fighter who won't hesitate to go to war with those who harm the innocent.
* BigGood: Is this by default of being the Ruler-Class of the Grail War, mediating the conflict between factions. She also serves this role together with Waver and Fiore once the Alliance is formed.
* BraidsOfAction: Her long blonde hair is tied into a long braid.
* ClingyJealousGirl: Slowly develops this attitude towards Arthur, albeit subdued.
* {{Deuteragonist}}: The character with the most focus after Arthur.
* GrandTheftMe: She possesses a human girl named Laeticia to manifest in the world [[spoiler:because the previous Ruler is still around]]. Like in canon, Laeticia granted her permission to do so, making it a heroic example of this trope.
* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold: Has blonde hair and is very kind.
* JeanneDArchetype: Goes without saying after all since she's ''the'' original Jeanne d'Arc.
* LadyAndKnight: Her dynamic with Arthur has shades of this since she summoned him to serve as her protector and he is the [[KnightInShiningArmour King of Knights]].
* NiceGirl: Very humble and kind.
* RedBaron: The Maid of Orleans.
* SecretKeeper: She hides Rogue Berserker's true identity (Lancelot) from Arthur due to not knowing how he'd react. He later finds out the truth in ACT-3.
* SuperiorSuccessor: On two levels. Arthur tells her that her kindness and loving nature to everyone makes her a far better Master than Manaka was, and she makes for a better Ruler than Shirou who manipulated and abused the rules of the Holy Grail War to attain his desire for a world free of evil.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Saber of Ruler]]
!!Arthur Pendragon
The legendary king of Camelot who was summoned by Ruler to aid her during the Holy Grail War. He was a participant in a previous Holy Grail War under his former Master, Manaka.
----
* BlowYouAway: ''Excalibur'' allows him to manipulate wind to create powerful slashes of air to either push back or cut through his opponents.
* BodyguardingABadass: As Jeanne is a Ruler Servant who will not seek the Grail, Arthur's main job is to serve as her bodyguard rather then fight enemy Servants. But as Reines points out to him, Jeanne is a powerful Servant in her own right and perfectly capable of defending herself from other Servants.
* BrokenAce: Arthur is unquestionably one of the greatest warriors in history and myth, and one of the strongest Servants in the current Grail War, but he's also plagued by his past failures such as the fall of Camelot, his failings as a father to Mordred, the [[spoiler:death of his son Lucius]], and killing his previous Master in the Third Holy Grail War. Much of his CharacterDevelopment involves him coming to terms with his past mistakes.
* BrokenPedestal: To Mordred. She once idolized Arthur more than anyone else, but his cold rejection of her drove Mordred to become a rebel. [[spoiler:It eventually turns into a RebuiltPedestal as both are able to mend their relationship by Chapter 26]].
* CharacterDevelopment: He eventually comes to terms with Camelot's fall and his failures, and accepts that he did his best.
* CoolSword: ''Excalibur'' as always.
* DeathSeeker: Discussed. He says that had Jeanne told him the truth about Rogue-Berserker's identity at the time he was summoned, he likely would have allowed Lancelot to kill him out of guilt.
* FreudianExcuseIsNoExcuse: Self-acknowledged and inflicted. His cold and downright cruel rejection of Mordred was because at that point, [[spoiler:his son, Lucius, died of illness and he was grieving at the time]], but he admits that none of that matters and nothing justifies how he treated her that day.
* TheGadfly: Towards Jeanne. Merlin must have rubbed off on him.
* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold: Similar to his current Master, he has blonde hair and is a chivalrous, noble hero befitting the title of "King of Knights".
* HeroProtagonist: The overall main character of the story with Jeanne and Mordred coming behind him as the {{deuteragonist}} and {{tritagonist}} respectively.
* HeroicSelfDeprecation: For all his accomplishments as the King of Knights and one of the greatest warriors in history, he almost always finds a way to admonish himself for his failings and nullify his successes. Many characters (Iskandar, Jeanne, [[spoiler:Guinevere]], and Mordred) have called him out on how self-pitying he comes across and that he needs to let it go.
* HiddenDepths: He's actually a decent chef as discovered by Jeanne at the end of Chapter 3.
* KingIncognito: In the past, he'd sometimes sneak into villages and towns as a peasant for fun and to interact with people without the stigma of being king. This is actually how he and Mordred first met.
* KnightInShiningArmor: A quintessential example, being a chivalrous knight who protects others from harm and fights evil. He's even called the "King of Knights" for being the epitome of this trope.
* LockedOutOfTheLoop: He had no idea that the Rogue Faction's Berserker is Lancelot, and Jeanne refuses to tell him about it due to her uncertainty on how he'd react. He later starts to suspect his identity after his talk with [[spoiler:Guinevere]], and he fully learns the truth in Chapter 26.
* MasterSwordsman: He ''is'' King Arthur after all. He often fights and bests other warriors of equal or greater strength through pure swordsmanship alone, making him probably the best sword fighter in the Holy Grail War.
* MyGreatestFailure: The fall of Camelot as per canon. His inability to see through Manaka's insanity is another.
* NotQuiteDead: Sort of. It's revealed in ACT-1 that he didn't completely die after his battle with Mordred. He was taken to Avalon to heal, but while he died there, he also didn't and describes himself as an "incomplete Heroic Spirit" as a result.
* OlderThanTheyLook: Despite being Mordred's father, Kairi lampshades that he looks young enough to pass as her older brother. Jeanne speculates that this is a result of her summoning him in his physical prime, though Mordred having aged twice as fast as the average human also plays a role in this. He later reveals that how he looks now is how he appeared on his deathbed.
* TheLostLenore: Even after his death, he still could not get over his wife Guinevere, causing Jeanne to feel jealous.
* ParentsAsPeople: He's painfully aware of the fact he could have been a ''much'' better father to Mordred. [[spoiler:The fact that his other child, Lucius, had only recently died when she revealed her true identity to him mitigates his behavior a ''little'' bit. Arthur admits that what happened doesn't excuse his words to her that day.]]
* RedBaron: The King of Knights due to being considered the epitome of knightly chivalry.
* WorfHadTheFlu: Due to receiving an arm injury from Richard, Arthur did not participate in the search for Manaka nor assist Waver and his team in the latter half of ACT-2. He fully recovers by ACT-3.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Servants of Red/Black]]
!!Saber of Red: Mordred
The treacherous [[HistoricalGenderFlip "son"]] of King Arthur whose rebellion led to the fall of Camelot. She is the Servant of Kairi Shishigou.
----
* ArrogantKungFuGuy: She's a fine knight and a powerful warrior, but Arthur points out that she thinks too highly of her abilities, which leads to her underestimating her opponents and getting into trouble.
* BerserkButton:
** ''Anything'' to do with her father, whether it be his presence or people comparing her to him, will piss her off into a near frenzy.
** She's guaranteed to lash out at anyone if they call her a little girl.
* TheBerserker: It gets noted by the likes of Arthur and Gilgamesh that despite being a Saber, she fights more like a Berserker due to easily getting enveloped by her anger and lashing out at her enemies.
* CharacterDevelopment: Starts off quite antagonistic towards her father before she begins to gradually soften up thanks to interacting with him more and more. [[spoiler:It's eventually cemented by Chapters 26 and 27 where both more or less finally bury the hatchet]].
* DaddyIssues: Even more so than normal as her father is now present compared to canon. After seeing many visions of her past, Kairi muses that it's impossible to tell if she hates her father or cares about him. [[spoiler:She finally starts moving past this at the beginning of ACT-3]].
* RedBaron: The Knight of Treachery for her infamous betrayal of King Arthur.
* ReluctantFanserviceGirl: Played with. She's more annoyed by her revealing civilian attire than she is embarrassed, but she also has no shame when she's just in her under-armor, which is even more revealing. It's less that she dislikes how little it covers and more that she'd rather it be her choice to wear it or not.
* SamusIsAGirl: In her time as a knight, she disguised herself as a boy due to the stigma against the idea of women being knights. This is something she picked up on as a child, as she referred to herself as a boy when she was growing up.
* SmokingIsCool: Picks up the habit from her Master, much to Arthur's displeasure.
* {{Tritagonist}}: The third main character after both Arthur and Jeanne.
* UnskilledButStrong: She's immensely strong and her Noble Phantasms can cause serious damage (it's even noted that her ''Clarent Blood Arthur'' would have left [[NighInvulnerability Siegfried]] severely wounded had he not been given an added defense) and she can be quite clever in battle (such as throwing trees at Arash to distract him so she can get close to him), but she lacks any real skill with her sword. This becomes a notable problem when she fights more masterful swordsmen like Siegfried and Arthur or more skilled fighters like Chiron and Arash.
* WellDoneSonGuy: In spite of her boasting, she ''really'' wants her father to acknowledge her as a worthy successor and is left speechless when he does that without any prompting during the banquet between the Red and Black Factions.
* TheWorfEffect: She is an incredibly powerful Servant, but she also tends to be the go-to punching bag to showcase the overall power of another Servant, such as Lancelot, Siegfried, Chiron, Shirou, and Arash.
* YoungerThanTheyLook: Due to being a Homunculus, she aged twice as fast as the average human and was practically a full-grown adult when she was barely over a decade old.

!!Archer of Red: Gilgamesh
The legendary king of Uruk as told from the [[Literature/TheEpicOfGilgamesh "Epic of Gilgamesh"]] and the oldest known hero of humanity. He is the Servant of Reines El-Melloi Archisorte.
----
* TheAce: He's ''the'' strongest Servant of the Red Faction and one of the most powerful Servants that can be summoned overall.
* AdaptationalHeroism: While still brash and arrogant, he is much less of a jerk than his depiction in VisualNovel/FateStayNight and Literature/FateZero.
* BlingOfWar: The pieces of armor he wears are gold and ornate in design.
* CompositeCharacter: Of both FSN-Gilgamesh and Proto-Gilgamesh, mainly taking after the latter in terms of character, appearance, and fighting style while also taking a few cues from the former as well. [[spoiler:He also uses the FSN version of the ''Gates of Babylon'' when he finally fights against Ramesses for the first time.]]
* DualWielding: Unlike in canon, he fights in close combat with two golden swords like his Anime/FatePrototype incarnation.
* EveryoneHasStandards: He may be an arrogant jerk, but he was outright disgusted when he saw Manaka brainwash her Servants and force them to obey her.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Still a jerk, though he's far more considerate of others compared to [[VisualNovel/FateStayNight FSN-Gilgamesh]].
* RedBaron: The King of Heroes, due to being the first and oldest known hero of humanity.
* SmugSuper: Much of his arrogance and overall jackassery stems from the fact that he's ''the'' most powerful Servant in the Holy Grail War, and is completely aware of this fact.
* StormOfBlades: The ''Gates of Babylon'' as per usual. In this fic, however, he uses two variations of it. One is him using it the same way as his Proto incarnation would, firing off his treasures in a rotating volley like a Gatling gun. The second is the method used by the FSN version as a sign that he's fighting seriously [[spoiler:such as in his brief fight against Ozymandias]].
* StoryBreakerPower: Him being so ludicrously powerful means that the only characters that can likely take him on in a fight are Karna, Lancelot, Arthur, Achilles, Ozymandias, and Heracles. To keep him from making things too one-sided, his ego and difficulty to control prevent the Red Faction from just sending him in to wreck house.
* StrongAndSkilled: Part of what makes him so powerful is his immense wealth of combat skills and just how ludicrously powerful his Noble Phantasms are. The only character that can match his fighting skill is Karna and the only character that equals his Noble Phantasms is Ozymandias.
* WildCard: Among the characters he's the most prone to doing as he pleases thanks to Reines letting him do so. [[spoiler:This includes going off to meet with Manaka's group without telling anybody else, taking only Reines along with him more or less because she wouldn't leave him alone]].

!!Lancer of Red: Achilles
A famous demigod hero noted for his fighting prowess who fought and died in the Trojan War. He is the Servant of Gray.
----
* TheAce: Aside from Gilgamesh himself, he's the strongest among the Red Servants and is capable of taking on multiple opponents at the same time without losing breath. He even goes head-to-head with [[TheDreaded Karna]] and keeps pace with him several times.
* AchillesHeel: Naturally, his vulnerable point is his heel.
* AdaptationalSuperpowerChange: In canon, he was a Rider-class Servant. Here, he's a Lancer so he does not have access to ''Troias Tragōidia''. Not that it makes him any less powerful.
* BashBrothers: With Cu Chulainn, getting along with him well thanks to their similar personalities.
* ItsPersonal: With Perseus after he kills Chiron. Not simply because Chiron was defeated by him, but the fact that Perseus did so by teaming up with Assassin of Black. As Perseus is also a former student of Chiron, Achilles considers this to be quite dishonorable.
* NighInvulnerability: Like his myth, he has an impenetrable body which is reflected in his Noble Phantasm ''Andreías Amárantos'' protecting him from all forms of damage except for [[AchillesHeel his heel]] and against those with higher Divinity than him such as Chiron.
* StrongAndSkilled: He is an incredibly fast and skilled warrior with four Noble Phantasms including his famed invulnerability and can go toe-to-toe with the likes of Karna.

!!Rider of Red: Iskandar / Alexander the Great
The King of Macedonia whose conquests netted him the title of King of Conquerors. He is the Servant of Waver Velvet / El-Melloi II.
----
* AffablyEvil: He's a conqueror who espouses his desires to take over the world, but he's not a bad guy and is rather nice to everyone on his side and is even respectful to his enemies. It's less that he's a bad guy and more that he's a good guy with a morally dubious motive.
* BadassArmy: ''Ioinian Hetairoi'' as always.
* BloodKnight: Anytime a powerful new warrior enters the war and he catches wind of it, he expresses a desire to fight them.
* FriendlyRivalry: Forms a small one with Astolfo as fellow Riders on opposing sides during the battle between the Red and Black Factions until the Alliance is formed between the Factions.
* KilledOffForReal: Dies in Chapter 24 after Karna nukes him and his army with ''Brahmastra Kundala''.
* RedBaron: The King of Conquerers.
* UndyingLoyalty: Toward his master, Waver, as he carries a lot of respect for him and refuses to let harm come to him. This is also despite not even remembering the previous Grail War where he also served under him.

!!Saber of Black: Siegfried
The hero from the "The Song of the Nibelungs" who slew the dragon Fafnir. Originally the Servant of Gordes Musik Yggdmillenia, he later becomes the Servant of Fiore Forvedge Yggdmillenia.
----
* AchillesHeel: Like canon, it's his back, since it was the only part of his body that wasn't covered in Fafnir's blood.
* AscendedExtra: Far more prominent compared to his role in ''Apocrypha'', where he died very early in the story.
* CoolSword: ''Balmung'', as per canon.
* IdenticalStranger: [[spoiler:Brynhild]] mistakes him for Sigurd when she attacks him in Chapter 22 because of how similar they are.
* MasterSwordsman: Comes with being part of the Saber class. During their fight, Mordred even considers his skill with a blade to rival, if not outright ''equal'', her father King Arthur.
* NighInvulnerability: His Noble Phantasm ''Armor of Fafnir'' grants him this except for a spot on his back. It's even improved upon thanks to a defensive charm given to him by Medea but it can be penetrated by weapons that bypass magical defenses such as Rogue Rider's scythe.
* SparedByTheAdaptation: Was originally killed off rather early during the original story of ''Apocrypha'' after sacrificing himself to save Sieg's life. In this story said event never happens, and he later becomes the Servant of Fiore after she loses Chiron and Gordes is killed.

!!Rider of Black: Astolfo
One of the Twelve Paladins of Charlemagne known for his good looks and many adventures. Originally the Servant of Celenike Icecolle Yggdmillenia, he later becomes the Servant of Sieg.
----
* AlwaysSomeoneBetter: PlayedForLaughs with Elizabeth when it comes to singing and appearances.
* BraidsOfAction: His long hair is done into a braid.
* {{Cloudcuckoolander}}: He tends to go off on wild tangents and has a strange way of thinking due to his skill "Evaporation of Sanity".
* DudeLooksLikeALady: Can be easily mistaken for a girl thanks to his androgynous appearance and clothing. ''Even Jeanne herself initially cannot tell his gender even with her abilities as Ruler.''
* FriendlyRivalry:
** Forms a minor one with Iskander as fellow Rider-Class Servants on opposing sides. Though this gets dropped after the Factions unite.
** Has a more active one with Elizabeth when it comes to singing and appearances.
* OurGryphonsAreDifferent: Rides a Hippogriff into battle.
* PluckyComicRelief: Both he and Elizabeth are this among their team.

!!Caster of Black: Medea
A sorceress from Ancient Greece best known for her relationship with the Argonaut leader Jason. She is the Servant of Roche Frain Yggdmillenia.
----
* AdaptationalHeroism: Much more friendly and heroic compared to canon. Justified as her situation as a Servant is vastly different compared to her status in ''VisualNovel/FateStayNight''.
* CutenessProximity: Towards Jeanne, more than once expressing a desire to dress the latter up because of how beautiful she is.
* DarkIsNotEvil: Is known as the "Witch of Betrayal" and wears a dark cloak and hood, but she is one of the good guys.
* IronicName: Despite her title as the "Witch of Betrayal", she's completely loyal and devoted to Roche.
* InTheHood: Wears a hood over her head all the time.
* OddFriendship: With Astolfo and Elizabeth.
* ParentalSubstitute: Towards Roche, trying to act as a supportive figure towards the young boy.
* RedBaron: The Witch of Betrayal, as mentioned above.

!!Berserker of Black: Elizabeth Báthory
The infamous Blood Countess of Hungary and the inspiration for Carmilla. She is the Servant of Caules Forvedge Yggdmillenia.
----
* BecauseYouWereNiceToMe: Cares about Vlad, and even affectionately refers to him as "Uncle", because he treats her respectfully, albeit strictly, and even helped Elizabeth to better her singing ability prior to the beginning of the war.
* LittleBitBeastly: She has the horns and tail of a dragon due to her ''Innocent Monster'' skill distorting her appearance. She can also sprout wings on her back whenever she wants to fly.
* SuperScream: Her Noble Phantasm, ''Báthory Erzsebet'', is this. It takes the form of a castle with stereo speakers built into the walls which serve as an amplifier for Elizabeth when she lets out a sonic roar towards her opponent. [[spoiler:She uses this to deflect Atalanta's own Noble Phantasm during Chapter 14.]]
* ItsPersonal: Once she finds out that Vlad is dead, she's quick to demand who killed him and promises to repay the favor herself.
* PluckyComicRelief: She and Astolfo are basically this among their team.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Masters of Red/Black]]
!!Waver Velvet/El-Melloi II
A professor from the Clocktower who once took part in a Holy Grail War in the past as a young man. He is the Master of Iskandar.
----
* AscendedExtra: A minor character in ''Apocrypha'', but is a Master of Red himself and the overall leader of the Red Faction.
* BigGood: He starts out as the leader of the Red Faction and becomes one of the main leaders of the Alliance alongside Jeanne and Fiore.
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: He's the leader of the Red Faction and is quick to agree to Fiore's suggestion for a temporary ceasefire between their groups in order to deal with the Rogue Servants that keep appearing.
* UndyingLoyalty: Towards Iskandar even if the former doesn't remember him from their last Holy Grail War together.

!!Reines El-Melloi Archisorte
The young head of the El-Melloi clan. She is the Master of Gilgamesh.
----
* AscendedExtra: Was originally a minor character with a cameo in ''Apocrypha'' but is now a Master of Red herself.
* TheOjou: Fits the trope the most among the characters.
* VitriolicBestBuds: Has shades of this with Gilgamesh, where two often trade barbs at each other but it's clear that both get along.

!!Gray
A hooded girl who's an apprentice to Waver and bears a striking similarity to Saber of Red. She is the Master of Achilles.
----
* HeroicLineage: Unlike in canon, she actually is related to [[spoiler:King Arthur]].
* IdenticalStranger: With Mordred and also Guinevere. [[spoiler:Considering her true lineage, however, it's more of a case of StrongFamilyResemblance even if Gray herself isn't related to Mordred as her line comes from Lucius]].
* InTheHood: Her outfit features one.
* LukeYouAreMyFather: Descendant to be precise, but she pulls this off towards [[spoiler:Arthur as she reveals to him that she's descended from his son Lucius]].
* MysticalWhiteHair: She looks like a white-haired version of Mordred. It's actually a sign of her lineage as [[spoiler:a descendant of Arthur's son, Lucius]].
* SinisterScythe: Carries around a large scythe for combat and is quite efficient with it.

!!Kairi Shishigou
A necromancer and mercenary for hire. He is the Master of Mordred.
----
* DarkIsNotEvil: He's a necromancer with the FaceOfAThug, but he's really a nice guy when you get to know him.
* FaceOfAThug: And he's not too happy about it.
* NumberTwo: Towards Waver, basically acting as his second-in-command.
* ParentalSubstitute: Somewhat plays the part for Mordred, acting as a supportive figure towards her in regards to her issues with her father [[spoiler:and eventually pushes her to reconcile with him in Chapter 26]].

!!Fiore Forvedge Yggdmillenia
The heir to the Yggdmillenia clan of magi and the older sister of Caules. She is the Master of Chiron, and later becomes the Master of Siegfried after the deaths of Chiron and Gordes.
----
* BigGood: She becomes the new head of Yggdmillenia and the Black Faction as well as one of the main leaders of the Alliance alongside Jeanne and Wave.
* HandicappedBadass: Much like in canon, she's disabled but not incapable of fighting either. [[spoiler:This is later subverted as Gilgamesh gives her medicine that restores the usage of her legs without sacrificing her ability as a magus, although she needs to practice walking as she has never walked before]].
* YouAreInCommandNow: After Darnic's death, she becomes the new head of the Yggdmillenia clan and the Black Faction.

!!Caules Forvedge Yggdmillenia
Fiore's younger brother and the Master of Elizabeth. He looks out for his sister's safety during the Holy Grail War.
----
* BigBrotherInstinct: Joins the Holy Grail War mostly to help keep Fiore safe. Inverted in that he's actually the younger brother.
* BirdsOfAFeather: Gets along well with Aya because of how similar their positions are in life.
* ButtMonkey: Tends to get the short end of the stick in comedic situations involving him.
* CovertPervert: He finds himself getting distracted by Serenity thanks to her revealing outfit.
* {{Otaku}}: A fan of anime and especially the idol genre. It's actually through the latter bit that Elizabeth gets the idea to become an idol herself.

!!Roche Frain Yggdmillenia
A young prodigy who specializes in the creation of Golems. He is the Master of Medea.
----
* {{Jerkass}}: Somewhat abrasive towards others, especially Caules. Medea is working on remedying that.
* MoralityPet: Towards Medea, whose behavior in the story is partially a result of her wanting to be a good role model for Roche.
* SparedByTheAdaptation: As Avicebron is not his Servant and the circumstances being different, he is still alive and kicking.

!!Sieg
A homunculus that was chosen by Darnic as a test subject for one of Medea's experiments. He later gains Command Spells and becomes Astolfo's Master.
----
* AdaptationalSuperpowerChange: Instead of temporarily changing into Siegfried like in ''Literature/FateApocrypha'', Sieg can transform parts of himself into a dragon after receiving the heart of the Dragon of Colchis from Medea.
* BadassTransplant: Is given a dragon heart by Medea which allows him to partially transform himself into a dragon. [[spoiler:He becomes strong enough that he, together with Astolfo, can hold their ground against a Class-Card enhanced Beatrice]].
* MysticalWhiteHair: Has white hair and is a homunculus who gained dragon powers.
* UnskilledButStrong: His abilities in general. Though they are powerful, Sieg has no real experience utilizing such abilities and thus has to practice doing so.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Other Servants/Masters]]
Servants and their Masters that aren't necessarily part of either Faction or were taken out early before the group heads out to Tokyo.
----
!!Lancer: Cu Chulainn
The Hound of Chulainn Setanta who is also known as Ireland's Child of Light. He is the Servant of Ayaka Tohsaka.
----
* BashBrothers: With Achilles, forming something of an instant friendship the moment they meet.
* CurbStompCushion: His "Gae Bolg" may not be powerful enough to kill him in one shot like it would for most people, it still allows Cu to boast about being one of the few to make Karna bleed.
* FaceMonsterTurn: The Alliance loses him when he's [[spoiler:killed by Lancelot. His Class Card is unfortunately recovered by Angelica, and Shirou's faction re-summon him to fight on their side as soon as they can]].
* InstantRunes: In addition to his spear, he is also able to use Primordial Runes. [[spoiler:It's how he was able to locate Robin Hood and kill him by placing a tracking and repair rune on a piece of his cloak that he tore off.]]
* OneHitKill: ''Gae Bolg'', a spear that can reverse causality to ensure that it hits its targets through their hearts.
* TheWorfBarrage: His Gae Bolg attack is generally a one-hit kill move as it targets the heart by reversing causality. Just to show how powerful Karna is, the child of the sun god Surya survives it and shrugs it off, though it still leaves him wounded.

!!Ayaka Tohsaka
A member of the Tohsaka Family and granddaughter to Ayaka Sajyou. She is the Master of Cu Chulainn.
----
* ButNotTooForeign: Japanese with a quarter of British blood in her veins.
* GenerationXerox: Looks and acts like a blonde-haired version of her grandmother.
* StrongFamilyResemblance: In addition to her grandmother, it's also been noted that she resembles Manaka as well.

!!Archer of Black: Chiron
A wise centaur sage from Ancient Greece who taught many heroes like Achilles, Heracles, Jason and Perseus. He is the Servant of Fiore Forvedge Yggdmillenia.
----
* DeathByAdaptation: In comparison to Siegfried who lives, Chiron dies relatively early on during Act II [[spoiler:at the hands of Rogue Rider, who is none other than his former student, Perseus.]]
* DemotedToExtra: Due to dying, his role in this story is significantly reduced compared to canon.
* MentorArchetype: Was this to both Achilles, [[spoiler:Perseus and Heracles]] during his life.
* OffscreenMomentOfAwesome: Before his death, he takes on both Perseus and a bunch of Assassin of Black's personas by himself. While he dies in the end, he does manage to take out all of the personas and even inflict an arm injury on Perseus that completely hampered his fighting capabilities for the majority of ACT-2.

!!Lancer of Black: Vlad III / Vlad the Impaler
The infamous ruler of Wallachia known for impaling his enemies on stakes. He is the Servant of Darnic Prestone Yggdmillenia.
----
* AffectionateNickname: Is called "Uncle" by Elizabeth. They're not actually related but she comes to care about him to a great degree during their time together.
* BirdsOfAFeather: Implied with Elizabeth, who also was born in Eastern Europe and whose legend associates her with vampires as well.
* BerserkButton: Like in Literature/FateApocrypha he does not take the name Dracula well and wishes to use the Grail to erase it and the stain on his reputation.
* HonorBeforeReason: Even when faced with Heracles, an opponent that his B-Rank Noble Phantasm can't even faze, he still refuses to use ''Legend of Dracula'' to give himself an edge. [[spoiler:It leads to his death when he and Darnic don't stop arguing about this before Heracles kills them]].
* ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice: His Noble Phantasm ''Kazikli Bey'' allows him to conjure hundreds of stakes from the ground to impale his enemies. [[spoiler:It's what he used to kill Berserker of Red twice.]]
* KilledOffForReal: Much like in canon. However, how he dies is different here as in the original he was killed by Shirou. [[spoiler:Here he's killed by Heracles on orders from Manaka]].
* ParentalSubstitute: Towards Elizabeth, briefly acting as a parent figure towards her since he sees her not as the Bloody Countess that she's known as but rather as a child that's just in need of proper guidance.

!!Darnic Prestone Yggdmillenia
The head of the Yggdmillenia clan and the grandfather of Fiore and Caules. He is the Master of Vlad and was a former participant of the Third Holy Grail War of Tokyo.
----
* AdaptationalSuperpowerChange: Not him, but his Servant in the Third Holy Grail War. In canon, he was the Master of Fionn. Here, he was the Master of Heracles in said War.
* KilledOffForReal: As with Vlad, his death differs compared to canon. [[spoiler:Instead of Shirou, he dies at the hands of Manaka and Heracles at the end of Chapter 14 together with Vlad.]]

!!Gordes Musik Yggdmillenia
A member of the Yggdmillenia clan whose family is responsible for the creation of the homunculi that serve as their workforce. He is the Master of Siegfried.
----
* DeathByAdaptation: Dies in this story whereas he originally survived in canon.
* KilledOffscreen: During Chapter 14 together with Celenike.

!!Celenike Icecolle Yggdmillenia
A member of the Yggdmillenia clan who has a sadistic streak. She is the Master of Astolfo.
----
* KilledOffscreen: During Chapter 14 together with Gordes.
[[/folder]]

!Rogue Faction
A group of Masters and Servants who exist outside the rules of the Great Holy Grail War and seek to use the Grail for their own ends. They are led by Shirou Kotomine.
----
[[folder:Shirou Kotomine]]
!!Shirou Kotomine / Amakusa Shirou Tokisada
An overseer sent by the Church and the Master of Semiramis. It's later revealed that he's actually the Ruler-Class Servant of the Third Holy Grail War Amakusa Shirou Tokisada, the leader of the failed Shimabara Rebellion and overall leader of the Rogue Faction together with Julian Ainsworth.
----
* AffablyEvil: He remains courteous and polite with everyone, including his enemies, but can be ruthless in the pursuit of his goal of saving humanity.
* BigBad: While Manaka is the greater threat, he's more active as the main villain while she chooses to wait and watch as the Holy Grail War plays out [[spoiler:until Chapter 29 when she attacks the Rogue Faction's base.]]
* DidNotSeeThatComing: For all his planning and manipulations, he did not foresee the participation of [[TheDreaded Manaka]] and her stealing the Trifas Grail.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: He's one of the villains, but he'd rather keep the civilian populace completely uninvolved and avoid doing anything that could potentially harm them altogether. He also despises Manaka, calling her a witch on two occasions, and opposes her attempt to summon the Beast of Revelation.
* TheGadfly: Somewhat towards Julian.
* OlderThanTheyLook: Looks like he's in his late teens but has been around since the end of the Third Holy Grail War in the 1940s, making him about 70 years old in the current period.
* VillainHasAPoint: He refuses to align himself with the Alliance to fight Manaka, but he does raise many valid reasons for doing so. He, as a former Ruler, has already broken the laws of the Grail War several times over and would be punished for his actions immediately after the fact. Not to mention that if he does so and succeeds, the Rogue Faction and the Alliance would just go back to fighting, so he sees no point in teaming up since he doesn't stand to gain anything from it.
* WellIntentionedExtremist: Intends on using the Holy Grail to better humanity by any means necessary, including killing all those who oppose him.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Servants]]
The Servants summoned to the Rogue Faction to aid Shirou and his Ainsworth allies. Instead of being summoned via the Grail, they were summoned using Class Cards modified by Shirou and the Ainsworths to act as their spirit cores. When summoned, the Master would have three Command Seals and if the Servant dies, they can summon the Servant again provide the Card is still intact and they still have Command Seals, but the Servants would lose their memories of the previous summoning.
----
!!Lancer: Karna
A powerful demigod hero from the Hindu epic ''Mahabharata'' who served King Duryodhana and fought against the Pandavas, his own half-brothers, in the Kurukshetra War. He is a Servant of Shirou Kotomine.
----
* TheAce: The strongest fighter among the Servants of the Rogue Faction thanks to his invincibility and fighting skills. He's able to go head-on with other powerful heroes like Arthur, Cu Chulainn, Achilles, and Heracles with little to no difficulty.
* ArmorOfInvincibility: As per canon, ''Kavacha and Kundala'' reduces all forms of attacks to 1/10th of its initial strength. Combined with his own toughness as a demigod, this basically makes him NighInvulnerable to all attacks.
* BadassCape: Has a cape made of the sun's fires secured to two pauldrons floating beside his shoulders.
* DiscardAndDraw: Karna's strongest Noble Phantasm ''Vasavi Shakti'' is a Divine weapon capable of killing anything in its way (up to and including Gods), but he has to sacrifice ''Kavacha and Kundala'' to obtain it and it can only be used once.
* EyeBeams: He can fire a powerful laser called ''Brahmastra'' from his eye that can destroy the side of a mountain. He uses it against Achilles and Brynhild.
* FantasticNuke: His Noble Phantasm ''Brahmastra Kundala'' is basically this. [[spoiler:He uses it to kill Iskandar and destroy his Army within ''Ionian Hetairoi''.]]
* MadeOfIron: During his fight with Cu Chulainn, he takes a direct hit to the heart from ''Gae Bolg'' which manages to bypass his invincible armor. Not only does he survive this and more or less shrug off the fatal wound, but he also continues with the fight and nearly killed Cu Chulainn.
* MysticalWhiteHair: Has white hair, and is a powerful demigod hero and warrior.
* NighInvulnerability: As mentioned above, he is nearly invincible thanks to his Armor Noble Phantasm ''Kavacha and Kundala''.
* OddFriendship: With Atalanta.
* OneManArmy: With his fighting skills and powerful Noble Phantasms, he is basically this. [[spoiler:He lays waste to Rider's entire army with ''Brahmastra Kundala''.]]
* PlayingWithFire: Can surround himself with fire (or more appropriately, solar flares) to make his attacks deadlier, but due to his high mana consumption, he does not use it often.
* RedBaron: The Hero of Charity known for his sense of honor.
* StrongAndSkilled: It goes without saying given his performance in ''Literature/FateApocrypha''. His incredible fighting skills and [[SuperpowerLottery absurdly powerful Noble Phantasms]] make him one of the strongest Servants in the Holy Grail War.
* TheStoic: He rarely shows emotions on his face, making it hard to tell what he's thinking.
* TeamDad: Plays this role for the Rogue Faction Servants, being the one most likely to stop them from bickering with each other.
* WorthyOpponent: Several, but special mention goes to Cu Chulainn who managed to wound him despite wearing his invincible armor.

!!Archer: Atalanta
A heroine from Ancient Greece known for her vow of chastity to the goddess Artemis, taking part in the hunt for the Calydonian Boar and being a member of the Argonauts. She is a Servant of Shirou Kotomine.
----

* CatGirl: She spots lion ears and a tail despite not having them in her legend. They are a reference to how she was turned into a lioness after breaking her vow of chastity.
* EmbarrassingNickname: Robin likes to call her "Kitty" due to her lion ears and tail, much to her annoyance.
* EmergencyTransformation: In Chapter 31, [[spoiler:after being poisoned by Hassan of Serenity, she activates ''Agrius Metamorphosis'' to give herself extra strength to fight the Hassan before she dies from the poison.]]
* FriendToAllChildren: Her wish is to help out the children in the world.
* LittleBitBeastly: Has lion ears and a tail, referencing how she was turned into a lioness at the end of her legend.
* OddFriendship: With Karna whom she is quite close to. She's also rather cordial towards Perseus, mainly because he never tried to hit on her - something she would never have expected from a son of Zeus.
* RainOfArrows: Her Noble Phantasm ''Phoebes Catastrophe'' is basically this.
* RedBaron: The Chaste Huntress for being a solitary huntress who made a vow of chastity to Artemis.
* TokenGoodTeammate: Among the Rogue Faction Servants she's easily the most conflicted about her part in the war. Nonetheless, this doesn't stop her from fighting when necessary.
* WouldntHurtAChild: Her main desire is to help all children in the world. As a result, she's highly conflicted with the idea of fighting Manaka due to her appearance as a young girl.

!!Archer: Robin Hood
A noble rogue who is spoken of in tales from the British Isles and was known to steal from the rich and give to the poor, although this particular Servant is one of the many people who took the name of 'Robin Hood'. He is the Servant of Beatrice Flowerchild.
----
* AnArmAndALeg: [[spoiler:Robin's hand was cut off by Arthur when the latter saved Ayaka in chapter 10.]]
* ButtMonkey: Gets the short end of the stick compared to his comrades.
* CombatPragmatist: Tries to be this, for the most part, making use of magically enhanced modern weaponry and other tactics when pitted against his opponents in a fight.
* InTheHood: Has a green cloak and hood which is also his Noble Phantasm ''No Face May King'', allowing him to become invisible and undetectable by any person, although he cannot use ''Yew Bow'' when it is active.
* KilledOffForReal: [[spoiler:Dies in Chapter 24 at the hands of Cu Chulainn, who destroys his Class Card to make sure he doesn't come back.]]
* ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill: The first time he dies, it's at the hands of Gilgamesh, who impales him dozens of times with the ''Gates of Babylon'' but Gil doesn't realize he needs to destroy Robin's Class Card to kill him for good, so Robin comes back later.
* PoisonousPerson: His Noble Phantasm ''Yew Bow'' makes use of poison to deal more damage to his enemies. [[spoiler:Cu Chulainn got struck by this and was significantly injured in the process, not that it stops him from killing Robin.]]

!!Rider: Perseus
A demigod hero and son of Zeus from Ancient Greece who is famous for killing the Gorgon Medusa and being the legendary founder of the Perseid Dynasty. Although he serves Shirou Kotomine as his Servant, he does not care much about the Rogue Faction and its goals and is quite aloof as a result.
----
* CoolMask: Wears one in his first appearance that hides his identity even from Jeanne's ability. He takes it off in Chapter 14 and does not put it on again.
* CoolHorse: The Pegasus he summons is one.
* HappilyMarried: When Atalanta muses about the fact he never even tried to flirt with her, he answers that Andromeda was and will always be the only woman for him.
* NothingPersonal: He tells Achilles that killing Chiron with Assassin of Black was just him doing his job. It only serves to anger the Hero of Troy due to the 'empty' way Perseus said it.
* {{Pegasus}}: His Noble Phantasm ''Bellerophon'' has him summon the Pegasus as his mount.
* SinisterScythe: Though described as a sword, his Noble Phantasm ''Harpe'' resembles one. It can penetrate magical defenses, making it an effective counter against Siegfried and Achilles who both have magic-based defense Noble Phantasms.
* WorfHadTheFlu: Chiron broke his arm in Chapter 14 which hampers his combat ability for most of ACT-2 though he still supports his teammates using ''Bellerophon'' to provide aerial support. He fully recovers by ACT-3.

!!Berserker: Lancelot du Lac
A Knight of the Round Table touted as one of its greatest members and is infamous for his affair with Queen Guinevere. He is the Servant of Angelica.
----
* BerserkButton: Puns aside, his is whenever he sees Arthur. However, an even greater one would be Mordred as the moment he first sees her his focus immediately shifts upon realizing who she is and starts attacking her while ignoring Arthur.
* BrokenAce: He was once one of the greatest knights to ever live, but his affair with Guinevere led to his disgrace and exile, and the fall of Camelot led him to become a wandering monk who later went mad in life. He now exists as a Servant of Madness consumed almost entirely by his hatred.
* BlackKnight: To contrast against Arthur's [[KnightInShiningArmor White Knight]], his armor is completely black and surrounded by black fog. Only Jeanne realizes who he is at first glance, but she keeps it to herself, knowing that Arthur wouldn't react well to knowing his identity.
* CoolSword: Though he was summoned without it, the Ainsworths were able to provide ''Arondight'' for him.
* ImprovisedWeapon: His Noble Phantasm ''Knight of Honour'' allows him to turn anything he touches into a Noble Phantasm provided it can be conceivably used as a weapon. This ranges from a tree, a stone pillar, a Harrier jet, a rocket launcher, and a street lamp.
* MadeOfIron: He is rather tough due to his armor being capable of taking a lot of damage. For example, while he was injured after he was struck by Mordred's ''Clarent Blood Arthur'', his armor was only dented and scratched while Cu Chulainn had to strike it many times with his spear before it shows any damage.
* ScreamingWarrior: As a Berserker, he is incapable of speech, and can only growl and roar in battle.
* StrongAndSkilled: Like in Literature/FateZero, he retains his incredible fighting skills despite his madness and rage clouding his sanity and can turn anything he touches into a low-ranked Noble Phantasm such that he is able to skillfully fight Arthur, Mordred, Cu Chulainn, and even Gilgamesh.

!!Saber: Richard I / Richard the Lionheart
A King of England who fought in the Third Crusade and is considered to be a great military leader and warrior. He is a Servant of Shirou Kotomine summoned by the Rogue Faction in order to make up for Berserker of Red's loss.
----
* BadassCape: Has a red cape over his left shoulder.
* BlingOfWar: His armor is described as ornately designed.
* CasanovaWannabe: He tried asking Jeanne, Atalanta, Semiramis, and Angela to spend time with him, but all of them refused.
* EffectiveKnockoff: His Noble Phantasms will never reach the level of the true Excalibur, but it never stops them from being highly powerful attacks all the same.
* HonorBeforeReason: He challenges Arthur to a duel to the death in one-on-one combat and refused the aid of his ally Robin Hood. However, he ends up wasting most of his mana in the fight and would have died had Atlanta not intervened. He even acknowledges this.
* IdenticalStranger: He and Arthur strongly resemble one another.
* ImprovisedWeapon: Somewhat similar to Rogue Berserker, his Noble Phantasm ''Excalibur'' allows him to turn anything he grabs into a copy of Excalibur in terms of function.
* TheKnightsWhoSaySquee: Towards King Arthur who was his idol in life and is thrilled at the chance of fighting against.
* LetsFightLikeGentlemen: He challenges Arthur to a one-on-one fight, to which his opponent agrees to, with no outside help from anyone.
* MasterSwordsman: Is able to match Arthur's swordsmanship and manages to wound him, and only lost because he ran out of mana. He later fights Brynhild and was able to keep up with her despite the latter being stronger than him.
* MyMasterRightOrWrong: Supports Shirou in his goal because it is a lofty ideal despite all the bad things the former had done. He simply believes Shirou needs a guiding hand to make sure nothing goes wrong.
* SixthRanger: Compared to his comrades, he was only summoned when the story was well into ACT-2.
* WorfHadTheFlu: Due to receiving an injury from fighting Arthur, Richard spent the latter half of ACT-2 recovering in the Hanging Gardens. He is back in action by ACT-3.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Former Red/Black Servants]]
!!Assassin of Red: Semiramis
The legendary Wise Queen of Assyria who is considered to be one of the first people in history to commit murder by poison. She is the Servant of Shirou Kotomine.
----
* TheBeastmaster: She can create and control Dragon Tooth Warriors as well as the poisonous serpentine Bašmu.
* GodSaveUsFromTheQueen: Perhaps one of the earliest examples in legend.
* LadyOfBlackMagic: A beautiful but deadly spellcaster who controls the ''Hanging Gardens of Babylon'' and can conjure powerful spells and dangerous beasts from within her domain.
* NonIndicativeName: Like in ''[[Literature/FateApocrypha Apocrypha]]'', despite being an Assassin she primarily uses magic rather than any assassination techniques, making her the Rogue Faction's Caster by default since their actual Caster doesn't have any offensive magic spells and is rather weak.
* NumberTwo: Of the Rogue Faction members, she is essentially Shirou's second in command.
* PoisonousPerson: She has poison as one of her weapons, although she has yet to poison anyone.
* RedBaron: The Wise Queen of Assyria. Also known as The World's Oldest Poisoner.
* YouRemindMeOfX: Gilgamesh compares her to Ishtar at one point, something that Semiramis finds very complimenting. Mordred also finds her similar to her own mother Morgan Le Fay.

!!Caster of Red: William Shakespeare
One of the most famous English playwrights in history. He is the Servant of Shirou Kotomine by proxy of his original Master.
----
* DistressedDude: [[spoiler:Was captured by Manaka in Chapter 29 with the intent of turning him to her side.]]
* TheFriendNobodyLikes: Because of his hamminess and overbearing nature, his allies tend to get exasperated with him fairly quickly.
* NonActionGuy: As he states, he's a poet and writer, so physical combat isn't his forte.
* PluckyComicRelief: Much like Astolfo and Elizabeth to the Black Faction, he serves this role amongst his team members.

!!Berserker of Red: Lu Bu Fengxian
A general from the Three Kingdoms era of China infamous for his numerous betrayals and his mighty battle prowess. He is the Servant of Shirou Kotomine by proxy of his original Master.
----
* KilledOffForReal: By Vlad III during Chapter 14.
* MorphWeapon: His main Noble Phantasm ''God Force'' is a Ji that can change into a bow for long-range attacks.
* NotQuiteDead: Was killed by Vlad III in Chapter 8 [[spoiler:but it was a ruse by Julian to have him turned into a Class Card Servant and add him to the Rogue Faction's numbers without Jeanne or anyone else realizing it]].
* RedBaron: The Flying General.
* ScreamingWarrior: Is incapable of speech and can only growl and roar. [[spoiler:The only time he speaks is after Vlad kills him again and he asks him to remember him as he dies.]]
* WeHardlyKnewYe: Hard to know a mindless Berserker who has no real stakes in the Holy Grail War, though he does ask Vlad to remember him as he dies.

!!Assassin of Black: Hundred Faced Hassan
A Servant comprised of multiple personas whose identity is the nineteenth and final person to bear the title of Hassan-I-Sabbah. They are the Servant of Julian Ainsworth.
----
* AdaptationalBadass: Compared to their showing in Literature/FateZero, they are far more dangerous than in canon since Shirou was able to procure better weapons for them to make better use of their abilities and numbers.
* KilledOffForReal: Is killed by Serenity in Chapter 31.
* MesACrowd: Their main Zabaniya is being divided into eighty individuals.
* SixthRangerTraitor: Towards the Black Faction as by the time the story begins, Assassin and their Master are the last members of the Black Faction to join. They later end up betraying the group, having been in league with Shirou Kotomine the entire time.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Masters]]
!!Julian Ainsworth
A youth who is a member of the Ainsworth family, the creators of the Class Cards. He is the Master of Assassin of Black.
----
* BigBrotherInstinct: Noted with his younger sister.
* {{Jerkass}}: He's a rather unpleasant individual most of the time though he can be civil if he wants.
* SixthRangerTraitor: See Assassin of Black's entry above.

!!Angelica
A blonde-haired woman in service to the Ainsworth family. She is the Master of Lancelot.
----
* LaserGuidedKarma: [[spoiler:After getting captured by Manaka in Chapter 30 and having her Command Seals and mastery over Lancelot taken from her, she wonders if this trope is in effect for taking Cu Chulainn's Class Card after killing him with Lancelot.]]
* LackOfEmpathy: She doesn't care if they have to harm or endanger civilians to achieve their goals.
* MythologyGag: In ''Prisma Illya'' she's the wielder of the Gilgamesh Class-Card. In this fic, she's the Master of Lancelot who in ''Literature/FateZero'' served as something of a counter to Gilgamesh's abilities.

!!Beatrice Flowerchild
A red-haired girl in service to the Ainsworth family. She is the Master of Robin Hood.
----
* ACupAngst: Is not amused by the fact that Angelica and Semiramis have rather large tracks of land.
* ButtMonkey: Like Master, like Servant, she serves this role together with Robin.
* HairTriggerTemper: She's rather easy to annoy.
[[/folder]]

!Manaka's Group
A group formed by Manaka Sajyou made up of herself and the Servants who fought in the Third Holy Grail War. Though their objective is to raise the Beast of Revelation, they're currently content watching the Alliance and Rogue Faction fight.
----
[[folder:Manaka Sajyou]]
!!Manaka Sajyou
The older sister of Ayaka Sajyou and the former Master of Arthur who is believed to have died at his hands during the Third Holy Grail War. She seeks to use the Beast of Revelation as a means to grant her beloved prince's wish.
----
* TheAce: As an incredibly powerful and talented Magus, she is the most powerful of all the Masters of both Grail Wars that she has participated in. Her feats include being able to teleport into the ''Hanging Gardens of Babylon'' without Semiramis knowing, able to fully empower and mind control ''six servants'' at once and revive any that fall, launch a beam attack that likely would have killed Mordred if Jean hadn't deflected it with her defensive Noble Phantasm and was able to control the Grail. Honestly, if Manaka had suspected that Arthur would betray her it's unlikely he would have managed to kill her.
* ACupAngst: Humorously enough, she has a case of this when she meets Jeanne. Since she died at the age of 14, her body stopped aging as well. As a result, she's quite jealous of the former's rack as she's likely to never develop one of her own.
* TheAgeless: She hasn't aged past fourteen in the sixty years since her death.
* AxCrazy: Considering the childlike glee she has in sacrificing children (including her younger sister) to achieve her goals and how unnervingly giddy she is when her Servants kill people, it's clear that there's something very, '''very''' wrong with her.
* BackFromTheDead: Died at the hands of Arthur in the previous Holy Grail War but has somehow returned via the power of the Grail.
* BewareTheSillyOnes: She usually acts like a naïve and silly child but don't be fooled, she is easily the most powerful magus in the story, is possibly stronger than even the Servants who used magic in the Age of the Gods and is completely insane.
* CainAndAbel: The Cain to Ayaka's Abel. The fact that she almost killed the latter further reinforces the comparison.
* TheDreaded: Her mere presence is enough to have everyone immediately go on the alert. Darnic, an extremely powerful and experienced magus who fought and survived a past Grail War, panicked when she arrives and quickly ordered Vlad to kill her using a Command Seal because of how dangerous she was. Other humans and even Servants are uneasy around her as they sense there was something 'off' about her.
* EasilyForgiven: Does not have the slightest grudge against Arthur for betraying and killing her and actually considers it a sign of his love.
* FauxAffablyEvil: Don't let her childish behavior and appearance fool you. Manaka is completely mad and willing to do ''anything'' to grant Arthur's wish.
* GreaterScopeVillain: She primarily works from the shadows of the Grail War. Even after she reveals herself, she's content to wait as the Alliance and Rogue Faction fight and kill each other before making her move [[spoiler:until recently when she mounts an attack on the Rogue Faction's base in Chapter 29]].
* HerosEvilPredecessor: She's the former Master of Arthur and the overall villain of the story, so she serves as this to Jeanne.
* ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice: Like in canon, Arthur stabs her from behind with Excalibur when he betrayed her.
* OlderThanTheyLook: Has the appearance of a 14-year old girl but like Shirou, she is far older than her appearance suggests.
* RedBaron: Ozymandias calls her ''Potnia Theron'', hinting at her connection to the Beast of Revelation.
* VillainHasAPoint: She isn't wrong when she points out that for something that can supposedly give a Master and Servants happiness the Grail has caused nothing but bloodshed and suffering something Jeanne concedes is correct.
* WoundThatWillNotHeal: She still has the impalement wound she received from Arthur sixty years ago when he killed her. She considers it to be a mark of love from him.
* WellIntentionedExtremist: She is somewhat this, wanting to destroy the current world to help restore Arthur's fallen kingdom.
* {{Yandere}}: Much like in canon, she's this towards Arthur. Even being literally stabbed in the back by her beloved prince didn't change this, showing just how delusional she is.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Manaka's Servants]]
The six Servants who fought and died in the Third Holy Grail War of Tokyo during World War II. They have been [[BackFromTheDead brought back by Manaka]] and [[BrainwashedAndCrazy placed under her control]] to aid and protect her.
----
!!Archer: Arash
A hero from Iranian mythology whose single shot ended a war between the Iranians and Turanians at the cost of his life. Friendly and down to earth, he gets along well with his comrades. He was the Servant of Elsa Saijou in the Third Holy Grail War.
----
* AffablyEvil: Evil is stretching it, but he's rather friendly for someone who's aiding [[TheDreaded Manaka]]. This is partly due to the fact that he's BrainwashedAndCrazy along with the other Servants from the Third Holy Grail War.
* EmergencyTransformation: A villainous example happens in Chapter 31. [[spoiler:Just when Shirou had him pinned down and was about to cleanse him of Manaka's influence, she turns him into an Alter version of himself to stop Shirou from doing so and to continue fighting him.]]
* FriendlySniper: Deadly with a bow and is quite heroic by nature.
* JustToyingWithThem: When fighting Mordred in Chapter 22, he admitted that he underestimated her and had been holding back, which only serves to anger her.
* MadeOfIron: In Chapter 22, he got tackled by Mordred using her Mana Burst only to get back up no worse for wear. The fact that he has no immortal or invulnerability-based ability just shows how tough he is.
* StrongerThanTheyLook: Despite his simple appearance, Arash is a lot stronger than he initially lets on. Mordred compared him to one of the Knights of the Round Table (specifically Tristan) and was surprised at how powerful his arrows have become once he stops holding back.
* SuicideAttack: His Noble Phantasm ''Stella'' is a powerful attack that kills him after using it once, forcing a MutualKill at best or a SenselessSacrifice at worst. [[spoiler:He uses it against Mordred but fails because Gilgamesh shielded her. However, thanks to Manaka having control over the Tokyo Grail, she manages to bring him back no worse for wear with all of his memories intact, bypassing his Noble Phantasm's major demerit and demonstrating that killing Manaka's Servants is easier said than done.]]

!!Lancer: Brynhild
A Valkyrie from Norse mythology famous for falling in love with the hero Sigurd and causing his death when he betrayed her, leading to her committing suicide in her grief.
----
* {{BFS}}: Not only is it huge, but her spear can get even bigger and heavier.
* InstantRunes: Can utilize Primordial Runes and is highly proficient with it. [[spoiler:She uses them to summon golems against Shishigou and Fiore to keep them away while she fights Siegfried.]]
* LightningBruiser: Not to the same level as Heracles, but she is noted to be incredibly fast and strong despite her slender and delicate appearance, able to keep up with Arthur (in the Third War), Siegfried, Karna, Cu Chulainn, and Richard the Lionheart.
* MysticalWhiteHair: She has long white hair, is a former Valkyrie, and is a powerful Servant in her own right.
* PlayingWithFire: Can surround herself with blue flames to enhance her attacks.
* ThePowerOfLove: Weaponized due to her Noble Phantasm ''Brynhild Romantia''. The stronger her feelings towards her target, the stronger she herself becomes [[spoiler:as seen with her fight against Siegfried, being able to keep up with him even with 3 Command Spells enhancing his abilities and against Richard the Lionheart due to his resemblance to Arthur that he was pretty much overwhelmed and almost died if not for Cu Chulainn helping him.]]
* WorldsMostBeautifulWoman: She has been described as having such gorgeous looks that they are comparable to a divine being, and several characters have noted how beautiful she is.
* {{Yandere}}: Towards Sigurd and Arthur. Woe to anyone who reminds her of either as both [[IdenticalStranger Siegfried and Richard]] would find out the hard way.

!!Rider: Ramesses II / Ozymandias
The Third Pharaoh of Egypt's Nineteenth Dynasty who is most well-known for his relationship with Moses, the man who liberated the Hebrews. Of the six Servants, he is the only one not completely under Manaka's control and is waiting for a chance to betray her. He was the Servant of Jubstacheit von Einzbern in the Third Holy Grail War alongside Amakusa Shirou Tokisada.
----
* TheAce: He's one of the strongest Servants imaginable. In the previous war he partook in, it took ''five Servants'' that were empowered by the Ruler of the Third Holy Grail War to successfully defeat him, and this was ''after'' his Master had been killed by Assassin and his mana supply was wearing thin. Even Arthur thinks that he cannot defeat him by himself and the only person they can count on to beat him is Gilgamesh.
* AffablyEvil: He is really only evil because he is forced to help Manaka. Outside of that, he seems pretty likable.
* TheBeastMaster: His Noble Phantasms ''The Sphinx of Abu el-Hol'' [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin is a powerful Phantasmal Beast sphinx]] that he rides on, and he can summon even more from it which is no small feat.
* CoolBoat: His other Noble Phantasm ''Mesektet'' is a floating barge capable of shooting powerful sunbeams.
* TheDreaded: He is this to the Alliance after Arthur reveals just what it took to bring him down in the last Grail War. [[spoiler:When he arrives at the beginning of ACT-3, Kairi, Fiore and even Siegfried are afraid of him given the power he demonstrated.]]
* ItsPersonal: Somewhat. He is still resentful of Shirou for betraying him in the Third War.
* RedBaron: Calls himself the King of Kings which pisses off Gilgamesh. He later gets called the Sun King by the latter, a title he finds complimentary.
* WorthyOpponent: Sees Arthur as this, wanting to have a rematch with him together with the latter's new allies. [[spoiler:He also develops this attitude towards Gilgamesh and vice versa as the two quickly come to respect the other after their initial bout.]]

!!Caster: Tamamo-no-Mae
A legendary courtesan and fox spirit from Japanese mythology who served Emperor Toba. She has a cheerful personality that masks the darkness within her.
----
* AffablyEvil: As noted above, she has a cheerful personality that hides her much darker traits. The fact that she is aiding Manaka reinforces this.
* AsianFoxSpirit: Perhaps the most famous kitsune in Japanese mythology.
* CutenessProximity: Finds her Master to be adorable and dresses her up in various outfits at one point.
* KimonoIsTraditional: Wears a blue kimono with an ImpossiblyLowNeckline. One wonders how it has not fallen off yet.
* MythologyGag: Descriptions of her appearance are a direct reference to her 3rd Ascension form in ''VideoGame/FateGrandOrder''.
* LittleBitBeastly: As a [[AsianFoxspirit kitsune]], she has a pair of fox ears and a tail that she doesn't bother to hide. [[spoiler:It's how Gilgamesh was able to deduce her identity.]]
* NumberTwo: Among the six Servants, she's this towards Manaka.
* ParentalSubstitute: PlayedForLaughs as she acts the part of an overly doting mother towards Manaka, [[RuleOfFunny the latter of whom is mildly disturbed by it.]]

!!Assassin: Hassan of Serenity
One of the nineteen people to inherit the name of Hassan-I-Sabbah who utilizes poison as her own Zabaniya.
----
* CoolMask: Like all the Hassan, she wears their iconic skull mask to conceal her face.
* MsFanservice: Wears a revealing outfit and Caules catches himself staring at her during her fight against Elizabeth. This makes sense as it allows her to better utilize her poison-based Zabaniya.
* ItsPersonal: She detests Shirou for doing something to her but the reason is unknown.
* OneWomanArmy: She is this thanks to her ability to spread her poison through the air as well through touch. [[spoiler:It's how she takes out Hundred Face Hassan as well.]]
* PoisonousPerson: Her main Zabaniya ability. [[spoiler:She nearly offs Caules with it in Chapter 22 if not for Gilgamesh's antidote. She later uses this to kill Hundred Face Hassan and poisons Atalanta in Chapter 31.]]

!!Berserker: Heracles
A demigod son of Zeus considered one of the greatest heroes of Ancient Greece, famous for his immense strength and for completing the Twelve Labours. He was the Servant of Darnic Prestone Yggmellania in the Third Holy Grail War.
----
* CurbstompBattle: Easily defeats Vlad and Darnic.
* TheDreaded: Treated as such by several characters. Considering that he's Heracles, it really isn't surprising.
* LightningBruiser: Despite his huge size, he is both fast and strong as Vlad III found out the hard way.
* MythologyGag: His weapon and general appearance in this story are direct references to Heracles' third ascension form from ''VideoGame/FateGrandOrder''.
* PhysicalGod: Again, he's Heracles and, given how strong he is, this really isn't a shock.
* ResurrectiveImmortality: Like in ''VisualNovel/FateStayNight'', his Noble Phantasm ''God Hand'' grants him 12 lives and he can only die when all his lives are extinguished, which is easier said than done since he has to be killed 12 different times for it to stick.
* ScreamingWarrior: Like Lancelot and Berserker of Red. The only time he speaks is in Chapter 31 [[spoiler:when he regenerates after being struck by Vasavi Shakti and telling Karna that the Rogue Faction has to work with the Alliance if they want to defeat Manaka.]]
* WorthyOpponent: Karna considers him to be this.

!Other Characters (Warning! Spoilers)

[[folder:Ayaka Sajyou]]
!!Ayaka Sajyou
The younger sister of Manaka, now an old woman in her twilight years. She is the grandmother and namesake of Ayaka Tohsaka, [[RelatedInTheAdaptation and as well as being the grandmother of a]] [[VisualNovel/FateStayNight certain pair of sisters living in Fuyuki]].
----
* AlmightyMom: Implied to be one to Tokiomi.
* CainAndAbel: The Abel to Manaka's Cain. The fact that the latter tried to kill her only reinforces the comparison.
* DemotedToExtra: Compared to canon she's nothing more than a supporting character here.
* TraumaButton: Reminders of the previous Holy Grail War where she was almost killed by her sister can cause her to suffer from panic attacks. When she saw Arthur, she outright panicked and fainted.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:The Mage]]
!!Merlin
The famous court mage of Arthurian Mythology and one of Arthur's closest friends, advisors, and mentor who vanished before the fall of Camelot. [[HistoricalGenderFlip She]] makes an unnamed appearance in Chapter 4 and has been watching events from the sidelines ever since.
----
* TheArchmage: Why of course.
* HistoricalGenderFlip: As this story is partly based on Anime/FatePrototype, Merlin is a woman.
* MysticalWhiteHair: Has long white hair and is a powerful immortal mage.
* ParentalSubstitute: She is sometimes this to Lucius whenever Guinevere or Arthur aren't around or are too busy.
* SpannerInTheWorks: Is implied to be the one who placed a seal in the Trifas Grail to prevent anyone from accessing it. Not even [[TheAce Manaka]] could bypass it which is why she took the Grail with her. She might also be the reason why Jeanne went to Britain to summon Arthur as her Servant.
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: Merlin had disappeared not before Camelot had fallen, which is why Arthur couldn't seek her assistance when Lucius fell ill and eventually died.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:The Spirit]]
!!Guinevere
The former Queen of Camelot and Arthur's wife. She makes a surprise appearance in Chapters 16-17 as a spirit within a wooden necklace Arthur made for her a long time ago.
----
* AngelicBeauty: She was described as one by Arthur during Chapters 16-17 in the flashback where he first met her in the forest, also helps that she has long, white hair and dark blue eyes complimenting the description.
* ChildhoodFriendRomance: Implied to have happened between her and Arthur as both met when they were still young.
* DotingParent: Towards her son Lucius.
* HappilyMarried: Towards Arthur. [[ForegoneConclusion Sadly it doesn't last]].
* MeaningfulAppearance: She was first described as having dark blue eyes and a snow-white hair.
* IdenticalStranger: She resembles an older version of Gray as seen when Mordred first saw her.
* InnocentBlueEyes: her eyes are described to be dark blue
* TheLostLenore: She's this to Arthur, and he still couldn't get over her years even after his death.
* MyGreatestFailure: How she views her affair with Lancelot, as it resulted in the eventual downfall of Camelot and the death of her husband.
* MysticalWhiteHair: During their first meeting, Arthur describes her like a Snow Angel due to her long hair with light around her head like a halo causing him to blush.
* OutlivingOnesOffspring: What caused her affair with Lancelot to begin. With her son's death and Arthur becoming distant due to grief, she turned to Lancelot in comfort wherein one thing leads to another. Subverted when Lucius is returned to her alive by Morgan Le Fey.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:The Son]]
!!Lucius
The son of Arthur and Guinevere whose passing became a catalyst for Camelot's ruin.
----
* BackFromTheDead: According to Guinevere in chapter 17, he was seen with Morgan when she was in the convent looking for her. Arthur is dubious about it but she was sure that he was their son.
* ChildrenAreInnocent: He was described as being precious and full of wonder.
* DeathOfAChild: His death is one of the many factors, if not ''the'' major factor, that led to things going south for Camelot.
* PointOfDivergence: As Arthur notes, had Mordred revealed who she was to him well before or after Lucius's death, or had he not died at all, things would have turned out very differently for Camelot.
* LonelyRichKid: Played with. Mordred recalls in Chapter 26, that Lucius lacked any friends his age causing him to go after the knights or Merlin or even his nannies as his playmates instead. She even recalls Agravain panicking whenever he went missing or something might have happened to him.
* SpoiledSweet: Male example. Considering he is the son of Arthur and Guinevere, despite his status as a prince. He is still an innocent, cheerful, and kind young boy, lacking the traits of an entitled spoiled brat. Considering how noble his parents were, it must've run in the family.
* StrongFamilyResemblance: He was a younger version of Arthur, only inheriting his mother's hair color.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Morgan Le Fay]]
!!Morgan Le Fay
The mother of Mordred, Gareth, Gaheris, Gawain, and Agravain. The older sister of Arthur, she made her appearance in Chapter 32.
----
* AlphaBitch: She is this to Guinevere when she visited Camelot by Arthur's request and is taking her sweet time talking down and mocking both her and Arthur.
* BadPeopleAbuseAnimals: Children, in this case, Lucius and possibly Mordred.
* FreudianExcuse: Once recognized as the proper daughter of Uther only to have been removed because of Arthur becoming King. Instead of killing her, she was banished from Camelot and became extremely resentful of both Arthur and Guinevere to the point of killing their only child to have Mordred secure the throne, setting into motion Camelot's fall.
* HeelFaceTurn: Once Camelot had fallen, she came to regret her actions to the point that she brought back Lucius with the use of the Holy Grail. She later returned him to Guinevere as she stated that now that Arthur had passed and Camelot had fallen, he could no longer be of any use.
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: She experienced this once the mess in Camelot became inevitable and the kingdom fell.
* WouldHurtAChild: Implies she is responsible for Lucius' death in the hopes that Mordred would take the throne.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:The Knights of the Round Table]]
!!The Knights of Camelot
----
!!Bedivere
----
* LongHairedPrettyBoy
* ParentalSubstitute: As seen in Chapter 32, ACT 2. He looks after Lucius and Guinevere encountered him when Lucius runs off.
