!!Party 1 (AKA Team Angst):

A gathering of mostly-serious adventurers, some mistrusted by the law, each with their own aspirations and goals in mind, but united for the common good. Just escaped the town of Gdonya with the lawmen hot on their tails, now roaming the open roads of the Lekhitian countryside.

[-Player: @/Spottedleaf-]\
[-Parent Franchise: Series/TheFlash2014-]

Once a brilliant scholar dedicated to the study of magic, Caitlin was kidnapped while traveling through the mountains of Hyperborea. Her captors threw her into a cave, intending for her to freeze to death. Instead, it inflicted her with a powerful curse, which granted her the ability to manipulate ice...but also stripped her body of its warmth, forcing her to feed on organic heat. Caitlin tracked her captors down and siphoned their heat, killing them. She began freezing more and more people in an attempt to sate this hunger until learning that the process could be done without killing the victim- by stealing tiny amounts of heat through physical contact. But by then, her reputation had spread, and despite her desire to make amends and her genuinely good heart, she's seen by most people as a murderer...
----
* TheAtoner: Her heat-sickness has previously led to several deaths, and because of this, she is a wanted woman. She is trying everything within her power to make amends.
* HorrorHunger: Caitlin is a "heat vampire", a condition which forces her to siphon warmth from other living creatures. Though she's learned to somewhat keep this sickness under control, it's led to her killing several people in the past.
* AnIcePerson: She was thrown into a cave with magical properties. It gave her the ability to manipulate ice, but also rendered her unable to produce her own body heat, forcing her to drain it from others in order to survive.
* MysticalWhiteHair: She's a sorceress with snowy white curls.
* PowerDyesYourHair: She mentions that prior to the accident that gave her her powers, her hair was brown.
* ReformedButRejected: Most people outside of her new found family don't really believe she's changed.
* TeamMom: She's very protective of her younger party members. Shoto has to remind himself that she isn't really his mom, given that she looks like his mother and they have a similar power set.

Once a Legate (equivalent of General) in the Cardassian Army and later the puppet ruler of the Cardassian people under the Dominion. Now, he's the leader of the Cardassian Liberation Front, seeking to free his people from Dominion rule. And gain as many powerful allies as possible in the process.
----
* DeadpanSnarker: Has his moments.
* DrowningMySorrows: More so in the past, as he was constantly reminded of his status as a Dominion puppet.
* GoodParents: Sent his son into hiding to protect him from Dominion agents, and was willing to endure a loveless marriage for his sake.
* TheGunslinger: Uses a Magitek pistol as his main weapon. Was able to incapacitate Kirito with it when he attacked Caitlin and Shoto.
* LaResistance: The leader of such a group - the Cardassian Liberation Front.
* PuppetKing: Was essentially this under the Dominion.
* TheStrategist: Usually is the one to plan out Team A's next course of action.
* TeamDad: Much like Caitlin, he also looks out for the younger members of the team, especially when they're in obvious distress, such as when Shoto arrives malnourished, or Usalia begins fidgeting due to a lack of curry.

A young kunoichi from Konohagakure, who became lost on a diplomatic mission involving her and several others from her clan venturing out into the world to make contact with other significant kingdoms and settlements. Hinata stumbled across the rest of Team A while fending for herself in the woods near Lekhitia, and has tentatively begun to settle herself in with the rest of the party in hopes that their company will eventually help her in getting home. Hinata has shown herself to be shy, gentle, and kindhearted by nature, though her village's (and clan's) practices have made her a dangerous fighter for her age despite her thoughts to the contrary. This combined with the mistreatment her clan has dealt to her have made her even more uncertain and wary, but a part of her hopes that her time with the party will bring about some new (and much wanted) changes in her.
----
* AuraVision: Her Byakugan allows her to perceive the flow of chakra and other supernatural energies in living beings; as is the purpose of her bloodline ability.
* TheClan: (Ex) heiress of the Hyūga clan; specifically the main branch. Compared to her, the rest of her family are much more cold and traditional in demeanour.
* CloseRangeCombatant: Her family's practices and her relatively low chakra reserves render Hinata a primarily hand-to-hand fighter (though by her family's standards she's severely lacking). While she also has the basic Academy jutsu down pat, this was more out of necessity to even become a ninja in the first place.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: Has been subject to emotional and some physical abuse at the hands of her family; pressured to become a more coldhearted and traditional Hyūga despite her sensitive tendencies. This eventually ended up with her losing in a battle with her own younger sibling and losing her title as heiress, which only ended up making the pressure even worse for her.
* HeiressToTheDojo: Originally. Hinata is the daughter of the head of the main branch in her clan, however her status as a ‘disappointment’ soon meant this title was passed onto her more promising younger sister instead.
* Honorifics: Due to her formal upbringing and polite nature, Hinata uses ‘-san’ and occasionally ‘-kun’ in conversation with her allies, despite technically speaking the local language.
* InadequateInheritor: Her lack of combat ability, timid nature, and reluctance to hurt others meant that her original privileges as heiress to her clan were soon revoked in favour of her sister Hanabi.
* LuminescentBlush: Her shy nature and poor self-confidence cause her to break out into profound flushes when given much attention or positive reinforcement. She has gone on record for practically inventing new shades of red in her embarrassment.
* ModestRoyalty: Despite her technically noble lineage, Hinata presents herself as a completely ordinary girl and hasn't managed to let herself fall into the more arrogant practices of some of her relatives.
* NiceGirl: Even though she's been raised as a ninja in a fairly unforgiving environment, Hinata has still retained her kind nature and shows an active dislike of any conflict or trouble in regards to the rest of the party.
* PressurePoint: Her family's traditional Gentle Fist style takes full advantage of these in regards to their opponents—to the point where they can severely damage the internal organs of their foes by injecting chakra straight into their systems so as to cause maximum damage.
* ProphetEyes: Her inherited Byakugan gives her blank white eyes even while it's dormant; giving her the (ironic) appearance of being blind. In truth, however, her eyes can perceive in an almost complete sphere around herself and can even see through opaque surfaces.
* TheQuietOne: Her timidity and lack of confidence means that even when she does speak it is usually at a volume comparable to a whisper. This is represented in-thread by shrunken text in her speech.
* ShrinkingViolet: A notable example, due to her somewhat isolated upbringing and lack of sufficient positive reinforcement. Still, Hinata would've been the shy sort regardless of the fact—her treatment at the hands of her family has only ended up exemplifying these traits.
* ShyFingerTwiddling: Pokes her forefingers together a lot as a prominent nervous tic.
* SilkHidingSteel: Even though she's the gentle sort and technically considered unskilled by her family, Hinata is a powerful fighter in her own right and is ultimately willing to fight if it's in behalf of her friends or if there's no other option.

A Yordle warrior as fearless as he is ornely, compared to most of the team's heroic motivations, he merely joined the team to merely claim more property for himself and kill some things along the way, and eventually, kick this group off his newfound property.

Well, except Matilda, she can stay.
----
* Angrish: Often devolves into this, usually when things don't go his way or he is beyond pissed off.
* AxCrazy: Very homicidal and completely off his rocker. The axe he wields helps too.
* BadassNormal: He may not have fire powers, super strength, telekinesis, or chakra control like most of his team, but he sure can swing that axe really damn well.
* HairTriggerTemper: It doesn't take much to piss off Kled.
* NoIndoorVoice: Oh boy. Kled has made his reputation on his team for being quite possibly the loudest and most profanity spewer of his team. He often does this while angered, which doesn't take much to anger him.
* MoralityPet: Matilda functions as this to Kled, as she is the only one who he really likes and helps him calm down, while he regards the others as temporal guests that must be kicked out.
* TokenEvilTeammate: While Team A has mostly heroic motivations and morals, Kled is merely there for the hell of it and to gain new property, prefers killing his targets and to be done with it, and it's very possible that without Matilda, he would likely threaten to kill someone on the team or attempt to.

[-Player: @/Skooter910-]\
[-Parent Franchise: Anime/MyHeroAcademia-]

A hero-to-be with control over fire and ice magic. He joined the team in the hopes of finding someone to remove the curse placed on him by his mom when he was young. His father, the second most powerful mage in their home country, only had him and his siblings in the hopes of creating a powerful successor, and abused both Shoto and his mother to the point that she snapped and attacked her son. This has left him very cold and bad with people, despite having a genuine desire to be a hero. When the curse, a transformation that is triggered by strong emotions turning him animalistic, was finally triggered, he attacked his father and ran away, eventually joining Caitlin and the others.
----
* AbusiveParents: Part of the reason Shoto ran away from home was due to his father's brutal training. That, and the curse that his mother placed on him when the abuse she was under caused her to snap and cast it on him.
* BigBrotherInstinct: Despite regarding most of the team rather coldly, Shoto quickly starts looking after Matilda and Hinata. He used some of his gold to buy Matilda (specifically for her despite the large group they were in) a room at an inn and watched over her when she seemed close to fainting. When he felt that Hinata was being bullied by C.C., he also made sure to stand in between the two.
* BrokenAce: Shoto had a lot of privileges, powerful magic, a very high-class family, and every chance to become a well-known and beloved hero. The abuse at the hands of his father and mother's curse has left him with a lot of issues.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: Not only did he go through the same abuse as in canon, but has the added bonus of a curse that causes him to go into an animalistic rage whenever he feels too many emotions.
* HatesTheirParent: Shoto's relationship with his father has deteriorated to the point that Shoto (under the effects of his curse) attacked Endeavor and ran away from home. Shoto even considers the idea that Endeavor has sent mercenaries after him while hiding the truth from the public to keep from admitting that he was beaten by his son in a fight.
* HeroicLineage: While the world itself is different, Shoto's home still highly values heroes, and his father is still only the second best.
* IWorkAlone: Shoto mentions several times that he doesn't need the rest of the group, but stays with them anyway. When Caitlin mentioned her concerns about him if they were separated, he responded that he could take care of himself.
* ModestRoyalty: A bit more literal here than in canon. Where originally Shoto's father was basically just a very popular celebrity, here, he's actually the ruler of a section of their home country. None of his team make any mention of suspecting him to be high-class, at least partially because he refuses to even talk about his family.
* MommasBoy: The similarities between Caitlin and Shoto's mom are enough to get him to follow her instructions better than most of the team. Whenever she asks him to follow her, he agrees (and complains that he doesn't need anyone to look after him). This is even more clearly demonstrated when a bunch of elves basically call his mom a whore, which immediately triggers his hulk-out.
* TheRunaway: After years of abuse and his curse causing him to attack his father, Shoto stole a horse and some money and ran away.
* ThouShaltNotKill: After freezing Moonbow up to her neck, he points out that he could easily kill her by freezing the rest of her head. Caitlin and a few others argue not to, which quickly annoys him because he was just trying to scare her into complying.
* TykeBomb: Just like in his original canon, Shoto's father intentionally married his mom in an attempt to create a worthy successor, then trained him mercilessly from a young age.

The Master Chief of the Spartan Order, otherwise known as John 117, is one of the most accomplished members of the Spartan Order that originated from the nation of Yuen-Ensi, having fought against the Covenant of the Forerunners, a religious fanatical cult, for over 20 years. Known for their efficiency, the Spartans would become the lynchpin of the stalemate that had occurred between Yuen-Ensi and the Covenant. However, there are rumours that Chief is now the only known Spartan to survive the Fall of Reach, one of Yuen-Ensi's most valued strongholds, and he only has the machine-spirit entrusted to him in the final days of this city to accompany him, until he meets the others...
----
* ArtificialIntelligence: Cortana is still with Chief here, much like his home series, but with the addendum of being described as a "machine-spirit" instead, due to the Magitek nature of his armour and weaponry here.
* BoringYetPractical: The spells and runes etched into Chief's armour are merely meant to help him out in the field, and not much else. They include an ability to enhance his aim, information on his weapons at all times, shields to shrug off incoming damage, and constant situational awareness.
* TheChosenMany: The Master Chief is one of over six dozen people chosen to become a Spartan in service to Yuen-Ensi. Other Spartans have been met by other characters throughout their service, but so far Chief is the only one to receive focus as Team A's resident Spartan.
* TheFace: Cortana is usually far more sociable then Chief, so if need be, she can manifest herself outside of Chief's armour to talk to other people.
* HandCannon: His secondary armament is a heavy pistol called the Magnum, a weapon designed to fire high-explosive semi-armour piercing rounds, and has decent enough power to shoot at medium-to-high ranges.
* MoreDakka: Chief is probably the only character in Team A or otherwise to have a fully-automatic weapon in the form of his assault rifle.
* MythologyGag: When discussing what could have created a massive pillar of fire seen around for miles, Chief remarks that it could have been caused by "someone trying to give them back their bomb." This is exactly what his canon self asks Lord Hood permission to do in VideoGame/Halo2, to give the Covenant back their bomb.
* TheOrder: The Spartan Order that Master Chief was recruited into had the express duty of defending Yuen-Ensi from all internal and external threats that the standard army could not take on. When the Covenant first encroached Yuen-Ensi's borders, they were immediately put to task on fighting back the invaders.
* OldSoldier: He's been fighting the Covenant for over 20 years, and he's still going strong.
* OurSpiritsAreDifferent: Master Chief's only companion, Cortana, is described as a machine-spirit, a possibly artificially created spirit that usually stays inside Chief's armour, and has the ability to access a wealth of information to help Chief out. Because of her artificial status, it's implied that she can only work with Magitek like Chief's armour.
* PapaWolf: He shows some shade of this when he tells Bardock to back off from Karre.
* PoweredArmour: His Magitek armour, while still called the Mjolnir Armour, is capable of shrugging off significant damage with its DeflectorShields, and has helped enhance Chief's strength even further than his augmentations would allow. It's also equipped with a number of tactical spells that help him out in the field.
* TheStoic: His default state is to approach things calmly.
* SuperSoldier: The Master Chief was chosen and augmented into one of the chosen warriors of the Spartan Order, and as such is capable of feats that are otherwise superhuman.
* YouAreNumberSix: Played with, in that his technical "last name" is 117, but his given name is still John.

Emi Sendou is a young girl that was originally seeking to bring her brother, Aichi, home after he ran away. However, she had an interesting encounter with a mysterious Card Fairy named Shuka, and she told Emi that the timeline had been altered. Uncertain, but willing to help, Emi made a contract with Shuka, becoming a magical girl duo known as the Blaster Pair with her, and now seek to return a certain card known as Blaster Blade back to where it belongs.

----
* FairyCompanion: Shuka helps out Emi by granting Emi her powers and fighting alongside her! However, she isn't a tiny fairy, she's around Emi's height.
* ImaginationBasedSuperpower: It takes someone with a strong imagination to be able to Realize units, and Emi's imagination is actually powerful enough to work together with Shuka to do so! Together, the two form a temporary body for the souls the cards are connected to.
* IWillFindYou: Emi's original goal before Shuka found her. She was originally just trying to find her missing big brother, Aichi.
* MagicalGirlWarrior: Emi and Shuka are both traveling magical girls that fight against enemies on their journey to fix the timeline.
* MagicStaff: Emi wields the Blaster Rod while she's transformed. It's what Realizes the Vanguard units!
* OurFairiesAreDifferent: Shuka is a Card Fairy, which are magical fairies that steal Vanguard cards from people that no longer care about their cards. They seem to be similar to humans, except they have slit pupils and can manifest wings whenever they want to.
* RedOniBlueOni: Emi is the Blue Oni to Shuka's Red Oni, being more reserved, calm, and careful than Shuka's more passionate and fiery energy.
* SummonMagic: Emi has the ability Realize Vanguard units while transformed, with Shuka's help.
* SweetTooth: Emi and Shuka love tasty desserts and buy them together in nearly every single town they visit.

One of Dream Land's heroes; he is a determined, if not a serious knight who flew until he reached the Beauregard Manor's doors to seek aid.

The reason why he's so far from Dream Land is that the artifact responsible for the land's dreams, the Star Rod, has been stolen by someone far from its borders that no one knows about, forcing him to investigate outside Dream Land while his three friends stay behind to keep Dream Land safe.
----
* BloodKnight: Meta Knight enjoys being in a fight, mainly for honing out his skills and becoming stronger, but he can redirect this instinct to focus on fighting for reasonable causes and repress its unreasonable side unless it is exploited.
* CapeWings: His Dimensional Cape, when not doubling as an unusual BagOfHolding, can smoothly transform into a pair of bat wings to grant him flight.
* Determinator: He takes seriously his goal of finding the Star Rod and taking it back to his home. Whether he finds help in the form of allies or clues, he refuses to rest until he's a step closer to his home's peace being restored.
* DarkIsNotEvil: Appears cold, and looks and sounds scary/threatening, appropriately combining with his abilities (unless his mask is knocked out). Otherwise, he's a well-intentioned and honorable knight who just wants to take back and return an important artifact from the land he lives in and protects.
* DeadpanSnarker: The farthest his sense of humor usually goes is dry remarks about the situation he's stuck at.
* MythologyGag: As a nod to both instances where he received a voice, during his debut when he explains why he came to the Beauregard Manor, it's noted by narration that his voice is unusually deep for his size and that it has an accent.
* MasterSwordsman: Meta Knight uses his Galaxia in battle with fierce skill.
* MyCountryTisOfTheeThatISting: Although he grew out of wanting to take over Dream Land because of its laziness a long time ago, he can't help but snarkily point out how its inhabitants depend on a good night's sleep.
* TornadoMove: The Mach Tornado; here it is the move where he spins like a tornado before landing and planting his sword on the ground.

* DeadpanSnarker: Nia's known for her sharp tongue and her cynical nature.
* FlamingSword: Pyra's Aegis Sword has a blade made of pure fire magic.
* LivingWeapon: As a Blade, Pyra is by nature a sentient sword given a human form.
* NiceGirl: Contrasting with Nia, Pyra is sweet and friendly.

* EvilSorcerer: Natch. His GOAL may be sympathetic, but his methods are... questionable at best.
* FallenHero: Was once a champion of the Thousand Sons, revered throughout Prospero. Nowadays, he's feared as a ruthless mage, responsible for numerous misdeeds.

At first, Jake Long appears to be your average cocky teenager, but in reality, he is a fire-breathing dragon with the task of being a magical guardian of the world, along with being the representative dragon of the United Settlements of Atlantis, the Atlantean Dragon. He has been tasked by the Dragon Council to leave his home of New Oak and roam the lands of Atlantis, in order to learn about the land he will protect, the magical beings he must protect or defend other races from if they are hostile, and lend a helping aid when he can. He joined Team B hitching a ride from them so he could lend aid to Starling Village as the Atlantean Dragon, not realizing the huge ball of insanity they are and that he will experience weird things in his travels with them...
----
* AnimeHair: Jake's green hair color and it's spiky appearance is due to a large amounts of hair cream and jelly oil he uses.
* BreathWeapon: As one would expect from a dragon, Jake can let out huge amounts of fire from his mouth, whenever in his human form or dragon form.
* TheChosenOne: Jake is fated to be the Atlantean Dragon, as he will be the representative dragon of the USA. Though still in training, he still has the responsibilities and authority of protecting the magical world.
* DelightfulDragon: Jake is usually a rather friendly and approachable dragon himself, unless you are a force of evil, in which case he won't hesitate to take you down.
* SecretIdentity: Jake makes sure to keep his identity as a dragon a secret to most people that aren't fellow dragons, magical creatures or evil monsters. While he is trying to hide to team B that he is a dragon, Jibril, Ahriman and Leah managed to find out about it.
* SelfDuplication: Jake is able to create doppelgangers by using his chi. He used this ability to trick most of Team B so that they don't think the dragon aiding them against the dust demon is him.
* TokenGoodTeammate: Within the craziness and moral ambiguity of most of Team B, Jake sticks out like a sore thumb.
-->Tetra: That bleeding heart will get you killed, kid.
* YouHaveGOTToBeKiddingMe: Already annoyed by the fact that Ahriman and Jibril could tell something was up with him by noticing the magical essences flowing with him, Leah being able to tell that him and his doppelganger smelled the same made him wonder why was he stuck with people who could notice what he is easily.

* ConstantlyCurious

* InsaneTrollLogic: Her way of trying to learn the folly of making a demonic pact? Offer to make one herself and learn from the experience!
* OurAngelsAreDifferent

[-Player: @/Skooter910-]\
[-Parent Franchise: VideoGame/Hades-]

The god of blood and son of Hades, Zagreus has been spending perhaps centuries trying to fight his way out of the Underworld. He joined Team B after Jibril's sister, Azril, dragged him out of the Underworld to try and kill him permanently and lost interest after noticing her sister in the Chaos Realm. Without any way to return to the Underworld as far as he knows, he decided to follow the team.
----
* AllLovingHero: Despite Azril trying (and succeeding) in killing him, Zagreus spent a good portion of their fight trying to get her to just talk politely to him. When she reacted with confusion at the very notion of talking to him like an equal, he explained his preference to be polite even to those a god like him should consider beneath himself.
* BackFromTheDead: Zagreus's introduction to the game is repeatedly being killed by Azril and it just not sticking. Even she is bewildered by this ability of his to just not permanently die.
* BloodMagic: An element from the game brought along with Zagreus is his bloodstones, large gems that he creates out of his blood to hit enemies with. They didn't really affect Azril much when he threw one at her.
* ComebackMechanic: Before dying compltely, Zagreus has an ability called 'stubborn defiance' which allows him to shrug off death once per fight.
* DarkIsNotEvil: A god of the Underworld, dressed entirely in dark red and black with skeletons adorning his tunic, along with one red eye with black scelera. By all appearances, Zagreus would make a good villain. When he opens his mouth, however, he proves to be polite and affable, even trying to introduce himself to the creature trying to repeatedly kill him
* DeadpanSnarker: While not in the best situations to demonstrate this side of himself due to fear and confusion taking precedence, Zagreus has demonstrated his tendency to snark at others quite a bit.
* DesperatelyLookingForAPurposeInLife: Spending centuries doing nothing but trying and failing to escape the Underworld hasn't given Zagreus much to latch onto. It's part of why he didn't think twice about joining the team upon meeting them.
* TheDeterminator: Nothing can keep Zagreus down for long. Azril comments that even his very soul is too stubborn to just die when clearly outclassed.
* TheDreaded: An unintentional side-effect of Zagreus's escape attempts is the fact that every shade in the Underworld is terrified of him.
* EpicFail: For all his effort, Zagreus's attempts at defending himself from Azril barely even register. It's only his soul's stubborn refusal to be destroyed that stops her from absorbing his ether.
* HatesTheirParent: Though it was quickly interrupted, Zagreus's conversation immediately after joining the game is very bitter on both sides.
* LoserDeity: The only thing about Zagreus that impresses Azril is his soul's stubbornness and unwillingness to die. When he politely asks her to introduce herself, it seems to simply confuse her as to why she would waste her time speaking to someone so below her, which he never attempts to refute.
* ModestRoyalty: While Zagreus dresses the part of the prince of the Underworld, his actions are another thing entirely. Polite and cheerful, he makes it hard for anyone to assume he's more than just a nice guy.
* ObliviouslyBeautiful: When entering Mollymauk's section of Chaos (a debauched party full of gorgeous people), the doorman mentions that Molly will be excited to see Zagreus. Zag can only wonder what that could be referring to.
* RebelPrince: It wasn't the way he wanted to escape, but Azril actually did Zagreus a favor by dragging him off to kill him. Without the Underworld dragging him back down, Zag appreciates the opportunity to explore the Surface without dealing with Hades.
* SadClown: Azril's constant attempts at killing him do not stop Zagreus from making jokes and snarking at her, though he does falter on occasion.
* ShelteredAristocrat: As sheltered as one can be, given that Zagreus has never set foot outside of the Underworld before. His first thought upon being brought to the Chaos Realm is to wonder if it's the Surface.

A precocious pirate captain who was one of the first to offer her services to Columbia Christie. Only keeping on the team because of the promise of a reward- and not out of any fondness towards Christie and a select few members- Tetra is doing her best to keep everything on the rails, and is none-too-happy with the team derailing things at every possible turn.
----
* TheCaptain: She's been serving as the captain to her pirate crew since she was very young. When Team B forms, she naturally takes it upon herself to serve in a leadership position.
* DarkerAndEdgier: Unlike her source material, Tetra is no longer bound by an "E for Everyone" rating and the writing reflects as such. As the captain of a pirate crew, she's no stranger to alcohol, murder, or foul language.
* DeadpanSnarker: She has a silver tongue that serves her well while trying to corral the rest of Team B. She often engages with SnarkToSnarkCombat with the equally snippety Mollymauk.
-->Mollymauk: Has anyone lost this child? We have a child, a small child, if you can't find your small child, they are here! Small, lost child. Somebody better pick them up, because I hear they make lost children work at the docks.\
Tetra: You'd best be careful yourself, sir. I hear they take funny little demonspawn like yourself and make them wear jester hats to prance around the streets in.
* DeliberatelyCuteChild: Though she's much more mature than her age would suggest, Tetra isn't above acting her age to get what she wants. She pretends to be nothing more than a curious little kid when investigating the Gdonya pawn shop alongside her "aunt" Akane.
* Greed: Tetra loves to line her pockets with gold, and there's many times throughout the story where she eyes trinkets greedily and has to resist the urge to pick some pockets.
* HypocriticalHumour: She treats Alice and Jake like kids, even though she's not only a kid herself, but younger than them.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: She doesn't suffer fools and is sharp-tongued towards a lot of Team B. However, she's much nicer to her employer and to kids her age, and when Mollymauk- the member of the team she bickered with the most- was swallowed by a dimensional portal, she was the first to demand that they rescue him ASAP.
* MakingASplash: Her flintlock is magical and shoots balls of highly-pressurised water. Not only is it an effective weapon, but it serves her well in mundane usage, such as when Ahriman set the pawn shop's door ablaze and she put it out with equal swiftness.
* TheNapoleon: The only thing shorter than her patience for Team B's shenanigans is her actual height. Being one of the youngest in the team and from a game with a chibi-fied artstyle means she's short even compared to the other kids.
* NotSoAboveItAll: Mollymauk manages to draw out her childish curiosity by giving her a tarot reading, though she's quick to snap and act like the whole thing's not a big deal.
* OnlySaneWoman: Along with Leah, Tetra not only balks at the team's constant craziness, but consistently calls it out for what it is. Considering she's a pre-teen pirate captain, that says a lot about how weird the rest of the group are.
* SwordAndGun: In her right hand she wields a cutlass befitting a pirate. In her left she holds a magical flintlock, shooting not bullets but compressed balls of water. As shown when Jibril, Sips and Sneeze all join the party, she's capable of wielding both at the same time.
* WiseBeyondTheirYears: She acts and thinks much older than the pre-teen that she is, a result of her taking over the job of pirate leader at a very young age. Not only does she take command of Team B, a role she's generally effective at, but she's a quick thinker who has some skill in reading people.

She is actually a Nightmaren, a living nightmare monster meant to help her creator, Wizeman the Wicked, reach the physical world to conquer it. However, they rebelled against their purpose shortly after finding out what'd happen if Wizeman succeeded.
----
* AlienBlood: [=NiGHTS=]' blood is pink and has goo-like consistency.
* AdaptationalAngstUpgrade: While the effects of rebelling against Nightmare and the emotional consequences she suffered were unmentioned in VideoGame/NightsIntoDreams, and were scarcely touched in VideoGame/NightsJourneyOfDreams, here (as part of the AdaptationExpansion of her backstory) the mental scars are more pronounced, starting by her perpetually pushing down the constant dread of being forced to go back to Nightmare.
* AdaptationalGenderIdentity: Canonically, [=NiGHTS=] is nonbinary/of AmbiguousGender, with some instances of using masculine pronouns (especially in the English localization). Here, it's the inverse, with them interchangeably using neutral and feminine pronouns.
* BerserkButton: [=NiGHTS=] can easily toss her affableness out of the window when someone mentions the words "order" and "lawful". Being bossed with orders she hates following or being podded of freedom/fun are also ways to get into [=NiGHTS=]' nerves.
* CheshireCatGrin: An expression [=NiGHTS=] likes to pull quite often.
* DarkSecret: The fact that they are an Nightmaren that did destroy the dreams of many people even if it was under Wizeman's threats and abuse. They try to keep the fact as hidden and undiscussed as possible without lying, even shutting themselves up if they get close to blowing the secret, all due to hating the idea of being abandoned by their new, significantly more supportive friends or worse - going back to serving Wizeman.
* Flight: [=NiGHTS=]' main power. They can fly with grace and the ease of a swimming fish.
* HeelFaceTurn: Before meeting Team B, she did one against Wizeman, and was put under an exile for her troubles.
* ImmortalImmaturity: She is apparently one millennium old, but OOCIsSeriousBusiness normally has the attitude, energy, and behavior of a young kid, like worrying about having fun and keeping it, being extremely cheerful and gullible unless if she's pissed off or things are serious, and being overly curious about new things.
* MonsterClown: What [=NiGHTS=] truly is, being a Nightmaren. Subverted considering their (usually) benevolent personality.
* TheNicknamer: Subverted in the cases she learns the target's actual names, but [=NiGHTS=] has this tendency. For example, reffering to physical beings as "Visitors", and calling Jibril and Ahriman respectively "Pinky" and "Mr. Six Horns" before learning of their actual names.
* OrderIsNotGood: [=NiGHTS=] is a firm believer in this philosophy, thanks to their experience with Wizeman the Wicked.
* RageBreakingPoint: During the confrontation with Kaldor Draigo, [=NiGHTS=] is initially just annoyed the grey knight with Shakespearean accent is blocking the way of the group and is willing to just be a dignity-ruining prankster... until he mentions the word that goes against the jester's very own nature: order. Then [=NiGHTS=] goes on a rant showing indignation for anyone following order (...which turns out to be Kaldor's own last straw against the group).
-->"Seriously? Order...? Order?! That is what you like to spread and follow?! Order is the worst concept ever! It's just a thing invented to restrict people from being themselves and having fun, and make everyone equally boring and STUPID!"
* SpinAttack: The Drill Dash, where [=NiGHTS=] spins like a drill, which also accelerates the flight speed.
* SadClown: Implied. [=NiGHTS=] is introduced as a mischievous, childish but ultimately brave and good-hearted jester, but in their thoughts, they try to push away the idea of "they" (possibly the Nightmarens and Wizeman) going after them and reacts strangely when referred to as a Nightmaren, claiming that they are nothing but monsters.
* ShapeshiftingTrickster: [=NiGHTS=] can shapeshift with ease into anything she wants, although she keeps the same red diamond-shaped jewel on the chest and the same color scheme in all forms. She prefers to use it in her mischief but can use it for practical purposes too.
* MsViceGirl: Is mischievous, unwilling to listen to rules and orders, and childish (at least when things are not serious enough), but not without a heart.
* SwirlyEnergyThingy: The Paraloops, colorful vortex-like portals that [=NiGHTS=] can summon by flying in a circle. They are capable of sucking anything to an unknown fate.
* ScaryTeeth: Has a wide ray of these, which contrasts with her general appearance.
* TraumaButton: A bloodthirsty dog that eats anything in sight pouncing directly towards [=NiGHTS=] reminds her of one of the times she was sent to Nightmaren!Hellhound Cerberus as punishment for failure. It sends her into a panicked frenzy as she aimlessly flies and begs in screams to get out of Nightmare, which lasts for minutes before she calms down and remembers she's not there anymore.
* WhiteSheep: Is the only known Nightmaren that developed heroic traits.

* HumbleHero: Alabama doesn't see her or her sisters as anything too special.
* BornAsAnAdult: Alabama like all examples of her subtype of her race came into being as an adult.
* WalkingArmory: While chasing a vampire that attacked the group she was a part of Alabam grew frustrated at his agility and fired her cannons ahead of him to put him on the back foot and allow Leah to catch up to him.

* FantasticRacism: Ilulu is infamous even among Chaos Dragons for her sheer fanatical hatred of humans. She demonstrated this upon her introduction, trusting Raz when she thought he was an "imp" but immediately became furious upon discovering he was actually human.
* PsychopathicManchild: Well, womanchild. Ilulu acts extremely childishly but has a terrifyingly violent streak and enough power to level a city with a single breath.
* Really700YearsOld: Ilulu claims to be “16” and her human disguise appears to be that of a young woman, but she is in actuality a several-thousand-year old dragon, causing her to call the actually-teenaged Jake and Spyro “hatchlings.”

* AnimalMotifs: Cats are this for Eve, having shinpads modelled after a cat's face, while also wearing a massive prosthetic modelled after a giant cat's paw.
* BadassBookworm: Jason started out as an Atlantean scholar-smith, and after finding the original Sophia III and the suit that it carried, he proceeded to carve through at least a hindered Invem before finding Eve.

A 14-year-old boy with psychic powers intrinsically linked to his emotions. Extreme stress or emotional turmoil can cause his psychic powers to act haywire, or charge them to world-shattering effects. Because of this, he tries to keep his emotions under control, and he has adopted a personal philosophy of never using his powers to achieve an advantage over other people. Socially awkward and possessing an expressionless face, Mob would prefer a simpler life of honest hard work than being a demon-fighting hero, but his good-willed nature means that he often can't resist the call to help others who genuinely need it. His plain demeanour and monotonous voice often cause him to be overlooked at first by others, but his inability to prevent his tumultuous emotions from eventually leaking out and going wild usually grants him some unwanted notice once he reaches his limits.
----
* AfraidofTheirOwnStrength: After his first ??? explosion, Mob stopped viewing his powers as a neat trick that lost their novelty and started seeing them as outright monstrous.
* AlternateCharacterReading: The characters in his given name, Shigeo (茂夫), can also be read as "Mobu", hence his nickname.
* AnimeHair: His hair is normally an ordinary-looking bowl cut, but it becomes wild and spiky at 100% power. Justified in that it seems to be his own power aura lifting his hair.
* AngstNuke: Thanks to his volatile powers, his emotional explosions are often very literal.
* AstralProjection: Has the ability to psychically project his soul from his body, allowing him to act like a ghost and even enter other people's bodies. This leaves his own body lifeless and vulnerable, however.
* AthleticallyChallenged: Due to relying one his psychic powers, he is very physically weak. He's working to rectify this, but it's taking a lot of time and effort to develop himself towards a level of fitness appropriate for his age.
* AxCrazy: Mob at least appears to be fairly stoic under normal circumstances. When he does go off emotionally, he is often surprisingly conscious of the people around him, reserving the force of his explosions for whoever or whatever has actually set them off. In some cases, however, he isn't in control: most prominently in regards to ???, who is no longer definable as the Mob we know.
* BerserkButton: Anything that threatens his happiness causes ??? to rear its ugly head eventually.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: He's as humble and gentle as anyone can be right up until he hits the end of his CatastrophicCountdown.
* BookDumb: Despite his phenomenal psychic powers, none of it helps Mob with his tuition or ability to understand more academic concepts.
* BrokenAce: He could easily become one of the most powerful psychics in the world if he focused on his powers, but he doesn't really enjoy using any of that power, and would happily trade it for the ability to read the room, be more book smart, or be better at talking to girls. He constantly represses his emotions out of fear of causing a catastrophe, and suffers from trauma related to that very event occurring during his youth.
* BrutalHonesty: While kind and soft-spoken, he also voices his opinions very bluntly and doesn't try to spare feelings if he has a bone to pick with someone. This gets more exaggerated when he's at 100%, especially Rage or Animosity.
* CatastrophicCountdown: When Mob experiences spikes in his emotions, it is represented by a numbered percentage going from 0% to 100% in his posts. Depending on the emotion that tips the scales, however, it's not always catastrophic.
* Chuunibyou: Inverted; he legitimately has incredible strong Psychic Powers, but he doesn't see them as a big deal, both because of his desire to improve in more mundane areas of life (like physical fitness and social interactions) and because he's internalized the philosophy that having powers doesn't automatically make him better or more special than everyone else.
* CreepyChild: While he is one of the nicest kids you'll ever meet, when his power lashes out, he turns into a horrifying force of psychic power in the body of a child. It doesn't help that even when he is genuinely enraged, he doesn't entirely lose his quiet and polite demeanor, which leads to cold and hate-filled TranquilFury far more eerie and disquieting than any screaming fit of rage would be.
* CrouchingMoronHiddenBadass: Downplayed. Mob is by no means a moron, but he isn't an excellent student and can be quite naive and unskilled when it comes to social situations despite being quite mature for his age. However, he has very strong psychic abilities that can turn the tide of a fight if they're released.
* DelicateAndSickly: He has chronic anemia and often passes out during strenuous physical activity. As his fitness improves, however, this is affecting him less and less, though his psychic powers also sometimes cause him to black out from excess stress on his body and mind.
* DullSurprise: Unless he's at 100%, his minimal facial expressions tend towards this. He tends to have limited emotional expression in everyday life, too.
* EmotionalPowers: The more stressed Mob becomes, the closer his explosion counter gets towards 100%. His powers are completely tied to his emotions, and in fact seemed to be fuelled by or even formed by his emotions at the time.
* EmotionSuppression: The original cause of how he came to be as deadpan and emotionally flat as he is, shackling his feelings after his little brother got caught in the blast zone of the first ever ??? emergence.
* TheEmpath: He's able to feel the emotional content of the spiritual energy he absorbs (which some opponents, such as evil spirits or other psychics, freely throw at him during their assaults). Of course, since his regular social and mood-reading skills are rather subpar, this often leads to him cluelessly commenting on their deepest insecurities mid-battle.
* EnergyAbsorption: His ??? persona has the ability to absorb and redirect energy to an unknown extent. Some 100% states also grant Mob limited access to his power, but otherwise he doesn't even know how to harness it willingly yet.
* ForgettableCharacter: Mob lacks presence so much that he is often overlooked even by his allies, even to the extent that they'll forget he's even there sometimes. This changes significantly while he's in a 100% state, however.
* TheFettered: Thanks to some choice words his mentor gave him when he was younger, Mob has been able to hold back on his psychic abilities responsibly and reasonably maturely. It comes around to seeing his powers as "knives"—he shouldn't be pointing them at anybody for no good reason. This also extends to his emotional repression, as if he ever truly lets himself go, he could become dangerous to everyone around him.
* FullContactMagic: A good sign Mob is losing control of himself is when he stops letting the PowersDoTheFighting and gets up close and personal.
* AGodIAmNot: Mob's mentor instilled in him the philosophy that being an esper doesn't make him better than other people, and as a result Mob tends to deflect all praise that could be put towards his psychic powers. His ??? persona contrastingly hasn't internalised this philosophy.
* GreenThumb: Has learned to infuse his psychic energy into plantlife in order to manipulate how it grows, even to the point of weaponising plants if need be. He still respects plants as a precious form of life, however, so it's not his first instinct.
* HeroicNeutral: Since Mob doesn't perceive himself as being particularly heroic or above anyone else, he has repeatedly dismissed the CallToAdventure in his past because he'd rather work at keeping his PsychoactivePowers from running wild. Now that he's joined Team B, however, he's starting to accept that these kinds of adventures are inevitable around them, and he wants to at least try helping people if he ends up having to use his powers anyway.
* HumanoidAbomination: Under the influence of his ??? persona, Mob effectively becomes this with the full release of his raw psychic power. This is further cemented with the fact that ??? has a separate consciousness of its own that is dedicated to Mob's well-being and happiness, since it only manifests when he's knocked out while in danger or heavily injured to the point of potential death. In either case, ??? takes the wheel in his stead for the duration that he's indisposed, and may even lock Mob away into his own subconscious to protect him while ??? goes on a rampage outside of his control.
* IJustWantToBeNormal: Though he willingly uses his powers to exorcise evil spirits or help people out who need it, Mob doesn't really see the big deal in being a psychic, since he hasn't really developed any other crucial skills needed to be a well-rounded person outside of his powers. In this sense, he envies people with balanced and happy lives even if they lack any special powers of their own.
* IJustWantToHaveFriends: Aside from wanting to be normal, Mob's biggest goal in life is to be able to connect with other people.
* KubrickStare: Mob's default expression. Becomes a DeathGlare when he actually means it.
* MartialPacifist: Hates fighting other humans, and will avoid it when at all possible; but push him too far or exhaust his other options, and he will show just how dangerous his powers can be.
* MeaningfulName:
** His nickname, "Mob" (モブ), is derived from "Mob Character," a Japanese term for a background character or NPC. Shigeo has a rather plain appearance befitting of such a character and tends to have a minimal sense of presence, suppressing his emotions and trying to live like a common person despite being placed in situations where he cannot afford to be. It doubles also as an AlternateCharacterReading, as his given name Shigeo (茂夫) can be read as "Mobu."
** His surname can also be seen as meaningful. "Kageyama" literally translates to "shadow mountain," which could be a reference to how his psychic "shadow" in the spiritual world is like a mountain in scale when unsuppressed.
** The first character in Mob's given name, 茂, means 'to grow lushly' or 'to be in full leaf', which befits his ability to manipulate plants.
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone Mob and his little brother Ritsu were once mugged by high-schoolers, who knocked Mob unconscious by shoving him into a wall. When Mob woke up, all of them, including Ritsu, were heavily injured. This is what caused him to start rejecting his powers and later meet his mentor Reigen for guidance.
* NiceGuy: Very kind and forgiving. He carried Ilulu's shopping without complaint despite finding it tedious, tried to talk down a potential fight in a tavern before it even happened, and once he finally exploded, immediately broke down crying in shame over causing a scene and scaring some of his allies.
* NoSenseOfHumor: His suppressed emotions and inability to read the room often cause him to misinterpret or just miss jokes entirely.
* PersonOfMassDestruction: If Mob's psychic powers flare up, there might be some collateral battle damage, but if ??? shows up, it gets far, far worse.
* PowerIncontinence: While unconscious, Mob's power becomes incomprehensible, and completely out of control. Thankfully, this doesn't seem to apply when he's only asleep, instead only becoming a problem if he was under extreme stress (such as a fight or traumatic event) right before losing consciousness.
* PowerStrainBlackout: Overusing his powers can take a toll on his already weak constitution, and his emotional explosions are often followed up by fainting spells, temporary paralysis, or a compromised immune system.
* PsychicPowers: He's very proficient in telekinesis even when physically exhausted, can make powerful psychic barriers to protect himself and others, and can shape his psychic energy into a variety of techniques depending on his emotional state.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: Mob's natural eye color is a deep reddish-brown. When he hits some of his explosions, like 100% Rage or 100% Animosity, they start glowing a vibrant and menacing red.
* RepressionNeverEndsWell: As can be seen from his explosions. By extension of this, ??? isn't some separate eldritch entity sleeping within him, but simply the repressed feelings and base impulses he's too ashamed to acknowledge, even outside of his own awareness.
* SecretlySelfish: Like most of his emotions, Mob tends to suppress his more selfish and uncharitable impulses—so much so that said impulses have become their own entity in the form of ???, who considers Mob little more than a fake shell that has outlived its usefulness.
* ShrinkingViolet: Comes across as quite shy and self-conscious, even when he's in his suppressed state.
* SquishyWizard: While incredibly strong in terms of pure psychic ability, he's incredibly out of shape. If his powers are suppressed or somehow removed, he'd be much weaker than even other kids his age.
* SuperpoweredEvilSide: ???. It comes out when Mob is unconscious, and is not only a separate entity from Mob, but is also far more destructive. It at least isn't actively malicious, just completely unrestrained in its power use unlike Mob.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: His favorite food is takoyaki and his favorite drink is milk.
* TranquilFury: Even at 100% Rage or 100% Animosity, the only outward sign he's angry is a DeathGlare. That, and the way collateral damage starts to accumulate around him.
* UnconsciousObjector: Mob is able to keep fighting even when knocked out thanks to ???s presence, and he's absolutely terrified of what could happen when he loses control like that. Even if Mob's physical body is obliterated, ??? gets unleashed fully. ??? has thoughts and a personality of its own, though based on an earlier form of Mob's own personality, from around the time when Mob's powers acted out violently when he and his brother were being attacked by muggers. Because of this, it has its own separate consciousness and willpower, along with full access to Mob's original wellspring of power—even being able to override his own access to it as the 'original' Shigeo.
* UsedToBeMoreSocial: He was a lot more expressive and social as a small child. Then the accident with ??? happened, leading him to emotionally shut down and isolate himself.
* WarriorTherapist: Mob has a habit of emotionally and philosophically dissecting his opponents as he's fighting, to various effects.
* WouldntHitAGirl: A lesson Reigen taught him, and one that he's taken to heart. He notably didn't apply it to his brief attack against the murderous Mantis Lord, but this is probably because he didn't even realise she was a girl at the time—or considered her an evil spirit exempt from this particular moral.
