!!Matoo Anzasi

[floatboxright:
'''Age:''' 21\
'''Height:''' Unknown\
'''Date of Birth''': Unknown\
'''Race''': Human (?)]
Matoo appears exclusively in "The Tomorrow Breed'' continuity created by Jose Victor Guerrero, aka Civasco, and he is one of the few human characters that appears in the comic.

Matoo is a SuperSoldier with PsychicPowers created by the Zorion Empire with the sole purpose of helping its homeland to conquer the universe, but as a result of those powers, he managed to meet Thea Mitsel-eman, Liska's eldest daughter, [[GirlOfMyDreams in his own dreams]]. After he and his family deserted from the Zorion Empire, they ended in the planet Katmandu, when he had the chance to physically meet Thea in person after saving her from being attacked by lizards when he and his elder sister Tusi when they were passing through the Highland tribe. After mutually falling in love to each other, they get married and had children, despite both being of different species.

For obvious reasons, Liska and Shaygin weren't happy at first to having their daughter marrying with a human, but Matoo show them he is also a good hunter and warrior too, thanks to his military backgrounds. Unfortunately for him, Thea, the entire planet Katmandu, and the whole universe, the Zorion Empire seems to have many plans for him, and they want both him and his new family for their own nefarious ends.

For all practical effects, he is basically the main protagonist of the story, along with Thea, her mother Liska, and, [[Creator/SteveGallacci hadn't the author]] [[WhatCouldHaveBeen rejected the idea]], with [[ComicBook/AlbedoErmaFelnaEDF Erma Felna]], as the narrative spins much about him and his relationship with the former, her mother-in-law, and his children, especially with his eldest daughter, Thea Jr.
----
* AncientAstronauts: Since he appeared during Liska's era, he qualifies as this, with the additional twist he hails from a future-era ''Earth''.
* CanonForeigner: Not only he is non-canonical for the original continuity, his sole existence contradicts Thea's own story, since she was destined to end with Giles, not with him.
* {{Expy}}: As a result of Civasco's ArtEvolution, in the most recent pics depicting him, he looks like a younger [[Anime/SuperDimensionFortressMacross Roy]] [[Anime/{{Robotech}} Focker]], up to having a relationship with someone with dark skin, or fur in this case (Thea with Matoo here, and Roy with Claudia in ''Macross/Robotech'')
* MightyWhitey: Sort of. While technically Matoo isn't entirely human per se, physically he looks like a white man, living along with Native American-looking aliens, and becaming one of their strongest warriors, due to his military training.
* PartsUnknown: While we know he is from Earth, we don't know from which country he and his family hails from, assuming that ''any'' RealLife country still exist in his time, and even more so considering he was technically genetically engineered since birth, other than he and his family look like Western-looking people. On the other hand, he and his family are named with names from the Myth/MesopotamianMythology, which hails from the Middle East, but they look western-like.
* RescueRomance: The way how he did meet Thea, as he and his sister Tusi saved both Thea and her uncle Markree from attacking lizards when the latter two were busy picking corn, and Matoo and Tusi were also attacked by the lizards as well when they were passing through the area.
* SpannerInTheWorks: In the large scale of things, he is the giant spanner that completely reshapes the whole continuity of both ''Katmandu'' and ''ComicBook/AlbedoErmaFelnaEDF'' due to his abilities, since his existence prevents the canonical tragic fates of both [[spoiler:Liska[[note]]Dying in combat at the hands of Rakon's tribe.[[/note]] and Erma[[note]]Losing her family, and both the EDF and the ILR destroying themselves after her death.[[/note]], the protagonists of both stories]], allowing them to have happier lives with their families at the end of the side-story.
* TokenHuman: Matoo, along with his family, are the only human character that shares some spotlight with the rest of the anthro cast.

!The Zorion Empire
TheEmpire from which the Anzasi family cames from and the current rulers from both Earth and the entire human space. The few things that are known about this empire is that they are the descendants of the ancient humanity, which disappeared as a result of previous wars and conflicts. And, by CanonWelding, [[WhatCouldHaveBeen considering their role in the planned crossover with]] ''ComicBook/AlbedoErmaFelnaEDF'', they were planned to be the descendants of the original Creators from the aforementioned franchise, the [[{{Precursors}} precursor race]] who created the anthros from ''Albedo'', and, in this story, they also created the anthros from ''Katmandu'' as well.

Basically, they were in a conquering spree across the universe, and they are trying to both capture Matoo and his family, and also to turn the people from both planet Katmandu and the people from the known space from ''Albedo'' into their slaves, and now it's up to Matoo and all his loved ones to stop them for good.
----
* EmpireWithADarkSecret: They are the descendants from the old human race, and by default from the Creators from ''ComicBook/AlbedoErmaFelnaEDF'', and they were planning to take back what they consider theirs, in this case both the Anzasis and the anthros, who were created by their ancestors in the past.
* GreaterScopeVillain: Basically, they are this for both the characters from ''Katmandu'' and ''Albedo'', since their ancestors created the anthro people from both franchises.
* VillainTeamUp: Had originally happened, with the [[ComicBook/AlbedoErmaFelnaEDF Independent Lepine Republic]], but this would had been subverted, as the Zorion Empire [[UnwittingPawn would had used the ILR for their nefarious ends]], mainly, to [[FinalSolution wipe out the entire population of the planet Katmandu]].

!!Arlais & Arweden
[[quoteright:269:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kat_moonsisters.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:269:Arlais (left) & Arweden (right)]]
Two girls who lived centuries in the past, during the time of the First People, these two girls were the beautiful daughters of a family of warriors from that era. Despite calling the attention of many other males, they were only interested in the God of the Moon, who lived in one of the two moons of the planet Katmandu. Worried by the health of their daughters after they started to get sick since the God of the Moon refused to hear their pleas, Arlais & Arweden's family managed to ask the God of the Moon to marry them, since he was also moved by beauty of both girls, through the things went south later on between the deity and the girls...
----
* {{Expy}}: They are both combined female expies from both Hikoboshi and Orihime respectively, except as sisters rather than lovers, from the original legend of the UsefulNotes/{{Tanabata}} and in general terms, from all Princess Kaguya's male suitors from ''Literature/TheTaleOfTheBambooCutter''. They also share the fate with the already mentioned lovers, on the grounds that both sisters were separated by the God of the Moon by sending the other sister to the other moon, and they only can reunite again when both moons are very close and in the same size in the sky, just like Orihime and Hikoboshi can only reunite each other by crossing the Milky Way during very specific conditions on specific days.
* YouCantGoHomeAgain: The God of the Moon exiled Arweden when the latter disobeyed him when she went to the witch's teepee to stole her jewel.

!!The God of the Moon
[[quoteright:168:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kat_moon.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:168:Any similarity with Rakon [[{{Expy}} is just a coincidence.]]]]
The PhysicalGod who ruled on one of the moons of the planet Katmandu. He falled in love with both Arlais & Arweden when he heard their pleas for matrimony, and after being convinced by the sisters' family, he finally accepted to be their husband, through he turned out to be a very strict husband and the things went south between the three of them.
----
* {{Expy}}:
** Mythology-wise, he is a gender-bent expy of Princess Kaguya from ''Literature/TheTaleOfTheBambooCutter'', and in less degree, of the Celestial King (Tentei), Orihime's father, from the original legend of the UsefulNotes/{{Tanabata}}.
** Character design and personality-wise, he looks like a handsome-looking, scarless version of Rakon, Liska's sworn enemy.
* JerkassGods: For a husband, this god wasn't specially a nice one, to the grade he exiled Arweden to the other moon after she disobeyed his warning on not getting closer on the witch's teepee and stealing her jewel.

[[folder:Characters from "Katmandu II: Tambo"]]
!!Kichoro Tambo
Kichoro Tambo is one of the protagonists of the story, and the mother of Emilio, the boy who was Loanzah's boyfriend during her childhood years which appears during the "Ceremonies" sub-arc. Due to the relation between her son and Loanzah, she befriends with the Leonius family, while she seems to have an eye for Thorin's elder brothers...
----
* CanonForeigner: Since Kitt Mouri, the artist and writer of the story, owns her, Kichoro doesn't belong to the ''Katmandu'' universe anymore and she is the star of Mouri's own book, ''Literature/TheCarpenterAndTheNightingale''. It should be also noted that Emilio doesn't appear there, as he still owned by Carole Curtis, ''Katmandu'''s creator and that without going that his counterpart in that book, Jabulani, underwent a RaceLift, as Emilio was originally a jaguar, while Jabulani is now a lion like her mother.
* FlatCharacter: As a result of her story was CutShort and the fact the comic ended pretty quickly when Mouri wrote it, her backstory was never fully explained, outside she seem to had a liking for one either Trajan or Achilles, Thorin's elder brothers.
