12-->'''Dean:''' What? You think these suckers can really grant wishes?\
13'''Sam:''' I don't know. I guess they're powerful enough. But not exactly like Creator/BarbaraEden [[Series/IDreamOfJeannie and the harem pants]]. I mean, Djinn have been feeding off people for centuries. They're all over Literature/TheQuran.
14
15In [[ArabianNightsDays the Arabian tradition]], djinn are creatures made of smokeless fire, which were created after angels and before humans. In ''Series/{{Supernatural}}'', djinn are humanoid monsters with elaborate tattoos whose hands or eyes can glow blue. They feed on humans after poisoning them and inducing a dream-like state. Appear in [[Recap/SupernaturalS02E20WhatIsAndWhatShouldNeverBe "What Is And What Should Never Be" (S02, Ep20)]], [[Recap/SupernaturalS06E01ExileOnMainSt "Exile On Main Street" (S06, Ep01)]], [[Recap/SupernaturalS06E10CagedHeat "Caged Heat" (S06, Ep10)]], [[Recap/SupernaturalS08E20PacManFever "Pac-Man Fever" (S08, Ep20)]], and [[Recap/SupernaturalS09E20Bloodlines "Bloodlines" (S09, Ep20)]].

51This djinn captures victims over a 50-mile area, bringing them back to an abandoned warehouse in [[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joliet,_Illinois Joliet, Illionois.]] He keeps his victims in a dream-like state, where their deepest wishes are true, while he drains their blood into blood bags. He captures Dean and creates a fantasy world where Mary Winchester is alive.

58* DisappearedDad: [[spoiler: In [[Recap/SupernaturalS06E01ExileOnMainSt "Exile On Main Street" (S06, Ep01)]], Brigitta says "That's for our father," after poisoning Dean.]]
