->''[[TransformationNameAnnouncement "Brimming With Energy, From Piping Hot Rice! Cure Precious!"]]''
A relaxed, straightforward, and energetic 2nd year middle school student. Her family owns a diner, and she is an only child. She has outstanding physical drive and gets hungry quickly. Her catchphrases are "Delicious smile~!" and "I'm hungry~!". She loves fresh vegetables. Yui cherishes her grandmother's motto, "food is smiles". With Kome-Kome's power, she can transform into Cure Precious, representing onigiri.
----
* AchievementsInIgnorance: She has no idea how she got into Rosemary's Delicious Field in the first episode except that she wanted to save the poor omurice Recipepe.
* [[AllLovingHero All-Loving Heroine]]: In Episode 10, she declares her intent to make Amane believe in the Recipepes and 'Food Is Smiles', then it's implied she ''also'' wants to redeem Gentlu purely since she apologized. [[RefugeInAudacity This was before she found out they were the same person.]]
* ArcSymbol: A triangle, representing the shape of a riceball. Her hair as Cure Precious is pointed into triangles, triangles make up her skirt and her final move is Precious Triangle.
* AwesomeByAnalysis:
** She could tell from a photo of fried shrimp that it was the ones ''specifically'' from her school's cafeteria.
** She was able to talk to Gentlu and point out that she's not completely evil by pointing out how she doesn't do collateral damage and saved some students back in Episode 6.
* BicepPolishingGesture: She makes one near the end of her transformation sequence, showing she's plenty strong as a Pretty Cure.
* BigDamnHeroes: She saves a baby carriage from rolling downhill and crashing into Ran in the first episode.
* BigEater: Her first appearance in the franchise is going looking for something to eat, even if it's a rice ball bigger than her, and her first appearance in the show itself is eating several rice balls and enjoying them immensely. Although that last part probably is justified since she was shown playing soccer prior and eats to replenish calories.
* BookDumb:
** She's unable to get common Japanese phrases, unless they're food related.
** She seems to struggle with basic addition as in ep 17, when Narcistoru asks what is one plus one, she had to use her ''fingers'' to count.
** Despite not being book smart, she has a keen eye for putting things together. For example, she noticed that a picture of fried shrimp in Ran's blog was the one from her school's cafeteria just by noticing the breading. And Gentlu specifically went after the fried shrimp thanks ''to'' that blog.
* CharacterCatchphrase:
** "Food brings smiles", which is something attributed to her grandmother, and the GratuitousEnglish portmanteau "Deliciousmile!", which she uses as an exclamation when eating something tasty.
** She also likes to state how her "grandmother once said" a particular piece of advice related to the episode, invoking the image of [[Series/KamenRiderKabuto another Toei hero]].
* ComfortFood: Rice balls seem to be this to her, as her grandmother gave one to her when she was sad and let her see a Recipepe -- or what she calls "Rice Ball Fairy" -- for the first time.
* CuteBruiser: She's adorable and packs a mean punch.
* {{Determinator}}: She pushes her way into Rosemary's Delicious Field because she heard the cries of the Omurice Recipepe and will do anything to save them.
* EstablishingCharacterMoment:
** The first thing she does during her EarlyBirdCameo in episode 46 of ''Anime/TropicalRougePrettyCure'' is attempt to eat a giant rice ball before sadly learning that it's just a prop.
** In her series proper, she first is shown being highly skilled in soccer before it's revealed that she's not technically on the team yet and is only there for the food. Her next appearance is when she saves a runaway baby carriage from going downhill and crashing into Ran, concerned for her well-being while she was more worried about the ramen. This shows that despite her love of food, she's capable of putting focus into helping others.
* {{Expy}}: Yui's personality combines elements from previous lead Cures; she has the sportiness of [[Anime/SuitePrettyCure Cure Melody]], the love of food of [[Anime/KiraKiraPrecureALaMode Cure Whip]], and the energetic, yet ditzy attitude of [[Anime/SmilePrecure Cure Happy]].
* FatalFlaw: Naïvete. While recent Precure seasons tend to glorify pink cures' naiveness, Yui's case has noticeably come with a cost. Only not does she fail to be suspious about Amane knowing about Recipepes when they're supposed to be a secret from people besides the Cures and Rosemary or notice Takumi's crush on her, [[spoiler: but it also prompts her to insist that Godatz can be redeemed despite everything he's done, stopping Black Pepper from killing him. This backfires on her as it gives Godatz the opportunity to injury Takumi and caused Kome-Kome to teleport them out his hideout, using a fatal amount of her energy.]]
* ImCryingButIDontKnowWhy: When it sinks in that Black Pepper was the person she was trying to protect, she starts crying, unable to explain how she feels about it.
* IdenticalStranger: In episode 31, the group meets Princess Maira from the island Isuki when she visits who surprisingly looks like her.
* {{Malaproper}}: Has a bad habit of mangling various phrases.
* MegatonPunch: Precious has a punch move called the "500 Kilocaloric Punch" and it's later upgraded to twice the strength "1000 Kilocaloric Punch" then again as "2000 Kilocaloric Punch".
* NiceJobBreakingItHeroine: [[spoiler: In Episode 42, her insisting that Godatz can be redeemed terribly backfires as Godatz then attacks and injures Takumi and Kome-Kome. It also forces them to retreat which allows Godatz to use the Recipe-bon to drive the world into a mass famine.]]
* ObliviousToLove: When Takumi tries to ask Yui out on a date, she sees Kokone and runs off before he even finishes talking. Even when Takumi's father states ''directly to them'' that Takumi likes her, she still doesn't see it.
* OddNameOut: Of the main trio, "Precious" is the only name that's not food themed.
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: The one time she doesn’t mess up reciting something her grandma once said, it’s to help Amane forgive herself for what she’s previously done (even though it wasn’t really her) and prove to her she can become a Pretty Cure, and boy is it impactful.
--> '''Precious''': My grandma said you of today are made from what you ate yesterday. Tomorrow, you’ll be made from what you ate today. You can’t change your past. But! You can create your future from this moment on! Amane-san, where do you want to see yourself tomorrow?
* PassionateSportsGirl: Her first appearance in her anime shows that she's incredibly skilled at soccer, but she's not officially on the school's soccer team (she's only there for the rice balls, apparently).
* PinkHeroine: As it's traditional, being the pink Cure makes her the main heroine.
* PowerDyesYourHair: Her hair changes color from brown to pink when she becomes Cure Precious.
* ShipTease: The romance between Yui and Takumi forms one of the season's major plotlines. It ends up getting teased throughout the entire season, with the closest implication is them eating together in the CreditsMontage in the last episode.
* TheSnackIsMoreInteresting: Literally. Even though she's excellent at soccer, she's not part of her school's team with her actually more interested in devouring rice balls for said team instead.
* StrongerThanTheyLook: Despite being in middle school, she's strong enough to carry Rosemary over her shoulder to take him to her family's diner and can run fast enough to grab onto a baby stroller speeding down a ramp.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: If you ask her what is her favorite food, she will respond your question with fresh vegetables (the episode recaps shows Yui happily munching on a carrot). However she's shown to also munch on rice balls as shown in the first episode.

!! Kokone Fuwa (Cure Spicy)
!!! '''Voiced by:''' Creator/RisaShimizu (JP) [[labelnote: Foreign [=VAs=]]] Zeng Yunfan (TW Mandarin) [[/labelnote]]
[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cure_spicy_profile.png]]

->''[[TransformationNameAnnouncement "With A Dainty Sandwich, Spice For Your Heart! Cure Spicy!"]]''
A fashionable, cool beauty 2nd year middle school student who loves make-up and cute things. Her family owns a fine restaurant, and she is an only child. She's called the flower of Takamine. She loves to be alone, and doesn't speak much. Kokone's favourite breads are curry bread and heart-shaped bread. With Pam-Pam's power, she can transform into Cure Spicy, representing sandwiches.
----
* ArcSymbol: A circle, representing the shape of a sandwich (or rather, a hamburger bun). Her hair receives a circular loop at the top with bands and a patterned hair tie upon becoming Cure Spicy, circles make up her skirt and her final move is Spicy Circle.
* BarrierWarrior: Cure Spicy's powerset revolves around trapping Ubauzos between HardLight blocks (invoking sandwich bread), giving her teammates a clear shot to attack them. She can also create shields to block attacks.
* BookSmart: Of the main three, she's the most studious of the group, being able to pass a surprise test set up by Amane Kasai/Gentlu that Yui and Ran fail and have to stay for afterschool courses for.
* CharacterTics: If she tries to do anything, she'll overdo it in spades, like when she made sandwiches with Yui in Episode 6, she managed to make a medium-sized ''hamper'' full of various sandwiches, as well as enough ham and melon slices for four people.
* ComfortFood: She adores mini ball doughnuts as a guilty pleasure from her childhood.
* CutenessProximity: During Episode 3, she is enamored with Kome-Kome and Pam-Pam, despite being fairly expressionless normally. Later, she is also seen caring immensely for the animals at school, and has lots of trouble resisting Yui's offer to hang out upon learning that Pam-Pam will be there when she originally seemed hesitant to accept.
* DoesNotLikeSpam: Both she and Kome-Kome don't like green peppers. However, with the help of her friends, she is able to try and enjoy them at the end.
* EatingLunchAlone: She used to do this initially, until Yui arrives and becomes friends with her.
* HugeSchoolgirl: Downplayed. While 165cm isn't ''incredibly'' tall by Japanese standards, it is quite considerable for a second-year middle-school student, and makes her significantly taller than her teammates. Notably, her Cure form barely increases her height by just 2cm, while Yui and Ran both grow a good 10cm when they transform.
* IJustWantToHaveFriends: Episode 4 shows she grew up in a FriendlessBackground and longs to make friends. Yui and Rosemary are revealed to be the first real friends she ever made.
* LonelyRichKid: The end of Episode 3 shows her, at her massive house, as the only one eating at her dinner table which comes after a heartwarming scene of Yui, Rosemary, Pam-Pam and a human Kome-Kome eating curry together. At school, her peers see her as [[LonelyAtTheTop untouchable because of her status and assume she's too good to want to make friends with them.]]
* LongHairIsFeminine: Inverted. She's shown as a girly female with equally girly hobbies such as fashion and makeup, but has short hair in civilian form in contrast of previous Blue Cures who had longer hair.
* NoSocialSkills: Kokone is unfailingly polite, but she's never learned how to cut loose. Her hesitance to be open about her feelings causes her to appear standoffish, and then [[ViciousCycle her low self-esteem stops her explaining]]. She spends episode 5 consulting a how to book on making friends.
* OddNameOut: Out of the cures, she is the only one whose surname doesn't end with an "i" (Nagom'''i''', Fuw'''a''', Hanamich'''i''', Kasa'''i''').
* {{Ojou}}: She is a mature and polite LonelyRichKid who is referred to as "Fuwa-sama" and put on a pedestal by her classmates due to her social status.
* ParentalNeglect: The reason she's afraid to speak her mind is because when she was little, her aunt teased her for asking her parents for a snack, asking her not to be selfish. Her parents did nothing to defend her, and their jobs taking their attention elsewhere didn't help their relationship.
* PowerMakesYourHairGrow: When transforming into Cure Spicy, her bob length hair transforms into a long ponytail that, even slightly tied up over her head, still reaches the floor.
* ProperTightsWithASkirt: She wears thick black tights with her skirt. Her Cure form also has thick blue tights with the skirt of her dress.
* ShrinkingViolet: Despite coming off as aloof, she is more akin to this, as shown in the third episode.
* SignificantBirthDate: March 13, which is Sandwich Day.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: She has an appetite for curry bread and heart-shaped bread.

!! Ran Hanamichi (Cure Yum-Yum)
!!! '''Voiced by:''' Creator/YukaIguchi (JP) [[labelnote: Foreign [=VAs=]]] Zhao Hua (TW Mandarin) [[/labelnote]]
[[quoteright:290:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cure_yum_yum.png]]

->''[[TransformationNameAnnouncement "Sparkling Noodle Emotion! Cure Yum-Yum!"]]''
A cute 2nd year middle school student who loves to talk. Her family owns a ramen shop. She has a little sister and a little brother. She is very curious about food, and when she gets excited, she can't stop talking. She secretly posts about rice on "[=CureSta=]" under the screenname Chururin. With Mem-Mem's power, she can transform into Cure Yum-Yum, representing ramen noodles.
----
* AllOfTheOtherReindeer: The other kids excluded her due to her obsession with food. This continues into the present day, where a boy called her "weird" for talking to a sandwich.
* AnimeChineseGirl: Almost to the point of parody, with a panda on her school outfit (and filled around her family's restaurant), a dragon as her partner, and her cure form being ridiculously Chinese in aesthetic. Even her name, Ran, is a semi-generic name for a Chinese girl in anime!
* ArcSymbol: Lines, like the shape of ramen noodles. Her hair spirals into thin lines, her belt has thin lines on it, her main attack Crispy Cutter Noodles take the shape of razor-sharp lines and her final move is Yum-Yum Lines.
* BaitAndSwitch: At the end of Episode 6, Kokone assumes that due to her social media posting happening coincidentally when Gentlu steals the Recipepes (every food she's posted has been associated with the attacks shown so far) that she and Gentlu are one and the same, putting her high on the suspect list.
* BerserkButton: Insulting her family's restaurant is a big one. She get truly enraged at Gentlu when she makes harsh comments about it -- more specifically that the only reason people entered the restaurant wasn't for the food but rather the discounts (and to make it even more painful Gentlu -- as Amane Kasai -- ''gave her that suggestion'' so that Recipepes could manifest) -- and charges directly at her.
* BreakingOldTrends: There's a pseudo tradition that yellow Cures have fluffier outfits compared to their teammates, and yet Yum-Yum's outfit is based on a slimming qipao.
* ButtMonkey: Her food posting happening when Gentlu steals Recipepes makes her not food not only taste bad, but also puts her up on the suspect list that she's Gentlu herself. Even more painful? ''She'' is the one who sends Gentlu to her own family restaurant by talking to Amane Kasai, not knowing she ''is'' Gentlu!
* ComicallyMissingThePoint: After collapsing from nearly being hit by a runaway baby stroller, Yui asks if she's all right. She calmly states that the ramen box on her bike is capable of withstanding damage before Yui specifically correct if ''she'' is alright.
* HiddenDepths:
** Episode 10 reveals that she's good at drawing as she makes stamps of the Recippis they've caught and those that they haven't met. The previous episode even showed that she bought Kokone some Heart Bread and decorated it to look like the Recippin it's based off of.
** She shows knowledge of chemistry in episode 27, inventing edible bubbles out of sugar water.
* HotBlooded: Extremely passionate about her family's restaurant, and goes out of her way to confront Gentlu upon being informed what she did.
* ItsAllMyFault: In episode 8, Ran tries to quit posting on Curesta because she feels terrible about the Bundoru Gang capturing the Recippis and going after the various restaurants she posts about. Luckily, in the end, she settles on keeping the blog open but promoting take-out instead.
* LockedOutOfTheLoop: For the first half-dozen episodes, she's practically a consistent VictimOfTheWeek, never learning until Episode 7 what's actually going on.
* MotorMouth: She's known to be a quite a chatterbox.
* NoListeningSkills: Ran is not a very attentive listener, something that brings trouble in numerous occasions. In Episode 10, despite swearing she will listen, she insists that sweets come before the main course, despite Kokone assuring the contrary. In the same episode when trying to take care of Kome-Kome, she brushes off Kokone's worries and attempts to help out. When Kokone insists there is something wrong, Ran remains stubborn about it, thus an argument breaks out. In Episode 15, she didn't listen to Pam-Pam telling her that Solomogu is Todoroki.
* PlayingWithFire: Her transformation and attack have a fiery animation to them. Most likely a way of symbolizing heat for cooking and her HotBlooded attutude and noodles motif.
* PowerDyesYourHair: Like Yui, she has brown hair as a civilian, but her hair turns bright blonde (with red buns) as Cure Yum-yum.
* PreAsskickingOneLiner: Proudly says "Bring it on!" before becoming Cure Yum-Yum for the first time.
* RunningGag:
** Ran photographing a meal, then beginning to eat it, only to end up interrupted by a Recipepe being stolen, and ruining the food, from right in front of her.
** A darkly hilarious incident happens in her debut episode, when she literally sends the Bundoru Gang an open invite to raid her family's restaurant.
* TheSnackIsMoreInteresting: Is laser focused on whatever she's eating, which means that Gentlu can be standing right next to her and she doesn't notice. Unfortunately, this makes her an easy target for Gentlu to steal Recippins from since she also posts photos of places she's eaten.
* TakeAThirdOption:
** Stuck between using Curesta for Gentlu to get more Recippins from or downright stopping the blog altogether, Ran decides that she'll still keep her blog open, but promote the idea of take-out so that it's harder for Recippies to appear.
** After debating throughout the entire episode over what icon to use for her blog -- Ran herself wants a bowl of ramen, Kokone wants a panda -- the final shot of Episode 9 has her reveal that she had a panda eating a bowl of ramen.
* ThirdPersonPerson: Refers to herself as "Ran-Ran".
* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: Episode 7 reveals that Gentlu has bookmarked her Curesta blog using her phone, giving her clear targets on which shops to hit next. Once she learns about this, she just changes tactics: keep the blog open, but change it so that people opt for take-out.

[[folder:Amane Kasai '''(Gentlu/Cure Finale)''']]
!! Amane Kasai
!!! '''Voiced by:''' Creator/AiKayano (JP) [[labelnote: Foreign [=VAs=]]] Liu Ruping (TW Mandarin) [[/labelnote]]
[[quoteright:279:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/amane_kasai.png]]
->''[[PinkySwear "I want to bring smiles to everyone,]]'' ''[[WhamLine just like a parfait!"]]''
The student council president at the Cures' school, She was brainwashed prior to the beginning of the series, becoming Gentlu of the Bundoru Gang. When she rediscovers her childhood wish, she becomes the fourth Cure, Cure Finale. She represents dessert, namely parfaits.
----
* TenMinuteRetirement: Shortly after her recovery, Amane declares she's going to quit the student council due to Gentlu's actions. Two episodes later, she admits she wasn't able to go through with it.
* AbsurdlyPowerfulStudentCouncil: She attends the same school as the other Cures, and, as Student Council President, had the ability to arbitrarily assign tests, give detentions and even order the students to stay in their classrooms. However, she decides to try stepping down as of Episode 17, to make up for Gentlu's abuse of said powers, but is unable to find a good enough excuse.
* ArcSymbol: A heart. As her TransformationTrinket is the Heart Fruits Pendant, also the food she eats is heart-shaped and she has a heart shape in the middle of her Tiara as Cure Finale.
* BreakThemByTalking: Does an awesome example of it when she says "[[BorrowedCatchphrase Food Brings Smiles]]" to Gentlu... ''[[TalkingToThemself when she]]'' '''''[[TalkingToThemself is]]''''' ''[[TalkingToThemself Gentlu!]]''
* ContrastingSequelMainCharacter: To Ellen Kurokawa/Cure Beat from ''Anime/SuitePrettyCure''. Both were initially brainwashed by the BigBad into serving their own evil factions, though they can be a contrast. Ellen was once known as Siren, who was brainwashed by Mephisto after becoming jealous towards Hummy's achievements, where during her time in Minor Land she was a {{Jerkass}} who clearly doesn't hesitate to act as one towards the Trio de Minor and to her opponents. On the other hand, Amane, once known as Gentlu, is calm and collected as a member of the Ubauzo, who is also sly and selfish, being able to deceive her own victims but can break down into an utter mess that she becomes impulsive; and rather than being a {{Jerkass}}, she instead falls victim to her fellow Bundoru compatriots who acted like selfish jerks towards her. Whereas Ellen was freed from her brainwashing in Episode 21 of ''Suite'' where she awakens her potential as a Cure from that moment, Amane was freed from Narcistoru's brainwashing in Episode 12 of ''Delicious Party'' and was initially reluctant to be a Cure for six episodes due to her being guilty of her actions as Gentlu; which took her up to Episode 18 to awaken her potential as Cure Finale.
* CustomUniform: She accessorizes her school uniform with a white cardigan and a purple tie.
* DoesNotLikeSpam: She is not a fan of spicy food.
* GracefulLadiesLikePurple: Amane is a proper and gentle young lady, and purple is her most prominent theme color.
* InnocentBlueEyes: Her natural eye color, and she was initially innocent to the damage she caused as Gentle.
* ItsAllMyFault: Upon waking up after being purified, Amane [[TenMinuteRetirement tries to quit]] the Student Council and [[RefusalOfTheCall refuses to become Cure Finale]] because, in her eyes, someone who was evil as she was doesn't deserve those positions.
* MeaningfulName:
** The ''ama'' in Amane can mean "sweet", and the ''ka'' in her surname comes from ''kashi'', meaning "confectionery". These both link to her association with sweets.
** As Gentlu, Her name is derived from the Japanese way of pronouncing the word "gentle" (with extra emphasis on the "lu" at the end, hence Gentlu); over her name as an antagonist, Gentle refers to the fact she is a GentlemanThief, and is a "gentle girl" brainwashed into being evil.
** As Finale, her name refers to the fact desserts like [[TrademarkFavouriteFood parfait]] are the final part of a meal.
* OhCrap: Her reaction upon seeing Yui and Ran's mannerisms at the lunch table after Kokone invites them all to her family's restaurant. She makes it her goal to teach them proper table manners.
* PowerDyesYourHair: As Amane Kasai, she has waist-length black hair, while, as Gentlu, she has lavender hair, and Cure Finale, loose blonde hair.
* PsychosomaticSuperpowerOutage: In episode 33, [[WasTooHardOnHim her guilt over hurting the Parfait Recipepe]] has caused her Hearts Fruits Pendant to shut down and lose her ability to transform into Cure Finale.
* PurpleIsPowerful: Is heavily associated with the color purple, with it being a major colour when transformed, though it’s only her sub-color.
* RefusalOfTheCall: Amane is initially unwilling to join the other Cures due to the acts she did as Gentlu. [[TheCallKnowsWhereYouLive Unfortunately on Episode 18]], Narcistoru has found her and captured the Parfait Recipepe. This would change her mind and become the fourth Pretty Cure.
* ShellShockedVeteran: Post HeelFaceTurn, she is still haunted by her past as Gentlu, causing her to decide to step down as School Council President stay away from Recipepes and refuse to join the Pretty cures, thinking someone like her doesn't deserve to have such positions. After becoming Cure Finale, she slowly starts learning to overcome this.
* SignificantBirthDate: November 24, the day before Parfait Day. Befitting for her parfait motif.
* SugarAndIcePersonality: When she first appears, Amane appears to be a cold and brutally efficient model student. After Amane's true self is revealed, she's shown to be a sweet and kind girl who loves things like parfait and sweet rice.
* SweetTooth: She works at a sweet shop called Fruit Parlor Kasai when she's not busy with school, and has a fondness for Ohagi, also known as Botamochi, a seasonal sweet rice dish.
* TeamMom: She becomes this to the team after her HeelFaceTurn, often working to keep the others (especially Yui and Ran) on check with their attitude and homework. And even acts more as a mother to Kome-Kome than the others do.
* TrademarkFavouriteFood: Parfait. Everything about Amane that embodies her true feelings about the world is based on her encounters throughout her life with the Parfait Recipepe.
* WasTooHardOnHer: In episode 33, she laments lashing out at the Parfait Recipepe when she tried to cheer her up, which caused her Heart Fruits Pendant, rendering her unable to transform.
* WhenSheSmiles: Compared to Gentlu's PerpetualFrowner status, Amane ''herself'' is constantly smiling and happy, due to both being reunited with [[ChildhoodFriend the Parfait Recipepe]] and also her new friendship with the Cures.
* WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes: Episode 25 reveals she's scared of ghosts.

!!! Tropes exclusive to her as Gentlu
[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/p_6_1_style1_pc.png ]]
The first general of the Bundoru Gang the Cures face, she turns out to have been brainwashed by Godatz in order to infiltrate Oishiina Town. In Episode 12, she's defeated and returns to her former life.
----
* AlwaysSecondBest: She is constantly belittled by Secretoru, Narcistoru and Godatz, with them implying that the reason they've not completed their plan already is her, despite, at that point, ''only'' Gentlu encountering the Cures.
* AmbiguouslyEvil: While she ''is'' unambiguously an executive of the BigBad, Gentlu sometimes has headaches from episode 8 onwards. They are strong enough to make her change back from Gentlu to Amane and she doesn't know why she has them. It is an indication that she is brainwashed into being evil and not in total control of her actions, so it's unknown so far how many of Gentlu's actions are done on her own free will.
** Episode 9 drops the ambiguous part and confirms that she is brainwashed. When the brainwashing is starting to wear off, she outright spares the Cures from her own monster.
** In Episode 10, she becomes the ''first'' antagonist to actively ''apologize'' for her actions, after Narcistoru forces her to torture the Recipepes, and [[TomatoInTheMirror Amane Kasai]] reminds her of her personal code of honour.
* BerserkButton: She hates even the ''suggestion'' she'd attack innocent bystanders.
* BitchInSheepsClothing:
** She poses as the responsible student council president of the Cures' school while abusing Amane's powers over the student council. [[TenMinuteRetirement For this reason alone, Amane almost quits.]]
** She first attempts to steal some Recipepes from the school by ordering everyone to stay in their classrooms while the student council hunts down the cause of a monster sighting, using the time to steal the lunch of the cafeteria staff.
** Her second, more successful attempt works by assigning a surprise test with the intention to force anyone who fails to stay for after school courses, while giving the Cures a more difficult set of questions (meaning that they wouldn't be able to deal with her attack). Unfortunately, Kokone ''still'' passes even that test.
* ByThePowerOfGrayskull:
** "Bun-Bun, Doru-doru, Bundoru!" as she steals the Recipepes and the tastes.
** "Come on! Ubauzo!" as she summons an Ubauzo.
* DominoMask: She wears a purple version of this mask.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: Stealing Recipepes, and thus ruining food for everyone? Well, anything goes as long as Lord Godatz is pleased. Attacking innocents and treating them as collateral? She won't do it. Torturing the Recipepes? ''Hell no''.
* FluffyTheTerrible:
** You’d expect someone with a name like Gentlu wouldn’t be a bad guy, but you’re wrong here. That said, she ''isn't'' a villain by choice...
** She got a chibified plush toy ''as Gentlu'', [[BreakingOldTrends the first antagonist to get that kind of merchandise]].
* HeelFaceTurn: Begins one in Episode 10 when she discovers [[DangerousForbiddenTechnique creating a powered up Ubauzo]] also is a form of torture for the Recipepes.
** She returns to being Amane Kasai, after being hit by Ran's attack in Episode 11, with [[InnocentBlueEyes her natural eye colour]], only for Narcistoru and Godatz to [[HeelFaceDoorSlam reapply the brain-washing.]]
** She pulls a complete HeelFaceTurn in episode 12, thanks to Yui convincing her to fight the brain-washing and to the destruction of the pin that caused said brain-washing, which makes Godatz ''furious''. This the ''first time'' the BigBad is really ''pissed''.
* IneffectualSympatheticVillain: Since her debut, she's been constantly losing every Recipepe to the Cures and Rosemary, even back when it was only Cure Precious challenging her. She is also constantly belittled by her fellow thief, Secretoru, even when she does succeed. It is a bit hard not to feel somewhat sorry for her, which is why Cure Precious decided to redeem her.
* InformedLoner: She doesn't seem to have any friends or social connections at all. However, within the Bundoru Gang, [[AllTheOtherReindeer its much worse, as everyone calls her useless, with Narcistoru only seeing her as nothing more than a "puppet".]]
* MinionWithAnFInEvil: She tries to find the method of least aggression to capture any recipepes and personally never actually takes part in the attacking, only ever using her own powers to scare away bystanders, and she actually ''apologizes'' for mistreating the Recipepes.
* MundaneSolution:
** In both Episode 6 and 7, she doesn't use any kind of magic method to create some Recipepes at short notice, she just asks the kitchen staff in Episode 6 and ''[[RefugeInAudacity Ran Hanamichi herself]]'' in Episode 7.
** In Episode 7, she's shown to be using an ''ordinary smartphone'' to look up entries on Curesta, and one of the blogs she's following is Ran's Chururin blog, which, a few episodes later, is how she's caught, using a [[HoneyTrap deliberately planted review]].
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: When she is given stronger brainwashing, she abruptly breaks her own moral code, attacking without considering collateral damage and directly fighting Cure Precious, two things she ''never'' would do of her own free will.
* PerpetualFrowner: She only ever seems to smile when she gets what she wants, either praise from Godatz or a ''successfully'' captured Recipepe. After the Cures arrive, [[JustifiedTrope neither ever happens.]]
* RedEyesTakeWarning: She has very noticeable red eyes. This is the first indication that she isn't herself. Amane and Cure Finale's eyes are ''[[InnocentBlueEyes blue]]''.
* SecondaryColorNemesis: She's clad in [[PurpleIsPowerful purple]] and is the StarterVillain.
* SpikesOfVillainy: Sports prominent spikes on her shoulders and boots.
* StarterVillain: A rare example of being a female one. There's only been two other examples in the franchise before her, those being [[Anime/FreshPrettyCure Eas]] and [[Anime/HeartcatchPrettyCure Sasorina]]. Additionally she's the only villain who attacks for the first stretch of the show.
* WouldNotShootACivilian: She finds even the suggestion of even being ''ordered'' to attack innocent bystanders irritating. The only time she ''does'' is to get them to run into a nearby storage shed, which she then blasts shut.

----
* BreakingOldTrends: The first Cure with her main color being gold. The only other Cure with a gold color is [[Anime/HeartcatchPrettyCure Cure Sunshine]] who has it as the sub-color.
* CoolCrown: A purple tiara-like headband with a heart in the center.
* GratuitousFrench: Her Cure name and attacks all have French names.
* LightIsGood: The SixthRanger of the good guys and she wears mostly white with a [[ColorMotif purple tint]].
* ThePowerOfFriendship: The energy crystal she uses in lieu of an energy fairy was first formed several years ''before'' the series began, when an infant Amane made a [[PinkySwear pinkie promise]] to the Parfait Recipepe.
* SixthRanger: She's the last addition for the ''[=DeliciousParty=]♡'' team.

The prince from [=CooKingdom=] who is leading the search for the Recipebbons. He has high beauty standards and knows cosmetology. He also cries often and is emotional.
----
* AgentPeacock: He dresses and speaks in a very flamboyant manner, yet he's able to (temporarily at least) fight a Ubauzo on his own.
* BecauseYouWereNiceToMe: Thanks to Yui and her mother feeding him at their restaurant, he returns the favor by willing to help out.
* CallingYourAttacks: His Delicious Field to transfer everyone to the battlefield.
* {{Camp}}: His actual sexuality is not brought up, but he's very much the stereotype. He is tall, with defined muscles, and a flat chest - but has beautiful long eyelashes, makeup, violet hair and a very campy flair.
* CharacterCatchphrase: He tends to say "◯◯ mega-sized~!" (◯◯盛り~!?).
* CoatCape: As shown from the back, his cape he wears is revealed to be a jacket which he wears in this way.
* GenderBlenderName: He's called Rose''mary'', something one usually associates with females.
* InSeriesNickname: Insists that Yui calls him "Mari-chan".
* LockedOutOfTheLoop: In the first episode, he's not very helpful in giving Yui information, especially after she becomes Cure Precious for the first time.
* MadeOfIron: He tanks a blow from Gentlu in Episode 12 meant for Yui. The only damage he got was a ''ripped sleeve''.
* MeaningfulName: Rosemary is a [[EdibleThemeNaming Mediterranean herb used as a culinary condiment]], fitting for the show's motifs of all types of food.
* NonActionGuy: Not by his choice though; his Delicioustone got cracked in the first fight so he is unable to do anything except create the Delicious Fields to prevent damage. That said, he ''will'' go out to defend the Cures as he takes a blow from Gentlu ment for Yui in Episode 12.
* PunctuatedForEmphasis: When Yui tries to ask Rosemary what a Pretty Cure is in the first episode, he simply says that it's a "se-cr-et~".
* SensitiveGuyAndManlyMan: Implied to serve as the Sensitive Guy to Fennel's Manly Man.
* SinkOrSwimMentor: Has to take up this role with Yui in the first episode, after she forces her way into a battle he was having with Gentlu.
* TokenAdult: He's the sole adult character within the team. The producers even stated his intended purpose in the series is to show that adults can help in the fights as well.
* YouCantGoHomeAgain: His pendant -- which allowed him to travel to Earth -- cracked from the first fight, so he won't be able to go back to the [=CooKingdom=] until it's properly repaired.

The white fox-like Energy Fairy of Rice. Compared to the other two, she's young, innocent and energetic. When she combines forces and transforms with Yui, she enters her "rice ball form." She ends her sentences with "~kome". Also, since the third episode, can turn into a toddler, who practically considers herself to be Yui's daughter.
----
* AffectionateGestureToTheHead: Wanted one of these from Yui in Episode 3, after seeing Pampam get one of her own, which is why she went off on her own to buy carrots. She gets her wish in the end.
** A version of this is used to allow her to change between fox and human, with her tapping her head to induce the change.
* AllYourPowersCombined: A inverse example. Kome-Kome is the catalyst for the group attack, by sharing her power with ''all four Pretty Cure'' instead of just Yui.
* AsianFoxSpirit: As a white fox who can shapeshift into a human, she shares traits with the ''kitsune'' of Japanese folklore. Her being the Fairy of Rice also alludes to foxes traditionally being messangers/attendants of the Shinto god Inari, who's connected to rice.
* BigEater: Is almost as eager to eat as Yui when a rice ball is offered. Episode 3 has her clear out ''at least'' ten plates worth of food.
* CharacterTics: She pats her head in order to become human, and even when she's grown up, she can't help but finish sentences with '-kome'.
* DoesNotLikeSpam: Both she and Kokone don't like green peppers. However, with the help of her friends, she is able to try and enjoy them at the end.
* HappilyAdopted: She practically considers Yui her mother, which Yui is happy to agree with.
* HumanityEnsues: Her wish to follow Yui's example is granted by her suddenly turning into a toddler who's a LittleBitBeastly.
* IdiotHair: From toddler age onward, her human form has one.
* MyInstinctsAreShowing: Kome is sometimes is seen to play with her tail when she's bored.
* OverlyLongName: Her full name is Connectal Mochimochitto Fukkurara Glycogen Komex II.
* PinkIsFeminine: A female Energy Fairy who wears pink.
* PokemonSpeak: Can only say her name when she's a fox, and isn't much better as a child, her baby talk being mostly her name. This goes away after Episode 9, when she becomes akin to a 3-year-old, with her soon only having issues with her VerbalTic.
* PunnyName: Her name is a pun on the Spanish word for eat, "come" (pronounced "Co-meh"), as well as an archaic term for "rice".
* RepetitiveName: The shortened names of the Energy Fairies, like Kome-Kome for example, as an alternative to their usual OverlyLongName.
* RidiculouslyCuteCritter: Checks all the boxes for one, what with her cute fox-like appearance and high pitched voice. And as a human, she's ''even more adorable''.
* TookALevelInBadass: She becomes a lot more [[LetsGetDangerous serious and determined to fight back against Narcistoru]] when he's got Pam-Pam as captive. Allowing Rosemary and Mem-Men to throw her directly at him so she can fight back and free her.
* TrademarkFavouriteFood: She adores rice balls, and even turns into a giant one to allow Yui to transform.
* VoluntaryShapeshifting:
** She can transform into a rice ball as part of Yui's transformation sequence.
** Can also transform into a young girl, with [[LittleBitBeastly her ears and tail on full display]], apparently due to being a special kind of fairy, as well as wanting to be like Yui.

----
* DamselInDistress: Gets held captive by Narcistoru in 24 and is used as bait to stop Rosemary and Cure Finale from fighting back until Kome-Kome is able to rescue her.
* HairFlip: Does this with her ear whenever she's saying something smart.
* {{Ojou}}: Manages to put on this air, ''despite'' being a tiny dog. She's a perfect fit to be the companion of the ''actual'' Ojou, Kokone.

The Imperial Guard Captain for the [=CooKingdom=] who works with Rosemary. In reality, he is running the Bunduru Gang as Godatz.
----
* AllegoricalCharacter: In a story heavy with the themes of sharing and gratitude, Fennel/Godatz and his plot to hoard all the Earth's food clearly personify greed and selfishness.
* ArchEnemy: He's considered Cinnamon as this since the very beginning. Framing him to make sure he's exiled and then getting truly enraged upon seeing his return, leading to his reveal as Godatz.
* TheCaptain: Serves as this for the [=CooKingdom=]'s Imperial Guard.
* CoatCape: Much like Rosemary, he wears a green coat that resembles a cape.
* ContrastingSequelAntagonist: To both King Byogen from ''Anime/HealinGoodPrettyCure'' and Darknest from ''Anime/StarTwinklePrettyCure''. All three villains are shrouded in shadow and are vaguely hidden until the last couple of episodes.
** In terms of King Byogen, both have a [[TheDragon righthand woman]] who yearns for their approval. They both have an avatar they use to communicate with their subordinates as well (a demonic face for King Byogen, a cat shaped hologram for Godatz) while not participating in any battles. While King Byogen was just using a fraction of his power and feigned his own death as part of a BatmanGambit, Godatz himself used it to hide his true identity and use his high ranking to provide Delicioustones to the Bunduru Gang.
** In terms of Darknest, both are associated with the BigGood faction (Darknest being one of the Star Princesses and Godatz being one of the Cook Fighters). However, Darknest was a Star Princess who disagreed with the idealogy of the other Star Princesses and left to form her villainous faction, while Fennel worked under the shadows to play both factions. Coincidentally, both of their episodes where they are first encountered by the Cures are [[AnAssKickingChristmas Christmas-themed as well]], but while the Darknest fought was ActuallyADoombot and would have her true identity revealed a few episodes later, Fennel revealed his true colors after Secretoru got taken down after her fight.
* ADayInTheLimelight: Episode 41 has him as the focus character. It's also his reveal as the BigBad Godatz.
* DisproportionateRetribution: He wants to bring about extreme levels of food rationing and potential famine, and ruined Cinnamon's life because he believed he was the only one worthy to be Ginger's successor.
* DrivenByEnvy: It was his jealously towards Cinnamon that eventually lead him to become Godatz.
* EntitledBastard: Very much so, even to the point of threatening the world with starvation just to satisfy his sense of entitlement.
* EvilAllAlong: Episode 41 reveals he has been Godatz this whole time. He also framed Cinnamon of stealing Recipepes.
* EvilCannotComprehendGood: Using power to protect and serve others makes no sense to Fennel. He thinks [[MightMakesRight the person with the power has the right to subjugate others]].
* EvilIsPetty: Why did he do all of his actions, with the ultimate goal of stealing all food from the world and threatening to leave everyone to starve unless they follow him? Because Ginger wouldn’t focus solely on him.
* FatalFlaw:
** Envy. He was unable to get over his growing jealousy towards Cinamon since they first met. Allowing it to take over him, resulting in him SlowlySlippingIntoEvil and becoming the BigBad Godatz.
** Pride. He believes he's entitled to become the next successor to Ginger because he's just that great. And just having competition like Cinnamon makes him jealous enough to turn him evil. And as Godatz, he believes he himself should control all food in the world because he's just that great until his plan is thwarted thanks to Rosemary and the Cures.
* FloralThemeNaming: His name comes from fennel, a [[EdibleThemeNaming flowering plant species that is considered as an herb and is associated with the carrot family]].
* GoateeOfEvil: He sports a goatee in his casual and Godatz forms and serves as this season's BigBad.
* GreenAndMean: Averted. His theme colour is green, but like the [=CooKing=] and [=CooQueen=], is an all-out NiceGuy to the cures. Later played straight when he is revealed to be Godatz.
* GreenEyedMonster: Was jealous of Cinnamon ever since they first met. This jealousy stuck with him and consumed him over time, transforming him into Godatz.
* ItsAllAboutMe: Fennel believes he alone deserves to control all food in the world because he's that great. His vendetta against the [=CooKingdom=] boils down to sticking it to everyone who bruised his inflated ego by not seeing his greater potential.
* KickTheDog: When Cure Precious is trying to prove that he can be redeemed, he responds by directly attacking and badly injuring Black Pepper/Takumi and Kome-Kome, the two that are most dear to her at punishment for her naivety.
* KnightOfCerebus: Upon his reveal as Godatz, the show (which is arguably more lighthearted than a lot of the previous seasons) quickly shifts to a darker tone. His first action is to take out the Cures and attempt to murder them with a cold look on his face.
* LaserGuidedKarma: Yes, Fennel's been purified and has seen the error of his ways, but as Rosemary put it best, what he did was unforgivable. [[PutOnAPrisonBus So it's only fair that does some hard time in CooKingdom's jail.]]
* TheMole: Was the person who framed Cinnamon for stealing the Recipe-Bon.
* OneWingedAngel: In the final confrontation with the Cures, he's revealed to have used the power of the Delicious Stones to transform into a monster form (actually being more cat-like in appearance), making him more powerful than ever. The Cures still win the day and destroy the form, turning him back to normal.
* PowerMakesYourHairGrow: Upon transforming into Godatz, his usual bob length hair goes all the way down to his shoulders.
* PutOnAPrisonBus: His final fate sees him placed in prison, presumably for life. No one will feel sorry for him considering he almost doomed humanity to a slow and painful death by starvation. Though it's implied from how Cure Precious was able to reach out to him that [[GracefulLoser he may have surrendered upon defeat]].
* PsychologicalProjection: He's convinced everyone is just as self-centred as he is, going so far as to accuse ''Cure Precious'' of forcing her ideals on others.
* APupilOfMineUntilHeTurnedToEvil: Under the tutelage of Ginger, he was a diligent student, but his jealousy towards Cinamon consumed him and turned him evil.
* PurpleIsPowerful: As Godatz, his theme colour changes from Green to Purple.
* SensitiveGuyAndManlyMan: Implied to serve as the Manly Man to Rosemary's Sensitive Guy.
* SoProudOfYou: He's very proud of Cerfuil for being able to conquer her fears and fighting against the Ubauzo and willingly gives her her Delicious Stone.
* TheStoic: He tends to be a very serious person and is dedicated to his duties who tends to struggle with expressing himself. His stoic plays in a really creepy level in Episode 41, making him look a lot more suspicious.
* UsedToBeASweetKid: He was a very diligent student of Ginger's until Cinamon arrived, leading to him developing jealousy towards him and causing him to change for the worst.
* WalkingSpoiler: The reveal of him as Godatz changes a lot of what we know about him.
* WeCanRuleTogether: He gives Takumi an offer to side with him in episode 42, which the former promptly refuses with an energy blast.
* WhamShot: Once the Rice Ball Recipepe is freed, he immediately grabs it and summons a Delicioustone that is in a pendent in the same shape as the Bundoru Gang symbol.
* WouldHurtAChild:
** Has no qualms with ''killing'' four depowered Cures as they're knocked out of their forms by his attack. He would've done it too if it wasn't for Cinnamon's, Black Pepper's and Mari's intervention.
** He also has no problem badly injuring Takumi right in front of Cure Precious because of her nativity.

The former master of Fennel, Cinnamon, and Rosemary. He disappeared in the present.
----
* BigGood: Out of everyone, he's the closest the season has to one. He's a very kind character that everyone looks up to and came up with a plan to counter someone using the Recipe-bon to cause a massive famine.
* CrazyPrepared: He effectively hid a massive emergency food stash within all the Lucky Cat statues that were placed around Oshiina Town, that ''cannot'' be erased by the theft of the Recipepes, in case of that exact problem, and swore his allies in the town to secrecy.
* TheLeader: He serves as the leader for the [=CookFighters=]

* PassingTheTorch: Gives his son Takumi his delicioustone after it chose him, allowing him to become a new Cook Fighter with the name of Black Pepper.
* SueDonym: The Japanese name he uses in Oishina Town is phonetically very similar to "Cinnamon" being '''Shina'''da '''Mon'''pei.
* SmallRoleBigImpact: His existence is what caused Fennel to become Godatz out of jealousy, leading to the primary conflict of the anime.
* WalkingSpoiler: Plays a crucial role in many character's backstories, including Fennel's StartOfDarkness.

* CoatCape: Her open jacket is so long that it almost looks like she's wearing a cape when she opens it.
* CowardlyLion: Despite her training to be a [=CookFighter=], she's revealed to be a real scaredy-cat, being scared of the high bridge and combat, preventing her from passing their exam.
* GoalInLife: She wants to become a [=CookFighter=] so she can fight like the Cures and other fighters.
* GreenAndMean: Averted. Like Fennel, has green as her colour theme, but is an all-out [[NiceGuy Nice Girl]] and very welcoming to the cures upon their arrival.
* FaintInShock: Her reaction upon being face to face with the Ubauzo. Luckily, the Cures arrive just in time to help her.

* PunnyName: Her name is derived from "careful" and "chervil". [[EdibleThemeNaming Chervil is the common name of a few consumable plants which have different genuses, either related to parsley or carrot]].
* TookALevelInBadass: Watching the Cures being trapped by the Ubauzo and remembering the advice Amane gave her, she becomes determined to save all those she cares about, allowing her to receive her Delicious Stone from Fennel and fight back against the Ubauzo.

* BadassCape: Wears one as Black Pepper. It can be used as a CloakOfDefense when doing a CapeSwish.
* BadassInANiceSuit: As Black Pepper, he's decked out in a white suit and cape.
* BigDamnHeroes: As Black Pepper, he intervenes by crushing a candy-shaped rock to fall on a Motto Ubauzo in Episode 13. This gives the Cures the chance to finish it off. He continues to watch the battles, intervening if necessary.
* BreakingOldTrends: While a male love interest as part of the main cast isn't new for the franchise, Takumi is the first to be full-on team member with his own transformation, even appearing on the poster alongside the girls.[[labelnote: *]][[Anime/GoPrincessPrettyCure Kanata]] was a frequent source of assistance over his series, but still only in a support capacity.[[/labelnote]]

* DeclarationOfProtection: Upon learning of his lineage and Yui being a Pretty Cure and fighting the Bundou by her own choice, he decides to become Black Pepper to protect her.
* DoggedNiceGuy: Appears to harbor a seemingly unrequited crush on Yui. In one instance, he actually ''does'' try to ask her out on a date to a burger joint, only for her to be distracted by her friends.
* DramaticIrony: After accidentally witnessing Rosemary transporting Yui into the Delicious Field on multiple occasions, he becomes convinced that she's being abducted and that Rosemary is in league with the Ubauzos. Thankfully, he realizes the truth in Episode 13.
* GoodWearsWhite: He wears a white tuxedo and matching wide-brimmed hat as Black Pepper.
* HeroicLineage: Like Rosemary, Takumi's father Monpei was also a warrior from the [=CooKingdom=]. After discovering and unlocking his amulet's power by pure chance, Takumi decided to take up the mantle of Black Pepper in order to protect Yui during her bouts as a Pretty Cure. His choice of outfit and white hair also makes Rosemary think of another warrior that went by the name of Cinnamon (aka Takumi's father).
* IronicName: The hero named Black Pepper is predominantly clad in ''white''.
* ItsPersonal: Aside from wanting to protect Yui, Takumi becomes Black Pepper for the first time because of how the attack directly hit his mother's memories of how she and Monpei met.
* LockedOutOfTheLoop: Has no idea about Amane/Cure Finale joining the team, meaning when he tries to intervene in Episode 19 to save Cure Precious from a Motto Ubauzo, Cure Finale is already two steps ahead of him and ends up making his rescue attempt more awkward than anything else.
* SecretSecretKeeper: Takumi knows that Yui is Cure Precious, but Yui herself is oblivious to this fact until episode 40.
* SixthRanger: He's an additional member of the Delicious Pre-Cures, debuting in Episode 13.

!! Recipepes
!!! '''Voiced by:''' Creator/MiyuriShimabukuro, Rie Kawamura and Creator/IkumiHasegawa (JP)
The Recipepes are small food fairies that resemble the foods they are based on. They love to be near warm hearts. Whenever they are captured by the Bundoru Gang, the food they are based on gets affected, whether by taste or memory.
----
* MoralityPet: Strangely enough, they serve as one for Amane Kasai/Gentlu. In Episode 10, she is visibly distraught when her upgraded Ubauzo ends up hurting the fairies, and Episode 12 reveals that she had drawn a Recipepe herself, which is strong enough to break Godatz's enhanced brainwashing on her.
* OurFairiesAreDifferent: These little fairies are very small beings that are found near foods.
* RealAfterAll: A younger Yui saw what looked like a Rice Ball Fairy. Rosemary reveals that it's a Recipepe, a food spirit that appears due to the happiness of people eating food.
* RecurringElement: They're very similar to the elemental spirits in ''[[Anime/HealinGoodPrettyCure Healin' Good Pretty Cure]]'', being the embodiment of something (nature in Healin' Good's case, food in Delicious Party's case) that the villains take as a way to mix with their MonsterOfTheWeek.
* TearsOfFear: Similar to the elemental spirits from Healin' Good, these fairies will generally cry in pain whenever they're captured, especially when stronger Ubauzos are involved.
* VictimOfTheWeek: They are always the ones caught by the Bundoru Gang so they can be sent over to Godatz. Once Rosemary and the Pretty Cures start intervening, they mix them with Ubauzos.

----
* BigBad: This dastardly being's the one heading the Gang's activities and main operations with the Pretty Cure and their allies opposing him, his subordinates and his actions. Even worse, One of these allies [[TheMole happened to be Godatz himself.]]
* CatsAreMean: Downplayed. His lair is located on a strange cat-shaped hill and his initial appearance is feline-like, as a massive TakeThat to Ginger.
** However, the OneWingedAngel form has more feline-like motifs, including paws and a long tail.
* TheCorrupter: Is responsible for brainwashing Amane Kasai into serving as his pawn. Once Narcistoru kidnaps her after her brainwashing initially wears off, he enhances the brainwashing.
* ForTheEvulz: His whole reason for stealing the Recipe-Bon and abducting the Recipepes turns out to be petty-minded jealousy and has no purpose except to grant him '''''personally''''' absolute power over everything. This is in-spite of the fact that doing so has shut down numerous restaurants and at least one ''entire cuisine'' in the process.
** His master plan is even to enforce ''global rationing'', whereby he'll only reopen the Recipe-bon if the entire world accepts him as their absolute overlord, and if not, he doesn't care about the fact everyone will be dead in ''weeks'', just that he has the power to give or take food away from them, to the point even ''attempting'' to bring back food without his authority is stopped.

Second in command of the Bundoru Gang, She gives out the missions to Gentlu and Narcistoru. Once those two are disposed of, she personally leads in the missions and is able to not only scrub memories of the food associated with the stolen Recipepes (similar to Narcistoru), but also make their existence disappear entirely.
----
* BreakingOldTrends: In terms of [[OrcusOnHisThrone second-in-commands that don't participate in battles until much later in the season]], she actually doesn't partake in the battle that the Cures activate their full team finisher in. Instead, it's Narcistoru's last battle (which also introduces the Gossori Ubauzo). She starts jumping into battles after that one.
* ByThePowerOfGrayskull:
** "Zen-Buru, Zen-Buru, Bunduru!" as she steals the Recipepes, taking the memory and existence of the food associated with them away.
** "Get to work, Gossori Ubauzo!" as she summons a Gossori Ubauzo.
* ContrastingSequelAntagonist: Has comparisons has comparisons to Shindoine, the Butler and Listol from ''Anime/HealinGoodPrettyCure'', ''Anime/TropicalRougePrettyCure'' and ''Anime/HugttoPrettyCure'' respectively (all three served as [[TheDragon the right hand to their masters]]).
** In terms of Shindoine, both of them are extremely loyal to their masters to yearn for their approval. However, while Shindoine was obsessively devoted as she had a crush on King Byogen, Secretoru feels like she will achieve perfection by serving Godatz. Additionally, both of them aren't immune to [[NotSoAboveItAll engaging in similar antics to the Cures]], whether if it's watching the same drama or eating the same candy as another Cure.
** In terms of the Butler, both are TheHandler to their masters and assign missions to their subordinates. They also don't tolerate failure and have threatened to kick out one of their subordinates if they failed their mission after too many failures. They even share similar themed names (serving as a butler and secretary to their respective masters). However, while Butler has motives which end up being far sinister than the witch he served, Secretoru's motives stem from a desire of being perfect and her master Godatz ends up being a far more threatening foe than she is.
** In terms of Listol, they serve as the secretary of the BigBad and are the most loyal to them before they were subsequently betrayed by their masters. In contrast, while Listol is a perpetually stern man in human form who is notably strict to his subordinates but teams up with them including Bicine, Secretoru is a sarcastic, sharp-witted woman who values perfection, but can be very stubborn to the core, caring less about teamwork who prefers to work all by herself.
* TheDragon: The right hand lady of Godatz.
* DudeWheresMyRespect: Secretoru devoted herself to serving Godatz, believing she had finally found someone who would tell her she was perfect. The revelation that he saw her as nothing but a disposable pawn ''crushes'' her.
* EvilIsPetty:
** She specifically asks for the Curry Recipepe to be taken in Episode 3 solely cause she's hungry for the food.
** In the following episode, she has Gentlu take the Sandwich, Curry Bread and Heart Bread Recippis from the Heart Bakery since ''Godatz likes bread'', and that she should get as many types as possible.
* TheHandler: She gives her missions to Gentlu and later, Narcistoru. Once Gentlu [[HeelFaceTurn joins the heroes]] and Narcistoru gets dispatched, she personally steps up to the plate.
* MeaningfulName: Secretoru... effectively acts as Godatz's ''secretary''.
* NotSoAboveItAll: Occasionally attempts the same antics as the heroes do.
* OrcusOnHisThrone: Takes until episode 29 for her to actually take the field and confront the Cures face to face.
* ThePerfectionist: Her HiddenDepths in episode 39 reveals her mindset to have become this seemingly after some kind of trauma in her past.
-->'''Secretoru:''' Anxiety is for the weak. And weakness is a flaw. Once you let it show, that's the end for you. It drags you down, and allows others to exploit you. And everything you've built up over your life is taken away! In my personal experience, if you are not absolutely perfect in this world, you cannot go on living.
* RedAndBlackAndEvilAllOver: A villainess wearing black and red.
* RetGone: When she steals a Recipepe, '''''everything''''' connected to that recipe ceases to exist. Not just the memory of eating it, the food is ''gone'', making her thefts the most potentially irreversible yet.
* SelfServingMemory: Secretoru thinks her relationships fell apart because no one liked her awful cooking, hence wishing to make recipes disappear. The truth is she was too caught up in getting it perfect the first time, and the important people in her life found her lack of patience off-putting.
* SpikesOfVillainy: Just like Gentlu, she has spikes on her shoulders and heels.
* SurroundedByIdiots: Is generally annoyed by Gentlu and Narcistoru failing to accomplish their missions of capturing Recipepes. Her TwoFacedAside comments (if not personal comments) are generally snide insults or disappointed expressions. With those two gone and Spiritoru reprogrammed, she's no longer this.
* TwoFacedAside:
** Does this OncePerEpisode. In her first scene she comments that Godatz should be pleased with the Recipepes that Gentlu collected only to immediately add with an AsideGlance that, really, it's more like the bare minimum. She does it again when she informs Gentle that the [=CooKingdom=] sent an agent so she (Gentlu) should work harder only to immediately add an AsideGlance that, really, Gentlu's work isn't very impressive to begin with.
** She frequently does this as well to show her disdain to Gentlu or to make a side comment. Narcistoru isn't immune to it either.
** After Gentlu defects and Narcistoru is PutOnAPrisonBus, she even does these when she faces the Cures personally, making a side comment, as shown in Episode 30.

----
* BadassFingersnap: Does this when he summons his Motto Ubauzo.
* TheBusCameBack: Makes a return in episode 37 after escaping from prison but is quickly sent back. He helps the fight against Godatz by reprogramming Spiritoru into disabling his drones.
* ByThePowerOfGrayskull:
** "Toru-run, Toru-run, Bundoru!" as he steals the Recipepes and memories.
** "[[GratuitousEnglish Come on!]]/Mix It Up! Moto-Ubauzo!" as he summons his Motto Ubauzo. And yes, unlike Gentlu, he says "Come On" in full on English. "Mix It Up!" is said in Japanese though.
* DeadpanSnarker: He's as snarky as he's narcissistic.
* DominoMask: He has a Domino mask covering his face, like his fellow generals.
* EarlyBirdCameo: He makes a cameo in episode 1, before his full debut in episode 9.
* EvilGenius: Serves as this for the Bundoru Gang, as he's responsible for making upgraded variants for the Ubauzos.
* EvilIsHammy: Takes real pride in his villainy and when it's his turn to attack, he really gloats about it.
* EvilIsPetty: Why did he join the Bundoru Gang to ruin eating for everyone? He's a picky eater. Seems he's so narcissistic, he can't stomach other people enjoying meals when he cannot.
* FaceFramedInShadow: In episode 1 and the opening, up until episode 9.
* FatalFlaw: Narcissism obviously. He is extremely overconfident with his abilities and he plays off a lot of his defeats as just toying with the Cures. This ends up being his downfall as during his initial assault with the Cures with the Gossori Ubauzo, he makes an extremely dumb mistake of releasing a Recipepe, feeling like he's already won and would just toy with the Cures. This gave the Cures and Kome-Kome time to plan against Narcistoru.
* GreenAndMean: A rather unlikable villain with green hair. Unlike Gentlu, he doesn't have sympathy for people or Recipepes either.
* HeelFaceDoorSlam: Literally seconds after Amane's brainwashing fails the first time, he kidnaps her and takes her back to Godatz to enhance the brainwashing.
* HeelFaceRevolvingDoor: In episode 37, he allows the The Bundoru Gang to release him from prison. However, he decides to taunt Secretoru for her attack on the cures as repayment and betrays the The Bundoru Gang. He decides to return to prison at the end to escape them as a result but still refuses to repent for his actions.
* HumiliationConga: After being defeated in episode 28, he is expelled from the Bundoru Gang due to his countless failures, captured by Rosemary and promptly taken into custody at Cookingdom, and is also [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking the victim of some slapstick while on the way there]] for good measure.
* JustToyingWithThem: When Secretoru wonders why Narcistoru hasn't fared better than Gentlu, he claims that "it would be boring if he got serious and ended things quickly". Secretoru responds with a usual AsideGlance that "only idiots (like him) would say that".
* KickTheDog: He summons a Motto Ubauzo that deliberately looks like the one Gentlu once summoned, just to pick at Amane's guilty conscience. He also preyed on Black Pepper's insecurity of feeling like his help was unnecessary as well.
* MeaningfulName: In Greek Mythology, Narcissus was an arrogant and unpleasant man. On top of being a bad guy, Narcistoru [[{{Narcissist}} pretty much fills the bill]].
* {{Narcissist}}: There's a reason his name sounds like this trait: he’s very arrogant and prideful.
* NotSoStoic: While usually just as stoic as Secretoru when it comes to food, he seems to loosen up and get excited when offered a candy apple.
* PetTheDog: While he is known for his narcissism, he is willing to help the school council and Amane's brothers to finish making their thank you gift for Amane and also with enough persuasion, tries one of her candy apples they gave as a thank you gift and seems to enjoy it, saying he hopes to meet her (without realizing he has already).
* PickyEater: His motivation for joining the Bundoru Gang. Additionally, he was unable to eat anything hot either. This therefore made it hard for him to actually enjoy food.
* PutOnAPrisonBus: After his final defeat in Episode 28, Rosemary arrests him and takes him to [=CooKingdom=] to lock him up for him to reflect on his actions.
* SecondaryColorNemesis: He's wearing purple, has green hair, and is a villain.
* SizeShifter: He receives a device from the The Bundoru Gang to let him shrink himself at will in order to escape from prison. However, after he betrays them, he has the cures use the same device to shrink him and send him back.
* SlipknotPonytail: In episode 24, when Cure Finale shoots the Finale Bouquet attack at him, it tears his hair ribbon in pieces, leaving his hair flowing free.
* SmallNameBigEgo: When he first introduces himself to the Cures in Episode 13, they don’t seem too impressed.
* SpikesOfVillainy: Sports prominent spikes on his boots.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: In 37, he forms a liking towards Candy Apples, getting excited upon getting one from Amane (though trying to deny it). In 41, he's shown eating an apple while locked up.
* UnseenNoMore: Was offscreen or had his FaceFramedInShadow for the first eight episodes. After episode 9 where he makes his formal appearance and observes the battle between Gentlu and the Pretty Cure, it's no longer the case.

----
* AffablyEvil: He's out to steal the Recippis by any means necessary. That does not stop him from helping out Kokone and Ran when they were struggling with their chores, and he complements them on successfully foiling his theft attempt.
* BewareTheSillyOnes: Might seem clueless, goofy, and unaware, but he is far from a pushover. Additionally, he's the last standing Bundoru gang member besides his master Godatz.
* ByThePowerOfGrayskull:

In Episode 40, he invades [=CooKingdom=] unopposed though, but doesn't engage in any actual fighting, as Narcistoru reprograms him in Episode 44..
* KilledMidSentence: In episode 27, just as he's about to tell the Cures about why he's programmed to dislike food, the Delicioustone powering him is suddenly removed by Narcistoru. However, Secretoru reactivates him at the end of the following episode.
* KillerRobot: Might seem oblivious, but when trying to find Oshina Town, he did threaten to burn down an entire forest.
* MeaningfulName: He increases the fighting '''spirit''' of his Motto Ubauzos.
* MechanicalMonster: His Motto Ubauzos combine with a cookware alongside a mechanical element, such as a wrench.
* NiceGuy: Sort of ... he's more pleasant compared to his creator, and he helped Kokone and Ran out (before finding out that they were the Cures). However, once he finds his prey (Recipipis), he's relentless and will stop at nothing to accomplish his objective.
* OffscreenMomentOfAwesome: Was sent to capture Recipepes overseas, which he was successful with doing. Since it was farther away, the Cures weren't able to detect them on their watches either.
* SixthRanger: Joins the ranks of the Bundoru Gang in episode 25.
* VerbalTic: Often ends his sentences with "-gowasu".
* WhamShot: The orb that Narcistoru put inside of him is part of a Delicioustone, making Mari question where the Bundoru Gang even got it from.

This season's obligatory monsters. When summoned, the food the captured Recipepe is related to will taste horrible.
----
* AnimateInanimateObject: Much like most others, they are summoned by turning an inanimate object into the MonsterOfTheWeek that the Cures have to fight.
* FryingPanOfDoom: The first Ubauzo and its upgraded variant are giant frying pans with boxing gloves. More generally, all the Ubauzos are made from some kind of kitchen paraphernalia.
* LastWords: When the Cures manage to beat one, it says "I'm stuffed!" as it goes out. It also says "Thank you for the food!" along with the Cure or Cures who purify it.
* MeaningfulName: They're named after the Japanese word "ubau" which means "to steal". Narcistoru's variant means "more stealing". The "Gossori" in Gossori Ubauzo means "completely steal".
* MidSeasonUpgrade: Thanks to Narcistoru, Ubauzos can upgrade into stronger variants.
** The first powered variant summoned by Gentlu in Episode 10 have pointy red masks and the Bundoru emblem has a yellow triangle. They're upgraded by the user extracting their energy.
** The Motto Ubauzos, summoned by Narcistoru (and later Spiritoru), have green masks and a dark olive green helmet on their foreheads with the Bundoru Gang's emblem on it along with big grey horns. Unlike the previous ones, these also don't need the user to extract their energy either. Narcistoru then proceeds to make a subvariant by using two objects instead of one, making them more versatile and powerful.
** In his final episode, Narcistoru introduces a Gossori Ubauzo, which are far more powerful and require the team finisher to take out. After Narcistoru's final defeat, Secretoru manages to get a copy of the book and merges it with Spiritoru, allowing him to summon them as well. There are variants summoned by Secretoru and Godatz, although their power scaling is relatively the same.
* MonsterOfTheWeek: To summon them, the Bundoru Gang need to have captured a Recipepe, which allows them to fire their insignia at an object to turn it into an Ubauzo. They even have some incantation to accompany it as well.
* WakeUpCallBoss: While all of the other weaker Ubauzos have had required the Cures to think outside of the box to defeat (specifically the spatula one from Episode 8), the beefed up Frying Pan Ubauzo from Episode 10 are a stronger variety altogether and require the Heart Juicy Mixer to finish it off.
