Since Harry Potter and No One in Particular has a fairly extensive cast, and they are sometimes so different from they were back in the old days, this may be a good idea. Listed in approximate order of appearance.
----

The former "boy-who-lived" who works at a boring job in the Ministry, abuses "special potions" and muses about his GloryDays.
* AbusiveParents: He psychologically abuses his son James, condescendingly calling him Devil Bags, swearing at him, mocking him, refusing to be seen in public with him, not speaking to him for months on end, telling people he's an "evil outsider" and telling James he's one of the most wicked people in the world, giving him half a bottle of wine and a basket of knives for his birthday, threatening to have Ron beat him up...the list goes on. At one point he took James to an office Christmas party and forgot him there until January.
* AdaptationalJerkass: He's become much more jaded and cynical over the years. He happily gets into a fight with his former friend Ron, affects an annoying attitude of superiority and entitlement, wallows in self-pity, insults his work colleagues, and even abuses his children because he resents them for being happier than him. He does eventually try to stop being like this, and it turns out that
* TheAlcoholic: At a pub, Harry mocks Mavis for ordering a single gin and tonic and orders himself a pint of Jack Daniel's.
%% Doesn't explain what the reaction is. * BerserkButton: Seeing one of Voldemort's numerous cooking shows on TV.
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: Harry's first seen creeping into the neighbour's garden, where he lies on the grass and cries all night for no reason that he can put his finger on.
* MoodSwinger: Harry occasionally becomes very angry, or bursts into tears, with apparently very little provocation.
* ScrewTheRulesImFamous: He uses his fame as "the Boy Who Lived" to get drunk at work and be openly rude to his boss. In the final chapter, Mavis lampshades this, saying that Mr. Painspiel can't fire Harry because of his status.
* TheSlacker: Harry's boss asks him to do some paperwork.
-->Boss: Take care of this, would you, Harry?
-->Harry: Not a chance! [waves his wand, causing the papers to fly around the room] Now go to hell, please. I'm done. Thank you for your interest! [walks out of the room and doesn't return all day.]

Ron's lover who goes by a variety of masculine names.
* DeadAllAlong:[[spoiler: It turns out that Mitsuko Burselfly was possessed by Morgan le Fay, and died when she attempted to kill Hermione. Her amulet filled with blood and polyjuice potion had a curse that upon death would switch the outward appearence and clothing of the parties involved, making Hermione the new Mitsuko- problem was, Hermione's allergy to magic left her in a permanent state of dissociation with reality, turning her into 'No One in Particular'.]]
* DistinguishingMark: Has a crescent moon shaped scar on her cheek, which bleeds during chapter 2.
* IHaveManyNames: All of which are references to various forms of media.
* LoveInterest: To Ron... kind of.
* NakedFirstImpression: Showed up to Jules like this.
* ReallyGetsAround: Let's say, she doesn't limit herself to just Ron.
* MsFanservice: The fic goes to great length to describe her astounding beauty.
* ShoutOut: Soma Yukihira is the main character from Manga/FoodWars. Ron is even called out for not getting the reference.
** Eventually, Soma confesses that her "real name" is Soma Cruz... which is the name of a character. Ron is, once again, ridiculed for missing out on this reference as well.

Another Hogwards retiree, a successful musician who runs him own music studio.
* TheAlcoholic: Admits to being one in Chapter 2.
* CallBack: In chapter 5, he wears "the usual shirt", presumably Ron's Ron Shirt.
* FeelingTheirAge: When Ron gets into a fight with Neville, the narration remarks that they're both large, muscular men, but Ron's years of heavy drinking have dulled his edge.
* ParentalNeglect: His teenage daughter Rose calls him out for being more interested in "getting shitfaced with the ManChild Who Lived" than spending time making memories with her.

Apparently died in the GreatOffscreenWar... or did she?

Harry's ex-wife who betrayed him to the Death Eaters some time ago. [[spoiler: Not really a Death Eater, her party at a tabletop role-playing game actually summoned a cursed peregrine falcon that possessed them and turned them into the Peregrine Death Eaters. Ginny, however, was the only one in the group who escaped unaffected- but that doesn't stop everyone else from thinking she's one now.]]

Harry Potter's secretary and assistant.

* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Despite her mannerisms, her genuinely cares about Harry and his friends.
* JustFriends: She rebuffs Harry's advances in this fashion.
* LadySwearsalot: She's definitely the most potty-mouthed of the cast. She swears 3 times in a row in her opening scene.
* SexySecretary: Her attractiveness is noticed by more than several fellas in the fic.
* StatuesqueStunner: She's very thin and tall, even taller than Harry. He even compares her to a "big, long, sexy spider".

Harry's hardworking boss at the Ministry of Magic.
* MeaningfulName: He likes to break into diatribes, or to put it another way, spiels.

folder:Yvette

Another Ministry worker, who moonlights as an evil wizard and a head of the Death Eater-esque gang.
* AdaptationalJerkass: Oh yes! He's bad enough to make Harry look like a refined gentleman.
* TheBrute: The powerfully built Neville is able to shove Jules aside "like a rocking horse".
* DelightingInRiddles: Bullies Jules with impossible tasks, such as asking him for a report on "things done by people on dates".
* DomesticAbuse: His wife, Hannah Abbott, is apparently having a bad time with him, and she tries to flirt with Jules because of that. Neville calls her "Handlebars", tries to pimp her out, brags to her about sleeping with other women, and threatens to kill people if she doesn't watch the film Frozen with him.
* Jerkass: Is an absolute asshole to everyone he sees.
-->Neville [seeing Harry at a Hallowe'en party, not having spoken to him before in the story]: It's Harry Potter! Look, everyone, it's Harry Potter! He's not a ghost, but it looks like he's a bit of a wanker!
* NonchalantDodge: Casually dodges punches thrown at him by both Jules and Ron, seeming to find the attacks more amusing than seriously threatening.

Dementor-turned-human who works for Neville.
* TheDogBitesBack: Attempted. He tries to get back at Neville for bullying him, exclaiming "I've had just about enough, you old bitch!" before trying to punch him. It fails.
* TheFaceless: He always wears a wooden mask to protect him from patronus charms. During the costume party, his costume is just taking it off, but everyone is obsessed with finding out who he dressed as- and even who he is.
* JustFriends: He rejects Hannah's advances in favor of this.
* SquishyWizard: He's noted as not being very strong physically, but quite talented at magic.

Harry's overweight former rival, a professor at the Institute of Haplotype Science.
* AdaptationalNiceGuy: Downplayed. He's still very much hostile to Harry and those who hang out with him, but with others he's more relatively benign.
* BigStupidDoodooHead: Calls Mavis a "fubsy-wubsy".
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Some of his snobbiness is still there, but he's a lot less malicious than he used to be, and, unlike Harry, he genuinely loves his son.
* RetiredMonster: Despite everything, he's still largely unrepentant for of his bullying.
* TomatoInTheMirror

The director of the Institute of Haplotype Science and struggling wife of Yvette.

A wizard painting of Mitsuko Burselfly made before her curse and She's much different to the Mitsuko we see, with dark brown eyes and no red scar, and a cheery, caring personality. Since being painted she lacked the ability to move because of an immobilizing spell cast on the subject. However, the artist in question is unidentified because the name on her canvas was scraped off, leaving her a painting by a forgotten man.
