The titular antagonist of the movie. A vampire who moved from an undisclosed city in Bulgaria to America (Los Angeles in both films) in search of fresh blood and women to make into vampire brides, banking on the knowledge that Americans view vampirism as fiction in order to spread his curse.
----

* AffablyEvil: For the most part, Yorga talks in a courteous and very gentlemanly tone, making him seem very charming. But he's still an undead monster who has no qualms with killing or turning his targets.
* AntagonistTitle
* BadBoss: First movie only, but he's willing to sacrifice his servants to save himself.
* TheBadGuyWins: [[spoiler:Posthumously, as killing him ''doesn't'' cause his victims to become human again (which makes sense, he's essentially killing his victims then resurrecting them as walking corpses). By the end of each movie, everyone who knew his secret or tried to stop him is either dead or turned into a vampire themselves. In fact, he pretty much succeeds in spreading his vampirism to a modern day land and it is implied that, even with him gone, it'll continue after his death]].
* BigBad: Well, obviously.
* BlatantLies: In the first movie,when Paul and Erica's friends come looking for them, he claims he never saw them.
* ChokeHolds: How he usually deals with any opponents he doesn't bite.
* ClassicalMovieVampire: To the tee. Despite having survived into the modern era (the 70's, in this case), he is perpetually steeped in his old ways, scoffing at modern things like slang and the less uptight ways of society. At his home, his lair looks like something pulled right from a Transylvanian castle, complete with a throne and a crest above it. Whenever he turns women, he has them wear nightgowns and old-fashioned jewelry; he himself even wears the usual suit-and-cape ensemble. The sequel does modernize him a bit, as he now watches TV, has automatic shutters in his home (which open and close at the push of a button), and his throne room looks less archaic (though he still has the odd medieval knick-knack here and there). He even gives his brides proper coffins as opposed to the stone slabs they slept on in the first movie.
* TheCorrupter: Being a vampire and all, it comes with the territory. His control over his turned victims is absolute, and they will obey him without question. [[spoiler: Even when he's killed, their mindset is still set to attacking and feeding on people as seen at the end of the movies (through Erica, the red headed bride, and ultimately through Donna when killing Michael and Baldwin in biting Cynthia)]].
* CursedWithAwesome: If his speech to Erica before he fully drains her is any indication, he feels this way about his vampirism.
--> '''Yorga''': Erica, my love, I come to offer you eternal love. [[LivingForeverIsAwesome To keep you with me forever, outlasting centuries. Magnificence beyond existence.]] This, I now give to you.
* DeadpanSnarker: When in his human form, he's not above having a little quip or two at those he interacts with. Likely because, being so long lived and from a very superstitious time and area, he's not familiar with modern day facets. Also likely 'cause he's not fond of humans either.
--> '''Child''': ''(Playing a piano at a fundraiser)'' You like this kinda music?
--> '''Yorga''': Only when it's played well.
* DirtyOldMan: Likely centuries of years old but still has a taste for women. Once they fall under his control, he has them have sex with each other for his amusement. Heck he practically has a MaleGaze at Erica's figure after talking with her at the start of the film, clearly liking what he sees and already plotting to add her to his undead harem.
* EvenEvilHasStandards: While he seduces, drains and turns women into the walking undead under his command, he never stoops as low as raping them. He gives Brudah a DeathGlare for this when he tries to ask forgiveness and would've likely punished him if Hayes and Micheal hadn't showed up right then and there.
* {{Expy}}: Of Dracula.
* EvilLaugh: Sports some rather impressive and bone-chilling ones. In the first movie, he lets off one at Hayes when Hayes has him cornered with a cross but hesitating. With Yorga mocking his calls for Micheal to come help him. In the second, he laughs over an intercom as David and Cynthia are trying to escape his house and are blocked at every turn by his vampire brides.
* EvilSoundsDeep: Usually, when he's mind-controlling someone, or decides to drop his human façade.
* ForTheEvulz: There's really no rhyme or reason to what he does. He's a vampire, he feeds on blood and spreads his curse... and that's about it. He doesn't even seem to be interested in trying to take over the city, just in turning as many unfortunate victims as he can to make sure vampirism is still active in the modern world. Los Angeles itself is just a hunting ground to him. Considering the way he smiles when he does his deeds, he clearly enjoys being a vampire.
* GameFace: Tends to turn [[UndeathlyPallor completely pale]], has a seemingly-glazed, almost downright feral look in his eyes, and reveals the [[MoreTeethThanTheOsmondFamily mouthful]] of [[FangsAreEvil fangs]]. This is showcased when he's set to go after Erica for the second and final time. Gazing out from his window in human form as he looks up at the moon during a storm. After a cut away, when it returns to him, he's in vamp face.
* GoodOldWays: Slightly touched upon and a bit of a theme with him. Yorga comes from a time of old royalty, likely the medieval era: a time when magics were a common thing, when ways were more strict and people were more loyal to their kings/leaders. His anachronistic attitude makes him stick out in the modern era because he doesn't try to blend in with the current times. This is reflective of both his home life and how he goes about his vampirism: the mansion is just another castle to him, those he turns adhere to his ways, and he uses the fictionalization of vampire lore to his advantage to go about his deeds.
* HeKnowsTooMuch: The general reason he sets to kill Micheal and Hayes in the first movie. He wants his true nature kept a secret so he can continue hunting in privacy.
* HolyBurnsEvil: Slightly, when Hayes and later Micheal pull a cross on him in the first movie. He is perturbed and can't go against it. But, unlike the brides who flinch in fear of it being newly turned vampires, he manages to keep his cool around it and even mocks Hayes when he's holding him back with a cross. The film implying he built up something of a resistance against crosses over the centuries but not really enough to completely bypass it.
* IDoNotDrinkWine: True to his inspiration, he does a variation of this at the start of the first film when Erica offer him some brandy, noting he hasn't drank or ate anything since he began the seance. He cites it as a "mild stomach sickness" and claims he'll "get a snack" later, all while eyeing Erica ominously after politely refusing her offer.
* InertialImpalement: How he meets his end in the first movie. He tries to choke Micheal who was trying to follow after him from the room he fled from. But rushed at Micheal while he was holding out a piece of stake and ran right into it.
* {{Lunacy}}: Implied in the first movie, he goes full vampire when looking at the moon at one point. Though likely just drawing strength from the night in general.
* MonsterProgenitor: The main cause of the vampires in both movies, having come from Europe to spread vampirism in America.
* MoreTeethThanTheOsmondFamily: He and his brides each have a very piranha-like set of fangs, emulating those of bats. Oddly enough, when he bites a woman, he only leaves two small pinpricks.
* MysteriousPast: We only get vague hints about him, that he hails from Bulgaria and studied the occult. Implying it's through that he became a vampire and likewise did his share of terrorizing in the country before deciding to move to a new feeding ground in America.
* NoOntologicalInertia: [[SubvertedTrope Nope]]. Once he turns someone, it's permanent. Bloodlust, immorality and general vampirism [[TranshumanTreachery will stay with his victims even if he dies]].
* ReallySevenHundredYearsOld: While no specific age is ever given, his knowledge of the occult and his throne like dwelling imply he was originally around during a medieval era, surviving into the present day.
* SelfDisposingVillain: First film.
* SincerityMode: In the first film, [[spoiler: after Donna is brought to him, he states that he did intend to reunite her with her mother. Which, indeed, he does...it's just that she's already a vampire by that point.]]
* SophisticatedAsHell: When in his human guise. It's a very noticeable indication that he's not from the modern era, as he usually sneers as things like slang or just joking nature in general.
* TooDumbToLive: The usual source of his downfall in the movies. In the first, it was running to choke Micheal (who was already holding a stake out at him) after sacrificing one of his brides to escape. In the second movie, it was ignoring his witch servant, who warned him to turn Cynthia before he kills her. Sure enough, that's what happens.
* UndeathlyPallor: When he goes completely vampire, his skin becomes a very glossy white.
* VampireMonarch: Undoubtedly the head vampire in his ever-growing army of the undead.
* WasOnceAMan: The first movie seems to imply he turned himself into a vampire through occult experiments to gain immortality, willingly taking on the vampire curse that comes with it. Likewise, the second movie indicates he willingly let a vampire witch turn him.

!! Brudah
--> '''Played By:''' Edward Walsh

Yorga's deformed human servant who looks after him during the daytime.
----

* TheBrute: Pretty much Yorga's strongman.
* GratuitousRape: Does this to Donna in the first movie, much to Yorga's displeasure.
* MadeOfIron: Barring a gunshot and a fatal stab, the man can take a lot of punishment.
* PietaPlagiarism: After Yorga finishes feeding on Erica and making her into his bride, Brudah carries her body like this in her newly vamped form down into Yorga's throne room to join the other brides
* TheRenfield: Serves as this, being Yorga's daytime servant, with a bit of TheIgor thrown in due to his malformed state.
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Vampire Harem]]
!! Vampire Harem
Former female victims turned vampires under Yorga's control. In both movies, Yorga already has a few at the start, adding more to his undead ranks through the story (Erica [[spoiler: and Donna]] in first movie, Ellen and Mitzi in the second). They act as Yorga's bodyguards and obey his orders without question.
----
!!! General
* BodyguardBabes: More or less, Yorga awakens them to attack Hayes when he corners Yorga with a cross.
* NoNameGiven: Save the named characters that are turned. None of them are named.
* OurVampiresAreDifferent: Same as Yorga, they have bat-like fangs. They can apparently decay if left underground for too long. Two of the brides in the second movie have discolored skin and disfigurement as a result.
* RiseFromYourGrave: What we see them do at the start of the second movie after Yorga calls for them.
* UndeadBarefooter: Again, all of them go barefoot. This seems to be another preference of Yorga's.
* UndeathlyPallor: Naturally their skin is very pale, showcasing their undeath.
* VampireBitesSuck: Unlike Yorga, they are less than delicate with their fangs.
* VampiresHarem: Essentially they're a collection of Yorga's former "loves", having joined him in undeath.
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: Of both movies, only one is staked [[spoiler:, Donna's mother in the first movie,]]. The remaining brides live to continue their terror [[spoiler:, even with their master dead.]]

!!! First movie
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cy_01_cy_vmp4_20210105_165941187.jpg]]

* AbsurdlyYouthfulMother: The blonde bride is revealed to be Donna's mother. Oddly enough she doesn't look any older than her daughter, who's already long into adulthood. And this was ''before'' she was turned.
* AttackAttackRetreatRetreat: In the finale, Erica and the red-headed bride confront Micheal and Donna [[spoiler: after Yorga is staked]] on the stairwell. The latter two run to the opposite stairs with the brides doubling back they way they came to meet them in the center. Just as they're about to pounce on them, Micheal flashes his makeshift cross at them. Erica, who was out in front, reels back and wheels behind the red-headed bride as the two back down the stairwell, unable to attack the two with the cross in front of them.
* BlondeBrunetteRedhead: Follows the scheme, with Erica joining completing the ensemble.
* DecapitatedArmy: [[spoiler: Subverted. Even though Yorga dies at the end of the movie, the vampirism doesn't go with him and brides remain loyal to his evil cause. So they continue to come after Micheal.]]
* EnemyRisingBehind: They awaken and rise from their slumber when Hayes confronts Yorga, with Hayes being fully unaware of it 'till they get their hands on him.
* {{Expy}}: Of Dracula's brides, naturally. Yorga's favored bride is even the a blonde one, just as it was in the Dracula story.
* EatsBabies: One scene cut from the film showcased the blonde bride feeding on a baby. It is referenced, however, when Hayes' girlfriend mentions a news report about a baby being found dead in the woods with his neck chewed up and drained of blood.
* HissBeforeFleeing: When Micheal manages to fend off a ambush by a vampire Erica and his red-headed bride. The latter does this before fleeing out of the room. Also inverted when he confront Erica, when he doesn't stake her and leaves the room, she hisses at him.
* HolyBurnsEvil: Like Yorga, they're repelled by crosses. Micheal uses one against the Blonde Bride as well as Yorga which stops them. And in the finale, Erica and the red-headed brides are forced back when they try to attack Micheal and Donna and he flashes it at them, the two even throwing up their arms when he thrusts it at them. As all are newly turned vampire, they lack Yorga's resistance to the crosses.
* ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice: The blonde bride, when Yorga pushes her into Micheal's stake as a distraction.
* LukeIAmYourFather: The blonde bride turns out to be Donna's mother who, at the start of the movie, had died under "mysterious circumstances". In truth, she had been drained by Yorga in secret not long after they started dating.
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: Occurs when Micheal manages to fend off the vamped Erica and the red-headed bride when they try to ambush him and threatens to stake them. The latter then ceases her attack, scowls at him and runs from the room. Likewise, she and Erica quickly back off when Micheal flashes a cross at them at the end of the movie.
* VillainExitStageLeft: The last we see of Erica and the red-headed brides is being backed into a door in the main hall of Yorga's mansion as Micheal flashes his cross at them. Erica opening the door and the two slipping through to escape the holy symbol. Micheal closing and locking it for good measure.

!!! Second movie
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/film_count_yorga_2_return_of_1971mp4_20210205_173126535.jpg]]

* AmazonBrigade: They're more like Yorga's personal army in this film as Yorga had a good number of them before adding Ellen and Mitzi to the group.
* BreakingAndBloodsucking: Yorga sends them after the Nelson family at the start of the film where they promptly break in, kill the the mother and father, turn Ellen and kidnap Cynthia.
* EveryoneLives: Well un-lives anyway. But unlike the first movie, none of them are killed, including Ellen and Mitzi who are inducted into their ranks and live on as walking corpses.
* ImmuneToBullets: When they come after Madden and O' Conner, two of them are shot point blank. Other then putting holes in their stomachs and ruining their gowns, they continue coming after them as if nothing happened.
* ImplacableWoman: Very relentless in this movie once Yorga sets them loose.
* NoSell: A few of them are shot point blank by Madden and O'Conner. They barely even flinch and still keep coming after them.
* OffScreenTeleportation: After Madden and O'Connor meet up with David in a hallway after escaping them, they all suddenly appear out of rooms around the floor, despite being behind the cops a scene before.
* OminousWalk: They never run after their targets, just walking at them in a wordless, almost zombie-like fashion. Best examplifed when Madden and O'Cooner get their attention and when Hayes is cornered in a hallway.
* RiseFromYourGrave: What we see them do at the start of the movie after Yorga calls for them.
* ZergRush: Pretty much what they do when they attack the Nelsons.

!! Characters in the first movie

[[folder: Donna]]
!! Donna
--> '''Played By:''' Donna Anders
A woman who recently lost her mother at the start of the first film. She knows Yorga from the fact that he was her mother's boyfriend before she passed.
----
* [[spoiler: AndThenJohnWasAZombie: Yorga bites her before Micheal can reach her. By the time Micheal does, she's pretty much already become a vampire.]]
* [[spoiler: CorruptTheCutie: By the end the film, she's been turned into a vampire, and her first act is to kill Micheal.]]
* DamselInDistress: Pretty much her main role in the story. [[spoiler: Ultimately becomes a failed example as she's long since undead by the time Micheal reaches her.]]
* {{Expy}}: Of Mina Harker
* [[spoiler: TraitorShot: As Micheal is warding off Erica and the red-headed bride. We get a close up of Erica as she gazes at Donna and then the camera cutting to and lingering on Donna with a rather shadowed look on her face.]]
* [[spoiler: TranshumanTreachery: As soon as she and Michael are alone (after Yorga's brides are chased off), she proceeds to bite and kill Micheal.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Erica]]
!! Erica Landers
--> '''Played By:''' Judy Lang

[[quoteright:300:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cy_01_cy_vmp4_20210105_141659318_2.jpg]]

[[caption-width-right:300: After turning]]

One of Donna's friends and Paul's girlfriend. On the night of the seance, she offers to give Yorga a lift home. From this gesture, Yorga deems her worthy of becoming his bride. After using his powers to cause Paul's van to break down in front of his mansion, he attacks the couple that night, knocking out Paul and leaving Erica helpless to be bitten. This and her sudden change in demeanor alert the other characters to the fact Yorga may not be normal.
----

* CorruptTheCutie: Shown to be a very lively person at the start of the movie. After being bitten and fed on, by movie's end, she's become a walking corpse not afraid to attack her friends.
* TheDitz: Slightly. Before she's bitten she quite perky but, unlike Paul, doesn't find anything creepy about Yorga in the slightest.
* EeriePaleSkinnedBrunette: Once she becomes a vampire naturally.
* {{Expy}}: Of Lucy Westerna.
* FateWorseThanDeath: If her stammering after her brief vampiric episode is any indication, she likely sees becoming a vampire as this since it means she'll be completely acting on her untold impulses to the point she begs to be killed during the blood transfer. But the fact she isn't able to tell her friends what's scaring her prevents them from stopping it from happening, ultimately leading her to becoming what she feared.
* HorribleJudgeOfCharacter: Before she was bitten, she found Yorga charming and a gentleman much to Paul's chagrin who finds something off putting about the man. When they dropped Yorga off at his manor, Yorga invited to the two in for a drink. Erica was more then willing to accept the offer but Paul prevented it. More then likely if Paul had let her, she would've been bitten and turned right then and there.
* HolyBurnsEvil: Naturally after becoming a vampire, she susceptible to crosses. Near the end of the movie she and the red-headed bride go after Micheal and Donna only to be forced back by a cross Micheal brandishes. Erica cringing every time he thrusts it at the two.
* IAmAMonster: During a blood transfusion, she starts talking gibberish, pleading with Paul to forgive her and even ''begging'' to be killed as if she knows what she's becoming. When questioned, however, she can't exactly state what it is that's happening, just that it scares her.
* ICannotSelfTerminate: Oddly enough, after Micheal fends the red-headed bride and her off, she doesn't run as her fellow bride does and actually allows Micheal the chance to stake her. He ultimately can't do it however.
* KillMeNowOrForeverStayYourHand: As stated above, she actually gives Micheal the opportunity to kill her. Despite seeing that the Erica he knows is clearly long dead and is now a walking corpse corrupted by Yorga and under his control, he can't bring himself to do it. She responds by hissing as she watches him go, indicating the last vestige of the old Erica is gone and only the vampire side of her remains. Indeed. at the end of the movie, even though Yorga is killed, she and the red-headed bride continue to come after Micheal. This time, she doesn't hesitate to attack him.
* KillTheCutie[=/=]CorruptTheCutie: Before she's bitten she rather perky and sweet. After taking Yorga's bite the first time, she becomes completely stoic until the vampire parts of her surface, making her wild and seductive for brief bouts. Once she completely turns, she is nothing more than a ravenous monster loyal only to Yorga.
* MeaningfulLook: At the end of the movie, we get a close up of her face as she stares ominously at Donna while she and the red-headed bride get pushed back by Micheal's cross. [[spoiler: Indicating she knows that Donna's now a vampire.]]
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: When Michael and Paul come to check on her, the vampirism makes her act erratic (aggressive one second, lustful the next) before she snaps out of it, sees she's holding her dead kitten that she was briefly feeding on and breaks down crying.
* TranshumanTreachery: Once she becomes a vampire, she doesn't hesitate to attack Hayes along with the other brides when Yorga awakens them. Likewise, she gleefully tries to ambush Micheal when he comes across Hayes' dying body and, at the end of the movie, comes after Donna and Micheal as they're trying to leave the manor [[spoiler: despite her master, Yorga, being dead.]]
* UndeadBarefooter: Along with Yorga's other brides, she goes completely barefoot once turned.
* UndeathlyPallor: After she turns, it's very noticeable.
* VirusVictimSymptoms: A very gradual transformation: She becomes listless after she's bitten, and trashes her household as if she can't recognize anything modern (when Paul calls to check on her, she just drops the phone to the floor; a POV shot shows her looking at it blankly as he tries to call out to her.) She also feeds on her pet kitten, becomes downright aggressive when Michal and Paul arrive to check on her then suddenly switching to a more lustful tone before snapping out of it, and seems to be fully aware she's turning into a monster when she briefly comes to her senses.
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: [[spoiler: She's still alive in her undead state at the end of the movie and is last seen being chased into a lower room along with the red-headed bride by Micheal's cross.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Micheal]]
!! Michael 'Mike' Thompson
--> '''Played By:''' Michael Macready
Donna's boyfriend. He becomes concerned for her after her mother dies.
----
* CannotKillTheirLovedOnes: Attempted to stake a vampirized Erica when she attacks him, with her even standing still to give him the opportunity to end her undead existence. However, he can't bring himself to do it, and leaves her be as she hisses at him.
* {{Expy}}: Of Jonathan Harker.
* [[spoiler: TheHeroDies: [[DownerEnding By his vamped girlfriend no less.]]]]
* HopeSpot: Manages to save Donna, kill Yorga, and fend off the remaining two brides. [[spoiler: Then Donna transforms into a vampire and attacks him while his guard is down.]]
* YouAreTooLate: He manages to survive Yorga's traps and even personally kills Brudah and Yorga himself. But by then his friend Paul has long been killed, he's arrives too late to save Hayes from Yorga's female servants, finds that Erica has by inducted into the undead, [[spoiler:and, just when he thinks he's saved Donna, she's revealed to have been turned into a vampire and promptly attacks him when they're alone.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Hayes]]
!! Dr. James 'Jim' Hayes
--> '''Played By:''' Roger Perry

Another of Donna's friends and a local doctor. After inspecting the mysterious bite wounds on Erica's neck, he begins to suspect that a vampire is at play and tries to counteract it the best he can.
----
* CassandraTruth: Tries to call the police and warn them of Yorga being a vampire. But due to similar calls, he's just branded as a prankster.
* TheCasanova: Implied, he has a Swedish assistant whom it's implied he hired for her looks. And later seen sleeping with very attractive red-head.
* {{Expy}}: Of Van Helsing
* EatenAlive: In a sense; the brides swarm him and pretty much drain him once they get a hold of him, all while he's screaming.
* DeerInTheHeadlights: He actually does have Yorga where he wants him by flashing the cross. But Yorga gets too much into his head that he's at a loss on what to do next and hesitates. Allowing Yorga's brides to jump him.
* YouAreTooLate: He figures when Erica and Paul go missing that Yorga has them in his manor and turned them. He's halfway right. By the time Micheal and he get to the manor, Paul has long been dispatched and his body rotting in the lower areas of the manor, though Hayes never sees this. However he gets confirmation on his suspicions about Erica when Yorga offers to show him real proof of vampires and lures him to his throne room where Hayes sees Erica sleeping among Yorga's brides. Indeed finding out she's beyond saving when he checks her body for a pulse and finds none.
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Paul]]
!! Paul
--> '''Played By:''' Michael Murphy

Erica's boyfriend, on the night of the seance he, at Erica's behest, agrees to give Yorga a lift to his home. However Yorga uses his power to cause his van to break down and force the two to stay the night outside his manor. Yorga attacks the two, knocking out Michael and leaving Erica helpless to be bitten. Unaware of what happened the night before, he likewise worries for Erica and her new bite wounds.
----
* BodyHorror: Micheal comes across his barely-living body while exploring the castle, and sees that he's been promptly mutilated, likely by Yorga's brides. Including, by that point, Erica... his own girlfriend.
* {{Expy}}: Of Quincy Morris.
* ProperlyParanoid: He's wary of Yorga from the start and declines an invitation for a drink inside Yorga's home after they drop him off despite Erica's wanting to accept. Likewise finding the area pretty spooky and trying to leave as quickly as possible.
* TooDumbToLive: Despite Hayes telling him that Yorga is a vampire, after Yorga kidnaps Erica, he rushes over to Yorga's place ''without any backup'' whatsoever- ''at night'' no less. Yorga's pretty much waiting for him once he gets there and kills him with little to no effort.
* TheWorfEffect: Poor guy gets tossed around like ragdoll by Yorga, first at the beginning of the movie where he tries to defend Erica and again when trying to go rescue her after he abducts her from their house.
[[/folder]]

!! Characters in the second film

[[folder: Cynthia]]
!! Cynthia Nelson
--> '''Played By:''' Creator/MarietteHartley

The heroine of the second film and a teacher at the local orphanage. Yorga takes a liking to her after meeting her at a fundraiser and has her kidnapped and brainwashed into believing she was the survivor of a car crash that killed her family, hoping that he can charm her enough to willingly become a vampire.
----
* BigNo: After [[spoiler: Baldwin turns after they've killed Yorga and promptly bites her]]
* DamselInDistress: Virtually kidnapped by Yorga and brainwashed into trying to love him and willingly becoming a vampire.
* LaserGuidedAmnesia: Yorga has the brides knock her out when he sends them to attack her family and brainwashing her to think she has amnesia. But as she explore more of his manor, the memories slowly start coming back.
* PyrrhicVictory: [[spoiler: She regains her memories and avenges her family by killing Yorga. Only to be bitten by her savior not seconds after.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder: David]]
!! David Baldwin
--> '''Played By:''' Roger Perry

Cynthia's boyfriend, after Nelson mysterously go missing during the night. He begins to suspect that Yorga might be involved.
----
* AgentMulder: He's the first of the human group to outrite state he believes Yorga is a vampire, lampshading how ridiculous it seems but pointing out the evidence that backs up his suspicion.
* [[spoiler: AndThenJohnWasAZombie: No sooner then when they kill Yorga, David turns completely and promptly bites Cynthia.]]
* CassandraTruth: He's the first one to suggest Yorga's actually a vampire. He's right.
* {{Expy}}: Of Van Helsing once again, as his different character was in the first film, although this film also makes him a bit of Jonathan Harker as his girlfriend is the woman Yorga is eager to turn.
* HopeSpot: [[spoiler: He somehow manages to get past the group of a vampire brides Yorga sics him with. But it's later shown he did not make it out unscathed, as he turns shortly after Yorga dies.]]
* [[spoiler: TranshumanTreachery: Despite being determined to kill Yorga, he succumbs to the vampirism just after Yorga's death, and instantly proceeds to bite Cynthia.]]
* UndeathlyPallor: [[spoiler: When he turns, he's likewise the same pale skin as the other vampires.]]
* UnexplainedRecovery: At the end of the film, he's cornered by Yorga's brides and that seems to be the end for him. But, surprisingly, he manages to make his way past them and continues his pursuit of Yorga with no explanation of how he managed. [[spoiler: Turns out, the brides did manage to turn him. The vampirism only kicked in once he and Cynthia managed to kill Yorga, after which point he succumbs to the undead curse. You can see the bite marks on his face when he vamps out.]]
* YouLookFamiliar: Played by Roger Perry, who played Hayes in the first movie.
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Rev. Thomas]]
!! Rev. Thomas
--> '''Played By:''' Tom Toner

The local priest and headmaster of the orphanage.
----
* DefiantToTheEnd: As stupid as his death was, you gotta admit, he kept cursing Yorga's name till the end.
* CaptainObvious: As he's sinking, says this gem:
---> '''Rev. Thomas:''' ''(To Yorga)'' Y-You never intended to give any money to the orphanage! Did you?!
* HorribleJudgeOfCharacter: Despite being told that Yorga is a vampire and being sent to distract him, Thomas falls for his charm and informs Yorga of the group's plan to invade the house. Yorga rewards him by leading him into a quicksand trap.
* UndignifiedDeath: As he's sinking, he pulls out the cross-- which does him no good, at that point.
* TooDumbToLive: Was told point-blank that Yorga may be a vampire or, at the least, that he was involved in Cynthia's disappearance and to try to keep him busy. The dope winds up falling for Yorga's lies very quickly once he's alone with him.
* VaguenessIsComing: Comments on the "Santa Anna Winds" at the start of the movie, which he claims will bring about evil. Sure enough, Yorga arrives in the town.
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Tommy]]
!! Tommy
--> '''Played By:''' Philip Frame

One of the orphans at Cynthia's orphanage. At the start of the movie, he plays in the local cemetery, unaware that Yorga is there summoning his brides to rise from their graves. He flees when he see the vampire women, only to run into Yorga who brainwashes him into being his unwilling servant.
----
* AxCrazy: Very low key example, but we see that he's more than willing to kill after Yorga brainwashes him. At one point he nearly murders a fellow orphan via a rock, and would have, if Jennifer hadn't caught him. [[spoiler: Later, he crosses over completely when he murders Lt. Madden.]]
* BrainwashedAndCrazy: Has the misfortune of running into Yorga while playing in the cemetery. Yorga does...''something'' to him to make him evil. [[spoiler: And it's not undone by the end of the movie either.]]
* DeathGlare: Gives Jennifer a cold one after she slaps him when he denies knowing anything about the Nelson's disappearances.
* TheMole: Acts as one within the orphanage so Yorga can track what the protagonists are doing and take preemptive measures.
* TheRenfield: Essentially a secondary one for Yorga, behind Brudah. What makes it disturbing is that he's still quite young, but has had his morality stripped away.
* ScreamDiscretionShot: After spotting Yorga's brides crawling out of their graves. He makes to run for it and was on the verge of escaping if he hadn't ran into Yorga himself who's already in his vamp GameFace. Tommy screams at the sight before the movie cuts to the fundraiser scene before we can see what Yorga did to Tommy.
* TooDumbToLive: Not that he knew it then, but he wound up in Yorga's clutches because he was playing in the nearby cemetery when Yorga summoned his brides. What kind of child plays in a cemetery anyway?
* UsedToBeASweetKid: At the start of the movie, he was as normal as any kid. After meeting Yorga, he suddenly became more stoic and distant, remaining completely unfazed when Yorga's brides raid the Nelson's home, fed on the family, and kidnap Cynthia. Later, he leads Jason to his death without a hint of remorse. Heck, near the end of the movie, Jennifer catches him getting into a fight with an orphan and on the verge of ''killing him with a rock'', which he would have done if Tommy hadn't noticed her.
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Ellen]]
!! Ellen Nelson
--> '''Played By:''' Karen Ericson

Cynthia's younger sister, during the night when Yorga sends his brides after the family, she is bitten and killed by one of them. Later becoming a vampire herself.
----
* BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor: During the fundraising party, when the discussion turns to vampires, she states that she thinks vampires are cool and wishes they were real. Not long after, Yorga sends his brides upon the Nelson family and takes care that she's adopted into their ranks.
* ButtMonkey: During the brides attack, she's seen trying to run only to run into two brides blocking a doorway to every exit she goes to before she's grabbed and wrestled to the floor. With the other family member trying and failing to fend off the other brides, no one can help her and she's eventually pinned down and bitten from behind, being the first to be fed on and killed, with there being special attention to the bride who fed on her rising off her prone body as the attack on the other family continues.
* EvilLaugh: After she turns, Tommy lures Jason to the manor and into a room where she is. When he goes to her, she just laughs as she watches as her fellow brides attack him.
--> '''Ellen''': ''(To Jason)'' You're frighten. You don't love your Ellen anymore. ''(Start cackling)''
--> '''Jason''': Ellen? Ellen please. STOP IT!
--> ''(She just laughs even harder as her fangs become more pronounced. Even more so when three of Yorga's brides attack Jason)''
* UndeathlyPallor: Once she turns, she is of course, noticeably pallor as a vampire.
* TranshumanTreachery: Once turned, she participates in the trap to ambush her boyfriend Jason (even laughing as it happens), is one of the first to feed on his body afterwards, and psychologically tortures an amnesia ridden Cynthia along with the other brides as Cynthia is trying to find a way out.
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Jennifer]]
!! Jennifer
--> '''Played By:''' Yvonne Wilder

The Nelson mute maid in their household.
----
* CassandraTruth: She comes across the slaughter of the Nelson family the next morning but when she calls the police, Bruddah has cleared away their bodies before they arrive. That Tommy refutes her claims does not help matters.
* CuteMute: Can't talk, which doesn't help when she's trying to explain things after the murders.
* ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice: [[spoiler: Killed by Tommy via knife as revenge for slapping him.]]
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Jason]]
!! Jason
--> '''Played By:''' David Lampson

Cynthia's boyfriend, who is likewise puzzled by the Nelson's disappearance and tries to find out what has happened to them.
----
* EatenAlive: Choked out by Yorga, then fed to the brides.
* TooDumbToLive: Following after Tommy without telling the others that Tommy "supposedly" found Cynthia was ''not a good idea''.
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Mitzi]]
!! Mitzi
--> '''Played By:''' Jesse Welles

A local girl of the city, supposely one of Cynthia's friends. However Yorga targets her as she's head to the orphanage fundraiser.
----
* EeriePaleSkinnedBrunette: After she turns.
* {{Foreshadowing}}: Enters the film in a skimpy runway model costume with the words "Ms. Naughty" on her banner. If that's not a sign she was destined to become undead in this vampire film, then we don't know what is.
* MsFanservice: Especially at the start, when she's dressed as a runway model for a costume party. No wonder Yorga targeted her from the get go.
* TranshumanTreachery: Feeds on Jason and attacks Madden and O'Conner along with the other brides. As well as being one of the first vampire brides to close in on Baldwin when they corner him.
* VampireRefugee: Bitten by Yorga at the start of the film, she isn't seen till the middle half, still acting out of sorts until Yorga comes to claim her.
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Madden and O'Conner]]
!! Madden and O'Conner
--> '''Played By:''' Rudy De Luca (Madden) and Creator/CraigTNelson (O'Conner)

Two local and rather bumbling cops that are looking in to the Nelsons missing case.
----

* AgentScully: Both Madden and O'Connor in the early goings of the film, though O'Connor is much more so than Madden. Once they're confronted by Yorga's vampire brides in the climax, they become AgentMulders in a Hell of a hurry.
* ImpaledWithExtremePrejudice: [[spoiler: Madden is stabbed by Tommy]].
* OhCrap: When trying to "talk" to the vampire brides, they succeed only in making the group come after them and are forced to run for their lives. Even moreso when they confront the group again and find that bullets have no effect on them.
* PoliceAreUseless: Then again, they are dealing with vampires, so....
* TooDumbToLive: Trying to talk with with the vampire brides about their investigation. Though in fairness they didn't know when they were undead until the women started walking toward them without responding to their questions. And later shooting two of the brides who don't even register the bullets.
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere:
--> '''O'Conner''': What we running for?
--> '''Madden''': 'Cause we're scared!
[[/folder]]

[[folder: Witch]]
!! Witch
--> '''Played By:''' Corinne Conley

A nameless witch whom lives within Yorga's manor and even has a room of her own. Yorga often comes to her for advice on how to handle matters.
----
* EnemyRisingBehind: [[spoiler: After O'Conner is separated from Madden via a shutter, she instantly glides up to him from behind and bites his neck.]]
* GhostlyGlide: Her appearance already made her seem unnatural, but when she goes to bite [[spoiler: O'Conner]], she doesn't run but ''glides'' up to him from behind.
* ForYourOwnGood: She warns Yorga that if he doesn't bite Cynthia soon, Cynthia will regain her memories and kill him. When he stalls on doing so, she tries to kill Cynthia herself, only for Yorga to stop her.
* TheFaceless: For most of the film, she hidden by shadows or beneath cloaks. Her face only revealed when she attacks O'Conner.
* MysteriousPast: It's obvious Yorga and she have history since were shown him talking to her about Cynthia and her trying to kill Cynthia herself later. Unlike the brides, who are stationed in his throne room until he unleashes them through the manor, she has her own room within the manor which looks more like a hut than anything.
* NoNameGiven: Just listed as "witch" in the credits, she's never named.
* TheReveal: Not surprisingly she's a vampire herself. In this film, it's implied she was the one who turned Yorga. [[spoiler: And in fact, could be his mother.]]
