!! Main Characters
[[folder: Tropes applied to all characters]]
* ADayInTheLimelight: In the webtoon, each character has an episode dedicated to them except Berecca, Burton, and Ron, who are all covered in the CGI prologue short instead.
* TheAce: Being a descendant of a ninja clan means this is a plus. Special mention goes to Kappei, Burton and Ron.
* BadassAdorable: They're all kids (or in the bodies of kids), but they're still plenty capable of kicking ass when the situation calls for it. Their ninja ancestry and Ninja-Gum helps.
* ChildishToothGap: The cast does not have the straightest of teeth on account of them being or had their bodies turned into that of a child through the use of Ninja-Gum.
* FountainOfYouth: Berecca, Burton, Ron and Jane are all adults who turned into children as a side-effect of chewing Ninja-Gum.
* FourTemperamentEnsemble:
** Van and Berecca (Choleric)
** Lucy and Burton (Sanguine)
** Kappei and Jane (Phlegmatic)
** Emma and Ron (Melancholic)
** The Mascot Gumchi (Eclectic)
* HighlyVisibleNinja: All of their normal outfits are brightly-colored and far from stealthy, despite them training to become ninja. Their training gear consists of a more traditional black attire however.
* ImprobableWeaponUser: All of the main characters can utilize their Ninja-Gum to for all sorts of weapons, ranging from ninja-appropriated ones like [[KatanasAreBetter katanas]] and [[ThisIsNotADrill drills]], to ''downright outrageous'' like [[KillerYoyo yo-yos]] and a freakin' ''stop sign''!!
* ItRunsInTheFamily: Shinobi powers are a genetic factor as are some physical traits seen in the bit of family shown in the series thus far.
** Van's parents also have purple streaks in their hair.
** Lucy's mother has red eyes.
** Berecca's father has pink hair.
* NinjaSchool: Each of the eight characters have some connection to WNA HQ and Academy or reason to go there or take part in Ninjala. Van is training while trying to find out why his dad was attacked. Lucy was encouraged by her parents to understand her power and make friends like her. Ron and Jane are part of the WNA in some fashion and implied to have been sent to research the development of the ninja-gum; they attend the school after taking Ninja-Gum to hide from WNA after they start hunting them. Berecca and Burton hope to find a way to undo the AgeLift side effects of taking Ninja-Gum.
* PaperThinDisguise: Possibly implied for the de-aged half of the cast as they still seem to be using their given names.
* RagtagBunchOfMisfits: To summarize the full team, we have: a ninja slacker with a talent for basketball, a no-nonsense scientist, a wacky UsefulNotes/ThomasEdison enthusiast, an [[AntiHero anti-heroic]] DoubleReverseQuadrupleAgent, a CuteAndPsycho girl with an EyepatchOfPower hiding her MagicalEye, a [[TheAce ninja prodigy]] from Japan, a [[GeniusSweetTooth hacker with a penchant for sweets]], and a [[DanceBattler street dancer moonlighting as a vigilante]]. [[MoveAlongNothingToSeeHere Nothing out of ordinary here]]...
* TechnicolorEyes: Downplayed. Shinobi all have a small pink dot reflected in their pupils, emphasis on small. It's easier to see in the 2D animations, but it is technically present in the 3D models.
* TokenAdult: Burton, Berecca, Ron and Jane were basically this, both in figurative and ''literal'' sense, to the other ninja kids like Van, Kappei, Lucy and Emma.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Van]]
!!Van

%%[[caption-width-right:350:some caption text]]
->'''Voiced by:''' Becky Robinson (English), Creator/YumikoKobayashi (Japanese, animated short)
* PurpleIsPowerful: A majority of his hair is purple and he has ninja abilities in his blood. If it wasn't for the fact he likes to slack off he could probably be a powerful force with the proper training.
* TheRival: He is this to Kappei.
* SeriesMascot: Shares this role with Berecca and Gumchi in various promotional material.
* ShonenHair: Next to Berecca, Van has the most anime hairstyle out of the eight characters.
* StockShonenHero: Loading screens in the game state that he gets described as being like the hero of a shonen manga. His white and purple AnimeHair helps.
* TaughtByExperience: In episode 6 of the anime, he's the only kid who's used Ninja Gum before, not counting Burton and Berecca who were adults prior to chewing the gum after making it.
* YouthfulFreckles: Has these around his cheeks combined with a BlushSticker.

[[/folder]]

[[folder:Berecca]]
!!Berecca
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/0a474735_21d9_4fa4_865f_48b2fec6b3ac.png]]
%%[[caption-width-right:350:some caption text]]
->'''Voiced by:''' Kailey Snider (English), Creator/AkariKitou (Japanese, animated short)
* AerithAndBob: "Berecca" is a rather strange name in comparison to most other cast members even if a simple letter swap can turn it into the much more normal-sounding "Rebecca".
* DelinquentHair: Far from a delinquent, but sports a huge swirly pompadour.
* DisappearedDad: Her father was a WNA scientist, and was alledgly killed in an experiment gone wrong. [[spoiler:The anime reveals that he actually performed a HeroicSacrifice to save his colleague from the Shadow Ninja attacking them]].
* DoubleKnockout: [[spoiler:She and Naomi end up knocking each other out in the Ninjala Tournament, making Burton the winner of the round by default for being the last one standing]].
* LockedOutOfTheLoop: After seeing Burton and Ron fight, she learns that the former has been researching how it awakens hidden ninja powers and create weapons. She's upset that she is out of the loop and wonders if her father is aware.
* SeriesMascot: She's this along with Van and Gumchi.
* SirSwearsALot: A female example of this trope, in chapter two of the Ninjala story mode Berecca says "Damn it!" while fighting enemy Ninjas. Makes sense considering she used to be an adult.
* TomboyishPonytail: Along with her pompadour.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Burton]]
!!Burton
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/04263696_1191_4d7d_a4ef_0fc4b869f7a1.png]]
%%[[caption-width-right:350:some caption text]]
->'''Voiced by:''' Creator/MaxMittelman (English), Creator/TakahiroSakurai (Japanese, animated short)
* DitzyGenius: He makes plenty of mistakes and at times comes off as one of the more oblivious ones, but in the end he's still leagues ahead of the kids when it comes to intelligence.
* DumbBlonde: Averted. He might have spiky blonde hair but he's a scientist.
* FanBoy: Is this to Thomas Edison. Loading screen blurbs have a chance of detailing it goes to the point his level of respect includes directly quoting and having posters of the scientist.
* HiddenDepths: He's shown to be able to defend himself in his fight against Ron in the first episode of the anime. His ninja heritage and the power of the Ninja-Gum likely helped.
* HistoricalCharactersFictionalRelative: Is a descendant of Hattori Hanzō.
* ItsAllMyFault: Burton admits to feeling responsible for the Space Ninja attacks that have been happening
* LockedOutOfTheLoop: Does this to Berecca about the truth behind the ninja-gum research because he knew she wouldn't be on board. She furiously agrees after the fact.
* SirSwearsALot: A G-rated example of this trope. Burton says "Who the hell are you?" in the prologue episode and in the game says "crap". He is only one of two characters in the main cast so far to say these "naughty" words, the other being Berecca. Makes sense considering he used to be an adult.
* TheSmartGuy: He's in charge of researching the secrets of the ninja-gum, and is implied to know more than he lets on.
* SmartPeopleWearGlasses: Is the only member of the main cast who wears glasses constantly and definitely knows a few things.

[[/folder]]

[[folder:Ron]]
!!Ron
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/c515859e_7c73_46ba_b898_afb906f960ef.png]]
%%[[caption-width-right:350:some caption text]]
->'''Voiced by:''' Creator/RegiDavis (English), Creator/HirokiYasumoto (Japanese, animated short)
* BecomingTheMask: He started out acting as a friend to Burton and Berecca so that he could steal the Ninja Gum formula for Allen. After Allen betrays him and a series of events leads him to teaming up with Jane, the two becoming children, and joining the WNA as students, he tries to keep interactions with Burton and Berecca at a minimum secretly fearing that the two would try to get back at him if he let his guard down. Later on, he even admits that he pretended to be a friend to Burton, but by Episode 26, he truly accepts Burton and Berecca as friends.
* BigEater: PlayedForLaughs in episode 10 of the anime, where he eats a number of large foods. ''[[ExaggeratedTrope In one bite each]].''
* DefrostingIceKing: When he first joined the WNA as a student along with Jane, he kept it extremely ambiguous to Burton and Berecca whether or not he was the same Ron and generally acted cold to everyone, making it appear like Ron is planning on assassinating Burton and Berecca at some point while in reality Ron doesn't want to let his guard down around Burton. As the time went on, however, it became evident that he wasn't planning on harming either of them anytime soon and was even helping them out when they were in danger. While he kept up his cold demeanor, he appears to be more appreciative of Burton cooperating with him. In episode 20, he finally confirms to Burton that he's the same Ron, showing that he trusts Burton, and in episode 26, he accepts Burton and Berecca's friendship with a genuine smile.
* ExperiencedProtagonist: He's already a trained ninja by the start of the series.
* NoNameGiven[=/=]TheUnReveal: When Ron starts attacking, Burton demands to know who he is. It turns out "Ron" is a fake name, as he is forbidden from revealing his true name.
* ProperlyParanoid: In episode 11, in the wilderness he's cautious about everyone's surroundings even though they're just in a test. It turns out that he was right about being careful: a group of ninja assassins attempt to kill Burton twice. The second time, Ron gives Burton a weapon to help fight back.
** Comes into play again in Episode 15, where he get suspicious of the new teacher and currently guesses that he's an assassin.
* SomethingOnlyTheyWouldSay: How he finally confirms to Burton that he is indeed the same Ron who did experiments with him in the anime.
-->'''Ron:''' Burton! We didn't perform 2,502 experiments.\
'''Burton:''' Huh?\
'''Ron:''' It was 2,50'''''3'''''.
* TheStoic: Doesn't show too much emotion. Even after his CharacterDevelopment, he remains indifferent to many things that catches the interest of the other characters.

[[folder:Lucy]]
!!Lucy
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/0fa31d68_6a54_46b7_bd18_a693f748f2b2.png]]
%%[[caption-width-right:350:some caption text]]
->'''Voiced by:''' Creator/RebaBuhr (English), Creator/AoiYuuki (Japanese, animated short)
* AnimeHair: She wears her her hair in two massive twintails that nearly reach the ground.
* AntiHero: Despite being a good girl, she has a number of AxCrazy tendencies that don't go unnoticed.
* BloodKnight: She'll look for literally any reason to fight. As the anime shows, Lucy takes almost sadistic pleasure in fighting her enemies, and she's ''not'' subtle about it. She's constantly giggling while in combat, puts herself into danger headfirst regularly, and even disobeys direct orders just so she can have a chance to rip her opponent to shreds, not thinking nor caring about the consequences of her actions.
* CombatTentacles: She has the ability to turn metal objects such as street signs or railings into tentacles that she can control at will. However, the game doesn't mention of this ability and it only appears in the anime.
* CuteAndPsycho: Wears torn punk clothes, has an unhinged and borderline-sadistic personality, and promo art shows her carrying a stop sign as a weapon. The anime reveals what led her to [[ThenLetMeBeEvil go this route]].
* CuteLittleFang: Her whole set of teeth are generally stylized this way in official artwork for the game.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: Not exactly dark, but definitely troubled; the power of her MagicEye labeled her as a monster even though it was used to save people (specifically her two first friends). She confined herself in her room, and wore an eyepatch, until her mother enrolled her to WNA Academy to train and accept herself.
* EvilLaugh: Both in the game and the anime.
* {{Expy}}: She looks and acts like a heroic, younger version of Harley Quinn.
* ExtraOreDinary: She has the ability to manipulate metal objects such and street signs and chains, though sometimes she's able to manipulate other kinds of objects like dodgeballs as well.
* EyepatchOfPower: A cosmetic example. She wears it to hide her red eye that displays the abilities she inherited from her mother's shinobi ancestry. Whenever it comes off, it means it's time to ''run''.
* FashionableAsymmetry: Her main outfit does this through the use of fishnets on her left arm and right leg.
* HotBlooded: Boy, is she ever.
* ImprobableWeaponUser: Is often portrayed as fighting with a stop sign. The anime shows she obtained it during a confrontation with some bad guys. It’s even her gum weapon of choice with the Scrap Saber.
* LetsGetDangerous: You can count on Lucy to go ballistic on the enemies with her powers if the situation seems impossible to handle, provided that there are enough resources available nearby.
* LikeMotherLikeDaughter: [[spoiler:Turns out, Lucy's mom used to be as wild as Lucy's current self during her youth, something which catches Lucy off guard]].
* MagicalEye: Possibly the source of her hidden power, usually covered by her EyepatchOfPower.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: Her [[MagicEye right eye]] is red, and glows brightly whenever her powers are active.
* ShrinkingViolet: She became reserved and distanced herself from others after her powers awakened and was labeled a monster by those around her, even transferring schools to prevent the stigma. She becomes more open when she meets Chloe, then drops it completely when she joins the WNA Academy and takes on her [[CuteAndPsycho new persona]].
* ThenLetMeBeEvil: Subverted. She's not so much evil, but definitely crazy. After being labeled a monster and taking some time to think about it, she eventually decides to stop caring what people think and embraces it fully, taking on a whole new persona and becoming far more chaotic. A monster kid with some crazy power is ''"exactly who she's supposed to be"'' according to her, and she changes her appearance to match.
* TroublingUnchildlikeBehavior: Deciding that she would be the psychotic monster everyone who saw her powers labeled her as did little good for her impulsiveness when it comes to ''anything'' involving trouble.
* TrueBeautyIsOnTheInside: {{Downplayed}}. Her terrifying powers may have been what had driven away most of her old friends, but [[spoiler:Chloe, despite being somewhat traumatized by what happened on the day with the car accident, was relieved when she learned that Lucy had used her powers to save her life and later wrote a letter about how her powers only defined part of her character and that she hopes to see her again]]. On a similar note, [[spoiler:Lucy's parents don't mind that Lucy turned CuteAndPsycho since she's getting along with her new friends just fine (it also partially has to do with the fact that Lucy's mom used to act the same way as well]].
* UsedToBeASweetKid: Until the incident that awakened her power. Jump to present time, and she's become far more chaotic.
* YouMonster[=/=]IAmAMonster: The source of her DarkAndTroubledPast and what led her to be CuteAndPsycho. It got to the point where she eventually accepts it and it becomes part of her persona.
--> '''Lucy''': A monster? ''Sounds good to me!''

[[/folder]]

[[folder:Kappei]]
!!Kappei
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/be463602_d6e8_46fa_b6bd_e7d37a96f1dd.png]]
%%[[caption-width-right:350:some caption text]]
->'''Voiced by:''' Creator/KathSoucie (English), Creator/AyumuMurase (Japanese, animated short)
* BookDumb: Despite being diligent in his training at swordfighting he's still just a kid and can sometimes get confused at what some words mean.
* ChildishToothGap: Kappei notably has this to the point of missing one of his teeth.
* ChildrenAreInnocent: Is said to be very innocent and childlike, with a youthful appearance to match.
* FriendToAllLivingThings: Due to him and his family protecting Gumchi from those who wish to take advantage of his power, Kappei has developed a very close bond with the extraterrestrial being and is fiercely protective of him.
* GoodScarsEvilScars: Probably just scratches due to the fact he does have a bandage on his nose but he has an X-Shaped marks below his left eye.
* LoinCloth: Van unfortunately found out he wears this style of underwear.
* SignatureHeadgear: One of his signature features is wearing a baseball cap.
* TheRival: Is this to Van.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Emma]]
!!Emma
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/47540eff_28a5_474e_91cf_b8ed69bfefef.png]]
%%[[caption-width-right:350:some caption text]]
->'''Voiced by:''' Creator/KimberlyBrooks (English), Creator/MegumiHan (Japanese, animated short)
* AmbiguouslyBrown: While not as dark as Ron, she does have a darker skin tone compared to the rest of the main cast and her hair is in long dreads.
* CoolBoard: Uses the Matsuri Board, a Ninja-Gum skateboard weapon, as her weapon of choice. She also uses it to get around quickly.
* ConvenientlyAnOrphan: She was an orphan living at an orphanage before attending WNA. What happened to her parents is unknown.
* DanceBattler: She has tremendous acrobatic skills and is able to supply a perfect sense of rhythm when she is fighting. She also spends her time street performing while scanning for trouble.
* GenkiGirl: as her description states, she has a childlike aura that’s full of hope, passion, and confidence.
* GratuitousEnglish: In the anime, she regularly inserts English words or phrases in her speech.
* InnocentBlueEyes: She has blue eyes and is a benevolent vigilante who wants to help however she can.
* ParentalAbandonment: She's an orphan. The anime implies that something happened to Emma's parents when she was young.
* SuperHearing: She can hear from great distances, which allows her to listen in on shady deals and meetings and prepare to intercept them the following night.
* ValleyGirl: Is prone to saying words like "fam" and "lit" in the English dub of the webtoon.
* [[VigilanteMan Vigilante Girl]]: Uses her abilities to protect the weak, her heroics and her style of fighting is what made her so famed around the world and is what made a WNA division recruit Emma into Ninjala.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Jane]]
!!Jane
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ff20994c_a219_4a70_aad0_09ab787bca22.png]]
%%[[caption-width-right:350:some caption text]]
->'''Voiced by:''' Creator/AshlyBurch (English), Creator/JunkoMinagawa (Japanese)
* AgeInappropriateDress: Although she technically isn't a child this trope still applies. Her outfit looks very sexy and risque for the age she is now posing as.
* BadassLongcoat: She has a beige one that she wears as an adult while outside.
* BecauseImGoodAtIt: An expert hacker. The moral implications vary, but she has explicitly and repeatedly stated that ''"she doesn't do dirty jobs"''.
* CoolShades: Has a round white-framed pair of sunglasses usually worn above her eyes.
* EveryoneHasStandards: Jane's an ethical (legal) hacker, so she draws a line at anything she considers too "dirty" to do, especially if it endangers others' lives.
* HollywoodHacking: Relies on her laptop for her hacking job.
* SheKnowsTooMuch: She's ordered to be killed off alongside Ron after digging too deep into the WNA's secrets.
* LosingAShoeInTheStruggle: In the webtoon, she gets her heels stuck in gum after being attacked by WNA ninjas and had to pull out one of them after they capture her.
* SkewedPriorities: Though she's surprised she turned into a kid in the webtoon, she becomes more concerned about getting her laptop back.
* StumbledIntoThePlot:
** In the webtoon, after discovering that WNA's intelligence division wants data from its research department, she investigates the lab shown in the files she extracted; the same lab where her friend Ron is stationed. She ends up turning into a child from ninja-gum, nearly gets killed by her employer, and has her laptop stolen. She now joins Ron in uncovering a possible conspiracy within WNA.
** In the anime, Jane catches a secret transmission between the WNA Intelligence Division leader Allen and the Komerican president Harold Cook, which is immediately detected by WNA. They send a group of assailants to kill Jane for learning too much, and she has to escape with the help of Ron.
* SweetTooth: She has a habit of eating loads of candy, emptying an entire container during work. It also leads her to eat ninja-gum by mistake and turn her into a kid in the webtoon.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: As mentioned above she has a liking to candy to the point she eats it out of habit during her hacking sessions.
* UnwillingSuspension: When the enemy ninjas held her captive in the anime, they tie both her wrists and legs and suspends the former on a kunai stuck to a wall, resulting in her hanging with her wrists stretched above her head. She only managed to set herself free, via from a timely conversion to a child.

!!Supporting Characters
[[folder: Gumchi]]
->'''Voiced by:''' Creator/StephanieSoutherland (English), Honoka Inoue (Japanese)
* BizarreAlienBiology: Resembles a wad of gum, [[{{Irony}}which is fitting for a game about gum]].
* CameFromTheSky: He's said to have came to Earth by meteorite.
* EvilDetectingDog: In the anime, he dances every time the Space Ninja are attacking the students.
* MacGuffinSuperPerson: Possesses the power to unlock the power of the Shinobi. The manga has Kappei taking a literal bite of him to accomplish this due to being practically made of gum. The anime short allowed him to act as Kappei's weapon. He has been protected by Kappei's family from those who selfishly want his power.
* MentorMascot: Serves as this to Kappei, helping him find Genryusai, his grandfather's brother.
* ReallySevenHundredYearsOld: Said to have came to Earth centuries ago.
* SeriesMascot: Is this for the series, along with Van and Berecca.
* {{Shapeshifting}}: Kappei's animated short reveals that he can turn into a sword resembling an IPPON Katana. It's not known if he can transform into anything else yet.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Goro]]
* TheCatalyst: Burton realizing this feline got mixed into the experimental Ninja-Gum formula was just the trigger it needed to become successful.
* TheNameless: Some of his stickers in the game's shop only refer to him as "Cat".
* SeriesMascot: Not to the extent of Gumchi but is a recurring element to the series. He also hangs out on your rooftop base along with the previously mentioned alien lifeform.

A scientist for the WNA and Berecca's late father. He was presumed dead after some unknown accident when terribly wrong, along with the rest of his team.
* HeroicSacrifice: [[spoiler:According to the anime, this was the real reason he died: he and Leonard were ambushed by Shadow Ninja and Sean was injured in the conflict. Knowing that they're no match for the Shadow Ninja, he forced Leonard out of the fight and used a bomb to blow up the Shadow Ninja at the cost of his own life]].
* PosthumousCharacter: An accident during an experiment took his life. According to the anime, [[spoiler:he actually performed a HeroicSacrifice against the Shadow Ninja to save Leonard]].

[[folder:Ezet]]
A mysterious kid who saves Burton and Berecca from a fire and later is enrolled into the WNA. He turns out to be from another planet called Meluz.
* CharacterDevelopment: When he returns to Earth in episode 88, he reveals that he told the other students that he's from space and he trusts them not to tell the world about it, in strong opposition to him being distrustful of Earthlings in his earlier appearances.
* DoesntTrustThoseGuys: He doesn't trust anyone on Earth when he first arrived, even believing that some of them may be [=N325=] [[IHaveManyNames (known on Earth as the Space Ninja)]]. However, his distrust is completely unfounded, being based on paranoia rather than a legitimate bad experience. He finally calms down in episode 73 when Burton offers to help him.
* HypnoticCreature: According to him, members of his species are capable of mind controlling other people. So far, however, it hasn't worked on humans.
* InternalReveal: Him being an extraterrestrial was revealed as early as the second episode he appears in, but the cast doesn't figure this out until episode 73.
* KryptoniteFactor: {{Downplayed}}. Despite his species presumably having ninja blood, he, and other Meluzians, are unable to use Ninja Gum, as it seems to ''intoxicate'' them instead.
* TheOnlyOneITrust: He stops being afraid of Gumchi when his device tells him that the creature isn't [=N325=].
* ReallyRoyaltyReveal: In episode 87, when explaining his reasons for being unable to sneak in a visit to Earth, he says that it would be unbecoming of a member of the royal family, something that catches Burton off guard. He's surprised when he realizes he never mentioned it.

!! Antagonists
[[folder:Allen]]
Leader of the Intelligence Division of the WNA. He has secret plans to take over the organization and form an army.
* BigBad: He's the leader of the Oniwabanshu and the main antagonist of the anime. He's also the one responsible for sending the Oniwabanshu to assassinate Burton, Berecca, Ron, and Jane.
* HeKnowsTooMuch: Sends his assassins to kill Berecca and Burton, and late Ron and Jane, for learning too much information.
* VillainRespect: He acknowledged the main crew's feats in stopping the Space Ninja and reclaiming the Oedo site. He decides to stop hunting Burton, Berecca, Ron, and Jane for this reason and even gives them a detail regarding the incident with Van's father. After his final defeat by Ron, he respects him and regrets not taking in a more compliant ninja.
* WouldHurtAChild: Shows no remorse in attempting to kill Ron or siccing his assassins to kill him, Berecca, Burton, and Jane on multiple occasions. Subverted in that they're technically all adults turned into children, but this doesn't stop him in the slightest. Fortunately, he decided to stop hunting them after they defeated the Space Ninja and reclaimed the Oedo site.

[[folder:Tsukikage]]
* AndYourLittleDogToo: During his bout with Burton and Ron, he threatens to kill Berecca and Jane in Oedo next when he's finished with them. [[BerserkButton Bad idea]].
* MasterOfDisguise: His signature ability. He can disguise himself into any form he wants, even that of a child. However, the one thing giving him away is that he can't change the shape of facial features.
* MorphicResonance: His eyes and mouth stay the same between forms.
* NotSoInvincibleAfterAll: Every time Berecca, Burton, or Ron encounter Tsukikage, they're only saved thanks to the arrival of another adult, and he still manages to escape unscathed every time. He's finally defeated by Burton and Ron in episode 24 when he's caught off guard by Burton distracting him with his gum spitting ability, followed up by Ron finishing him off with his own technique.
* WouldHurtAChild: Has no issue attacking Berecca and Burton in their child forms. The same applies to Ron and Jane as well.

[[folder:The Space Ninja]]
A race of unidentified ninja lifeforms who are heavily rumored to come from outer space.
* AliensAreBastards: They would do anything to get their hands on the Ninja Gum and the meteorites, and they only further cement themselves as this when one Chocomin tricks Burton into believing that they're a case of NotEvilJustMisunderstood in order to track down the Ninja Gum factory.
* AllThereInTheManual: Some of their names are only presented only in episode titles and in-game items. The only two that have been explicitly named so far are the basic blue one (Chocomin) and the flying orange ones (Orenji).
* ArcVillain: A certain Chocomin appears as the most prominent Space Ninja in episodes 22 and 23, being the one to feign innocence to fool the students into taking it with them so that it could locate the Ninja Gum factory and alert its location to their friends.
* DemonicPossession: They can inhabit inanimate objects to turn themselves into powerful monsters.
* IHaveManyNames: From where Ezet is from, they're called [=N325=].
* HealingFactor: Episode 82 reveals that they can quickly recover from any form of physical damage that isn't Gum Weapons. Robbit is shown to slash them open, only for the wounds to immediately close back up. Only when Van and Kappei join the battle with their Gum Weapons do the Space Ninja start going down.
* MookPromotion: A Chocomin who tricks Burton becomes a major antagonist for a few episodes.
* NotSoInvincibleAfterAll: While the Space Ninja weren't so threatening on Earth due to their weakness to Gum Weapons being shown in their debut, the Meluzians spent years believing that they had no weakness, so the revelation that Gum Weapons have the power to dissolve the Space Ninja in a single blow was a welcome surprise for them.
* PokemonSpeak: The Space Ninja seem to only speak their name or parts of it.
* PutOnABus: After failing to take over the Ninja Gum factory in episode 23, the Space Ninja which weren't wiped out went into hiding, effectively removing them from the plot for several episodes.
* SmarterThanYouLook: Initially, they appeared to be purely animalistic in behavior with the exception of the more humanoid looking leaders. However, episode 22 reveals that even a Chocomin, the most basic mook, is capable of strategizing (which the Chocomin demonstrates by fooling Burton), something which completely catches everyone off guard. Burton noted in episode 24 that they likely would've located the Ninja Gum factory whether or not they tricked Burton given how smart they are.
* TheUnreveal: For most of the series, it's never explained why the Space Ninja want the Ninja Gum or Odeo meteorite, nor their true origins. However, Ezet's arc does show that they've invaded his home planet as well. Episode 86 gives a potential answer for the latter, as on Meluz, their leader is shown to draw power from it in order to bust down a locked door.
* WeaksauceWeakness: Their main weakness is Gum Weapons, which are ironically created from the very thing they're addicted to: Ninja Gum.

[[folder:Harold Cook (SPOILERS)]]
The Komerican president who's secretly working with Allen for some purpose.
* PresidentEvil: Downplayed. He's the president of Komerica and appears to be a major antagonist working with Allen. His plan was to strengthen the Komerican military with the power of the Ninja Gum but, thanks to Burton, he finds out that Allen left some key information that ruins this. Later, he ends up getting manipulated by Master Shadow into declaring that all ninjas must be purged.
* NoPartyGiven: It's never confirmed which party Harold Cook is in, assuming they exist in Ninjala's world.
* PhenotypeStereotype: He has blond hair and blue eyes, and is the president of Ninjala's version of America.
* {{Trumplica}}: His general design seems to be...well, resembling a recent US President.
* UngratefulBastard: While being abducted by Shadow Ninjas and betrayed by his former colleague Allen does leave him pretty paranoid, he vowed to shut down the WNA despite the students associated saving his life. Genryusai manages to talk him out of it thanks to video evidence with him colluding with Allen.

[[folder:The Gumdiva (SPOILERS)]]
The leader of the [=N325=] (the Space Ninja) on Meluz. Unlike its underlings, it is more humanoid in proportions and is significantly more intelligent.
----
* AmbiguousGender: It's never referred to with gendered words, though it seems to take on a feminine appearance.
* AFatherToHisMen: Ambiguous gender example. The Space Ninja look upon the Gumdiva and do everything for it. The Gumdiva seems to care about the Space Ninja population thriving and is clearly upset when it finds out that they can be killed by Gum Weapons.
* KingMook: It resembles a Chocomin in terms of features and is the most humanoid of the Space Ninja. It possesses strength unlike its underlings, being able to drill a metal door open after absorbing the power of the meteorites.
* NighInvulnerable: Even moreso than its underlings, as it is able to regrow its appendages if they get cut off and it's the only Space Ninja that can tank multiple hits from Gum Weapons. It even manages to regenerate after its eye take a direct hit from a Rising Devil powered Burton, though it choosing to flee Meluz with the rest of the Space Ninja suggests that it has its limits.
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: Following its defeat in episode 87, it, along with the rest of the Space Ninja, flee Meluz via a UFO.
* ShapeshifterWeapon: It is capable of morphing its appendages into blades.
* YouCanTalk: Everyone expresses surprise over the Gumdiva speaking their language, as it is the first instance of a Space Ninja doing so.
