* TheAce: Absolute Squad is considered the strongest combat force of Elysion in-universe. They were top of the field solders, renowned for always finishing their missions unscathed.
* InformedAbility: Crossing over with GameplayAndStorySegregation. Absolute is said to be Elysion's strongest squad, but their performance during actual gameplay is rather poor. [[PaperTiger Eunhwa]] in particular is considered to be a LowTierLetdown by the playerbase.

----
* BigBeautifulWoman: Emma is a fairly wide woman, compared to some more petite women among the cast. She is nonetheless as much of a MsFanservice as it comes, in a similar vein to fellow big woman Anis. Emma even gives Anis fashion advice centered around their similar bodies.
* BigBreastPride: Confidently utilizes her large bosom to seduce the Commander, especially if you take the [[SexyDiscretionShot fade-to-black]] in her final bond episode to mean they got to fourth base.
* BizarreTasteInFood: Part of her [[LethalChef problem with cooking]]; her ideas of what combinations of food work together are utterly deranged. Her idea of using ketchup on a cake nearly gives Mica a heart attack.
* BoobBasedGag: Her generous chest is used as the subject of jokes quite a few times, specifically pertaining to how distracted the Commander can get by them. In one of her advise sessions, [[BigBreastPride she jests]] that the dress she ordered but didn't fit her voluminous curves simply couldn't fit Eunhwa or Vesti if you suggest she give it to them instead.
* LethalChef: Emma's idea of food is... unique, to say the least. This is simultaneously blamed on her absent-mindedness leading her to [[CordonBleughChef randomly add inappropriate ingredients on a whim]] and [[TheKlutz an inability to control her fine motor skills.]] However, it's also shown she's not necessarily bad at cooking itself if she's convinced to strictly follow a recipe, it's just that her spontaneous additions are absolutely lacking in common sense.
** An Outpost event has Counters holding a birthday party for the Commander complete with a cake, only for Neon to promptly throw the cake at the Commander after celebrating since Emma made it and there was no way in hell that it was going to be remotely edible.
** Her first Attraction episode has her make some kind of milk tea for the Commander's tiredness. The ingredients included: brown sugar, table salt, MSG, coffee-flavored Splendamin and "special materials from the surface". The result? The Commander knocked out for at least a few hours.
** During the Christmas 2022 event, Rupee, N102 and the Commander receive reports of people losing their sense of taste. They soon discover Emma handing out free cookies to the public, so they decide to set up a stall next to her to give out free chocolate and soda to counteract the numbing properties of Emma's cookies. Oddly enough, N102 actually ''likes'' her cookies, despite not being immune to their effects.
** In ''Snowfall Oasis'', one of the events has the Commander suggesting that Emma make a cake for the hot springs legend. This goes perfectly fine for a few minutes, until Emma suddenly produces a bundle of ''vegetables'' out of nowhere and nearly throws it in with the expectation that whoever the cake is for may want something healthy. The Commander fortunately catches it in time and manages to talk her out of making the veggie cake by convincing her that the legend may want just a normal cake.
* MsFanservice: While most Nikkes are this, Emma takes the cake. She is ''very'' buxom, dotes on the Commander, her bond episodes involve numerous instances of her giving the Commander a LapPillow, her giving massages with oil, and numerous instances of the Commander accidentally groping her. Then there's her [[SexySantaDress Christmas outfit]]...
* SexyDiscretionShot: After five bond episodes of teasing and close physical contact straight out of an ecchi series, Emma comes by at the end of the fifth to help the Commander [[SexualEuphemism work off his stress.]] Actually, it's implied in the fourth that [[NeedAHandOrAHandjob she may have gotten pretty frisky with him already.]]
* SexySantaDress: Her holiday attire for the Christmas 2022 event is little more than a ''very'' revealing one-piece dress that barely covers her breasts and has a very short miniskirt.
* TeamMom: The most social and caring of the lot, [[LethalChef lethal cooking]] aside. In Chapter 4, Emma is first to hug Rapi and is glad to see her happy, despite her own questions about her former teammate's resignation.
* ThanksForTheMammary: In her bond episodes, the Commander tends to [[AccidentalPervert accidentally]] get a feel of her chest whenever he wakes up. Luckily for him, Emma is nice enough to pass them off as harmless.

----
* ACupAngst: Vesti calls her flat at one point after some encouragement from Anis. While she initially seems to shrug it off, she later asks Emma if it's true, causing Emma to offer to cop a feel. Eunhwa's having none of it.
** She's also annoyed when Vesti wonders if the reason she doesn't want to go in the hot springs is due to this.
** During the 2024 April Fools event, she admits to doing exercises to try and improve her figure.
* ClingyJealousGirl: Not normally, but the attitude seems to squeak through in one of her bond lines.
--> '''Bond Level Up III''': "You'd better not try to leave me as those scumbags did. I've chosen you."
* ColdSniper: Eunhwa's attitude towards others is chilly at best and she wields a sniper rifle for her weapon.
* DrillSergeantNasty: She is often called upon to provide combat training for mass-produced Nikkes fresh off the assembly line. Despite her harsh and immensely brutal methods, squads who underwent her program were shown to enjoy (slightly) higher survival ratings.
* EtTuBrute: [[spoiler:She considered Rapi a genuine friend and comrade when she was still with Absolute and was incredibly hurt by her simply leaving the team without telling any of them why, even yelling that "Nobody treats their friends like that!" when Rapi insists that she considered the team her friends too.]]
* EveryoneHasStandards: Despite her generally harsh personality, [[spoiler:she immediately volunteers the services of Absolute in searching for Belorta during the NEVERLAND event without any convincing, and reassures Mica that they will find her no matter what]].
* ForeheadOfDoom: Her fringe covers the right side of her forehead, emphasising the left side and making it look even bigger.
* FreudianExcuse: Her DrillSergeantNasty approach to training and strict focus on discipline stems from her death as a human, being a Nikke Commander herself in life, coming from having to command a squad of poorly disciplined Nikkes who barely listened to her, resulting in a TotalPartyKill and Eunhwa's own death on a mission.
* GameplayAndStorySegregation: In-story Eunhwa's a very effective and potent Nikke, enough to be placed in charge of Team Absolute, Elysion's top squad. In gameplay? She's one of the ''worst'' SSR Nikkes you can get and agreed to be a weak unit for her rarity.
* GunNut: As expected of an elite Nikke from Absolute, Eunhwa is extremely well-versed in all forms of weaponry and has a deep appreciation of firearms, allowing her to get along with the likes of Neon and Snow White. She also manages Absolute's armory based in the Outpost.
* {{Irony}}: Crossed with GameplayAndStorySegregation. Her in-game presence has her act demeaning and, in the chapter where Counters has a joint operation with them, she states that she has nothing to gain from teaming up with weaklings. She's widely considered one of the worst SSR Nikkes one can get among players, usually placed in the bottom tier when comparing Nikkes.
* {{Jerkass}}: Eunhwa is not a people person, to put it mildly, tending towards harsh putdowns and blunt insults over constructive criticism or trying to play nice. That said...
** JerkWithAHeartOfGold: [[spoiler:She cared a lot about Rapi and considered her a friend during her Absolute days, being hurt at Rapi just leaving a letter and vanishing one day.]] She also doesn't hesitate to offer Absolute's services in finding Belorta during the ''NEVERLAND'' Event, even offering Mica some reassurance.
* {{Kuudere}}: She comes off as fiercely harsh, demeaning, and ice-cold when the team first meets her. [[spoiler:It's later revealed that she's mostly just bitter about Rapi leaving the team, as well as the circumstances of her death, and she's got plenty of NotSoStoic moments.]]
* SourOutsideSadInside: [[spoiler:Her near constant put downs and harsh {{Jerkass}} attitude towards Team Counters are revealed to be her essentially lashing out at Rapi, still hurt and upset at the fact that her ex-teammate simply resigned without word or warning one day. As well, a lot of her strictness stems from her wanting to ensure nobody else dies the same way she did, let down by an undisciplined squad of Nikkes who didn't listen to her orders as a Commander.]]
* TeethClenchedTeamwork: Eunhwa has a huge grudge with Rapi [[spoiler:due to the latter, whom Eunhwa considered her sole friend, leaving Absolute in the past without much of an explanation]], but when push comes to shove, the two cooperate, and very effectively at that.
* WeUsedToBeFriends: [[spoiler:She and Rapi used to be good friends and colleagues during their days at Absolute, but the relationship soured greatly when Rapi up and left one day without telling any of the team why, leaving Eunhwa incredibly hurt and bitter.]]

----
* BewareTheQuietOnes: Likely due to being bullied as a human, Vesti has some rather violent and dark impulses she tries to keep control of. She even says in her third Bond Episode that it took all her willpower not to kill her old bullies on the spot when she ran into them at random. She unloads her pent-up frustration on Raptures instead, and the Commander even makes sure she gets some [[LaserGuidedKarma sweet revenge]] on said bullies in the following Bond Episode.
* ClingyJealousGirl: One of her Advice chats has Vesti admit that she wants her crush all to herself. Thankfully, unlike [[AxeCrazy Isabel]], it never goes to violent levels.
--> '''Vesti''': "There's this person...and I want them all for myself."
* CuteBruiser: Vesti serves as the TokenMiniMoe of the team and has a rather timid personality, but she is by far the strongest member of Absolute, able to take on crowds of Raptures single-handedly.
* DarkAndTroubledPast: Was regularly bullied and called useless by her old classmates back when she was human, which is why she's a ShrinkingViolet in the present. Becoming a Nikke just made things ''worse'', since she now has to deal with comments about how she's JustAMachine from them.
* DeclarationOfProtection: Gives the Commander one when he affirms that he really does want to be her friend in her Bond Episodes.
--> '''Vesti''': "But I can promise you one thing."
--> '''Vesti''': "I will protect you...with all my power."
--> '''Vesti''': "If anyone or anything tries to harm you, I will destroy them."
--> '''Vesti''': "So, if you need me, just call. I'll be there."
* GrewASpine: She learns to stand up for herself against Eunhwa when the latter is in {{Jerkass}} mode with some encouragement from Counters during a joint mission together. Her Attraction Episodes have her slowly breaking out of her shell with help from the Commander, as well.
* IJustWantToHaveFriends: She's very lonely and desires to form friendships outside of her team. Her Attraction Episodes are all about the Commander trying to help her branch out and make some friends.
* LoveEpiphany: Has one in her final Attraction Episode, when realizing that she really enjoys spending time with the Commander, since he makes her happy beyond just being a friend.
* LuminescentBlush: Her cheeks tend to light up adorably when she's flustered, usually because she's being complimented and [[ShrinkingViolet doesn't know how to handle it.]]
* OneWomanArmy: Can take on whole hordes of Raptures by herself and come out just fine.
* PintSizedPowerhouse: The smallest of the Nikkes on Team Absolute and also the one packing the biggest punch.
* SelfDeprecation: Tends to talk down about herself when she's in a funk, like assuming that the Nikkes the Commander has meet her in her Bond Episodes didn't like her for being too full of herself or a "hopeless crybaby". In hindsight, it's simply another manifestation of her past bullying experiences, since her classmates always said those things to her as a human.
* ShrinkingViolet: Vesti is apologetic and has very low self-esteem thanks to being bullied in the past, both as a human and Nikke.
* SuppressedRage: It becomes apparent that Vesti's holding in a ''great'' deal of it leftover from being bullied so much in both her old life and her post-conversion existence, which she vents in combat against Raptures. Her Burst Skill depicts her losing her temper in what seems to be at least partially a school environment considering the silhouettes and camera, while one of her Advice chats has her inadvertantly revealing that she dreams about shooting up a school (though she makes it clear she's horrified by said dream).

->''"A mobile patrol squad that is responsible for keeping the peace in the Ark. Even so, the public is not aware that they are Nikkes."''

[[folder:A.C.P.U. in general]]
* HumanDisguise: Their status as Nikkes is a closely guarded secret, as it is illegal for Nikkes to join the police force.
* {{Irony}}: As noted above, Nikkes cannot legally join the police force, meaning they are police officers who are constantly breaking the law simply by being police officers.

----
* AttentionDeficitOohShiny: She tends to cause problems by getting side-tracked with a random do-gooder task she picks up for herself. In one of the Blabla ACPU group chats, it turns out she found a lost puppy and wanted to try and catch him by running after him squeaking a toy...which wound up causing a great deal of traffic build-up when she kept running across roads after the dog, getting enough complaints that an exasperated Poli is called in to sort things out, ordering Miranda to not move at all till she comes to get her.
* BumblingSidekick: To Poli, frequently causing issues that her boss has to clean up.
* TheDitz: She's not the brightest blub in the shed, tending to get lost or side-tracked because she can't remember where she was going, waking up ''incredibly'' early because she misread her clock and thought it was time for a meet-up when it wasn't and having to be outright told by Poli that ''she'' is the public disturbance Poli's been getting noise complaints about...despite running around with a squeaky toy after a stray dog for quite some time beforehand.
* MeaningfulName: Her name is a reference to the Miranda warning, also known as the Miranda rights.

----
* AffectionateGestureToTheHead: She loves headpats to the degree that she protested against receiving them in her Affection story...only to melt away when the Commander decided to pet her anyway.
* BeleagueredBoss: Is frequently called in to clean up the messes her two subordinates make, since one of them is blind and the other is TheDitz and neither of them have any sense of direction.
* HeroesLoveDogs: Poli is rather fond of dogs and even displays some dog-like behavior, such as liking headpats and sniffing out clues with her nose, calling it "detective's intuition". At one point she starts to wonder if she is a human/dog chimera created as a product of a lab experiment, and her behaviour causes the A.C.P.U. to also suspect this. This is eventually disproven as Ingrid confirms that she was a human police officer before her death, [[spoiler:but Ingrid later texts the Commander mentioning that some dog genes may have gotten mixed up in the Nikke transfer process]].
* HeroicSacrifice: [[spoiler:At the end of her Affection Story, it's revealed that Poli defended Ingrid from a bomb strapped to Poli (the dog) while she was still human, which inflicted fatal injuries and cost her her life. While Ingrid held the dying Poli, she offered to make her a Nikke, to which she accepted and allowed her to rejoin the force.]]
* HumanDisguise: She has retained her original name and job from before becoming a Nikke, despite it being illegal for Nikkes to be part of the ACPU, requiring her to keep it a secret. Her character story kicks off when her dog-like behaviour causes the higher-ups in the ACPU to suspect she may be a human-dog chimera created in a lab experiment, something that is highly illegal and would at best result in her being removed from the ACPU, requiring her to find proof she isn't one before they decide to have her undergo a DNA test (something she can't do as a Nikke, meaning the attempt would reveal her artificial nature), and make sure the proof doesn't also reveal she's a Nikke.
* LaserGuidedAmnesia: Although she retained most of her memories while she was a human, she mysteriously cannot recall how she died, only that it happened quickly. [[spoiler:Ingrid reveals that she died protecting her from a bomb.]]
* MarshmallowHell: At the end of ''One More Time'', she gets caught in a group hug with Bay and Clay while posing for a photo, being squished between their breasts to the point ''her feet don't touch the ground'' due to their height difference.
* MeaningfulName: Her name obviously comes from "police". Notably, this was also her name when she was still human.
* OneSteveLimit: Averted, as Ingrid formerly owned a dog named Poli at the same time that Poli was around. Solving the mystery behind the dog's death constitutes a major portion of Poli's Affection Story.
* TheReliableOne: Between Quiry suffering from near blindness and Miranda being an airhead at the best of times, Poli ends up being the one member of the ACPU to handle most of the heavy-lifting and is for the most part the only one amongst the trio who doesn't need The Commander's guidance to keep them in line.

\

----
* BlindMistake: Quiry's terrible vision causes her to blunder a lot. For instance, her Burst Skill animation shows her smashing an Oreo-style cookie with a chair after mistaking it for a cockroach, and she repeatedly mistakes a towel for Poli in her Affection Story. It's zigzagged by the way she ''can'' see important things (such as the Commander, suspects, and evidence) clearly, suggesting that her vision issues are partially mental in nature - Her Bond Story has her talking about having tried different eye refits with the vision issue persisting.
* BumblingSidekick: Like Miranda, she's this to Poli, most of which is to do with her blindness causing all sorts of problems. In the first episode of her Affection Story alone, the Commander has to go out and find her after she following someone she thought was Miranda.
* MeaningfulName: Her names comes from the word "Inquire", i.e to look into or to investigate something.
* ShipTease: At the end of her Affection Story, Quiry can now recognise the Counters Commander at an ''amazing'' distance, which typically only happens with sparkling things, sprinting to go greet him and even saying that he actually is as handsome as others have said he is and insisting that he "sparkles" now.
[[/folder]]

!! Academia

->''"A Nikke squad specially manufactured by Elysion for educational purposes after the company noticed the potential of the M.M.R. Vocational School. They are responsible for taking Nikkes that show promise and honing their skills so that they can reclaim the surface one day."''

[[folder:Marciana]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/marciana_nikke.png]]

\
One of the teachers at M.M.R. Vocational School, an academy for Nikkes training to improve their effectiveness as a field operative. She is often straight-laced and desires only the best for her students, but there are times when she's NotSoAboveItAll.
----
* AnimalMotifs: A theme of foxes is often brought up in her advise episodes. In one, Commander compares the image of a fox hugging a penguin on a cake to Marciana hugging [[TokenMiniMoe Rei]] after calling it cute, in another, he compliments her with a direct comparison:
--> '''Marciana''': I don't look like a fox, do I? \
'''Commander''': ''[one of the response variants]'' Sure you do. Foxes are intelligent as well as easy on the eyes.
* BareMidriffsAreFeminine: Her belly exposing outfit accentuates her stunning and attractive figure.
* {{Dominatrix}}: Has some shades of this with her Burst animation showing her with a riding crop and looking downwards with a disgusted/stern look. Her personality is nothing like this however.
* HotTeacher: She's a teacher at M.M.R. Vocational School and like all Nikkes, is stunning to look at.
* MeaningfulName: Fittingly for someone dedicated to knowledge and learning, the [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biblioteca_Marciana Biblioteca Marciana]] in Venice is one of the oldest surviving public libraries in the world.
* MsFanservice: A sexy young woman who wears no bra and is always seen with her belly exposed. Complete with a navel piercing - though, her belly ring is a special device which helps make informed decisions in an emergency.
* NiceGirl: Despite her somewhat intimidating looks she is a very kind and well-meaning teacher.
* NotSoAboveItAll: A quirk she hides from her students is her [[CutenessProximity tendency to break down within the presence of anything cute]].
** Her second chat log is about her wanting to eat desserts popular amongst her students, but denying that she really wants to. It takes the Commander inviting her that she accepts in the guise of "research" for her students' sake.
** Rei is a puppy-eyed, kid-sized ball of adorableness that her classmates would all agree is cute. In her Affection Episodes, it's revealed Marciana would have agreed were it not for her wanting to maintain an image, but this causes her to act stiffly towards Rei, which then leads to Rei feeling hurt by the perceived cold shoulder.
* PaintedOnClothes: Her skintight pants do nothing to hide the curves of her legs.
* PragmaticHero: [[spoiler: She would love to be able to openly fight back against the experiments being done on Nikkes in the school she works at but knows that if she does, she will likely be killed without having accomplished anything. Thus, she keeps her fight quiet, roping the Commander in so that in the event that she does indeed "disappear", someone will remember what is going on in the school and continue her fight.]]
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: Marciana takes her position as a teacher very seriously and aims to keep her students on the straight and narrow. However, she also believes that as a teacher she is required to ensure the wellbeing and safety of her students and will do everything in her power to protect them from themselves and outside forces, [[spoiler:especially since she is one of the few people aware of the school's true nature]].
* TotallyRadical: The third chat log starts with Marciana greeting using slang words like "Heya" and "Yeppers", catching the Commander off-guard that he wondered who's typing at first. The teacher says she asked Zwei about slang and tried them experimentally, though she decides to cut back on it after a moment of self-consciousness.
* {{Underboobs}}: Her Burst animation, which has her palming her riding crop, has her at enough of a low-angle shot to show a peek that confirms that no, she's not wearing a bra.
[[/folder]]

!! Aegis

->''"A squad built for naval combat, whose members are capable swimmers. They own a warship named the "Admire", which was captured from the Raptures. The lack of open water in the subterrarean Ark forces Aegis to conduct training exercises in the local swimming pool, making them somewhat of a laughingstock."''

[[folder:Aegis in General]]
* AwesomeButImpractical: The Admire is this in-universe. While it is ''extremely'' powerful, there isn't much use for a warship ''underground'', requiring a special tank just to store the thing. There are rarely any missions to the surface that require traversing water, and even when there is, the sheer cost and logistical nightmare of moving the Admire to the surface, alongside the fear of losing such an expensive warship, mean it is never deployed. Additionally, it costs ''a lot'' to keep it and its water tank functioning, and since Elysion only made it to show off, and the government only took it because they couldn't let a company keep such a powerful weapon, they can't get funding from Elysion and receive barely any funding from the government.
* BigDamnHeroes: [[spoiler:Mast and Anchor come to the Commander and co.'s rescue when they are trapped on the island during ''Sea, You, Again'' on the Admire.]]
* CoolShip: They act as the crew for the Admire, a battleship made by Elysion to show off how good their weapons tech was and the Ark's only warship. The girls are fond enough of the Admire that they always insist that the ship is the fourth member of their squad.
* {{Expy}}:
** Though lacking rigging, the whole squad wouldn't look out of place in ''VideoGame/AzurLane'' and ''VideoGame/KanColle''. Anchor has hints of Shimakaze in her design, Mast has little hints of Bremington, and Helm has the seriousness of Enteprise down pat.
** As a busty red-headed girl playing at being a pirate, Mast is also very much this to ''WebAnimation/{{Hololive}}'' vtuber Hoshou Marine.
* LivingShip: [[spoiler:''Sea, You, Again'' indicates that the Admire has its own consciousness - some narration segments are from its perspective, and it [[HeroicWillpower somehow]] manages to fire a second, overcharged shot from its WaveMotionGun despite the weapon only being rated for one shot.]]
* PerpetualPoverty: Due to receiving barely any support from the Central Government, they spend most of their time holding fundraising events to raise the funds needed to keep the Admire functioning.
* SuperDrowningSkills: Uniquely averted. While most Nikkes will immediately sink to the bottom if they try to swim due to their weight, the members of Aegis have special modifications that allow them to float and swim, which is useful since they work on a ship.
* ThemeNaming: All members of Aegis are named after the parts of a ship.
* ThrowTheDogABone: After spending so long in PerpetualPoverty with no opportunities to get out onto the sea, the ''Sea, You, Again'' event finally gives Aegis a chance to show their mettle by pitting them and the Admire against a ''Kraken'' Rapture menacing the seas.
* TrueCompanions: While Helm may be a little too strict, [[spoiler:''Sea, You, Again'' shows that they are ultimately this. Mast and Anchor are happy to see her again and willingly rely on her command into battle.]]

* BluntNo: Gives a few of these to Mast when they were alone without Helm.
* BrutalHonesty: For someone who appears diminutive and softspoken, some of the things that comes out of her mouth can be pretty blunt. One Advise session has her say, "Marine life have faces only a mother could love".
* EnergeticAndSoftSpokenDuo: Forms this with Mast in the ''Golden Ship'' event. While Mast is far more out-spoken, Anchor tends to follow her lead and comment on her actions. Her mode of speaking is also noticeably softer than her.
* InnocentlyInsensitive: Whether you want to take it as a compliment or a StealthInsult given her love of marine life, one line has her say:
--> "You're so cool, Captain. You're as cool as like... a hundred sea cucumbers!"

----
* CantHoldHisLiquor: In an event during the ''Sea, You, Again'' event, the Commander unknowingly gives her a drink that's implied to be alcoholic in order to lift her spirits. She gets inebriated in seconds and amusingly states that the Commander must be trying to woo her if he was giving her such a drink.
* TheChainsOfCommanding: The responsibility of being in charge of the Ark's only warship has taken a toll on Helm since if she and her squad screw up in any way, the damages will likely be incredibly expensive. [[spoiler: Her Aquamarine Attraction story focuses on relieving her of some of these burdens and relying more on her subordinates.]]
* ConsummateProfessional: To the point where it's almost a [[FatalFlaw flaw of hers.]] Helm is nothing else if not dedicated to have Aegis be a professional squad and to that end, she holds herself and her squad mates to rather high standards. This causes no small amount of friction between them as Mast and Anchor feels as though they are being worked too harshly given that they have never been able to take the Admire out once.
* CrushBlush: In her Attraction story for Aquamarine, [[spoiler: she gets this once she falls in love with the Commander and interacts with them.]]
* ADayInTheLimelight:
** She's part of the trio (the other two being Sugar and Julia) of Nikkes central to the event ''Brand New Year''.
** Alongside Aegis Squad, she has greater focus as TheLeader in ''Sea, You, Again''.
* DidTheyOrDidntThey: [[spoiler: The Commander kisses her in her final Attraction episode and afterwards, while nothing explicit is stated, the narration implies they went further than that if the amount of time they took is any indication.]]
* DoesNotLikeSpam: Ironically for a navy captain, one of her Advice chats has her reveal that she cannot stand seafood and is appalled at the notion that anyone would enjoy it. [[GameplayAndStoryIntegration This becomes relevant information in the "BBQ Master" minigame]], where Helm will never ask for shrimp or octopus on her skewers.
* GameplayAndStoryIntegration: During the BBQ minigame for ''Sea, You, Again'', she [[DoesNotLikeSpam never requests seafood]] as part of her skewer.
* GirlinessUpgrade: Her change out of her default military outfit into either her ''Chandelier'' or ''Aquamarine'' outfits do this in separate ways. ''Chandelier'', being a dress, makes her seems more traditionally feminine, while ''Aquamarine'' has her in a ponytail and without much of her regalia, making her seem younger and less reserved.
* HatesBeingAlone: Helm treasures her squadmates as her dearest friends to the point that in ''Sea, You, Again'', she can't bring herself to enjoy herself when they aren't with her on the beach in a misguided sense of guilt. [[spoiler:When they come to her rescue at the event's climax, she is left with [[TearsOfJoy tears of joy.]]]]
* HiddenDepths: She's often the TheStoic and is at times too stern towards her friends and squadmates but, like them, she has a strong desire to see and sail the ocean on the Admire. She's ecstatic then initially when the Commander seems to provide her and her squad the opportunity to do so during ''Sea, You, Again''. For a cute side to her, she also gets surprisingly jumpy at the thought of marine life touching her.
* HonorBeforeReason: Helm strongly believes in honor and expects as much from her allies; even her own rifle is named "Honorable". In her Attraction Story, [[spoiler:she watches the Commander's impressively edited advertisement for the Admire and immediately decides not to accept donations from the partygoers, clearly unwilling to take money from those who have been shown a fabricated mock-up despite the fact that the Admire is in desperate need for money. One terrorist attack later eventually does keep the money flowing for a good long while, however]].
* TheLeader: Of the levelheaded variety, not to mention literally TheCaptain and shows time and time again to be the most mature and responsible of Aegis. [[spoiler:Come ''Sea, You, Again'', she shows off that she definitely deserves her position, leading Aegis on the Admire to defeat the Kraken Rapture.]]
* LifeDrain: Her Burst Skill grants all allies the ability to heal back a portion of the damage they inflict to enemies.
* MeaningfulName: Fittingly for the commander of a ship and leader of a squad, the helm is the part of a ship that steers it, and to helm something means to direct or lead it.
* AMotherToHerMen: To her ''women'', but still. While she may be at times a little strict with them, Helm cares for her squadmates in Aegis dearly. During ''Sea, You, Again'', when she can't go with her squad to the sea she becomes noticeably dejected as she believes her happiness would be wrong if they weren't here with her. [[spoiler: The climax of ''Sea, You, Again'' shows her stepping up to take command of her squad on the Admire in order to fight the Kraken.]]
* OnlySaneMan: Her two squadmates are rather quirky and tend to be flippant about their duties. As such, she often has to bring them back in line. At times, she also borders on being a little too serious as shown during ''Sea, You, Again'' [[spoiler:wherein after initially finding nothing, she wants to go back immediately and report this to the Ark instead of just taking the chance to relax on a beach, something many in the Ark would never get the chance to even see in their life.]]
* PovertyForComedy: While the entire Aegis squad are trapped in PerpetualPoverty thanks to how expensive maintaining the Admire is, Helm's issues are especially pronounced as the leader and fundraiser organizer. There are many humorous instances of her indirectly requesting the Commander's (normally financial) aid as a result.
* RoyalsWhoActuallyDoSomething: One of her advise conversations has her mention that she is descended from royalty, like Ludmilla (who is the focus of the conversation).
* SexySoakedShirt: The basis for Helm's outfit for ''Aquamarine''. She's embarrassed by the incredibly revealing bikini that she's wearing so she puts her shirt over it. Naturally, it gets wet and shows off just how gorgeous she looks. Her voice line even complains about her getting wet.
* ShipTease: Has some moments with the Commander especially with her ''Aquamarine'' Attraction Story.
* SugarAndIcePersonality: For the most part, Helm is a serious and reserved individual that runs a tight ship, [[{{Pun}} pun intended]]. She does however show a different side to her squad mates and her friends at times, a side that is extremely passionate about the ocean and cares for her friends deeply. Her ''Aquamarine'' version is more sugar than ice.
* SwordPlant: Helm carries around a prop rapier with which she uses to strike this pose whenever she wants to draw attention.
* TearsOfJoy: Starts crying after [[spoiler:the Admire's crew successfully vanquishes Kraken at the climax of ''Sea, You, Again''.]]
* TooDesperateToBePicky: She resents having to stand up in front of the Ark's wealthy and elite and essentially beg for handouts, but given the Admire has no other source of income she continues to do so to keep her crew afloat. However, she still has some standards, such as [[spoiler:refusing to use the Commander's edited advertisement due to it being a fabricated mockup]], and refuses the donation of an extremely rare and valuable firearm.
* WhatIsThisThingYouCallLove: Her ''Aquamarine'' Attraction Story has her go through this [[spoiler:once she falls for the Commander in the final Bond Episode, constantly fleeing from him while wondering why she [[CrushBlush blushes]] and her heart starts racing whenever she sees him.]]
* WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes: On top of disliking seafood, she gets jumpy at the thought of touching anything living in the sea. In one [=BlaBla=] text, Anchor lost her starfish, noting she last saw it in Helm's office. Cue Helm panicking as it touches her foot, begging the rest of the Aegis Squad and the Commander to hurry and take it away. Unfortunately, both Mast and the Commander are busy, and Anchor needs at least 15 minutes to get to her office, meaning she's left to her own devices, standing on her chair to avoid any contact with it.

* MundaneUtility: In ''LION HEART'', Guillotine winds up using her ability to pacify the animals in the animal shelter after a crowd of protesters parading outside agitates them.

** [[spoiler:Guillotine does her usual chuuni spiel when the duo shows up to save the Commander during Chapter 23, but when Jackal gets the jump on the duo and knocks out Maiden with a single kick, Guillotine drops the act completely and turns deadly serious, [[CurbStompBattle forgoing combat in favor of knocking down Jackal and using her special ability to KO her]].]]
* RedEyesTakeWarning: [[spoiler:Guillotine's special ability is to manipulate the energy of other Nikkes, which manifests as a glowing red eye hidden under her eyepatch. 337* SpannerInTheWorks: The Hard Mode ending of ''LION HEART'' reveals that Guillotine's presence in the animal shelter turned out to be extremely fortuitous, as [[spoiler:an AnimalWrongsGroup was attempting to raid the shelter to release the animals while Happy Zoo was away, but by getting Guillotine to take care of the animals she also wound up fending off the group.]]

* CompellingVoice: Maiden uses a special code --dubbed "Kotodama"-- in her voice to hypnotize her targets, thus allowing her to immobilize and subdue them. Inversely, Maiden can also utilize Kotodama to strengthen her allies and improve their combat effectiveness.
* TheEeyore: Maiden is incredibly cynical and dour, often loudly complaining about Ingrid or the thanklessness of her job of eliminating malfunctioning Nikkes.
* GamerChick: She starts playing "Final Quest" with the Commander in her third Bond episode. Over the next couple months, she becomes utterly addicted to the game.
* IJustWantToHaveFriends: Maiden's bond stories are largely about her desire to have friends and feel like she belongs.
** ''D.ARK HERO'' reveals she managed to befriend fellow [[GamerChick gamer girls]] Exia, Elegg and Trony. This, however, leads to some conflict when [[spoiler:Extrinsic is later tasked to capture Elegg and Trony on suspicions of planning a terrorist attack on the Ark.]]
* IWasNeverHere: In her first Bond episode, she threatens to kill the Commander for witnessing her killing a malfunctioning Nikke until she scans his ID, realizing who he is.
* LogicalWeakness: Since her "Kotodama" powers are voice-based, they are ineffective against someone who can't ''hear'' her. In Chapter 23, [[spoiler: Exotic takes advantage of this by having Jackal disable her hearing sensors, expecting Extrinsic to eventually find their hideout to save the Commander. Unable to hear Maiden, Jackal knocks her out, letting Crow and Viper escape.]]
* MeaningfulName: Maiden is named after the Iron Maiden, an 18th century torture device with inner walls lined with spikes, an image evoked by the lower half of her trenchcoat.
* ThePigpen: During her time living with the Commander, she leaves such a mess at her gaming station that even Anis and Neon, slobs in their own right, are offended.
* PowerLimiter: Her mask, which is meant to restrain the power of Kotodama. This is taken further in that Maiden requires the explicit vocal approval of Ingrid to remove her mask, even if to perform simple tasks such as eating or drinking.
* StalkerWithACrush: Becomes this to the Commander in her first and second Bond episodes, where after becoming smitten with him she starts sending him anonymous texts that make it clear she's watching him both discreetly enough that he can't tell where she is, and close enough that she can point out a typo in the paperwork he was doing.
* TheThingThatWouldNotLeave: Ultimately becomes this in her Bond stories where after the Commander introduces her to Final Quest she just begins living in his room playing the game for weeks to the point where she believes they're basically a married couple because of it.

* RailEnthusiast: In addition to working on the Ark Express, it is heavily implied that she's a fan of trains in general, with a mission from someone named "Traingo" asking the Commander for pictures of railroads on the surface, and expressing a desire to one day be able to drive trains on the surface. Traingo is all but stated to be her, with them accidentally saying they work for Infinity Rail (the name of the Nikke Squad) before correcting themself and saying they work for the Ark Express (the actual train company), the Commander cheekily asking if he'll be rewarded with some [[TrademarkFavouriteFood strawberry candy]], and Traingo doing a very poor job at acting like they have no idea what strawberry candy even is.

This is Privaty working temporarily as a maid to repay the Maid For You squad for damages she caused to their maid cafe.

----
* {{Catgirl}}: She sports a set of cat ears and a cat tail in addition to her maid outfit.
* FanservicePack: Her breasts get an increase in size from her "Banquet Princess" skin, putting them almost on the same cup level as Emma or Noir.
* HeartOfHappiness: She makes the hand heart gesture while still having the typical tsundere "It's not like I like you or anything" face.
* LoveMakesYouDumb: The central conflict of her Bond Episodes. She's assigned to serve as the Counters Commander's personal maid as a sort of 'final exam' before she graduates, but she keeps on screwing up the tasks she's assigned because she's too busy obsessing over being in the Commander's quarters or handling his clothes to focus on them properly.
* {{Meido}}: Since she's temporarily working for the Maid For You squad, she also has to look the part.
* MsFanservice: As a catgirl maid with a low-cut neckline, high-cut skirt, and twintails, she certainly looks a lot more eye-catching than in her normal work clothes.
* RelationshipUpgrade: [[spoiler:How her Bond Story ends, with the Commander returning her LoveConfession and asking her out on a date.]]
* ReluctantFanserviceGirl: Her strained expression and defensive posture indicates she's not too pleased about wearing the maid uniform.
* ZettaiRyouiki: Her maid outfit shows off a grade-A variant of this, complete with garters.

!! Perilous Siege

->''"A clandestine squad of assassins who take out targets deemed a threat to the Ark and mankind. After an organization known as The Judges designates a target, the assigned Nikke first gathers intel on the target, then determines whether they are deserving of their punishment. Any error in judgment comes at the cost of that Nikke's life."''

[[folder:Perilous Siege in General]]
* CovertGroupWithMundaneFront: Played With. They are a black-ops unit that takes out criminals that for whatever reason can't be handled through normal means. They also run the Outpost's hotel, but they do so secretly, to the point that not only does nobody outside of the Commander know who actually runs the place, most of the Outpost thinks it may be run by ghosts, as the rooms are cleaned and room service arrives without anyone seeing an employee (though some Brief Encounters imply it really is haunted, but the ghosts aren't running the place). So they are a covert group with a covert mundane front.
* TheDreaded: Criminals in the underground world who know them and rightfully fear incurring their wrath.
* EarlyBirdCameo: They initially debuted in the Main Story in Chapter 13, where they briefly appeared as minor antagonists hired to take out Counters in order to [[spoiler:capture Marian]].
* OneLetterName: Both members have names consisting of only one letter.
* PayEvilUntoEvil: Their M.O is to assassinate or otherwise covertly deal with people who have committed crimes against the Ark's government.
* StealthExpert: As noted above, they are so stealthy that people think the Hotel's room service is provided by ghosts, with the Commander only knowing the truth because D told him.

The leader of Perilous Siege, Elysion's Black Ops unit.
----
* BagOfKidnapping: D is always seen shouldering a large person-sized bag which wriggles from time to time. The Commander can ask about it in one of her Advise sessions, to which D will provide a non-answer. Although an official yonkoma comically claims that there are actually ''cats'' inside.
** A sub-quest in Chapter 17 reveals that it's actually [[spoiler:Raptilion]], who's wanted by the Ark's government for [[spoiler:communicating with Raptures]]. Not for long, however, as this person's crime ends up [[spoiler:paying off for him when Raptures help free him from the Perilous Siege despite knowing that he's human.]]
* BarcodeTattoo: The casual attire of her ''Killer Wife'' version reveals she has one on her left breast. [[DevelopersForesight If you do scan the barcode by cropping it with a photo editor and fixing the resolution]], it reveals a link. Clicking the link reveals… [[spoiler: a JustForFun/{{Rickroll}}.]]
* BecomingTheMask: It's unsubtly implied that she actually enjoys acting like newlyweds with the Commander in her ''Killer Wife'' version's Bond Episodes, as she doesn't refute the Commander's belief that she wasn't just acting while they were together and admits that she enjoyed their week of practice. [[spoiler:There's also the fact she suddenly appears in the Commander's room in her wife persona despite previously deciding there was no need for more practice, with the Commander playing along with her act as the screen cuts to black.]]
* BlackAndWhiteMorality: Seems to follow this disturbingly closely. She doesn't flinch at having to commit some murders for the sake of eradicating evil and when questioned by the Commander, she espouses that she believes that her bloody work will one day tip the cosmic scale of good and evil to the side of good permanently. [[spoiler:It is for this reason that she votes to kill their target at the end of ''License to Kill'' event.]]
* ButterflyOfDeathAndRebirth: Has a tattoo of this on her left arm visible in ''Killer Wife''; she elaborates on it in a possible Advise session.
* ConsummateProfessional: She takes no pleasure or dissatisfaction from her work and never lets her emotions get in the way.
* ContinuityCavalcade: Her first Bond Chapter has her bring up charges against the Commander based on the various Bond stories he's had with other Nikkes, like associating with Viper or allowing Vesti's bullies to hurt him to let her get revenge on them.
* DidTheyOrDidntThey: [[spoiler: In her ''Killer Wife'' version's final Bond Episode, she'll suddenly appear in the Commander's room behaving like his wife again, even though she'd previously decided they no longer needed to keep practicing their husband-and-wife act. The Commander opts to play along due to her using their signal to start acting, and after D asks him to "come and say hello to [his] wife," the screen cuts to black and the Episode ends.]]
* EmotionlessGirl: She's rather taciturn even with the Commander.
* FlowersOfRomance: Recieves a bouquet of violets from the Commander in her ''Killer Wife'' version's final Bond Episode, who'd pieced together that violets are her favorite flower based on the violet perfume she uses as a signal to start pretending to be a married couple.
* {{Foreshadowing}}: In one of D's Advise scenes (the regular version), she arrives late and pretends to be Daisy, '''Commander's''' counselor. Commander has a choice to retort in kind by "firing" her for being late, to which D commends his improvisation ability and mentions that it could be useful for future missions, then Commander proceeds to practice acting with her. Later, D: Killer Wife, would be released, whose event involves her and Commander acting as a married couple.
* FormFittingWardrobe: Her ''Killer Wife'' version's minidress clings very tightly to her surprisingly attractive figure, showing off her [[HiddenBuxom large breasts]] and [[HartmanHips wide hips]].
* HiddenBuxom: Similar to fellow Elysion Nikkes Delta and Privaty, D's combat gear hides her impressive chest, as shown in her ''Killer Wife'' version.
* IdiosyncraticEpisodeNaming: Each of her Event names have the word "Kill" in the title.
* KindheartedCatLover: She has a fondness for cats that helps to soften her hard-edged assassin nature.
* MasterActor: Her job requires her to investigate targets from time to time, often by infiltrating their organization. To help with this, she's an extremely skilled actress, able to switch between her normal personality and a cheerful newlywed bride at the drop of a hat. Her ''Killer Wife'' version plays this up even further due to being on a mission to pose as a married couple with the Commander, with her tap and Burst animations showing her go from a cheery smile to a menacing DeathGlare.
* MenacingStroll: Her Burst animation has her make one as she walks up to her target slowly before planting her hatchet into them.
* SickeninglySweethearts: Her married couple act with the Commander when they go undercover together involve this, constantly professing how madly in love they are and always referring to him as "Honey." Even the Commander is miffed at how committed she is to the role, pointing out some rather embarrassing documented aspects of her wife persona (like being extremely submissive to him or that her favorite flowers are the ones he buys her) which even she gets flustered talking about.
* SituationalSword: D has some useful tools in her kit against Iron element bosses, like stun immunity, strong-element damage, and self-healing, as well as an initial Burst gauge boost, extended Burst time, and part damage that she shares with her allies, but her effectiveness plummets against anything else due to losing her strong-element and part damage, making her very niche and not generally useful. [[DownplayedTrope Downplayed]] with her ''Killer Wife'' version, which specializes in buffing Pierce damage but still has more general-purpose buffs like reducing Burst cooldowns and boosting the damage a target takes.
* ShoutOut: Her ''Killer Wife'' version has some visual similarities to [[Characters/SpyXFamilyYorForger Yor Forger]], with black hair, a bundled hairstyle with locks down the front, red eyes, and a sweater, and is similarly pretending to be a married couple with the Commander like Yor is with Loid.
* SupportPartyMember: D's ''Killer Wife'' version is primarily oriented around buffing allies who deal Pierce damage. She increases the Pierce damage of allies on Full Burst, buffs Burst cooldowns and Attack damage, and debuffs a specific target with her Burst to take more damage depending on whether its core or body are being targeted (and allies with Pierce can hit both at the same time).
* ThemedAliases: Whenever she needs an alias, it'll invariably start with D, like Diana.
* UndercoverAsLovers: She typically pretend to be the Commander's wife whenever she takes him on an undercover op.
* UnflinchingWalk: Does one in her Burst animation.
* ViolentlyProtectiveGirlfriend: Her ''Killer Wife'' version's newlyweds act with the Commander involves her doing this, threatening other Nikkes with her hatchet, getting snippy with Rosanna's flirting towards the Commander, and making it clear she won't be happy if she thinks the Commander is being unfaithful.
* YourHeartsDesire: In ''Kill the Lord'', [[spoiler:after she snaps the Commander out of a drug-induced hallucination, she accidentally inhales the drug herself and imagines a world where she is unshackled of the responsibility of passing judgment on others]].

->''"A surface reconnaissance squad who always remains at the forefront on assignments. Communication, reconnaissance, and remaining alert are their fortes."''

[[folder:The Scouts in General]]
* MsFanservice: In a game full of them, The Scouts are a notable aversion. Their members dress very conservatively and like soldiers ready for battle.
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: Delta is a consummate professional soldier who dresses in fairly practical combat gear and has few interests outside of her work and training; Signal is timid, wears what appears to be a mix between a school uniform and combat gear, and is fond of soap operas.

The leader of The Scouts. Her professionalism as a soldier is reflected in the tactical competency of her squad.
----
* HiddenBuxom: The ''NEVERLAND'' event offers a rare opportunity of seeing Delta without her army gear, showing she is quite well-endowed underneath her combat vest.
* NoSocialSkills: She tends to be at a loss in any situation that doesn't relate to her work, with her Attraction Episodes focusing on the Commander trying to help her deal with this so she can infiltrate a terrorist group, [[spoiler:the one responsible for her becoming a Nikke]]. [[spoiler:Her idea of flirting is offering the Commander ramen, based on a scene from one of Signal's soap-opera's where a female soldier invited a male soldier to have ramen, unaware that the subtext was that she was actually inviting him in to have sex]].
* NotSoAboveItAll: During April Fools 2024, she gives as good as she gets when the Commander tries to prank her.
* RobotBuddy: Befitting her role as a reconnaissance soldier, she has an unnamed dog-like robotic companion that assists her in her work.
* TattooAsCharacterType: She's a tough, no-nonsense scout with a large tattoo on her shoulder.
* TheWorkaholic: She's a soldier to her core, and if she isn't on duty, she's probably training.

----
* ACupAngst: Her ribbing of Noir during an Outpost event over the size of her chest comes across as thinly veiled jealousy as she watches her struggle to exercise due to her "zeppelins" keep getting in the way. Unusually for the trope, [[HiddenBuxom Privaty is no slouch in the chest department either]] making this a case of HypocriticalHumor.
* ButtMonkey: She recieves very little respect, with her "rival" Rapi viewing her as an annoyance and effortlessly outperforming her, the Counters in general treating her with disdain, and both of her teammates having little patience for her.
* FanservicePack: Her ''Banquet Princess'' skin notably increases her relatively modest bust size significantly along with her thighs.
* HairTriggerTemper: Privaty puts the "tsun" in "tsundere" and won't hesitate to go off if she feels that she's being teased or outwitted. Her inability to use her words to navigate social situations makes it very easy for Rapi to beat her in PassiveAggressiveKombat.
* HiddenBuxom: While not flat, her default skin's bust size pales in comparison to fellow Elysion Nikkes like Maiden and Helm. Her ''Banquet Princess'' outfit, however, shows that she's been hiding an impressive bust comparable to those two.
* HumanDisguise: Her status as a Nikke is a closely guarded secret, as Nikke aren't allowed to join the regular military. This causes her stress, as she hears her human squadmates talk about their distrust of Nikkes, and has a better understanding of the more subtle ways humans view Nikkes negatively (i.e. viewing their skills and talents as something that comes naturally with being a Nikke rather than the result of hardwork and dedication). Her bond story focuses on how this causes her to feel isolated amongst her fellow soldiers, which in turn causes her to find any excuse to spend time at the Outpost, as she actually feels accepted for who she truly is there.
* JustFollowingOrders: She is the one the Central Government sends over to arrest the Commander and his accomplices whenever he generates too much attention, and she will do her job up until the order is rescinded.
* LoopholeAbuse: She enjoys hanging out at the Outpost and her frequent trips have raised conflict of interest concerns from the Central Government. She solves this by getting officially appointed to be the Commander's personal fitness trainer.
* MoneyDumb: She's prone to fiscal irresponsibility, easily getting suckered into blowing her money on things she shouldn't.
* SituationalSword: Privaty's LD Assault Skill lets her deal a massive single-target attack to an enemy if she empties her magazine while her target is inflicted with Stun. Her Burst Skill inflicts Stun for 3 seconds and her EX Magazine Skill also halves the magazine size of all allies to combo with her skill.
* {{Tsundere}}: Essentially the textbook tsun. Luckily, the Commander knows exactly what buttons to push to string her along.
* TrademarkFavoriteFood: Privaty develops an immediate addiction to Café Sweety's Sugar Coffee, to the point where she starts rerouting Central Government supplies to the Outpost (under the pretense of giving them needed supplies) just to have an excuse to be there and get coffee.
* UnknownRival: Privaty views herself as Rapi's self-proclaimed rival and does everything she can to try and one-up her, despite the fact that by her own admission, the score between her and Rapi is 0-27. Rapi, on the other hand, doesn't care nearly as much but is always more than willing to give Privaty the run-around to quell the latter's ego. In Chapter 9, when confronting Counters, she tries to take advantage of Rapi's [[spoiler:fake]] amnesia by saying the score is 21-0 in her favor.
* WhatTheHellHero: [[spoiler:Anis and Rapi call her a government lapdog for attempted execution of a fellow Nikke and seizure of Marian despite how obviously wrong it is. Privaty is unable to deny their claims and simply devolves into a sputtering mess.]]
