Also known as Di Gi Charat. The titular protagonist, princess of planet Di Gi Charat and an aspiring idol. However, she is less than princess-like. She can shoot EyeBeams, and she will use them any time, on ''any'' being who annoys her. She has a VerbalTic and ends everything she says with "-nyo".
----
* AdaptationalJerkass: Due to Usada being much kinder in ''Nyo!'' compared to the original series, Dejiko's frequent jerkassery towards her here is much less warranted.
* AdaptationalJobChange:
** In ''Nyo!'', she works at a toy store instead of at Gamers.
** ''Winter Garden'' has Dejiko work at a maid CosplayCafe.
* AdaptationalNiceGirl:
** ''Panyo Panyo'' features one of the nicest portrayals of Dejiko. She is incredibly kind and selfless, and her mission in the series is to make others happy. However, she still does have a temper and regularly throws hissy fits.
** ''Winter Garden'' sees a Dejiko who, in addition to being generous, also lacks her trademark temper.
* AdaptationalPersonalityChange: ''Winter Garden'' sees Dejiko change into a kind girl who is rather soft-spoken and shy.
* AlienPrincess: Dejiko is the princess of the eponymous planet, Di Gi Charat, with cat ears, eye beams, and who came to Earth to be an idol singer.
* BitchInSheepsClothing: Despite being a tiny, adorable CatGirl, she has a massive temper and will blast anyone who angers her with her eye lasers.
* BuyOrGetLost: Dejiko hates customers who do not buy anything, often blasting them with her EyeBeam.
* CassandraTruth: Dejiko can never convince the bathhouse owner she is from space and is an alien princess.
* CatGirl: Her ears and tail are white.
* CatsAreLazy: Dejiko is a catlike alien and can be quite the LazyBum.
* CatsAreMean: Dejiko is very rude and is quick to violence.
* CharacterCheck: While Dejiko is definitely much nicer in ''Panyo Panyo'' than how she was in the original series, we still see the occasional moment where she acts like her usual aggressive self. In Episode 17, after Gema cracks a joke at her expense, she gets visibly annoyed and shoots him out of a cannon in retaliation. A brief joke is also made about this change in characterization when Dejiko is battling against an impostor and begins to insult her, the fake says that the real Dejiko would never insult someone.
* CurtainsMatchTheWindow: Green hair and green eyes. Her brief redesign in 2008 averted this by giving her red eyes while still keeping the green hair.
* EnfantTerrible: According to Gema, Dejiko has been destroying things with her eye beam since she was a baby.
* EvenBadMenLoveTheirMamas: Despite how selfish and rude she can be, Dejiko genuinely loves both of her parents and has a very close relationship with them.
* EyeBeams: This is the basic attack of Dejiko that she uses in frustration with others.
* FleetingPassionateHobbies: Dejiko gets into and drops multiple hobbies over the course of ''Panyo Panyo''. Puchiko {{lampshade|Hanging}}s this in Episode 29.
-->'''Puchiko:''' ''[after Dejiko asks to be taught how to be a bodyguard]'' It's ok, she does this from time to time.
* ForgetfulJones: Dejiko forgets twice that her ship only had enough fuel to get to earth with no way of returning home to Planet Di Gi Charat.
* FutureLoser: Downplayed. While Dejiko is not doing awful, ''Winter Garden'' makes it clear that her days of being in the spotlight are long behind her.
* GreenAndMean: Dejiko has green hair and tends to be massive {{Jerkass}}.
* HairTriggerTemper: She is quick to anger, and often reacts violently.
* IdiotHair: She has a rather large ahoge.
* IdolSinger: After coming to Earth, Dejiko declares she will become the best idol.
* ItsAllAboutMe: Dejiko is very self-centered and will often only help someone out if it benefits her.
* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Violent and petty as she can be, there's a good heart deep down in her.
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: Dejiko suffers a major bout of guilt after giving Usada an exploding cake and thinking that she might have died. She is moved to TearsOfJoy when Usada is revealed to be alive and well.
* PinkMeansFeminine: Dejiko ditches her regular blue dress for a pink one in ''Panyo Panyo'', where she is much kinder compared to her original incarnation.
* PrincessProtagonist: She's the titular protagonist and an AlienPrincess.
* PromotedToParent: Dejiko acts much more like a parent to Puchiko rather than a big sister in ''Winter Garden''.
* ReformedBully: ''Winter Garden'' shows that Dejiko eventually grew out of her jerkish ways.
* RoyalBrat: Dejiko is a princess and can be quite a pain. She is used to having things go her way and always getting what she wants.
* SecretlySelfish: While Dejiko in ''Panyo Panyo'' is still a much better and more generous person than her other incarnations, there still are several times when her choices on how to solve or approach a problem are based on her own personal interests.
* SeriesMascot: She is this to the entire franchise, along with the company behind it.
* SingleWomanSeeksGoodMan: Dejiko falls in love with Takurou Senba in ''Winter Garden'' after he gives her his umbrella and swaps cakes with her, since his remained undamaged when they bumped into each other.
* {{Tsundere}}: To an extent. She tries to be sweet, but her temper gets in the way.
* UngratefulBastard: In ''Ohanami Special'', Rabi~en~Rose risks her life to find a rare fruit to cure Dejiko's illness. Dejiko's immediate response is to call her [[DoNotCallMePaul Usada]] and the two immediately go back to fighting.
* UnsympatheticComedyProtagonist: Dejiko is self-centered, lazy, rude, and the main character of the franchise. It’s not uncommon to see her be a common target of LaserGuidedKarma, particularly in ''Nyo!''.
* UsedToBeASweetKid: She's portrayed as much kinder in ''Panyo Panyo'', where she's also several years younger.
* VerbalTic: Ends her sentences in "nyo".
* YaoiFangirl: Dejiko is originally depicted as being a fan of the [[Franchise/TheKingOfFighters Kyo and Iori]] ship, wishing to get BL {{doujinshi}} of both of them. Dejiko being a fujoshi is a MythologyGag used in the original series, when she contemplates the possibility of doing a doujinshi with both Takurous as her pairing subject.

[[folder:Puchiko]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/puchiko.png]]
->'''AKA:''' Petit Charat, Cappuccino (real name)\
'''Age:''' 5 (usually), 3 (''Panyo Panyo''), 15 (''Winter Garden'')\
'''First debut:''' ''From GAMERS'' (July 1999)\

'''Voiced by (EN):''' Creator/KarenStrassman (1999, ''Leave it to Piyoko-pyo!'' [[note]] last few episodes only, at first, Miyuki Sawashiro reprised her role for the dub [[/note]]), Creator/HilaryHaag (''Panyo Panyo'', ''Manga/CromartieHighSchool''), Creator/MarietteSluyter (''Nyo!'')\
'''Voiced by (LA SP):''' Giannina Jurado [[note]]most of the series, in the last few episodes she was replaced by Jhaidy Barboza[[/note]] (''Nyo!'')

Petit Charat (Puchiko) is the younger sister of Dejiko and a major character in the franchise. Supposed {{sidekick}} of Dejiko and inhabitant of her planet. Her EyeBeams ability is weaker than Dejiko's, but she compensates with extra cuteness and a sharp tongue. As with Dejiko, she also has a VerbalTic -- she ends her sentences with "-nyu". She is a subversion of the quiet and shy moe girl, in that she is ''so'' quiet that she is often completely withdrawn from everything around her, and when she does speak, she tends to be quite rude.
----
* AdaptationalJobChange:
** Instead of working at Gamers, in ''Nyo!'', Puchiko works at a bakery.
** ''Winter Garden'' sees Puchiko briefly get a job at [=McDonald's=].
* AdaptationalNiceGirl: Puchiko lacks many of her snarkier traits in ''Winter Garden'' and is the one who gets Dejiko to patch things up with Senbou.
* CurtainsMatchTheWindow: Brown hair and eyes.
* CatGirl: Her ears and tail are yellow.
* CatsAreSnarkers: Puchiko is a catlike alien, and often has a sarcastic remark to say.
* EyeBeams: Puchiko has them, but they are still in development, with some random good results.
%%* FarOutForeignersFavoriteFood: Puchiko enjoys fermented beans.
* GirlishPigtails: Puchiko is a cute little girl who wears her hair pigtails decorated with bells.
* HowDoIShotWeb: She struggles to use her EyeBeams due to how young she is.
* LittleMissSnarker: The youngest character at just 5 years old, and whenever she speaks, she tends to have a biting remark.
* MagicMisfire: Puchiko's attempts to use her EyeBeams power cause her eyes to emit strange slime creatures that crawl away.
* PluckyComicRelief: Puchiko fulfills this role in the rather down-to-earth ''Winter Garden'', providing many of the special’s comedic moments by either teasing Dejiko about her crush on Senbou or showing off her job at [=McDonald’s=].
* TheStoic: Puchiko rarely emotes in any incarnation of the franchise.
* TokenMiniMoe: While most of the main cast are kids, she's ridiculously tiny, exaggerating this to an extreme.
* VerbalTic: Ends her sentences in "nyu".
* WhatExactlyIsHisJob: After capturing Puchiko in Episode 16 of ''Panyo Panyo'', Piyoko refers to her as the member who contributes absolutely nothing.
* WiseBeyondTheirYears: In ''Panyo Panyo'', Puchiko is three years old, but she can walk, talk and easily keep up with a trio of girls that are five years older than her.

[[folder:Gema]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/gema.png]]
-> '''Age:''' Unknown\
'''First debut:''' ''From GAMERS''\
'''Voiced by (JPN):''' Creator/YoshikoKamei\
'''Voiced by (EN):''' Creator/StephanieSheh (1999, ''Leave it to Piyoko-pyo!''), Creator/TiffanyGrant (''Panyo Panyo''), Creator/LucasGilbertson (''Nyo!'')\
'''Voiced by (LA SP):''' Maritza Rojas (''Nyo!'')

Geman Gemaningballs (Gema) is a big floating yellow ball with a simple, tiny, upside-down face. He is a long-suffering NonHumanSidekick and failed mentor, usually the victim of Dejiko's eye beam. He ends all his sentences with "-gema".
----
* AccidentalMisnaming: It's a RunningGag in ''Nyo!'' that no one can ever remember Gema's name, despite his protests that it should be the easiest to remember.
* AdaptedOut: Does not appear at all in ''Winter Garden'', most likely due to the special’s more down-to-earth nature.
* BadlyBatteredBabysitter: Gema is Dejiko and Puchiko's caretaker and tends to often be on the receiving end of their abuse.
* BlackBeadEyes: In contrast to the rest of the main cast, Gema has a simple pair of black dots for eyes.
* {{Cephalothorax}}: Gema is a floating ball with two arms sticking out.
* TheChewToy: He is supposed to be "mentoring" Dejiko, but is often used as her personal punching bag for comedic value. He eventually gets various revenges as response, but he is still unsuccessful in his attempts.
* NotSoAboveItAll: Gema will sometimes join in on Dejiko and Puchiko’s mocking of Rabi~en~Rose, even though he regularly chastises the two for being rude.
* PokemonSpeak: Uses his name as a VerbalTic.
* ShesAManInJapan: In the Latin-Spanish dub of ''Nyo!'', Gema is dubbed as female, despite being male in the original version.
* TookALevelInBadass: Gema is much more formidable in his world, possessing several RealityWarper powers and making short work of Dejiko, Puchiko, and Usada.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Rabi~en~Rose]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/rabienrose.png]]
->'''AKA:''' Hikaru Usada (real name)\
'''Age:''' 14 (usually), 24 (''Winter Garden''), 15 (''Reiwa'')\
'''Voiced by (JPN):''' Creator/KyokoHikami (1999-2008, 2013-present), Creator/ReikaYazawa (2008)\
'''Voiced by (EN):''' Creator/MichelleRuff (1999, ''Leave it to Piyoko-pyo!''), Creator/CarolAnneDay (''Nyo!'')\
'''Voiced by (LA SP):''' Creator/YensiRivero (''Nyo!'')

Hikaru Usada (Rabi~en~Rose) is an aspiring idol and TheRival of Dejiko. Usada is a [[{{Muggles}} young human]] teenager, also an aspiring idol, with a bunny-like [[CosplayOtakuGirl cosplay]] and a sob-story backstory that changes depending on the franchise's incarnation. She is a parody of the typical "rival" character in anime, in that she's more sympathetic than Dejiko and often shows superior skill, yet she still loses most of the time because she's not the main character.
----
* AbusiveParents: As if the ParentalAbandonment wasn't already bad enough, in ''Natsuyasumi Special'' Rabi~en~Rose's parents not only make her paddle all the way to America using nothing but her ears, they ''also'' [[spoiler:set up a fake home and address in order to trick her, turning her entire trek into a ShaggyDogStory]].
* AdaptationalAngstDowngrade: Rabi~en~Rose's parents abandoned her in the original series and gave her the mission of becoming an idol. In ''Nyo!'' her parents are actually around and help to guide her on her mission.
* AdaptationalJobChange:
** In ''Nyo!'' she works for her parents at their salon rather than at Gamers.
** ''Winter Garden'' has her work as an actress.
* AdaptationalNiceGirl: Rabi~en~Rose is much less antagonistic towards Dejiko in ''Nyo!'' compared to the original series. Despite this, Dejiko is just as rude as ever to her.
* AdaptationalRelationshipOverhaul:
** In the original series, Minataku had a crush on her that seemed rather unrequited. In ''Nyo!'', she’s the one who has a crush on Kiyoshi, who is based on Minataku.
** She also has a much closer relationship with her parents in ''Nyo!'' due to them not abandoning her.
* AdaptationalUpbringingChange: In the original series, Usada's parents abandoned her and left her a pair of dice to help her with her goal of becoming an idol. In ''Nyo!'', she's part of a long lineage of people who transform and lives with her parents at their salon.
* AnimalMotifs: Rabi~en~Rose~'s name, real name ("Usada"), and idol cosplay suit are influenced by rabbits.
* CassandraTruth: Rabi~en~Rose tries to convince the others that she is related to Akari Usada, however, they refuse to believe her.
* CharacterizationMarchesOn: In the 1999 anime, Rabi~en~Rose is a lot more antagonistic to Dejiko and is actually the instigator of conflict in several episodes, including her debut in Episode 2. While she and Dejiko would continue to have a rocky relationship in later entries, Dejiko became the one to instigate conflict almost exclusively, including the specials that came later.
* ClarkKenting: Usada wears a pair of glasses and puts her hair into braids when not dressed as Rabi~en~Rose. Unsurprisingly, this isn’t all that effective of a disguise and most people are able to easily figure out that she’s Rabi~en~Rose.
* DemotedToExtra: Gets hit with this in both ''Panyo Panyo'' and ''Winter Garden'', with her only making brief cameos in both.
* DoNotCallMePaul: She doesn't like to be called Usada, which only makes Dejiko do it more.
** The ''Ohanami Special'' shows that this becomes inverted when she is Hikaru Usada, where she does not want to be called Rabi~en~Rose.
* TheDragAlong: It is not uncommon for Rabi~en~Rose to be literally roped into Dejiko's adventures.
* FutureLoser: Inverted. ''Winter Garden'' reveals that she grew up to become a successful actress.
* GirlishPigtails: When using her idol costume, Rabi~en~Rose uses them as her main characteristic feature.
* HeliCritter: Rabi~en~Rose can use her rabbit ears to fly
* IdolSinger: She wants to be an idol singer in Akihabara, which her parents left to "support her" with.
* LikeIsLikeAComma: Usada talks like this in the Studio Iron Cat translation of Dejiko’s Champion Cup, with nearly every sentence of her's including the word “like” somewhere.
* LittleBitBeastly: {{Subverted|Trope}}, as her ears are actually part of her costume.
* MinorLivingAlone: {{Justified|Trope}}, given the whole parental abandonment thing.
* MundaneUtility: In ''Nyo!'', Rabi~en~Rose uses her speed and powers in order to pass out flyers for her parents' business.
%%* NerdsLoveToughSchoolWork: Usada goes to both regular school ''and'' the special princess school that Dejiko and her friends go to.
* ParentalAbandonment: Rabi's parents leave her to head for America, so she can have a "difficult, penniless childhood until she makes her debut as a great idol." They also give her a pair of dice which she'll need to help her become an idol. How exactly, is anybody's guess.
* PinkMeansFeminine: Usada has pink hair and her outfit as Rabi~en~Rose is also very pink.
* RighteousRabbit: Rabi~en~Rose has a rabbit theme and is much more heroic compared to Dejiko.
* TheRival: She's Dejiko's rival in regards to their aspirations of becoming idols.
* ShoutOut: Both of her names can apply. "Hikaru Usada" is an obvious reference to singer-songwriter Music/HikaruUtada, while "Rabi~en~Rose"[[note]]Whose name is actually OfficialFanSubmittedContent, so even if there is some wordplay or referencing involved, it's not really attributable to the creators[[/note]] would be an obvious nod to the song "La Vie en Rose", as well as a likely send-up of [[Music/LArcEnCiel L'Arc~En~Ciel]].
* UnusualEars: A lot of characters have animal ears. Rabi~en~Rose however, only has her bunny ears as part of her idol costume, and lacks them as Hikaru.
[[/folder]]

!!Black Gema Gema Gang
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/blackgema.png]]
A gang of evildoers who attempt to kidnap Dejiko. The main characters of the spin-off manga, ''Manga/DiGiCharatGGBG''. The three that take care of Piyoko are all doctors.

[[folder:In general]]
* AdaptedOut: Rik, Ky, and Coo are absent from ''Panyo Panyo'' with Piyoko instead working with the Deji-Devil.
* AnimalMotifs: PKO (Coo, Ryk and Ky)'s looks are based on dogs. Coo even transforms into a dog in many visual gags.
* ChildhoodFriends: Coo has known Piyoko since they were very young.
* CropCircles: The Black Gema Gema Gang's ship leaves Panda-shaped crop circles behind.
* DubNameChange: Creator/VizMedia's translation of ''Di Gi Charat Official Anthology'' refers to the Black Gema Gema Gang as the "Dark Gema Gema Gang" instead, this is the only case of this as every other translation of the franchise maintains the original name [[note]] The Creator/SentaiFilmworks release of the specials refers to them as the "Black Gema Gema Corps", but this is still in line with the established translation [[/note]].
* HospitalHottie: Piyoko's henchmen, Rik, Coo, and Ky, all work as doctors and are quite handsome.
* IneffectualSympatheticVillain: Considering how their schemes are always doomed to fail and how they're stuck in PerpetualPoverty, they qualify as this.
* LowerClassLout: The Black Gema Gema Gang are usually portrayed as being penniless, and usually want to capture Dejiko specifically for the money.
* PlotIrrelevantVillain: Piyoko and her gang are this in the first two episodes of ''Natsuyasumi Special''. They spend both episodes stranded in other continents, and not encountering the rest of the cast until the end of the second episode.
* PerpetualPoverty: They're always strapped for cash and trying to make ends meet one way or another.
* TerribleTrio: While they are a quartet, Rik, Ky, and Coo are Piyoko’s henchmen and carry out her orders as a trio.

[[folder:Piyoko]]
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/piyoko.png]]
->'''AKA:''' Pyocola Analogue III\
'''Age:''' 8 (usually), 6 (''Panyo Panyo'')\
'''First debut:''' ''Di Gi Charat Summer Special 2000''\
'''Voiced by (JPN):''' Creator/MegumiHayashibara\
'''Voiced by (EN):''' Creator/SandyFox (''Leave it to Piyoko-pyo!''), Creator/KiraVincentDavis (''Panyo Panyo''), Creator/LedaDavies (''Nyo!'')\
'''Voiced by (LA SP):''' Creator/RebecaAponte (''Nyo!'')

Pyocola Analogue III (Piyoko) is Dejiko's arch-enemy and TheLeader of the gang. She has several spin-off manga dedicated to her. Her parents attempted and failed to take over planet Di Gi Charat and fled in embarrassment, leaving Piyoko in the care of Ryk, Ky and Coo. She can shoot a beam from her mouth.
----
* AdaptationalIntelligence: Piyoko is a lot smarter in ''Panyo Panyo'', and comes up with several schemes of her own whereas she is usually a HarmlessVillain. It's especially impressive as she is actually younger here.
* AdaptationalVillainy: Piyoko is eviler in ''Panyo Panyo'' than her original counterpart, with her actively trying to cause harm to Dejiko and her friends. Most of the schemes in the original series involved either kidnapping Dejiko or just trying to mildly annoy/inconvenience others.
* AnimalMotifs: Piyoko's appearance is based on a panda.
* TheDragon: In ''Panyo Panyo'' she is the number two to the Deji-Devil who puts his plans into action.
* DumbBlonde: Piyoko has blonde hair and isn't the brightest person around, although it is somewhat justified due to her young age.
* EvilCannotComprehendGood: Piyoko has no idea why her pig in the race stopped before the finish line after she told him that the losing pig would become a meal at the after-party.
* EvilWearsBlack: Piyoko’s outfit in ''Panyo Panyo'' is almost all black excluding the white apron she wears.
* IdiotHair: Like her enemy Dejiko, she also has an ahoge, though hers is more curled.
* TheLeader: To the Black Gema Gema Gang, despite being the youngest member.
* NeverMyFault: Episode 3 of ''Summer Special 2000'' has Piyoko blame Dejiko for her lying face down on the asphalt and getting burned. When the Gebas point out how that reasoning doesn't make sense, Piyoko blows them all up with an upchuck Bazooka.
* PokeThePoodle: Piyoko often exaggerates the morality of her inconsequential misdeeds.
--> '''Piyoko:''' Waiting till the dinner is served and leaving without eating it: such is the way of evil, pyo.
* SurroundedByIdiots: Piyoko holds this opinion of the Gebas, especially in the ''Summer Special'', viewing them as being incredibly useless.
* TinyTyrannicalGirl: Piyoko is an 8 year old girl who is TheLeader of an evil gang.
* TookALevelInDumbass: Piyoko was decently competent in the ''Summer Special'', coming up with plans that were genuinely evil and threatening to Dejiko and her friends. Afterwards, she would become much more ditzy, with her plans usually being only slightly inconveniencing at best.
* VerbalTic: Ends her sentences with "pyo".
* VillainDecay: Piyoko was a somewhat formidable opponent when she debuted in the ''Summer Special'', notably Dejiko books it when she finds out that Piyoko is part of the Black Gema Gema Gang. Later on, the cast would more often than not treat her as being a minor nuisance.
* VillainProtagonist: She's one in the ''Leave it to Piyoko-pyo!'' series, where she's the main character and ''still'' trying to kidnap Dejiko.
* VillainousPrincess: Downplayed. While Piyoko does try and do evil things, they are usually PokeThePoodle most of the time.
* VocalDissonance: Piyoko has a rather mature voice for a six-year-old in the English dub of ''Panyo Panyo''. She also has a more mature voice in the dub of ''Nyo!''.
* YouHaveFailedMe: A non-lethal variant. When Piyoko is unhappy with the performance of her henchman, she will blast them with her upchuck bazooka.
* YoungAndInCharge: She's a gang leader at just 8 years old.
* WiseBeyondTheirYears: Piyoko is only six in ''Panyo Panyo'', and as is easily able to pull off all the Deji-Devil's schemes, often without any help.

Rik Heisenberg is a veterinarian and the marshal of the gang. He considers himself the father of the gang's family dynamic.
----
* AnimalLover: Rik loves animals a lot and keeps many. It's fitting, given his occupation (veterinarian).
* CurtainsMatchTheWindow: Purple hair and eyes.
* FriendToAllLivingThings: He is followed by many animals.
* LittleBitBeastly: He has dog ears and a tail, and wears a dog collar.
* TeamDad: He considers himself the father of the Black Gema Gema Gang.
* UnmanlySecret: Rik enjoys sushi and fried noodles, something he considers embarrassing due to how extravagant they are.

Kiyoshi Omocha is a boy who lives at the Omocha Toy Shop with his older brother, Yasushi, and goes to the same school as Rabi~en~Rose. He is based on Takurou Minagawa from the original series.
----
* AdaptationPersonalityChange: Kiyoshi has a lot more of a backbone compared to Minataku, and is much more willing to speak his mind.
* AdaptationalRelationshipOverhaul:
** In the original series, Minataku had a crush on Rabi~en~Rose that was rather unrequited. Here Rabi~en~Rose is the one that has a crush on Kiyoshi, and it’s implied that he returns her feelings. As well, the two are implied to have known each other before the series began, whereas Minataku met Rabi~en~Rose for the first time when he went to Gamers.
** Kiyoshi has a lot more interactions and a closer relationship with Dejiko and Gema due to them both living with him.

* VocalDissonance: Despite being a middle schooler, Kiyoshi has a very mature-sounding voice in the English dub.
