----

!Main characters

!!Penelope "Peppi" Torres
The main protagonist of "Awkward". A part of the art club, Peppi is an incredibly awkward girl doing her best for her club, acting as a sort of confidant to Mari. However, her main issues stem from an incident in which she accidentally shoved Jaime, along with her poor reaction.
----
* ExtremeDoormat: She has a very hard time saying no, especially when Mari makes demands of her.
* EurekaMoment: After the clubs are suspended and everyone, herself included, is down in the dumps about it, Peppi finds inspiration from Ms. Tobins' talk about Renaissance artists, and how they could intersect art and science. Jaime's assistance helps immensely.
%%* Fangirl: To Jesse, the lead singer of a pop music band.
* He is Not My Boyfriend: Both before and after the club war gets resolved, Peppi is constantly teased about having a crush on Jaime, even by her friends.
* TheKlutz: Peppi trips over her own feet in her introduction.
* OnlySaneMan: Like Jaime, she seems to be the only one who doesn't let the rivalry between clubs go to her head. Taken to its logical conclusion when she calls out both clubs for ensuring their mutual downfall.
* ShipTease: With Jaime, full stop. However, this seems to be subverted in "Time Capsule" when it's revealed that she's crushing on a person named Jesse. Double subverted when it's revealed that she was actually referring to a singer. That being said, it is heavily implied that the two are more content to be friends, despite everyone's teasing.
* SuperScream: After the local bullies push her one step too far by harassing Jaime, she lets out positively HUGE scream that scares them both off. An impressed Jaime comments that it might as well have been heard all the way from space.

!!Jaime Thompson
The boy from the science club Penelope pushes by accident, kicking off a majority of the narrative. He shares none of the mean-spirited animosity his peers have for the other club, and is a very quiet individual. It's frankly a miracle he hasn't completely lost his mind having to work in the middle of a pointless war that his pompous peers more or less started.
----
* AllTheOtherReindeer: Most of the student body seems to ignore, tease, or outright make fun of him wherever he goes. That's not to say there aren't exceptions.
* ADayInTheLimelight: The short story "Time Capsule" is from his point of view.
%%* BookSmart:
* BrainyBrunette: Jaime is a smart boy with dark brown hair.
* CuteBookworm: Jaime is a soft-spoken member of the science club.
* CrazyJealousGuy: AVERTED. Jaime does become anxious when he learns that Peppi is crushing on an unknown person named Jessie, and obsesses over who it could be, but his fears are founded less on losing Peppi as a love interest and more on losing her as a friend. What's more is that he points out to Derek that Peppi is her own person, and he respects that. Then again, Jesse was just a pop singer, so his fears were unfounded anyway.
* FriendlessBackground: "Time Capsule" reveals that Jaime did almost everything, even celebrate his own birthday, by himself before meeting Peppi.
* IntelligenceEqualsIsolation: He is an exceptionally smart boy who has spent most of his days at school unpopular and all alone. He eventually gains a friend in Peppi.
* NiceGuy: There's not a single bad bone in this kid's body.
* NotSoAboveItAll: Although he's nowhere as egotistical as his peers, he shows a passion on par with Jensen's most imaginative moments when it comes to making a Berrybrook-related time capsule for the people of the future to discover.
* OnlySaneMan: Like Peppi, he's the only person in his club that doesn't join in on scheming against the opposition.
%%* PlatonicLifePartners: The best way to describe his friendship with Peppi...maybe.
* PopCulturalOsmosisFailure: Had no idea that the "Jesse" Peppi was crushing on was a pop singer. Peppi is at the very least aware that he doesn't get a whole lot of pop cultural references.
* SheIsNotMyGirlfriend: Gets teased for liking Peppi. He has to make it clear that she's his friend first and foremost.
* ShipTease: With Peppi. Though, as shown in "Time Capsule", he seems to value her as more of a friend than a potential girlfriend. The very end of the short has a girl in his English class give him a love letter, solidifying this.
* StrongFamilyResemblance: Has the same pale-white skin and haircut as his father.

!!Jensen Graham
A shy and nerdy boy who dreams of one day becoming a NASA astronaut, and the protagonist of "Brave". The trouble is that he's not big on book learning, he's the target of the local bullies, and he can never seem to muster up the courage to contribute in any meaningful way. But his heart and imagination is in the right place, and he has a few friends he can turn to.
----
* AscendedExtra: Originally a secondary character in "Awkward", Jensen becomes the main character in "Brave".
* BookDumb: Academics are far from his strong suit.
* BulliedIntoDepression: Foster and Yanic's constant targeting of him does no wonders for his psyche.
* BullyMagnet: Foster and Yanic's favorite targets.
* ConspiracyTheorist: Jensen is thoroughly convinced that the world is heading for an apocalyptic event one way or another, though he seems particularly fixated on sunspots in "Awkward", to the point where he wrote an overly long diatribe about them for the art club. More than twice. Come "Brave", and he's expanded his irrational fears to zombie apocalypses.
* CrazyPrepared: Related to the above, Jensen claims to be prepared for just about any disaster, natural or otherwise. Unfortunately, none of it helps his academic skills.
* EverybodyHatesMathematics: While not unique in this aspect, he utterly loathes math class.
* ExtremeDoormat: Moreso than Peppi. He can barely comprehend that his friends might be making fun of him, and he has huge problems being honest about when he's being bullied. Thankfully, he grows out of it with Jenny and Akilah's help.
* TheFriendNobodyLikes: A lot of the students like to make fun of him and/or get irritated whenever he tries to say something. Even those in the art club (barring Peppi and Felicity) don't seem to like him that much.
* GrewASpine: As the story progresses, and especially after Felicity's suspension, he slowly starts to find more confidence in himself, to the point of telling Foster and Yannic off for their bullying. Sure, he did it while almost on the verge of tears and not long before Yannic takes it too far, but it's miles beyond what he used to be like.
* HeroicBSOD: A combination of constant bullying, bad grades, and the increasing notion that his friends seem him as little more than a joke causes him to temporarily give up on trying to be useful. Fittingly, he gets a nasty case of the flu not long afterwards, causing him to miss a week of school.
* TheMcCoy: Easily the most emotionally-driven between him, Jenny, and Akilah. However, this mostly results in him becoming an ExtremeDoormat.
* MrImagination: Jensen's imagine spots are quite vivid and frequent, to say the least. To name but a few examples, he imagines himself as a video game character, an archaeologist, and a Greek philosopher. All in the first chapter.
* ShipTease: A bit with Felicity, as he was the one who managed to get enough signatures to get her out of suspension, and she gives him a massive hug upon hearing about that. Jensen notes that it's the first time anyone outside of his family hugged him, and he's blushing hard.

!!Jorge Ruiz
The main protagonist of "Crush". An absolute monolith of a middle-schooler, Jorge is the unofficial sheriff of Berrybrook, striking fear into the hearts of the rowdy and keeping the peace in any way he can. But in truth, Jorge is an otherwise charitable and peaceful person who just so happens to look very imposing. It would take a lot to break his composure...like a classic case of love at first sight, for instance. Like that's ever gonna happen, right?
----
* AllergicToLove: At first, Jorge could care less about relationships, and is vastly uncomfortable with the mere notion that he might have a crush on Jasmine. Just thinking about them dating sends him into a blind panic. He gets better, though.
* AscendedExtra: Like Jensen before him, he got his own story after making an appearance in a previous one.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: Although mostly a reserved and friendly person most of the time, there are times where Jorge has come dangerously close to losing his temper. Zeke in particular drew his ire the most.
%%* BroodingBoyGentleGirl: The Brooding Guy to Jazmine's Gentle Girl.
* BullyHunter: As the unofficial warden of Berrybrook, he takes it upon himself to quell any harassment he sees.
* CannotTalkToWomen: Jorge's speaking abilities rust and freeze whenever in Jazmine's presence for a large portion of "Crush". He can talk to girls like Liv just fine, though.
%%* ChildhoodFriends: With Liv and Garrett.
%%* TheDreaded: Only to any bullies at Berrybrook.
* FaceOfAThug: As seen in "Brave", Jensen is initially terrified of being partnered up with someone as large and intimidating as Jorge. But he's a good person behind that stoic exterior.
* FrameUp: Unfortunately finds himself on the receiving end of this when Garrett accidentally uses his login to enter a chat alongside James full of hurtful and mean-spirited words. Soon, almost the entire school (barring his close friends) is against him. Luckily, everything is cleared up not long afterwards.
* GentleGiant: Jorge is a big kid, but he's very sweet and caring.
%%* HugeGuyTinyGirl: The Huge Guy to Jazmine's Tiny Girl.
* LovableJock: While he competes in the sports teams at his school, he is not mean at all. That is, unless you are a bully.
* NoSocialSkills: Sort of. He's perfectly fine when talking to most people, but he admits that it's hard for him to understand how chaotic the middle-school scene can be. Of course, all of his skills go down the drain when it comes to first-time crushes.
* NotSoStoic: Upon developing feelings for Jasmine, Jorge's reserved and powerful exterior starts falling to pieces. The effect is equal parts hilarious and adorable.
** That being said, there are times where his stoic demeanor breaks for less than funny reasons, such as his expression when he learned that Garrett (unintentionally) got him framed for nasty comments on the internet.
* TheStoic: The most calm and reserved student around, moreso than Jaime. That being said, it isn't completely inpenetrable.
* TranquilFury: His default state whenever laying down the law. However, it is clear during his confrontations with Zeke that he's holding in a metric ton of rage at him. The second time, Jazmine has to hold him back.

!!Jazmine Duong
A kid from the drama club, a good friend of Liv's, and the girl whom Jorge takes a shinning to, whether he likes it or not. Jazmine is a very gentle person, though she often comes off as a bit shy at times. Nevertheless, she's always willing to lend a helping hand, and her passion for acting is second to none.
----
%%* BroodingBoyGentleGirl: The Gentle Girl to Jorge's Brooding Boy.
* HiddenDepths: Despite her shy nature most of the time, she's an amazingly versatile actress when in plays.
%%* HugeGuyTinyGirl: The Tiny Girl to Jorge's Huge Guy.
* ImportantHaircut: Cuts her hair short for charity alongside Liv and Brooke.
* NiceGirl: Her kindness and understanding demeanor is downright unbreakable most of the time. Fittingly, she's one of the few students who don't believe Jorge is a bad person for a second after he gets framed.
* SingleWomanSeeksGoodMan: Jazmine reciprocates Jorge's feelings for her mainly due to how considerate and equally good-natured he is in contrast to her previous date, Zeke.
%%* TownGirls: The neither to Brooke's femme and Liv's butch.

!!Felicity Teale

An art club student, Felicity is the kind of kid who wears her heart on her sleeve. Friendly and kind to a fault, her true conflict is picking something to do and actually sticking to it, and her sister is keen on letting her know it all the time. Unfortunately, this push to actually get something done causes then-unforeseen trust issues to bubble up.
----
* AscendedExtra: Becomes the subject of a major subplot in "Brave". And then, like Jensen and Jorge before her, she becomes the main character of her own story, "Enemies".
* CosplayOtakuGirl: Felicity cosplays as a sailor scout at one point. Based on Peppi's description, it was one heck of a display...that also got her suspended temporarily due to the length of her skirt.
* NiceGirl: The only student in the art club who stands up for Jensen and calls out the others.

!Secondary Characters

!!Maribella Samson
A strong-willed girl, and unofficial president of the art club. However, behind all of that passion and hard work ethic is a very troubled person...
----
* AbusiveParents: Only her father, a man who views his own wife as a lazy do-nothing and constantly pressures his daughter to excel at everything. Naturally, he's left in the dust by them.
* ADayInTheLimelight: "New Girl" is about what happened when she moved away with her mother, and her difficulty integrating into a new school.
* BrokenAce: As great as she can be, she's ultimately doing it all under pressure due to her dad demanding she succeeds at everything.
* Foil: To Peppi. While Peppi is TheKlutz and an ExtremeDoormat to boot, Mari is a GoGetterGirl and, as some other students describe her, "an unstoppable force of nature". However, Mari also has an emotionally abusive father while Peppi is on good terms with her own family.
* GoGetterGirl: She is outgoing! She takes charge! She won't let the science club get the better of the art club! She's also trying desperately to meet the standards her dad has laid out.
* KarmaHoudini: Because Peppi refuses to rat her out, .
* NiceJobBreakingItHero: Mari stealing the remote all but kickstarts the downward spiral that leads to the suspension of both clubs. Not that she felt that she had a choice, though.
* TrophyChild: Her father expects her to win against the science club, and if she doesn't he becomes quite scary.
* WellDoneSonGuy: A female example. Mari's father is an extremely successful person, to the point where he shook hands with the mayor at one point, and he constantly pressures his daughter into being a similar success story. This incessant micromanaging ends up causing Mari to cheat out of desperation before she and her mom end up moving away from him anyway.
* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: After she and her mother move away to get away from her abusive father, she is never mentioned nor heard from again. However, the "New Girl" short story reveals that she's gone to a new school.

!! Foster and Yanic
Two bullies almost never seen apart from one another. They are major antagonists for the first two books, with their presence felt more in the second one due to their favorite target being Jensen.
----
* BookDumb: It's clear that they're not that big on learning. An example is Yanic not knowing what a terrarium is.
%%* TheBully: The both of them qualify.
%%* Delinquents: The best way to describe the both of them.
* TheFriendNobodyLikes: NO ONE, not even Derek's group, sees them as cool or funny.
* HeelFaceTurn: Foster comes to regret being such a horrible person after getting suspended, and it is heavily implied that Jensen befriends him at the end.
* HeelRealization: Upon hearing Jensen tell him and Yanic how awful they make his life, Foster looks legitimately horrified at his own actions, and even tries to get Yanic to stop. It doesn't save him from getting suspended for a while, but the ending shows that he's no longer the bully he used to be.
* KidsAreCruel: Rarely does the series dip into this with its characters, but they most certainly qualify. Yannic even mocks a kid with crutches for a laugh. And as Jensen notices, he just keeps getting worse as the story progresses.
* LaserGuidedKarma: Especially on Yanic's part. After he breaks Jensen's glasses (despite even Foster's pleas), the both of them are caught and suspended. Only Foster, the more regretful of the two, comes back, and even then, he's treated the same way he and Yannic treated others. Jensen offers to forgive him, anyway.

!! Tessa Winston
One of Peppi's friends at the art club.
----
* JerkassBall: Acts rather callous and rude towards Jensen in "Brave", moreso than usual. Thankfully, she stops.
* JerkassRealization: At some point after Foster and Yanic's suspension, she apologizes to Jensen for being so insensitive to him, though she stops talking to him for a week, presumably out of guilt. Her apology gift afterwards is a nice cupcake.
%%* TheRival: To Derek, as the two are most often seen butting heads.

!! Nina Badyal
Another friend of Peppi.
----
* FlatCharacter: She does not have a lot of characterization compared to Tessa and Peppi.

!!Derek Lee
The main speaking member of the science club. Derek embodies the often smug and arrogant nature of the club, constantly formulating plans to discredit the opposing art club. His treatment of Jaime is hardly better, as he seems to see him as a mere utility for the club.
----
* InsufferableGenius: The science club's success has gone to his head.
* EveryoneHasStandards: Even before the end of "Awkward", he and his cohorts had no patience for Foster and Yanic's disrespectful behavior.
* HeelFaceTurn: After both his club and the art club collaborate on a successful project, Derek mellows out significantly, to the point where he is one of the first kids to call out the bullies for trying to harass Peppi and Jaime again. That being said, "Time Capsule" shows that he hasn't lost all of his less than savory tendencies, as he still teases Jaime.
%%* TheRival: To Tessa.
* ToxicFriendInfluence: Encourages Jaime's anxious obsession with who Jesse is when the latter worries about what it will do to his friendship with Peppi, just for laughs.
%%* TerribleTrio: With Leticia and Jack.

!!Leticia Teale
----
%%* BlackAndNerdy: She is just as smart as Derek.
* InsufferableGenius: Once again, Leticia is very smart, but rubs it in the art club's faces.
%%* TerribleTrio: With Derek and Jack.

!! Jenny Yao
The serious-minded paper editor at Berrybrook. Works alongside Akilah.
----
%%* ChildhoodFriends: With Akilah since Kindergarten.
* Foil: To Akilah. Despite being best friends, she's a hot-tempered force to be reckoned with when it comes to getting the job done, while Akilah is a lot more emotional and open with others.
* KnightTemplar: Jenny focuses on telling the objective truth of the school paper, no matter what. This ends up driving a wedge in her relationship with Akilah and Jensen.
* MoodSwinger: As described by Jensen, Jenny has three settings; cool and professional, freaking out and frantic, and "Don't mess with me, for I am the wrath of angels" apocalypse.
%%* NiceMeanAndInBetween: The mean to Akilah's in-between and Felipe's nice.
* ThePerfectionist: If something is not done as properly as possible, she will either freak out or hold a massive grudge.
* TheSpock: Operates on a strict work ethic and an adherence to pure fact.
* RageBreakingPoint: Her refusal to publish anything regarding the Felicity scandal and Akilah admonishing her for such causes her to lash out and kick everyone she works with out. She comes to regret it later.
%%* VitriolicBestBuds: With Akilah.

!!Akilah Salib
Berrybrook's staff reporter. Works alongside Jenny.
----
%%* ChildhoodFriends: With Jenny since Kindergarten.
* Foil: To Jenny. Although they are best friends, Akilah does not have the same absolute desire for the truth, and is a lot more sociable and cheerful.
* NiceGirl: Much more open and kind to Jensen than Jenny.
* TheKirk: A prominent figure in the student body who is not as fact-oriented nor neurotic as Jenny or Jensen.
%%* NiceMeanAndInBetween: The in-between to Jenny's mean and Felipe's nice.
%%* VitriolicBestBuds: With Jenny.

!!Felipe
A boy who works alongside Jenny and Akilah.
-----
* MellowFellow: He is very relaxed compared to Akilah and especially Jenny.
%%* NiceMeanAndInBetween: The nice to Jenny's mean and Akilah's in-between.

!!Olivia "Liv" Hoffman
Jorge's best friend.
----
* AscendedExtra: Alongside Jorge, she becomes a major character in "Crush".
* BoyishShortHair: Cuts her hair short mid-story and apparently wore it this way when she was younger.
* BullyHunter: More times than not, she'll scare off bullies with Jorge, though her methods are a lot more direct, to say the least.
%%* ChildhoodFriends: With Jorge and Garrett.
* DudeMagnet: Has had more than one ex-boyfriend, Marcus included. However, she admits to Jorge that they may have been driven away by her HotBlooded attitude.
* HairTriggerTemper: It takes very little to set her off, though it's PlayedForLaughs...most of the time, at least.
* HotBlooded: In contrast with Jorge, Liv is ten times more vocal when making her displeasure known.
%%* ImportantHaircut: Cuts her hair short alongside Jazmine and Brooke.
%%* PassionateSportsGirl: Liv is a member of the athletics club.
* ShipperOnDeck: Explodes with excitement upon hearing that Jorge asked Jazmine out to the athletics ball.
* TheSocialExpert: Knows exactly what to do when it comes to organizing student get-togethers. Jorge even admits that she could doom the entire school if she weaponized her social skills.
%%* TomboyishPonytail: Wore her hair this way until her ImportantHaircut.
* TomboyWithAGirlyStreak: Very assertive and passionate tomboy who attends the sports ball in a dress.
%%* TownGirls: The butch to Jazmine's neither and Brooke's femme.
%%* VitriolicBestBuds: With Garrett.

!!Garrett Brock
A more recent friend of Jorge and Olivia. Garrett is a good guy, but his impulsive decisions and desire to be in the spotlight are pathetic at best and downright harmful at worst. Not helping is that his idol is James, who does not have the best intentions for him at all...
----
* BrokenPedestal: After the incident involving the chat, Garrett breaks all ties with James.
%%* ChildhoodFriends: With Jorge and Liv.
* FatalFlaw: A ton of heartache for the main characters of "Crush" could have been avoided if it weren't for his unwavering desire to be seen.
* GrewASpine: After spending the entire story being a pathetic loser begging for attention, he finally does something right by admitting to the principal everything that happened in the chat that got Jorge framed, clearing his friends name while he gets temporarily suspended.
* HorribleJudgeOfCharacter: He could have saved himself a lot of trouble by not looking up to JerkJock James.
* IJustWantToBeSpecial: Garrett's pining for James' attention stems from his wish to be seen as a cool guy as well.
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: His actions, having led to a serious FrameUp for Jorge, take a massive toll on him, to the point where he's rendered violently ill off-screen. It eventually drives him to want nothing to do with James, as well as tell the truth and clear Jorge's name in the process.
* NiceJobBreakingItHero: Him saying those nasty things in an online chat on James' request...while forgetting to sign out of Jorge's profile. It gets Jorge framed for being an awful person by most of the school for a while, temporarily destroys his friendship with him and Liv, and gets him suspended for a while.
%%* VitriolicBestBuds: With Liv.

!!James Corden
Berrybrook's star football quarterback captain and honor student, James is loved and admired by all, especially Garrett. Except not really. A few people, Jorge included, see him for who he really is, that being a self-centered and toxic individual who gets what he wants when he wants it.
----
* AntiRoleModel: Garrett looks up to him, despite how much of a jerk he actually is.
* BigBad: Aside from Foster and Yannic, James is the closest thing the series has to a true antagonist for his blatant jerkassery.
* BigManOnCampus: Until the end, that is.
* ControlFreak: Gets into an argument with his girlfriend Brooke after she cuts her hair for charity without telling him. He also keeps a vice grip on his team and Garrett.
* Foil: To Jorge. Both are big sports guys who have their admirers, but while Jorge is a compassionate and soft-spoken GentleGiant who always tries to do the right thing, James is a JerkJock of the highest caliber who will use every underhanded act to get away with anything.
* JerkJock: A star athlete at Berrybrook, yes, but also an insufferably smug and controlling jerk who brings out the worst in Garrett, is heavily implied to utilize foul play during sports (Jorge takes issue with this in particular), acts offended when his girlfriend does things without his permission, and rubs Jorge's problems in his face later on.
* KarmaHoudini: Subverted. After his actions get Garett in the most hot water he's ever been in, as well as briefly framing Jorge for what Garrett did, he is not seen facing any consequences...key word being SEEN. It is established that he's shunned by everyone now for being a jerk in general, and he's been kicked off his team and suspended along with his most loyal followers.
* PoliticallyIncorrectVillain: Shows an incredible amount of disrespect towards girls. Fittingly, Brooke breaks up with him for this.
* SmugSnake: He is quite confident in himself and believes he can get away with anything he wants. Once his actions are made clear to the school, he becomes disliked by the school population and gets kicked out from his team.
* ToxicFriendInfluence: Had it not been for him, Garrett would have never made some of the biggest mistakes of his life.

!!Nic Fowler
One of Jazmine's friends, and a member of the drama club.
----
* QueerEstablishingMoment: In the "Time Capsule" story, it is revealed Nic is non-binary and goes by they/them pronouns. They are ecstatic to learn a famous singer named Jesse has come out as non-binary just like them.

!!Zeke
Jazmine's boyfriend before meeting Jorge.
----
* BitchInSheepsClothing: Appears meek and innocent at first, but in reality, he's just an attention-seeking womanizer who makes more enemies than friends.
* CasanovaWannabe: Loves getting attention from girls who are charmed by his youthful and timid appearance, much to Jazmine's irritation. It's clearly worked in the past with people like Nic, but as Liv points out, all of them ended in breakups due to his unfaithful behavior.
* Foil: A bigger one to Jorge than even James. He's much smaller and meeker than Jorge is, but is also a conceited brat who demands attention and has little respect for others. It's a small wonder Jorge is so disgusted with him.
* JerkassAtYourDiscretion: Acts nice and innocent around Jazmine (for a while, at least), but then turns into an opportunistic jerk whenever Jorge is around.
* NiceJobFixingItVillain: To spite Jorge, spoiler:he gloats about the chat logs that seem to confirm Jorge was guilty to Jazmine. Liv investigates and finds out from Ron that Garrett was the real online troll. She ends the friendship with Garrett, while later motivating him to apologize.
* UngratefulBastard: Lashes out at Jorge right after he gets a couple bullies off his tail, just because he's a jock. He later apologizes (because Jazmine had to force him too) and it seems alright...then he asks for him to basically be his bodyguard.

!!Brooke Benson
James' girlfriend.
----
* HorribleJudgeOfCharacter: Seemed to be genuinely in love with James...before seeing how much of an awful guy he truly was. The real kicker was being called a joke by him for cutting her hair short.
* ImportantHaircut: Cuts her hair short for charity, alongside Jazmine and Liv. She breaks up with James when he raises a fuss about it.
* LovableAlphaBitch: She's popular and everyone thinks she's cool. Then when she finds out James is an utter jerk, she snaps and breaks up with him, saying she doesn't date shallow trash bags.
* RejectedApology: Liv makes apologize to her as part of the conditions for being forgiven. She shoots him a DeathGlare and says "whatever".
%%* TownGirls: The femme to Jazmine's neither and Liv's butch.

!!Mr. Dominic Ramirez
The neurotic assistant teacher to the art club.
----
* AdultsAreUseless: The only major example of this in the series (aside from Mrs. Crabbler, who can barely do much of anything due to being senile). The most he can do when the science club strikes is give them a DeathGlare AND THEN beg Ms. Tobins to do something instead.
* CoolTeacher: Despite being a rather useless teacher most of the time, his students still respect him as much as he does. He even offers to repair Jensen's glasses near the end of "Brave".
* DespairEventHorizon: The disbanding of the art club hits him the hardest. He can barely muster words when he asks his students to leave.
* Foil: To Ms. Tobins. While she is a an athletically-built BadassTeacher in every sense of the word who has a firm grip on her students, Ramirez is a heavily-built NervousWreck who often has to have his students do the thinking.
* NervousWreck: Ramirez is almost always in a neurotic state due to events outside of his control.
%%* ShipTease: With Ms. Tobins near the end.

!!Ms. Tobins
The respected science teacher, and assistant teacher to the science club.
----
%%* BadassBiker: As seen in her EstablishingCharacterMoment.
* BadassTeacher: Her EstablishingCharacterMoment is arriving to Berrybrook on a motorcycle, for starters. Tobins is one of the most effective teachers in the entire school, working with equal parts authority and support. There are also the rumors the students have about her, ranging from her mastering kung-fu at only nine years of age to owning a man-eating plant.
* Foil: To Mr. Ramirez. While he's a NervousWreck who constantly needs his students to do most of the thinking, she's a BadassTeacher who holds sway over all her students and beyond.
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: In spite of her club being one of the least disciplined, she does not condone their behavior, and is always as fair as she can be to her students. She even helps Peppi out of her HeroicBSOD by encouraging a combination of art and science.

!!Mr. Kristoffer
Jensen's uptight math teacher.
----
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: Despite being an incredibly strict teacher prone to giving his students extra work, he ultimately just wants his students to succeed, and encourages Jensen to never give up, as hard as his subject may be.
* SternTeacher: Prone to giving his students extra work, but he is not cruel. To name one example, when confronting Jensen about his failed math test, his first question is about if his personal life is okay or not.

!!Mrs. Rashid
The gym teacher at Berrybrook.
-----
* AsskickingLeadsToLeadership: Even the rowdy athletes in both Jorge and James' circle cow tow to her on account of rumors that she can bench-press a truck. Aside from that, she is the strongest of the faculty (though that's not saying much).
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: Does her job efficiently while making sure none of her students feel bad about their performance, as well as reprimanding anyone who tries to get away with anything out of bounds. Not even James is safe from her judgement.

!!The Principal
The unnamed principal of Berrybrook, and the one figure every student and faculty member answers to.
----
* EveryoneCallsHimBarkeep: All the characters simply refer to him as ‘The Prinicipal’.
* TheDreaded: Every single person in Berrybrook, no matter how influential they are, are ants compared to the power this man has. Whenever he speaks, everyone holds their breath.
* TheFaceless: Only ever seen in silhouette.
* MinorMajorCharacter: Being the principal, he has a lot of authority on the school grounds. However, he only makes a handful of appearances in the series.
* NoNameGiven: He is never referred to by his first or last name.
* NotSoStoic: According to Peppi, he cried small ManlyTears upon hearing about the clubs' collaborative project, and offers to forgo suspending them for their efforts.
* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: Despite his intimidating position and (lack of) appearance, he is ultimately a good leader doing his best to keep the peace at the school. Best seen when he suspends both the art and the science club after their fighting spirals out of control. His reasoning can best be described as a polite and professional TheReasonYouSuckSpeech to the clubs.
* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: Gives two pointed, yet polite, ones to the two warring clubs in "Awkward", calling them out for corrupting their purpose and focusing more on the glory and fame of the club fair and trying to destroy one another instead of actually giving the school something with their gifts.
