[[folder:Main Characters]]
!!Luceus/Act
!!!Voiced by: Tori Matsuzaka (JP), George Rainsford (EN)

Co-captain of the Guard for Arba kingdom and one of the two potential heroes of the story. ChildhoodFriends with Aurora and [[spoiler:one of the two final-surviving Children of Light]].
----
* AnimeHair: Jessica's Puff-Puff event with him has her trying to see if his hair is naturally that way or if he's wearing hairpins.
* AttackAttackAttack: Used to be his approach when he once had a similar mindset to Terry in believing anything could be solved with brute force. Doric reveals to Terry in once scene that the failure of said mindset to protect Aurora from getting hurt by falling down the stairs changed him to become TheStrategist as mentioned below.
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: The first time he delivers a long-winded strategy at the start of the game.
* FireWaterJuxtaposition: Fire to Aurora's ice.
* HeroesPreferSwords: Played as straight as possible.
* InSeriesNickname: He and Aurora are usually just called "''Captain''" by the other characters. Sometimes in his specific case, he's called "''Lord Captain''". This is likely to avoid the issue with voice acting where he and Aurora can be renamed.
* KillItWithFire: His primary element. Throw in Zap for a dash of ShockAndAwe.
* OpposingCombatPhilosophies: With Aurora and Terry. Luceus' long-winded strategies annoy Aurora, who would much rather leap into the action, while Terry thinks that any strategy ''at all'' is a matter of cowardice and weakness.
* RedOniBlueOni: The blue to Aurora's red, as indicated by their primary uniform colors. [[spoiler: Even moreso to Terry's even-more-red.]]
* TheStrategist: He devises a long-winded strategy for nearly everything. [[spoiler: This often puts him at odds with Terry, who exemplifies using raw strength and power over thought and strategy, and they're forced to come to together in order to help Terry defeat the guardian of "the most powerful sword in creation" during one of Gragwort's trials.]]

!!Aurora/Meer
!!!Voiced by: Mirei Kiritani (JP), Susannah Fielding (EN)

Co-captain of the Guard for Arba kingdom and one of the two potential heroes of the story. ChildhoodFriends with Luceus and [[spoiler:one of the two final-surviving Children of Light]].
----
* AnIcePerson: Her primary element is ice and she's quite capable of using it to freeze enemies. Throw in a dash of ShockAndAwe when learning Zap.
* AttackAttackAttack: Her preferred strategy as compared to listening to Luceus's ramblings on every strategy going down to the finest detail. Because of this mindset, she takes quite a shine to the similarly-minded Alena.
** Even in spite of this, she will more than just take note of Terry's overconfidence and call him out on it and express concern for his safety, such as [[spoiler: when he tries to singlehandedly take Gragwort's trial to find "the strongest sword in creation".]]
* CatchPhrase: Only in japanese :"Mata nagai yatsu ?" meaning roughly "Again the long explanation ?" She always says that when Luceus explains his strategies.
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: Dual-wielding popgun rifles at the Arba Festival and firing like crazy, missing her target entirely.
* FireWaterJuxtaposition: Ice to Luceus' fire.
* HeroesPreferSwords: Though her unique weapons are usually along the lines of a [[RoyalRapier rapier or epee]].
* InSeriesNickname: She and Luceus are usually just called "''Captain''" by the other characters. Sometimes in her specific case, she's called "''Lady Captain''". This is likely to avoid the issue with voice acting where she and Luceus can be renamed.
* JustFriends: Aurora gets quite agitated when anyone flirts with Luceus, but will deny it means anything.
* MeaningfulName: [[spoiler: Aurora's name is fitting considering she shares a name with the Roman goddess of dawn and she's revealed to be a child of light.]]
* RedOniBlueOni: The red to Luceus's blue. [[spoiler: And not as red compared to Terry's super-red]]

!!Doric/Dirk
!!!Voiced by: Creator/BanjoGinga (JP), Creator/StephenCritchlow (EN)

King of Arba and a world-renowned warrior. [[spoiler:He and all of the kings in his line are also Guardians, tasked with protecting the Children of Light. When their original village was destroyed, he found the surviving Luceus and Aurora and took them in as his own.]]
----
* AuthorityEqualsAsskicking: He isn't nicknamed "the Royal Rumbler" for nothing.
* CarryABigStick: He uses staves in battle.
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: Throwing himself into the fray with his captains rather than stand back and let them do all the fighting.
* FunPersonified: The guy's laughter is infectious.
* GladIThoughtOfIt: It's a RunningGag that Doric will cop to Luceus' plan and then interrupt him to finish rattling off the plan himself, only for Aurora to congratulate His Majesty for the good plan.
* HeroicBSOD: Has a brief one after the first events at Yggdrasil, but quickly breaks himself out of it.
* AnIcePerson: His "Crushed Ice" attack covers his staff with ice and bashes foes with it, having a chance to freeze like all ice abilities.
* LargeHam: Though he does command a lot of authority in the process.
* NoIndoorVoice: He's either laughing or shouting.
* RoyalsWhoActuallyDoSomething: He leads the expedition to protect the realm from the monster attacks.

!!Isla/Guiletta
!!!Voiced by: Creator/MikakoKomatsu (JP), Anneika Rose (EN)

Head of the Institute of Ingenuity and a world-renowned inventor. [[spoiler:She is also the granddaughter of the Grand Mother Mediator from the secret village of Dawnsholm which is tasked with neutrally observing the balance of light and darkness in the world.]]
----
* BlowYouAway: Her primary element combined with her boomerang. Add in a dash of KillItWithFire for one of her skills.
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: Blowing a group of monsters away with her Spellcaster cannon.
* ScrewTheRulesImDoingWhatsRight: Her reasoning for breaking the rules of Dawnsholm left and right for the sake of aiding the Children of Light.
* TheSmartGuy: Invented the Spellcasters and Ballistas that appear on several maps, created the monster medal capsule, led the development of the Stonecloud and its generator, and gets seriously angry when she sees that the monsters have reverse-engineered one of her designs into the "Hellcasters" first seen in the Dawnsholm chapter.
* TheTease: She flirts with Luceus a few times, and at least once she does it to troll Aurora.

!!Healix/Homirion
!!!Voiced by: Creator/RieKugimiya (JP), Creator/HarryCollett (EN)

A friendly Healslime who has been a faithful companion to the Arba Captains for many years. He is the only monster to not be turned evil at the start of the game [[spoiler:courtesy of wearing the Circle of Light on his head as a crown to protect him from the effects]].
----
* CowardlyLion: Easily scared, but will throw himself into the fray to heal a party member when needed.
* ExpositionFairy: He's the one who gives you tutorials.
* HeroicBSOD: Gets a ''massive'' one after the first events in Yggdrasil.
* HeroicSacrifice: [[spoiler:Averted, but his willingness to perform one and display true courage is what finally reactivates the Circle of Light's true power, allowing the party to finally be able to damage Shadroth during the final battle.]]
* LeeroyJenkins: Does this a few times to try and show courage in the first half of the game.
* MementoMacGuffin: His crown was a gift from his father and it's been a family heirloom for generations.
* PungeonMaster: He's always inserting some goo/slime-related pun in every sentence.
* VerbalTic: He occasionally ends his sentence with a slurping sound.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Legacy Characters]]

!!!Voiced by: Creator/ShokoNakagawa (JP), Creator/DeniseGough (EN)

----
* AttackAttackAttack: Her favorite way of dealing with anything in front of her, much to Kiryl's dismay.
* BigDamnHero: Her first act in the game is to kick away a boulder that was about to crush the Arban party.
* BloodKnight: She's always more than willing to jump into the fray, much to Kiryl's consternation.
* ContinuityNod: She speaks often of winning the tournament in Endor and earning her original outfit requires winning the tournament in Colissea.
* DoppelgangerAttack / SpreadShot: "Divide and Conquer" will create two spiritual duplicates of Alena on each side of her that mimic her attacks in sync while active, allowing her to deal up to three times as much damage.
* GoodOldFisticuffs: She doesn't need anything else.
* KiManipulation: Her "Great Ball of Fire" Coup de Grâce is seemingly created out of thin air by performing martial arts techniques. In her original game, Alena is completely incapable of using magic.
* LawOfChromaticSuperiority: Her Golden Claws are stronger than her Orichalcum Gloves.
* PintSizedPowerhouse: The shortest female character and smallest playable character overall, but don't let that fool you.
* RapidFireFisticuffs: Her Multifists ability. Give her three Raging Rubies to make her critical hit rate spike and said ability becomes the most reliable way to quickly kill a MetalSlime.
* YouDontLookLikeYou: Her character model has an updated design with a scarf replacing her cape, her dress is slightly more ornate, and she no longer wears tights, but her character portrait still uses her original design. Her original outfit can be unlocked though.

!!!Voiced by: Creator/HikaruMidorikawa (JP), Alec Newman (EN)

----
* AutoRevive: One of his unique passive skills that has a small chance to automatically resurrect him if he is knocked out.
* BeadyEyedLoser: Kiryl's eyes have distinctly smaller with pupils and irises than the rest of the cast.
* BrickJoke: His Puff-Puff event has him admit he's been trying to learn how to play the trumpet. During the ending movie, he's doing just that.
* ContinuityNod: To his ArtificialStupidity in the NES version of ''Dragon Quest IV'', his Coup de Grâce involves him constantly trying to cast Whack.
* TheLancer: To Alena. No pun intended.
* {{Malaproper}}: When it comes time for a performance, he wishes the performer a broken leg.
* PrecociousCrush: He laments that joining the party ruins his chances to finally be alone with Alena.
* ShockAndAwe: With his Lightning Conductor skill.
* StatusBuff: He can increase the party's defence with Kabuff. Kiryl wouldn't gain any sort of healing magic until the second game.

!!!Voiced by: Creator/HiroshiKamiya (JP), Kyle Soller (EN)

----
* ContinuityNod: When the party first encounters a Hacksaurus, Terry speaks up about how much of a handful they can be.
* DoppelgangerAttack: "Falcon Slash" will create two [[Videogame/NinjaGaiden Ninja Gaiden II (NES)]] style spirit duplicates that follow his movements with a slight desync, unlike Alena's "Divide and Conquer". This however still allows him to build up his tension gauge quickly and can triple his overall damage output.
* HumiliatingWager: His Puff-Puff (the one for when playing as Luceus, not Aurora's) event is the result of him losing at cards to Patty.
* ItsPersonal: Said outright when Velasco reveals he's draining energy from the legacy worlds as part of awakening Shadroth.
* NotSoAboveItAll: According to his Puff-Puff event, Kiryl roped him into playing a trumpet duet and now he practices on his own.
* NotSoDifferentRemark: King Doric informs Terry privately that he and Luceus were once very much alike, until Aurora was hurt one day and Luceus embroiled himself in strategery in order to protect her, which moves Terry enough to lay off on his antagonism.
* RazorWind: He's able to create whirlwinds with his "Gust Slash" attack.
* ShockAndAwe: His primarily element. Carries over from him earning the Sword of Thunder in ''Dragon Quest VI''.

!!!Voiced by: Creator/FumihikoTachiki (JP), Ricky Grover (EN)

----
* BigDamnHero: He and Jessica arrive to defeat a group of monsters surrounding the Arba party and takes out his group by destroying the bridge they were crossing.
* BlowYouAway: His Coup de Grace involves spinning fast enough to generate an enormous tornado.
* ContinuityNod:
** His Puff-Puff event has him mention the massage parlor from his own world and attempting the same using Healix.
** His Big Damn Heroes entrance has him destroy a bridge with his axe, like he did in his backstory from ''VIII''.
* MightyGlacier: And his "Defending Champion" skill makes him all but impervious to attack. Stacked on with "Whistle" to set enemies' sights on him, he can make a good distraction for certain groups of monsters and even some bosses so the AI party members can go to town on them.

!!!Voiced by: Creator/AyanaTaketatsu (JP), Jaimi Barbakoff (EN)
----
* AnIcePerson: Jessica can cast the Crack series of spells.
* DishingOutDirt: Her "Serpent's Bite" attack brings up jagged pillars of rock from the ground.
* TheMedic: She's the only character with a healing ability, making her extremely useful.
* MsFanservice: Unsurprisingly if you've played Dragon Quest VIII...though in this game she has competition in Maya.
* NotSoAboveItAll: While in her original game she's normally serious outside of combat, her Puff Puff Event has her asking Luceus/Aurora to close their eyes for a moment before apparently [[MarshmallowHell Puff-puffing them]] to relieve her tension... [[spoiler: [[BaitAndSwitch she just pinched their cheeks though]].]]
* ShockAndAwe: With her "Whipcrackle" attack, which is able to disable robotic enemies like other electric abilities.
* ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill: Her entrance has her unleashing her Coup de Grâce (Magic Burst) against a group of monsters. Yangus immediately has everyone else take cover.

!!!Voiced by: Creator/MarinaInoue (JP), Rosie Jones (EN)
----
* TheBeastmaster: What's her Coup de Grâce? Siccing her pet Great Sabrecat on a line of unsuspecting enemies and trampling them!
* [[BottomlessMagazines Bottomless Quiver]]: She will ''never'' run out of arrows.
* ContinuityNod: When unleashing her Coup de Grâce, she says, "Go get 'em, Purrcy!" Purrcy is one of the naming options for the Great Sabrecat in ''Dragon Quest V''.
* DivergentCharacterEvolution:
** In the main series of games, Bianca and Jessica both belong to the franchise's Mage archetype, sharing a proficiency for knives, magic staves, and whips. ''Heroes'', however, gave Bianca the use of bow and arrows to distinguish her from Jessica (who had been given whips), despite Bianca having no use of bows in her game of origin.
** Bianca's new bow highlights her physicality, which highlights the TomboyAndGirlyGirl distinction between her and the feminine sorceress Nera, who comes from the same game.
* EnergyBow: Most of Bianca's arrows can be charged with some sort of magical energy or electricity.
* MageMarksman: Bianca's playstyle in the game revolves around staying away from the fray while she fires arrows and she can bring some magical support to the team.
* MythologyGag: In one of the tavern conversations with Jessica, she states that Bianca would probably be good with a whip, too. In her original game, whips typically serve as one of Bianca's strongest weapon types and at one point, the developers were considering making whips her weapon of choice before she was made an archer to stand out more.
* PlayingWithFire: Has access to the Frizz series of spells.
* RainOfArrows: Her Rain of Pain ability.
* ShockAndAwe: Bianca's Plasma Dome creates a field of electricity that deals damage-over-time.
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: The tomboy to Nera's girly girl.

!!!Voiced by: Creator/KanaHanazawa (JP), Polly Eachus (EN)
----
* AreaOfEffect: "[[GravityMaster Malestrom]]" and "[[SplashDamage Miracle Moon]]" work this way. Combining them in roughly the same place means most enemies are going to be drawn into a vortex of [[DamageOverTime immense pain]] which can be a godsend in defense missions.
* AutoRevive: Like Kiryl, she has an unique passive skill that can auto-resurrect her on rare occasions if she's knocked out.
* BewareTheNiceOnes: Perhaps the sweetest girl one will ever meet and is capable of creating explosions that cover the entire screen.
* BubbleGun: Her non-melee form of normal attack is to spawn "Hubble Bubbles", in various patterns, small and large. Though slow, these bubbles of magic damage multiple enemies as they travel along their path. They can also be detonated mid-fight for extra damage, or even in conjunction with her [[StuffBlowingUp "Bang"/"Boom"/"Kaboom"]] spell to layer on damage.
* DifficultButAwesome: Making good use of her abilities has one of the higher learning curves in the game but, when put in the [[GravityMaster right]] [[AreaOfEffect hands]], she can [[https://youtu.be/Qe3aIvlEA8s?t=21s decimate anything]] in her path and hold down many a defense target from harm.
* [[GravityMaster Gravity Mistress]]: Her "Maelstrom" skill creates a powerful vortex that drags multiple enemies to it's center and holds them in roughly the same place. It can be upgraded to an "infinite but runs on MP" version that when combined with her "[[SplashDamage Miracle Moon]]" skill (which can also be upgraded to a similar "infinite" varient) can possibly decimate huge groups of enemies at once over a short time.
** This has been also compared to outright ''cheating'' in defense-based missions if her MP-build is good enough. Combining both of her moves can create effective choke points only boss sized enemies will eventually be able to break out of, and not without suffering a lot of damage beforehand.
* HavingABlast: Her "[[BubbleGun Hubble Bubbles]]" can be set to detonate like miniature bombs. She also has "Bang", "Boom" & "Kaboom" as a set of spells. But to top that off, her Coup de Grâce is "Big Banga", a powerful mega hubble bubble that erupts into a massive explosion after traveling a couple of yards ahead.
* [[HeroesLoveDogs Heroines Love Dogs]] - Her "Puff-Puff" event with either Luceus or Aurora involves her petting them on the head like a dog. When they ask her why, she mentions of [[ContinuityNod her dog back home]] (''Bingo'' in the [[UsefulNotes/NintendoDS DS]] translation, ''Lilian'' in the original translations), and that their eyes remind Nera of them.
* MagicalGirl: Several of her weapons make her look like one.
* ManaDrain: Her melee attack, while one of the weakest out of the cast, will replenish MP on each hit (without having to use a "MP restore on critical hit" passive), allowing her to quickly recover magic for more skill usage.
* PimpedOutDress: Nera's dress was made even more extravagant than her original design by giving her opera gloves, a decorative flower, and lace embellishments all over.
* SplashDamage: Her "Miracle Moon" skill creates a storm of circling and slashing crescent moons that spin around a set location, constantly inflicting damage to enemies who get near it. It can be upgraded to an "infinite but runs on MP" version that when combined with her "[[GravityMaster Malestrom]]" skill (which can also be upgraded to a similar "infinite" varient) can possibly decimate huge groups of enemies at once over a short time.
** This has been also compared to outright ''cheating'' in defense-based missions if her MP-build is good enough. Combining both of her moves can create effective choke points only boss sized enemies will eventually be able to break out of, and not without suffering a lot of damage beforehand.
* SquishyWizard: The most magic-oriented character in the game.
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: The girly girl to Bianca's tomboy.

!!!Voiced by: Creator/MiyukiSawashiro (JP), Creator/AnjliMohindra (EN)
----
* ButtMonkey: During her quest arc she is invited to dance on stage only to run into monsters every time. She ends up disappointed that everyone confused her fighting style with her actual dance routine.
* CombatHandFan: Her weapon of choice are a pair of giant hand fans.
* DanceBattler: Maya's fighting style with her fans is very graceful and elegant.
* DistractedByTheSexy: Her "Sultry Dance" is able to reduce the enemies' defence just like the Kasap spell.
* TheGambler: Her biggest lament about being brought to Arba is that it doesn't have a casino.
* GoldDigger: Her main motivation for joining the team in the first place; the hero is allied with a King, and if Maya can impress the hero...
* PlayingWithFire: Has access to the Sizz series of spells and almost all of her fan attacks are accompanied by fiery effects. Her dragon form also covers the battlefield in fire breath for her High Tension attack.
* ProudBeauty: After she finishes using her Coup de Grâce, she proclaims, "I'm hot stuff, huh?"
* TheRival: She and Jessica have a friendly rivalry over who can have a larger sway over men.
* ScaledUp / VoluntaryShapeshifting: Her Coup de Grâce has her cast Puff!/[=BeDragon=] and transform into a giant pink dragon.
%%zce* {{Stripperiffic}}: And proud of it!

!![[VideoGame/DragonQuestIV Psaro the Manslayer/Necrosaro]]
!!!Voiced by: Creator/DaisukeOno (JP), Gwilym Lee (EN)
----
* AloofAlly: Of all the characters that join the group, Psaro is the most standoffish and he insists that he's mainly joining the other heroes in order to free monsters from being used as tools of war.
* BadassBoast: "I am the master of monsterkind!"
* CastingAShadow: Has access to the Zam series of spells and utilizes darkness in many of his attacks.
* ContinuityNod: His Puff-Puff event has him apply some elvish medicine to the hero's face. When the hero asks if he knows a lot of elves, he mentions Rosa.
* DefeatMeansFriendship: He must be beaten in battle in order to be recruited.
* EnemyMine: His reasoning for joining the heroes is to put a stop to Velasco and the Children of Night for their treatment of monsters.
* FashionableAsymmetry: Has a single spiked shoulder pad only on his left side.
* MagicKnight: In the Japanese games, Psaro's humanoid form is distinguished from his demonic form by his title of "Demon Swordsman Psaro". He uses various dark magical blasts in combination with martial arts and swordplay.
* OneHandedZweihander: He wields his enormous broadsword one-handed.
* PurpleIsPowerful: Psaro's magical attacks are all colored purple and he happens to be one of the most powerful members of the team.
* [[RapidFireFisticuffs Rapid Fire Kicks]]: His Bullet Boot attack delivers a series of fast kicks while standing on one leg, followed by an axe kick from midair. Chun-Li herself would be proud.
* SecretCharacter: In the original Japanese, Psaro was a downloadable character, but he was included by default in the international versions of the game. Since it's completely optional for him to join the party, he doesn't appear in any of the story cutscenes.
* StatusBuffDispel: Has access to "Disruptive Wave", which cancels out any of the enemies' buffs. Psaro also uses it against the party when they fight him.
* SuperMode: Most of Psaro's basic melee attacks are kicks with the occasional swipe from his greatsword, but when he uses Liberation, he starts dishing out serious punishment by wielding it with both hands. He can use it for free if he lands 50 attacks in a row without getting hit.
* SwordBeam: His "A Cut Above" sends out projectiles made out of dark energy.
* ThisIsUnforgivable: His reaction to the BigBad's treatment of the world's monsters, and he joins the team to save them ahead of saving the world.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Supporting Characters]]

!!Gragwort
A diminutive but highly-respected creature who is said to train the world's greatest heroes. The heroes seek his help many times over the course of the story.
----
* AnotherDimension: His home on Trial Isle exists outside of the same dimension as Arba. In some trials, Gragwort uses this power to send the party into places that were previously destroyed, such as the Pillar of Light.
* LoveLetter: In the last quest of Maya's personal sub-plot, Gragwort writes her a letter saying that a "secret admirer" wants to see her dance, which as in the prior quests of the sub-plot leads her into a battle with monsters. He admits to writing the letter after the battle is finished and explains that he needed some entertainment since his job gives him no ability to leave Trial Isle.
* SeenItAll: He's been training heroes for a very long time and thus doesn't impress easily. Seeing the party complete his trial to achieve maximum Tension is one of the rare moments that genuinely impresses him.
* TrainingFromHell: Gragwort's usual method of whipping his guests into shape is throwing them into dens of monsters and letting them duke it out. However, he won't let them take on a trial he knows they can't endure.
* QuestGiver: He provides trials for the heroes to pass in order to prove their worth in handling the powers given to them.

!![[VideoGame/DragonQuestVIII Empyrea]] [[VideoGame/DragonQuestIII (Ramia)]]

The godbird of light who reveals herself to be a wanderer between worlds and was the one who summoned the legacy characters to help fight for Arba as, had the forces of darkness been successful, their own worlds would have been next to fall.
----
* EarlyBirdCameo: She's the first to appear in the game's intro but isn't seen in the actual story until near the end.
* ChekhovsGunman: Jessica and Yangus were the only ones to mention that "a friend" had brought them to Arba's world while the rest of the legacy characters had no idea how they arrived. Said friend is Empyrea and she returns later to help the party escape The Fault.

The [[AlliterativeName proprietor of Patty's Party Planning Place]] and bartender on the Stonecloud. She reprises her usual role in swapping active party members in and out.
----
* LegacyCharacter: She's been a regular since ''Dragon Quest III''.

!!The Mayor of Colissea

Mayor of the largest merchant town in the realm and proprietor of its fighting arena.
----
* LastStand: Was in the middle of making one when the Arba party comes to help ensure his survival.
* TookALevelInBadass: He was already pretty cool to begin with but, in the final quest that takes place in his city, he willingly joins the fray to help the party, can hold his own against the giant monsters, and has infinite health!

!!The Goddess of Light

Goddess of the world and leader of the Children of Light in the great war.
----
* BigGood
* OnlyTheWorthyMayPass: Only the Children of Light can commune with her atop the Pinnacle of Light.
* TheVoice: Her physical avatar was destroyed in the war and she's been unable to manifest since.

!![[VideoGame/DragonQuestV Rodrigo Briscoletti (Ludman)]]

Nera's father, who tasks the Children of Light with defeating Bejorn the Behemoose. Interestingly enough, he never seems to notice that his daughter has also been brought to the Arba realm.
----
* TheCameo: He only appears for the duration of one quest.
[[/folder]]

[[folder:Antagonists]]
!!Velasco/Helmut
!!!Voiced by: Ainosuke Kataoka (JP), Creator/RamonTikaram (EN)

The last and greatest King of the Children of the Night. He is the one responsible for turning the monsters against the humans, nearly destroying Yggdrasil, and breaking the seal on Shadroth. He claims to be restoring the natural balance between light and dark.
----
* BigBad: He set everything into motion.
* DarkIsEvil: Despite his claim to restore the natural balance, he knows Shadroth's return would do anything but.
* ISurrenderSuckers: Claims his defeat at the hands of the Children of Light has cleansed his soul, but it's just an act to get them to drop their guard.
