Even though the dosh khaleen is respected for its leadership role, the women in it are still forced to live as prisoners in a gilded cage, forbidden from ever leaving Vaes Dothrak, and sworn to celibacy, whether they want to or not. After Daenerys unites them into a single khalassar under her command, she does her best to stamp out this kind of thinking.
